I've used MovingHelp for 2 years and it's been great. It works like Priceline or Amazon and it connects me with the best and cheapest movers available. I personally recommend to filter the cheapest movers first and then find the company with a five star rating from more than 100 customers. I have never been disappointed.
U-Haul Moving Help Experience Feedback I had a negative experience with U-Haul Moving Help. I hired a moving company named RA Transport, owned by an individual named Ryan, through U-Haul's moving help service. We scheduled their services 17 days in advance, and they confirmed they would be there. We agreed on the job's timing, but communication issues arose as the moving day approached. The day before the scheduled move, we tried contacting them via text with no response. After calling them, we managed to confirm the move for the next day. However, on the day of the move, they failed to show up. Despite our attempts to reach them, our calls went unanswered and went straight to voicemail. Even after trying from another phone, we were unable to get through to them. It seemed like they had blocked us deliberately and did not respond to our text messages. I believe U-Haul should establish clear standards for service providers to prevent such disappointing experiences.
I used to be a moving help provider on movinghelp.com, but recently I was removed for telling them that a company was putting money into his crews bank account and ordering services just to boost their ratings up from a 1.5 star. And I had a misunderstanding with the agreement and thought even if I had family or friends wanting my services as paying customers, that they had to book through movinghelp! I never went to the jobs I sent my crews out and then I submitted the payment codes and just cause the customer had my last name I got accused of making false reviews on my account yet I had no access to that information. And I tried to communicate with movinghelp.com they only have a contact number for customers no contact number for the actual moving helpers. So in a nut shell they just want your money then as soon as they have it they say your on your own. Absolutely no communication. And not professional at all, I mean were all human and we do make mistakes from time to time but as soon as I was told NO! "Family or Friends" could use my services I didn't do it again and it was only 3 days later they just shut me down and said I was warned several times but have documents proving otherwise, and they refuse to email me back to discuss things. They treat people feeders bottom and think they are better than everyone else and have never made a mistake or misunderstanding. If I could I would give this company a -10. Next time go with "MOVERSCOP.COM" And look for Rise And Shine Movers" if your ever moving to the Missouri or Illinois side I know they do an outstanding job and very reasonably priced.
LEFT US HIGH AND DRY! Supposed to pack us up to move and another company to unload... Day of move, no communication until 30 minutes AFTER their prearranged arrival time of 9am. Then said wait awhile until they can get another crew to help us. It would of been around 1pm until someone could help us. NOT including time it took to load furniture, drive to new home. Our appt for unloading was 2pm. Sooooooooooooooo. That left us high and dry. No choice but to beg neighbors and load ourselves. Here we are in our 60's humping boxes and items they were supposed to. Great! NO THANKS! STAY AWAY! No customer service. Their subcontractors seem to be people off the street, unvetted, unqualified grunt workers.

The mover called at the last minute and stated that he could not make it. Left me in a horrible position. And I was billed for a service I never received.
This is the worst service u have ever seen on the planet. The reps are rude, arrogant and I actually feel they are racist by the way they treated me. They hung up on me twice. I requested a copy of the recorded call (as it explicitly says on the menu) due to the horrible nature of the call but each time they hung up. Only one rep gave her name Sarah and she was extremely rude and insulting/disrespectful just like the rest of them she put me on hold for over 30mins and never came back. After renting a truck from U-Haul we turned to MovingHelp.com to hire someone to help move me out of my apartment. First of all, U-Haul severally downplays their partnership with this company (our first sign that this website wasn't legitimate). After making a reservation weeks in advance, the movers never showed up, they even started ignoring our phone calls (avoid Michael Letterman AT ALL COSTS completely unprofessional). I will say that their customer service was very helpful, Samantha and Sean worked to find me a replacement team for the same day but I had to search for their number because their contact information was not available on their website (see below). It took four hours but we finally got movers to help us out and they were fabulous. If you're looking for helping moving around Piscataway, NJ look up Smooth Ride Movers (Michael Mayfield *******847).

Paid for job, Fast Track Moving. They never showed up, left several messages on phone, they never even returned calls. Moving help was no help, even in getting my money refunded. Would not recommend.
Our mover canceled last minute and after calling both U-Haul, MovingHelp, and using the chat feature, we were left out to dry. No other movers were provided for us and the customer service was TERRIBLE. Now we are on the hook to move on our own.
Not only did they cancel last minute, but they required US to log on and do the cancellation. Furthermore, the customer service at both U-Haul and Moving Help were extremely incompetent and unhelpful. No attempt at rectifying our situation was made.
If you want an easy, stress free move DO NOT USE MOVING HELP. You're better off hiring high schoolers at this point
If I could give them zero stars I would! I booked movers, talked to the movers on the phone and they clarified they would be here the next morning, they checked and they were only 40 minutes away. The following day I am outside waiting for the movers and I get a text stating that they are too far away and would not show up. After that no response to my calls or my texts. Horrible, STAY AWAY FROM MOVINGHELP.COM!
DO NOT USE! My movers didn't show up. When Uhaul connected me to moving help (because moving help doesn't post a phone number...), they got me other, more expensive movers. When I called those movers, they said they could t move that day. Moving Help left me completely screwed on the day of my lease. I AM DEMANDING A REFUND AND WILL NEVER EVER USE THEIR SERVICES AGAIN.

The second time it rained again and we rescheduled. I asked if I needed to cancel online and call when I was ready. I was told no, they would continue rescheduling on their end. (I have text to prove it) I called and texted them on 2/2/20 and I instantly got a text messages and voice recording saying it was blocked. I tried aging on the 3rd and the same thing. I hired these guys(won't stop moving) through uhaul to load my home contents into uboxes. It took them three times as long to do the job as normal movers and they kept over billing me every day. One day they charged me for ten hours and they only worked for eight. They charged me for five workers and there was only three. They stole about $15,000 worth of my belongings. Anything of value was taken. They through all of our clothes into trash bags. They broke open my locked gun case. They stole an old license plate and put it on their truck and are using it to drive across the toll bridge now and I am being fined for it everytime they do. I instructed them to padlock the uboxes and mail me the keys. They never mailed me the keys I had to break the padlocks. They won't answer their phones now when I call them. They disassembled my bed frames and exercise machine into so many pieces I will never get them back together. I am filing a police report today. They left a valuable painting in the house and forgot to pack it. The house has been sold now so I can't get the painting.
We booked movers a week in advance. I got a call from Kenny at movinghelp.com. I was told that not only would they call the day before but 30 minutes before they got there. The day of the move no one showed up. We called and the mover said "oh, yeah, I meant to call you. I'm on my way to Indiana". Rebecca spent half the day to get another mover there to help. We were charged for the first guy that flaked AND twice the rate that he was getting for the second guy. There's no customer service number to call so you have to sit on eternal hold with uhaul for them to transfer you. When I spoke with John at customer service he said I can refund the first job since it didn't happen. Is that all you need... oh no there's a matter of the $335 charged to my card! He said since it was same day service it would cost more. Not my fault. He ended up not doing anything since they are just a marketing place. Called the bank to dispute the whole charge! Btw... they don't have a number listed but HERE IT IS! *******110
They appear through a third party service through Uhaul. They have no contact number to speak to a representative and they damn sure will not respond to email or the useless chat that should be immediate help. You'll pay for your movers but they WILL NOT contact you to schedule their services. You'll be greatly inconvenienced trying to find movers the day before you're supposed to be moving. Save yourself from a headache and DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
I hired Palmetto Movers to unload a truck in SC and the owner Scott Robinson was EXTREMELY rude, disrespectful, and very unprofessional. He arrived FIVE hours before our scheduled appointment and was angry that we were not ready for him to unload so he left. I had to find new unloaders at the very last minute. MovingHelp removed the charge however, they marked the review for his comp. That I didn't need service which is a LIE! To let Palmetto Movers represent MH and treat people this way is HORRIBLE and I have no way to share on MH's reviews of Palmetto the true experience.
We hired 2 workers through Movinghelp.com from a company named Papa Bear Movers, Shalotte NC for 4 hours. The men were one half hour late, we did not know that the one young man just started working that day. Loading was fine, the move was to our new home 5 minutes from where we loaded the truck. The one man was very experienced but the young man was useless. He did not have the strength to lift much. My 70 yr old husband, his older brother and my son had to help bring our headboard upstairs over our outside railing. The two men struggled to get our dresser upstairs and scraped the edges of it taking off the stain. The stair landing wall was damaged in quite a few areas. The experienced man returned that night with some others and spackled the damaged wall and said they would return to sand and paint and fix our dresser. We have never heard from them again. Papa Bear Movers should have had two experienced movers and had the younger man help. Papa Bear Movers and MovingHelp dropped the ball on this one. I doubt they care though, U Haul should not be recommending this company.
WORST COMPANY EVER. Did not show, did not care. I confirmed all the information twice and was reassured all was set to go. On day of Move NO SHOW, NO RESPONSE. Tip Top movers was company. When I called Tip Top on Monday I got a song & dance why no one came & no reason why they did not call to tell me there was a problem. Not even an apology. When I called Moving Helpers who helped set up move, they could not have cared less! Zero accountability! THIS COMPANY DESERVES A NEGATIVE RATING.
Nightmare ~ Never hire them!
No Show day of moving! We even confirmed night prior to move. Day of moving we waited hour past appointment and called. We had to call several times to get someone. When we did the person at Right Choice said they had to check why scheduled help didn't show... we waited again for a call back, nothing! We called again and line was constantly busy. Finally got them again on phone and the response was shocking... the Right Choice person said to us "they didn't show up and that happens sometimes, then told us "nothing we can do, sh*t happens"! We pleated with Right Choice to fiind another crew immediately and we were told NOPE nothing available till next week. We had the 26ft UHaul rented in the drive with All our belongings packed. We were so Upset and angry we demanded a refund and told to contact UHaul.
Just a note, we are both in mid 60's and told them, they didn't care(period)!

Never again. This is a SCAM. They do not even have a phone number and live chat takes forever.If you want a reliable service go somewhere else. I booked this moving service "called Right Way Is Best Way Moving" 3 weeks in advance and no one contacted me until the day before the moving. They contacted me by email and mentioned among the questions that they are not available anytime between 12pm-4pm which was the time I reserved them for. I contacted them and they stated that they have been double booked due to updates in the website and con not do anything about it. I had everything booked around that time period and I was supposed to cancel everything or change everything to fit their schedule. Both companies also absolutely refused to honor the deal and compensate us for the difference we are going to pay to any other company we are booking through. I even tried to call them back and email them to work around their time and change the moving time to the morning but was not able to get through. This is not something I wish for anyone while trying to get through last minute packing.
Hired movers through Uhaul - they contracted Moving Help and I was giving a list of movers to assist with loading. Please checks terms - you have no recourse with either UHaul or Moving Help. Movers arrived - one was wearing an ankle monitor - My iPad was stolen by one of tge movers - they were totaly inexperienced damage to my furniture was over $2000 … at the end of the move tge owner tried to extort the cost of tge move although it had already been paid to Uhaul / Moving help … warning DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE- they offer no help in damage or other claims … currently with legal authorities…
Twice I booked a moving service thru MovingHelp and twice I was called back and told that I would have to choose a different company. The last time just days before I was scheduled to move with NO GUARANTEE that the new company would be available. NOT ACCEPTABLE!
This service is horrible, don't bother. They don't even manage the movers. They't even give me a proper refund. It's overpriced and customer service is essentially non-existent.

I tried to book a crew on U-Haul and this third party moving company came up. I gave a card and selected next but wouldn't go authorize until I made a correction. After I made my correction it still wouldn't go through... A few moments later my bank sends me a notification that there are a few charges that have been posted to my account. Confused as to how the site tells me that there is an error keeping me to book, but then still authorize my card several times? I then try to call but there is no contact information to reach anyone and none of the stores have this number. The customer service line of course takes forever to get to someone, so while i wait i decide to email them on the contact us side. I ASK for them to call me when i get a response from the contact center and they tell me that there is no number to reach them. She then makes me go to another site to log in and set up an order, but i was never able to complete on in the first place. At this point i was upset and demanded they reverse the charge... MAGICALLY they provide me with a phone number... *******110. I call and they took care of the matter after this ridiculous hassle. I hope that this helps someone with the same issue... Book with another company!

I suspect that maybe the owner is the one that who reviewed their company and gave them 5 stars... I can't for the life of me figure out how any rational-minded customer would give them anything but ZERO STARS.
So our move from Florida to Massachusetts continues to be an adventurous one, all for good reasons EXCEPT...
I emptied our storage unit in Wesley Chapel and I hired a "reputable" mover to load the 26' Uhaul truck that I rented... My first mistake... hiring PrimeTime Movers and everything was downhill from there.
First I paid for 4 movers for 2 hours, 2 of them were late, second, one of them was filthy, third and this is the most demoralizing... we had a 3 bedroom storage unit to be loaded into the truck... the majority of what I've seen so far is damaged. Things that shouldn't have been loaded together, heavy fireplace put on top of my daughter's bedroom furniture... tore it to pieces. Instead of securing the full bottles of bleach we had, either on the floor or in the Mom's Attic of the U-haul, the just sat them on top of an expensive piece of furniture and 1200+ miles later... bleach everywhere and on everything. Can you say, INCOMPETENT?!
I feel like I've held your attention too long if you're reading this, stop reading, look at the pictures and then hire a different moving company. Prime Time Movers are a Prime Time Joke and a Full Time Nightmare. I can't believe U-Haul recommends them.
