Scam!
December 14, 2022

I received the card with $700 on it. I tried to transfer the funds, but the transfer button on the website sends you to a non-existing page.
I could use it at the gas station though for a $80 gas purchase. A week later the card had $5 on it, because it was used for Christmas purchases at JCPenney by someone else.
I called the customer service number, but it says I have the wrong number! Oh well, at least I got some gas out of it!
My suggestion if you get that card: use it right away 100%… if it works.

The state of California should never have used this Company for their tax refund debit card. Can't use card at any Bank's listed on their website to get cash. Spent two trips to find this out. Almost impossible to use the online transfer. I spent two hours and finally got the funds transferred. I will have to wait to see if this was successful. I plan on contacting Caif tax refund board to tell them how bad this comapny is and not to ever use them again to handle tax refunds

Stealing money?
September 6, 2022

Had this account for i dont know maybe a week and I already started to notice small things, for example. I had $25 on my account. I spent $15 exactly at the store, there should be $10 left it's basic math. But when I opened my account I only had $6. Another time mind you I only had this account for ONE WEEK. I had $40 I spent $7 at Walgreens I open my account and my balance is $25. I call costumer service and they said "we take a fee whenever you use your card but send you back the money after 7 days" so your telling me your borrowing my money?

If you can avoid using money network through your job, please do so. There is no customer service. There is no way to speak to anyone at the dispute department. I had to involve HR through my job, to even to attempt to get my money back.

Our family had someone steal a wallet that they went to an ATM and with your $500 out of our account. We were the police report we found the game for truck number where they lived in the area the police are looking for them all of that information and this company has it f****** nerve to say there's not enough information to return on $500 for the family. They are absolutely the 1% correction is I don't know how they do this people who are reviewing your cases are cowards I called for six months and they said no news and they denied our claim and they just told me two months after they did it. I don't see how these people are in a business maybe it's because you're in a foreign country and every one of them are foreigners they don't do they are not from America I guarantee you that absolute f****** Crook. But I can guarantee this I will submit this m*********** the day I die cuz they're giving me my Goddamn money

I am ready to go to an insane asylum because of these people. They have just sent me a 4th card that randomly works whenever it feels like it. The customer service on the phone is ridiculous, they are not helpful in any way what-so-ever. They just make me feel MORE upset. They tell me they show NO DECLINES when I'm holding 2 declines in my hand. There is NO way they should even still be in business, i am at a total LOSS.

Just Dont
May 17, 2023

The company shut my account down without my approval or knowledge. Expressed no reason other than saying the account was compromised. I didn't have any money missing or anything. I asked to speak to the fraud dept who closed the account but was told the Fraud dept doesn't "Do" calls. The company has given no reason for closure. They also told me 5 times that they sent my remaining balance in the form of a check to my home address. They told me that the check is always canceled by the company but will not tell me why. Today I had to reach out to a lawyer for counsel. In short, they closed my account and are keeping the couple hundred dollars that was in the account when they closed it.

Money network. Lies.
March 28, 2021

Their website states how you can "Pay all your bills" using this Money network card. That's a lie, because I cannot. Ive tried paying for my spotify, and my phone bill, it will not take my money network card. Even tho, I have more than enough cash on it. Also, on their website. They also state that if you DO have a bank account, you can transfer money FROM your money network account, into your actual bank account. I tried it, it took 5 days, for me to get a notification stating, it wasn't successful. The money, just disappeared. Didn't get returned to my money network account, nor was it on my actual bank account. Just disappeared. 200$ gone. The website/card Highly disappointing. Can't do much with the damn card. And your money goes missing.

Money Network is the Worst Card I've ever had. Horrible Customer Service. EDD switched to Money Network from Bank of America. You can't withdraw more than $800 a day. Yhey won't let me transfer Funds to my bank. They don't give you Routing Numbers or Account Numbers needed to make Online payments to my Auto Finance Company or any other Credit Card that require this information. They leave you on Hold forever. EDD needs to go back to Bank of America.

Horrible
January 17, 2021

Money network is horrible when it comes to you having to dispute charges. Instead of being able to do it from the app you have to call them, and wait for paperwork. I made a dispute in the month of December and was told I wouldn't see my money until mid February. I never received the paperwork for the credit. Even with the virus going on and times being hard no one was willing to speed the process up. And come to find out the IRS even dropped them so I can't even receive my stimulus check. Once my funds are returned I plan on closing this account IMMEDIATELY!

Money Network is a big fake. You keep getting this error when you try to log into your account but despite the correct number you keep getting this invalid error. The customer service is a bunch of robot calls and aren't helpful. They are a big scam.

Off and on since 2022 and part of 2023 following Money Network password recovery and reset procedure online still DOES NOT WORK.
OTP One time password reset Money Network website sends does not let me in either.

The app used to work. Not anymore.

The only way I can check my balance is by calling their automated system put in my birthdate, last few numbers of my SSN and my four digit pin.

My Google Smart Lock Password Manager Auto fills my credentials automatically on Money Network website.

They refuse to let me in. Their system apparently has been programmed to deny account access. Been through this numerous times.

My temp agency contracts with this joke of a company.

The only good thing I can report is the overseas call center agents over the phone seem friendly enough but that's it.

Aweful!
April 8, 2022

Had money in authorize transferred-out of my account twice. Completely emptied my account had To wait two weeks to get it back. And I called as soon as I seen it on my account and still couldn't do anything about it. No one speaks clear English. No one in dispute or banking you can talk to on the phone. Just the same 10 people that work there. Can't even take my money out and put Into a real account until they return my money. I told them it's not my card or password to my account that is the issue. Still freeze me card and have to wait 5 days for a new one. They aren't a real bank. Please get a real bank. Your money is not safe with them.

I called Money Network regarding an issue on line with the stimulus card I received. I spoke with one agent that has NO knowledge on how to correct the issue on line. When I asked for a manager, he put me on hold for over an hour. I had to call again and this time spoke with Kiera, who was rude, un helpful and hostile. For no reason, she kept putting me on hold, refused to provide her I.D.#, refused to transfer me to her manager, Yvonne, or even tell me what state she is at. I asked to be trasferred to the escalation team and she put me on hold for over 2 hours only to later hung the phone on me.
This horrible company should be out of business and no one should hire their services.

Absolutely the worst
April 17, 2023

I haven't encountered customer service this poor in a long, long time. If I could give zero stars, I would. I have been on hold with both phone and text for an hour, only to finally get a very nice and fatigued person who COULD NOT HELP AT ALL and told me I was lucky to get in the phone queue and not cut off immediately. Terrible fail, state of California. Just awful.
