Their plants are infested with a parasite. Every plant dies from this. Purchased at both Burbank and at central LA locations. I just discovered their return policy a week too late. The manager wouldn't do anything. Regardless. That's a gas and time you can't get back. Buy your plants elsewhere. Home Depot. Nurseries. There's better options.
Good Selection, prices better than the competition & the customer service people seem to be knowledgeable or if there is something they are not sure of they work together as a whole team! I like that the best..
My husband is there every week just about. We have gotten carpets, and installation. Super Service from knowledgeable people. They help in many ways, and give you all the discounts to help. Great place to start a project.
Push the button and wait for help. Novel concept. At least there store is cleaner than Home Depot and organized very well. You might not find a knowledgeable person to help you but someone will eventually show up!
We bought a home and have had many projects, one of which is replacing doors. I called them after my bad experience with Home Depot and because of what we had gone through, they did the estimate at no charge. Our installer was Steve, who is one of the nicest, laid back guys I've ever met. He and his assistant did a wonderful job on all doors, and Lowe's calls back to make sure everything went okay. If we buy more lumber than we need (or anything) they gladly take back the leftover. They also give a military discount, which adds up.
Never buy from Lowe's white people let's put them and all these woke liberal white people hating racist scum out of business let them see once for all what there ideology is really worth in the real world, don't just shake it off and go on like we've been doing lets hurt there bank accounts permanently. I recently went to Lowe's on David McLeod Blvd. I asked an employee where an item was located. He totally ignored my question and then proceeded to be very rude saying he knows nothing. It was in the lawn mower department. I then went to find someone else and he was playing on his phone and would not even acknowledge me. These two employees would be terminated immediately if I was their manager. Worst customer service in Florence. Both were young men that worked in the lawn mower area. Please find out who they were and address it accordingly. This type of employee will ruin your business. Done with Lowe's for good until they get better management that won't tolerate this type of behavior.
After struggling with our old appliances for years we finally upgraded everything over the last two years. I would at this point take my old appliances back gladly. And like a fool I purchased everything from Lowe's. They were so kind on the front end but good luck getting any help after the sale and the items have problems. They will jump behind that "30 day" clause so quickly it will make your head turn. Currently out of 6 new appliances three of them are not working and they bottom line just don't care.
So... word to the wise, it might cost a few more dollars to deal with a local business over a large chain but the extra expense will be well worth it. I have a large order waiting for payment there and they will be waiting a long time before I spend any more money with them. Thank you Lowe's for the reminder that price is not always the most important factor and the value of small, local businesses.
My washing machine bit the dust after 20 years. None of the stores in our small town sells appliances, and to go shop for one meant driving quite a distance. So I looked at Lowes website, found the same brand, and ordered it from the nearest store, sight unseen. They delivered it and hooked it up the very next day, and hauled the old one off. Couldnt be more pleased!
Lowe's customer service does not even remotely compare to its major competitor (we all know who that is). Unfortunately, the competitor's politics do not align with my beliefs, so I thought I would give these guys a chance. They blew it, first interaction. I will have to bite the bullet and patronize the other now. If you can't even get something simple right the first time I deal with you, then that is not a great sign for future interactions. I ordered a gas fire pit and some rocks that go in the pit. I chose the option to have the order sent to my home. After the order was placed, I received an email telling me to pick it up at a store in San Jose, California, I live 600 miles away!
