MLB.com totally misrepresent their product when they are selling it to you. They tell you will only be blacked out of games based on your physical location (I. E. Zip Code) when in fact you are blacked out of games based on the location reflected in your IP address, which can be very different. They can override this but you have to go thru a 20 minute ordeal with their horrible customer service each time it happens and then it's right back to the same problem for the next affected game. Why can't these morons simply build an override into their product when IP and physical addresses differ, which they often do. Couple this with the really bad quality of the streaming and it's just not worth it. They always tell you it's your internet speed that's the problem but how is it that everything else is OK except their games?
Sadly there is no negative five star option on this rating system.
MLB. com is a perfect example of how MLB and team owners view fans. Obviously they have contempt for us. How else would they put up a crap product like MLB.com? There are mom and pop businesses out there providing better web experiences than this crappy MLB.com
I bough i hat from this place and is been 13 days and I'm still waiting for my hat and when i call customer service there is no help at all. If you are planing to buy something here. Think about it. It will be the worst experience ever.
Besides crashing at the most critical times during a ball game… You never know when or why a game will be a blackout. Of course you do have the option of listening in a foreign language to a radio show from somewhere. I will not renew my subscription.
As a Mets and baseball fan I love this app. Many features from scores, videos, schedules and ticket purchases. You need a strong signal to have full access but that's true about everything.
I purchased MLB to watch baseball games and not watch player or manager interviews. If I wanted to watch interviews I would go to the appropriate sportscast to do so. It is very annoying and aggravating. If announcers can't keep up with a game, then change announcers. This is a crap policy. Watching Atlanta game and have had three interviews in just the 3 and 4 innings And another 3 more thru the 7th. Redundant crap. What think of team, etc, etc. Sick of watching these interviews. MLB.TV has always been glitchy but doable. Since the ASG of 2023, matters have taken a downturn. I can no longer view condensed games or recaps on my Android TV and customer service has yet to respond, nor have I seen any online comments about it. I'm holding out hope that complaints like mine will light a fire under them to do the right thing.
The MLB makes money off the talent of minorities, yet cowardly bow down to Stacy Abrams who is a racist and a liar. How could you take away the income the Allstar game would bring to mostly black Atlanta and give it to white elites in Colorado? Sports should not take a political stand. Period. Never. We are SICK of it and will not spend another minute wasting our time allowing you to make money off of us.
I purchased what was supposed to by NLCS tickets if the SF Giants made it last year, ut they unfortunately did not. They accidentally posted the sales for the NLCS and tickets but were not supposed to. Instead is refund my purchase, I found hit I was charged for tickets for a game I was already attending. I contacted my he Giants who said they could not refund my money since potential game date had passed. They did I could work with ticketing in 2022. End result is I spent $700+ on tickets last October but only was offered one game this year which would be about $100. They are not offering any merchandise or food credits, or another game. They made $600 off of me!
Thanks a lot MLB TV! You screwed me real good. First you made me pay twice, first for the all teams package and then for the Padres specific package. Now, I hope to watch some of the postseason games, perhaps the Dodgers/Diamondbacks game, and it's only on TBS. Yes, MLB is a monopoly, and they just don't give a $#*!.
MLB has a rating of 1.3 stars from 121 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with MLB most frequently mention customer service and last year. MLB ranks 52nd among Baseball sites.
