“You will pay forever”

Paid of 3k without ever missing a payment. Then they ketlpt charging me 10$ a month I askednthrm to stop and after a year the bank told me closing the account was the only way to stop them from taking money from my account. Then a guy named Andre emailed me saying I owe 30$. I said no and send me a bill. Then they posted me owing 270 to trans union saying I missed payments. I asked for a detailed bill and he said look at my account and see what I owe from missed payments. I told him that account does not exist because of them and I cannot check it. I asked again for a detailed bill and he stopped messaging me.

I purchased a portable air conditioner unit and a computer the end of May 2018. I received my items two weeks later, everything was great until three weeks ago when the portable air conditioner unit went out. I placed a call to the customer service unit and they directed me to call the place where it came from the number was provided, I asked the rep is there anything they can do in regard to the inconvenience. The rep ensured me that he will have my next payment moved until the air conditioner was fixed ( ok great). I placed a call to the number they provided me and was advised by the person who answered the phone, there is a special unit that will need to call me back! It's now a week later and still no call so I decided to call back to the customer service today, I spoke with another very unprofessional no help rep who just kept telling me she didn't see any notes about me calling a week ago (what!) she can have ups come get it but I will still need to pay for it (totally pissed off) I asked to speak with a supervisor the rep told me he was gone for the day, she said there is a team leader here and without even telling me she x-f the call to his voice mail. I decided to hang up and call back ( no help at all) spoke with another rep again who didn't see any notes from the last two rep (bs) I asked about the ups coming to my home that the last rep was going to send. The rep say if the rep told you then I guess it will come (what!) but she didn't see any notes (bs again). The rep told me the team leader was on lunch for another 25 min and she will have him call me today NEVER RECEIVED A CALL! This company is very unprofessional DO NOT USE THEM THERE PRODUCTS ARE VERY CHEAP!

Bad new the BBB said they have 135 complaintin the last year and 35 in the last 3 months happy I didn't order from them.

Eldin (honestly all of the agents I spoke to in both service and verification departments) need better training!
As an account representative it was his responsibility to inform me of the ordering process as it stands and relates to my order while in the process of completing it. I told Eldin what my expectations were and he made no real effort to respond to my emails and/or calls to keep me abreast of what had and would occur. I had to initiate most phone calls and or emails.

My husband has NEVER experienced such poor customer service when dealing with MDG and I am extremely dissatisfied with my overall experience. Eldin failed to keep me offer any additional solutions and basically wanted to end the call before I could even inquire additional options or to see if there was anything else I could do.

Moving forward, agents need to work on knowing the actual processes prior to attempting to up sell and or do the bare minimum. I don't expect a response, nor do I want one at this point in time.

CONS:
1. Allowing spouses to have separate MDG accounts, but not allowing them to use their primary joint account.
2. Allowing me to use a separate account (that I have had for over 5+ years) only to be told it is a high risk account. They wanted several upfront payment prior to even attempting to send the product out.
3. Policy changes mid order. These potential detours should have been explained up front. I would have chosen another company to work with.

As I type this I called specifically to speak to the verification department, the gentleman immediately sent me back to service, service rep said I needed to speak to the verification department, ummmm... ma'am they just transferred me to you... she almost hung up on me until I demanded to speak to a supervisor... and I have been holding for at least 8 minutes. I am so incredibly disappointed.

Oh... they won't use the account they took the payment out of, but they took the payment first, THEN cancelled, so now they owe me a refund (which they are in the process of doing) and want 7 payments up front from my new account before they send me my order. Like what?!?!

Did speak to a supervisor. Not sure if I believe that my issue will be resolved. I don't have the best credit, which is obvious as I would not be utilizing this service if I did, but I have not had such difficulty with obtaining a product from a financing company, EVER! I think I may avoid MDG all together.

The current solution is to send my August statement from my "high risk" account and if it is "approved" then I might be able to only have to make "one payment" and get a "discount" on my order. Over it!

I hope whoever goes this route has better luck than I have. I have a migraine.

Tip for consumers:
Call 1st!!! Make them explain the entire process before you place the order. It is very easy to get lured into thinking it is a straight shot. It is not final until the verification department says it is and they won't speak with you until after they finalize the agreement and obtain the 1st payment.

WARNING: DO NOT Give this company your personal info!
Extremely shady company with bait and switch business practices. Was approved to spend $2,500 only to be told I need to make a large down payment stretched over 3 months BEFORE they would even ship the product. Since I am buying these items as gifts for Christmas, it makes zero sense to make payments on an item I wouldn't even have possession of for 3 months.

I have a good, stable and tenured job with great income, and established checking accounts with positive history. I have been approved for virtually all lease-to-own programs I have applied for before and after this transaction, such as Aarons, Quadpay, Afterpay, Flexpay, Klarna, Rent A Center - you name it. In my entire life and history of using lease to own, all of those company's verification steps never once flagged me to make some sort of odd down payment schedule without receiving the product/s. So there should not have been any issues with MDG if they were a legitimate service.

I find it extremely suspicious that they did not tell me about the down payment requirement until they obtained all my personal info and waited until I signed all of the paperwork. I was literally told at the very last step. I honestly am surprised no one has started a class action suit against them for this type of deceptive business behavior (to which I now will be looking into). Stay away at all costs, it is a huge waste of time and a way for them to harvest your personal info. I have used lease to own my entire life (I have never missed a payment with any company in my life) and this is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. Zero stars.

Je ne sais pas vous si vous pouvez vous absenté comme sa 3 jrs de suite mais moi non! Sa ses sans compter la perte de salaire engendré par ses absence!
