I've used MovingHelp for 2 years and it's been great. It works like Priceline or Amazon and it connects me with the best and cheapest movers available. I personally recommend to filter the cheapest movers first and then find the company with a five star rating from more than 100 customers. I have never been disappointed.
U-Haul Moving Help Experience Feedback I had a negative experience with U-Haul Moving Help. I hired a moving company named RA Transport, owned by an individual named Ryan, through U-Haul's moving help service. We scheduled their services 17 days in advance, and they confirmed they would be there. We agreed on the job's timing, but communication issues arose as the moving day approached. The day before the scheduled move, we tried contacting them via text with no response. After calling them, we managed to confirm the move for the next day. However, on the day of the move, they failed to show up. Despite our attempts to reach them, our calls went unanswered and went straight to voicemail. Even after trying from another phone, we were unable to get through to them. It seemed like they had blocked us deliberately and did not respond to our text messages. I believe U-Haul should establish clear standards for service providers to prevent such disappointing experiences.
The scheduled mover was a no show. He called to say he was running 15 minutes late and then never heard from him again. I Called his phone all day and it went straight to voicemail. This company does not have a published phone number so it's impossible to get assistance. They did however run the charges on my debit card. Never ever hire this company, you will be left alone without help on your moving day.
We used movinghelp.com via the U-Haul website. We had a problem getting a receipt from our movers for an extra hour of work. After a month of going back and forth to get a bill for $100.00, we contacting U-Haul who sent us to MovingHelp.com. When we got in touch with them, there was no phone number, just a live chat. On their website they write:
"Why can't I talk to someone by TELEPHONE?
We only provide the connection to quality laborers, your communication should be directly with your Moving Help Service Provider(s), and after all they work for you. This would also drive your prices up and we want you to receive the best services for the lowest price!"
Well that might be fine if they worked with quality companies. After going back and forth with someone via chat for 15 minutes, they simply hung up on me. I will never use movinghelp.com in the future and I will discourage every single person I know from using it.
Tip for consumers:
Don't use it!
Hi hired MovingHelp and paid 135$ for two hours through uhaul. These guys did not even show up nor answered my calls. I received an email later at night from them, saying they apologized as they were sick. Still, I did not get my money back.
I would recommend this company to all my friends, they were very very very impressive, loved their service not one complaint. Amazing and awesome job Cory and Zack performed on 9/29/18. Alex their manager was very helpful as well.
MY name is Carolyn Jordan, I can't stop talking them to my friends about how they packed my truck.
They'll take your money and provide little to zero actual service. Our movers broke our flat screen tv and had zero insurance! The insurance from uhaul only covers a catastrophic crash or whatnot to your container. Do NOT use these crooks!

I am appalled it's over a year since my move and Moving Help is saying they won't refund the $ I paid to the person whom I was afraid of that came to move me. U-haul also is not wanting to assume responsibility for all of my broken and stolen belongings. Proceed with cation. Neither company wants to assume responsibility for their poor vetting of resources that they recommended.
Hire any company not listed on this site. The reviews listed on their site are fake, they do not allow negative comments. Unprofessional scam company-- they do not show up at agreed upon times, they are not movers in any form and know nothing about moving. I highly recommend searching for local movers that have a dedicated business. Since their movers are not professional companies, they don't care what they do to you, and they know you're at "their mercy" they think they can get away with anything.
You will regret all the frustration of using this company.
The right hand does not know what the left is doing. Customer service did not know how to assist with very basic website matter. Database is outdated. Specific and important information regarding movers is not provided. Good thing I was proactive to call. Otherwise, move day he would have shown up at 4:30 as he is not available until that time. Uhaul should reconsider. Lay down with dogs, you get up with fleas.
I hired a company through MovingHelper and they did a really bad job loading my U-Haul. I called the owner of the company and told him before I would pay for the services and he said we would deal with any damages once I arrived in Florida because he believed his guys had done a great job after speaking to them. WRONG! Several items were damaged and MovingHelper takes no responsibility for the company's they recommend people to use on their site. I consider this false advertising as well as misleading customers and taking their money and leaving it up to the customer to fight for reimbursement for damages.
Tip for consumers:
I don’t recommend anyone using MovingHelper. Find movers outside of anything U-Haul related because you will get better service and probably a better way to resolve any issues that may arise.
Wish I could give a zero. This company charged me twice and their name was listed on my credit card bill. Moving Help said I had to get a refund through their third party, which never received payment. Makes no sense. I turned it over to my credit card company.
I have been trying to resolve damages with the mover and the website does not allow you to update the review you give the movers. MovingHelp.com says, "it's their process." There is no phone number to call and if you ask the live webchat agents they will simply say, "No." Never in my life has a company been so careless about their customers. Especially when they take such a huge chunk of the payment.
I would give them no stars...They take on no liability, they provide no support, and they do not facilitate any resolutions with the moving contractors on their site even though you pay them. You cannot supposedly dispute the charges with your credit card. I would not use them and I would do your research on the movers you actually hire. The reviews they post on their website for each moving contractor is not reflected properly. They throw in a couple not so good reviews but not any of the others. Give reviews on google, yelp, and Better Business Bureau and any other site you can to let people know about good and bad contractors in Las Cruces Nm and anywhere else. They will do better when we stop using them. Get people to do the right thing in a world where it has become acceptable to destroy peoples property, not take pride in your work. And do the least possible. It's not ok...You are in the service industry!
Tip for consumers:
Do not use!!! Do your research on any contractor you hire.

Never showed up! The guy responsible for my service told my dad that his guys were drunk from Super Bowl weekend. Set up two separate times to accommodate drunk workers. Still nothing. Finally he said the hell with your reviews I'm quitting uhaul... this was terrible service! Never again! I'm debating quitting uhaul as well considering the recommend this type of company such as movinghelp.com. Their website actually says powered by uhaul yet the workers no nothing about it?
Movinghelp.com was the worst customer service and moving experience of my life. "Johnny" is at best an aggressive and intentional unhelpful customer service rep, and at worst a fraud. Do not book with them, unless you want to lose your hired help the day before your move.
The managers are flat out liars. Every person you talk to will tell you a different thing about what they are able and unable to do with your orders and with the service you received. They will lie about who being able to communicate with other people in their office. One person said she had never heard of a manager in their office - and they apparently only one office in Phoenix. Their order system is confusing and they will cancel orders, rearrange charges and add charges to your bill without your consent. Then if you need to clarify, they will hang up on you if you get frustrated. Their movers are completely hit or miss. I will never use them for anything ever again. I'm enraged.
Moving help gave the best helpers. The way the treated my move was top notch. I would recommend these guys anytime. All of my furniture and boxes came through without a scratch or dent. Thanks Ronald, Eleaszer and Carlos.
I employed one of their contractors who damaged items in the move. I could not get any satisfaction from the contractor so I called movinghelp and all they did was to put me on the phone with the contractor. Putting the contractor on the spot, he acted concerned but in the end did not pay for any damage. When I contacted movinghelp about this, I was informed by movinghelp that they are a neutral party. The only thing they did was to give me contact info for the contractor. How helpful. I already had that and at this point, the contractor quit taking my calls & messages!
1 arranged mover who on day of move did not return phone calls, no show trying to talk with someone took 30 minutes on hold, no help without Internet service ehich I did not have, no supervisor available, horrible experience. Moving is stressful movinghelp.com contributed to frustration will not use again
American Metro Movers Alliance - Stay Away. These folks never showed up. Confirmed appointment... did not show up. I had to pay extra day for truck rental.
Movinghelp.com was useless to assist. Stay away.
I had an awful experience with this company and would not suggest them to even my worst enemy. The movers doddled and took a little break before driving to the new place. They didn't get the job done and would not take additional money to finish it.
When I told them that I had a problem with their service, one of them got up in my face and yelled at me, demanding his payment code. I gave it to him just to get him to leave. We finished the move ourselves.
I didn't review the company right away because the movers knew where I lived and I didn't want them causing trouble. I waited a while and went to review them but apparently I missed the "review window". I contacted the company to tell them about my experience and they did not report it or do anything to make it right.
Absolute garbage. Just bite the bullet and pay a little more for a well-reviewed local moving company.
When something goes bad, and your moving help breaks something, you have no recourse. MovingHelp.Com points out the waiver on their site that absolves them of ALL liability, forcing YOU the customer, to file a lawsuit if your stuff gets ruined.
Their movers are NOT required to carry liability insurance by MovingHelp.Com and most of their movers, I've determined, are just muscle-ey guys who just show up and load or unload, and have no real moving experience and don't really care.
I WAS a loyal customer, but after my antique desk was damaged and I was treated this way, I will NEVER use them again. Ever!
Tip for consumers:
Just don't use this website. The workers don't care about your stuff. Hire professional movers elsewhere and see their insurance policy Declaration page before signing anything!
Deceptive company and worthless customer service. Here are the contact phone numbers to address your complaints. Their claim that they have no phone support is bogus.
1. Moving Help Office Number- *******472
2. Sean Flanigan Office Number (Moving Help Program Manager)- *******886
Derrick and Ronnie did an awesome job loading a U-Haul for us. Everything was in one piece when we arrived in Montana. They were prompt, helpful, and friendly. They even helped unassemble a bed before it was loaded. I highly recommend them.
The other reviewers are correct!: This mover took over $1000 more than the original quoted price. He did this on day of move. It was every dime I had. Michael Little told me that otherwise he would never move me. His people damaged my furniture and Michael Little would not file a claim. When I contacted uhaul, they said they would remove this company from their website and could not do anything more than that. This company is still on their website. So they were no help and I guess Uhaul lied also.
Do not do business with Michael Little and moving help..

I hired movers on 4/26/19, they said they'd be there at 10:00 but never showed up. Someone called me two hours later but, by then I had already loaded the truck myself. I cancelled the job thru movinghelp.com and they did not issue my refund for $100 as they state they will on their site. This service is terrible and will never use then again. I will tell anyone that will listen NOT to call this service! After much research and time wasted submitting online requests for a refund and waiting for livechat (what a joke) I was able to locate a phone number. Feel free to call *******811 and ask for Customer Service.
