I ordered two swim dresses (L) based on their measurement guidelines. One fit one didn't. The smaller of the two was at least two sizes smaller, proven by measurement and overlaying on top of the other. You would think that MODLILY would accept this as a Quality Control Issue on manufacturing and sizing. Oh no, they off load the problem to the customer, and will issue a refund if the customer pays for the return of the item, but did I miss something they did not provide the correct size in the first place, the error is with them. As an alternative they have offered me to keep it and give me a 50% refund - What use is that to the customer! So I took a long hard look at over 300 reviews of different items, Swimwear, Tops, dresses and guess what over 60% of the reviews stated that the items were too small.
I thought I would check them out and bought a few items... The clothing is of poor quality, smells of chemicals - AND - you can't return or get any response from them at all.
I have made numerous attempts to return, filled out the proper forms on their site, and still no response. It is a SCAM!
I have ordered from Modlily before and keep coming back. I have been very happy with the way things have fit me (X-Large). Everything has been true to size. Things are beautiful and I have received many compliments on them. The hardest part is waiting for my orders to arrive.
I love shopping at Modlily.com. They have good quality products and great shipping rates. I am always skeptical to order clothing online and this company has never disappointed me. I recently bought a maxi dress and it fit and looks great. The quality of the dress was amazing and I constantly get compliments about my dress.
I have purchased eight tops now from Modlily and they are all my favorite go-to tops. My very first order I placed, I did end up canceling because it was lost out in the world somewhere for two months. Since then, my orders have arrived very timely. The quality is great and the clothes are so comfortable, pretty and are true to size. I will definitely be buying more!
Ordered three suits, one was a two piece which you had to pick out size for bottoms. As soon as I ordered I knew I had not so called customer service they assured me they took care of it. When they arrived weeks later they were the wrong size! Without good customer service you got nothing.
I ordered 2 tunic tops from them. It took a month to receive them. One was way too tight and I hoped to return it. I have tried to go through the steps to return the item and it doesn't work. My password is continually being refused saying they don't match (when they do). Their "live chat" is never "live" and there is no other way to get in touch with them. This is a scam company and I'm sorry I trusted them. Buyer beware.

I ordered the largest size available, which according to my measurements, should have fit. Everything about the suit was fine...except the bodice. I completely 'fell out' of the top, no matter how tight I tried to tie the straps around my neck. Thankfully, I have a friend who should be able to use the suit.
I thought ModLily would have a nice suit for a 'big girl' like myself. Sadly, I was mistaken.
Ordered a dress and a top. The sizes are not true to their chart. The quality of fabric is SO poor and the dress looks nothing like the photograph. Plus it took 3 weeks to receive the products. We'll see if I get the refund which I have requested. Total SCAM!
So wanted to receive the tankini top i ordered October 10... but after 3 months and numerous emails to the company ( which asked me to wait 2 moredays while they checked on it.), i finally surrender. Calling Visa today to dispute the charge. Very disappointed.
Skirt was really OK and flattering on my legs. Really nice to put it on. Overall this was a really good buy. Great material not thin but not thick. I got lots of compliments. Even decided to order two more in red and white! Don't pass on this, you'll regret it!
To be honest, I really like buy clothes from Modlily. Not only they can provide the best pre-sales and after-sales services, but also the elegant designs and comfortable fabric give me good impression. I will buy more from this site and I hope you will like this online fashion store too.
I ordered large, on the size chart its a 14_16 UK. My daughter is a size 6_8 and they only just fitted.the material looked nothing like what was on the pictures. I will not be ordering from here ever again, and I will be informing friends not to purchase any items.
I ordered 6 dresses in different sizes feeling confident that I wouldn't have issues with a return. WRONG
I was within the return time, spoke to customer service and they simply denied return.
The quality of the dresses were nicer then I expected and I could have bought my regular size. Now I have 6 dresses to donate.
Buyer beware just don't expect the ability to return.

I paid $20 extra to get my dress by time I needed it. Only now the tracking says it will not get here in time. They will not even refund my shipping charge. This is not the first time I've had issues with them but it will be the last.
I ordered 2 sweaters on Dec. 3rd for Christmas presents and everytime I check the tracking status (a joke). It says the same thing... it has been shipped and was in China somewhere. This status hasn't changed at all and it's now 1/2/17. I sent an email ticket inquiring about it and all I get is the same response... it's been shipped. Im so furious and after looking at all the reviews (after the fact) I don't anticipate receiving good quality clothing much less getting my order for quite some time if at all.
Please take your money elsewhere. Clothes are cheaply made with material that I can't explain. Feels like slimy paper is the best I can describe. Their pictures are deceiving. Bought two dashikis and the material is the worst. I should have paid attention to the reviews but was sold on the pics. DON'T do it

I waited weeks for my dress to arrive, and when it did I was disgusted. The quality was just awful, there was no way I would have ever been able to wear this rubbish.
The returns process was equally bad and the product ended up in the dustbin, I would have been too embarrassed to take it to a charity shop. This company should not be in business. Total rip off

Answer: You probably received same aweful material that I did but different color and design! My top was advertised as 95% cotton. Modlily LIED. I received a unbelievably ugly top in polyester. I wouldnt give it away to my worst enemy. I ordered through Paypal who has a new division solely dedicated to Modlily returns and complaints! Paypal will get my money back and I will be posting all over the interner to warn people of these chinese thieves!
