These guys don't deserve a star not one. Who apologizes over and over with no efforts to fix anything of no way to do it? These guys do. They can say I'm sorry more than than you could imagine only thing is it is an apology to nothing and that's what they do about anything. Nothing is what they are good at. And that's all you're gonna get.
I as suppose to receive a debit card from them for last 3 months and I have not received it yet. I have called their customer service more than ten time. I tried all the way in their automated service to receive a card or be able to talk to customer service. I have spent 1-2 hrs waiting in a call to speak to the agent and has no luck. 9 min wait has turn to hour long waiting with no reply and eventually I hung up.
The app does not work, it does not log me in, it goes right back to the sign in and the website just keeps saying "We are verifying your browser before taking you to the next page" and just keeps spinning forever So basically, you can't do anything without having to call.
I walked into the bank and got $348.50 IN CASH ON MY CARD. Nothing else worked. It has to do with trying to take out the entire $350.00. You have to deduct the fee. It is not a scam, but scammers use it to steal your money.
I paid for a weekly hotel and they said that the hotel charged me an extra $65 to make sure the payment went through? The hotel told me they have no idea what Money. Net is talking about. Now I have to wait 30 days until I get $65?! And I have no idea why because it's never happened before…I've done this 20 times at save hotel! Don't do it…hidden fees, horrible customer service…stay away from this card and bank…use normal one like Capital one or Chase!
I tried to access my account putting in the correct username and password. It told me it was invalid. I tried a second time it locked me out. I called and they told me they were updating their system. It is a common problem with money network either locking it or not sending a code. Always a hassle to use.
I received a money Network card as a middle class tax refund. My card number was stolen most likely due to me putting into a gas pump when. I bought gas. This company noticed that my card number was stolen and being used else where before I did. They sent me a new card with the stolen funds with in the same week. I just want to say thank you to the company, I really appreciate how do you do I really needed that money and having it back helped me a lot.
Money network only allows a money transfer "if" you have your money network card. In most cases the reason customers request this service is because the card was lost. Security questions to verify identification should work for this service.

I was just helped by Tesa with being locked out of my account, it's my first time having a job, bank account and card and she made me feel comfortable and understood the entire time I was on the call. She did not rush me, and she was so incredibly sweet when talking. I highly appreciate how kind she was, considering I had absolutely no idea what on earth I was doing.

Im still waiting for my california tax refund, I receive the card around december 22 I try to use it at different banks, but the card can't be used at any place, immediately i spend around 1 hour in the phone when i call money network institution around 12/23/22the bank representative give me the only option to send me a paper check, the time to receive it will be from 10-14 labor days, today 1/11/23 i haven't receive it, i contact the bank again today, the bank agent name's, (Fransis) mo she told me thst i have to wait from 4-5 weeks, came on, who is MONEY NETWORK? They really have profesional representative?
I requested a new card and the representative I spoke with did not assist me with getting my card before Christmas had it not been for God my children would have missed the opportunity to benefit from presents despite me attempting to avoid this confusion
So on on my pay day they decided to say that weird activity was happening on my account even though no one tried to use my card or make any type of transactions the app had been screwing up already for months at this point and I was told that they would have to issue me a new card and that it would take 7-10 business days and I asked if they could expedite the card since the issue was on their end they said no they couldn't do that then I asked if I could pay for it to be expedited and they still told me no WTF!?! So at that point I was done I said you know what please go ahead and close my account she said ok sure she put my on hold for about 10 minutes and closed my account and said a check of the account amount would be sent to my address on file that she read back to me and verified great
TWO WEEKS have gone by and I called to ask where my check was...they NEVER sent it they let it set in what was supposed to be my CLOSED account for two weeks and I again asked for it to be expedited because this is once again THEIR FAULT he said no and then told me it was going to take 10 TO 14 BUSINESS DAYS! I still haven't received my final check from these scammers and I plan on taking them to court I haven't been able to make my rent and bills on time because of this nonsense

I had over $10.000 on my state disability card (I had heart arrest due to heart failure and am working with UCSF towards a transplant) and in three days they allowed $10,000+ to be transferred to an undisclosed account. They have admitted it was fraud and are now making me jump through hoops to get the money back. I have a life threatening heart condition and cognitive issues. I shouldn't have to worry about this, but here we are. Word to the wise...transfer your funds off this card as quickly as possible. It is not secure.
Resty the rep l, was rude, condescending and disrespectful when dealing with me today. She ignored me and when I asked to be transferred to a supervisor, all of a sudden she pretended to be professional. I then spoke to Bruce the sup. He was rude and brushed me off not even recognizing me when he first took my call. He seemed to immediately take her side without even understanding my concern. He then transferred me back to customer service without me being aware. I've graded hundreds of customer service reps and they did not represent the company well at all. I'm still on the calll waiting as we speak. The rep name is Resty and sup Bruce. Today is 10/5/2024 at 1245-122pm eastern standard time. Their call needs to be monitored for quality assurance.
I made 2 purchases. One at a store and one at a restaurant. I went to my transactions and noticed my account balance was missing almost an extra $20. My instant thought was a holding fee so I added up my 2 purchases and multiplied the total by 20% and sure enough it was the exact amount I was missing. I called the customer service number and listened to the recording of my transactions and the totals they were telling me I spent were 20% higher. I went through all of their documents and FAQ pages and nowhere does it say they take a 20% fee on each individual purchase. It does say there may be a hold at a hotel or gas station (and states this hold can be bypassed by paying inside rather than at the pump) but not a local store or restaurant. I can't imagine had a spent more without checking my balance! Not the time to be messing with people's money and by reading through these several hundred reviews, I wouldn't doubt there to be a possible class action against this company soon.
I have had several issues with with them recently. Every transaction I make online gets flagged for fraud. When I call customer service they tell me I should use another payment method. THEIR SOLUTION IS TO NOT USE THEM. Huge red flag in my opinion
It all started when I tried to check my balance on 12/1/24 using the correct pin. I was told it wasn't, I called all day to customer service. Money network lied to me for 2 days when I would tell them the correct info they would turn it around as if I was lying. Today 12/3/24. I finally spoke with Kathy from money network that I had a zero balance which I knew wasn't right. Cali unemployment had just deposited 900 on the 20th of Nov. I never had a problem with my card until I notified customer service that's when my money was stolen off my card. Theft within the company. I'll be contacting BBB, EDD, and sharing what happened to me on other sites about money network. Zero star for me.
