I've used MovingHelp for 2 years and it's been great. It works like Priceline or Amazon and it connects me with the best and cheapest movers available. I personally recommend to filter the cheapest movers first and then find the company with a five star rating from more than 100 customers. I have never been disappointed.
U-Haul Moving Help Experience Feedback I had a negative experience with U-Haul Moving Help. I hired a moving company named RA Transport, owned by an individual named Ryan, through U-Haul's moving help service. We scheduled their services 17 days in advance, and they confirmed they would be there. We agreed on the job's timing, but communication issues arose as the moving day approached. The day before the scheduled move, we tried contacting them via text with no response. After calling them, we managed to confirm the move for the next day. However, on the day of the move, they failed to show up. Despite our attempts to reach them, our calls went unanswered and went straight to voicemail. Even after trying from another phone, we were unable to get through to them. It seemed like they had blocked us deliberately and did not respond to our text messages. I believe U-Haul should establish clear standards for service providers to prevent such disappointing experiences.
They were scheduled for 2:30pm and I received confirmation. At 2:30 received call they would be 1 1/2 hours late. They were in Mobile AL. I'm in Navarre FL. At 3:45 received call they wouldn't arrive before 4:30 due to traffic. I had a 20' truck to unload and return NLT 5:00. When I complained to them I was told they are a legitimate business and didn't need our work and canceled me altogether. They said I was rude. I was not rude I was mad that were not holding up to their agreed service. Buyer beware. Will NOT recommend.
I heard of Movinghelp.com through Uhaul so I figured they were reputable. I reserved my truck through Uhual and booked a couple guys to help me through a link on Uhaul's website. I had to move my appt by a week so when the guys showed up they told me that the reservation for the help didn't go through so I had to pay him cash because he wouldn't get paid otherwise and he'd leave. I paid him $500 because he gave me a sob story about how his Mom was affected by the hurricane in the Caribbean, her house doesn't have a roof, blah, blah, blah. I just opened my CC statement and guess what I have a charge for the full amount ($305). Shame on me for not checking the story before I paid him but shame on Uhual for representing these crooks. I went to the Uhual branch and they said they are not affiliated with Movinghelp.com and can't help me but that's BS. If there's a link on the Uhual website they are getting a cut of the fees.
I paid for two movers through MovingHelp.com website for services with "Professional Services". One mover showed up 30 minutes late and after unpacking. After the move was complete, I discovered multiple items were damaged. As the two movers were done and ready to leave, one of the men asked me to log into the website so I can log the job as completed and rate them. I felt pressured, uncomfortable and confused. He guided me to login to "rate us a 5 star so we can stay on top." Being that I was exhausted and wanted them to leave, I did go through the ratings as a 5 star as he requested and watching over me.
After discovering all of my damages, I contacted MovingHelp, letting them know what happened and that I wanted to change my rating for Professional Services. They told me that all ratings are final and they cannot do anything for my bully tactic from the movers.
MovingHelp is a middle-man and does not hold to or stand by the services and companies they promote on their website. MovingHelp does not care what happens to you and your move after the "deal" is done.
Do not use MovingHelp.com, they are a worthless!
I use this service recently moving fro A to B site my suitcase with personal info missing when we unload the truck in B place tha last person toke the suitcase was the moving helper in point A, so I report to police and report stolen identity's that is so bad
Gene was the best mover I have ever had he was on time. And was done within my two hours he went above and beyond great job guys I will be using this company again.
This was a mess. I was never able to reach the mover I paid for. Movinghelp has no phone number to reach anyone in person. I tried to get a refund on the site and was told I could only get a credit. I then submitted for my refund and tried to use it to obtain another moving service and once I chose one it told me my credit could not be used. I then somehow found an email for movinghelp.com and informed them of the above. They insulted my intelligence by replying with direction to get a refund to my card. HA. I had to repeat myself in the email to explain that i am not stupid and know how to follow directions just fine, as I am also intenet savy by all means. I finally got my refund back. It took an hour or so online just to get it back! Alot of time wasted with moving service as tje end result.
Team Hustle Movers are a very unprofessional company. They never answer their phone calls and do not respond promptly or dont respond at all to their texts or messages left on their phone. I had hired 2 movers for 4 hours and changed it to 4 men 3 hours for 8 am. I received a text message that said they would be at my home between 8 and 9am! They NEVER showed up... Never called to explain. I left messages and texts until 10:30am. I called my moving company that I had hired for the afternoon, Top Notch Movers and they are helping me out. Top Notch Movers are coming to load me and then follow me and unload my truck. Do NOT HIRE TEAM HUSTLE MOVERS! They are scammers! They tried to have me pay a second time for more than double what I had already paid. Big Time Scam artists! Do NOT hire Team Hustle Movers! They will try to take advantage and scam you!
Tip for consumers:
Do NOT Hire Team Hustle Movers. Hire Top Notch Movers they will bend over backwards to help you out!!! Ask for Kathy! She is fantastic!

I used Top Notch Movers for load and unload of my uhaul truck. I FIRED Team Hustle Movers after a no show for 2.5 hours!
First: they show companies as available, you pay money into the account to secure the company, but then the company is busy and cannot come to move you. After you try three times, and add more money, Movinghelp.com cancels your order automatically. The message from them says your funds are being refunded but they are not being refunded. I waited three weeks, calling them every two days, waiting 30-40 minutes to talk to someone, each time they reassured me that a refund was processed and would get to my account soon. After 3 weeks of waiting, someone FINALLY said there had been a glitch and that no refund was issued. They said that only a manager could issue the refund, and that it would take 48 hours. I called back two days later and they said that the manager was off yesterday so it would be soon. Now i'm going on 72 hours since the person promised me that a refund would be processed and they can't even confirm whether a refund has been processed. I am owed $280 that should have been refunded over 3 weeks ago. This HAS to be a scam. I don't think i'll ever get this money back.
I used a mover on the site called CADILLAC Moving services, worst experience ever. They were OBVIOUSLY INEXPERIENCED, extremely slow on purpose I think as its pay per hour, rough-handled my property (dents, bruises, damage and broken boxes allover) Arrived later than expected and very disappointing service. Last load was going into my pickup truck, they just dumped everything not bothering if it was secure (I offered straps to secure the stuff but they passively ignored me) and driving to my location 10mins away I lost a beautiful costly rug, a box and a shoe stand which fell off on the freeway. When I tried communicating the fact after it happened, I got no response.
We hired a moving company through U-Haul/MovingHelp.com for a 3 hour job, and about an hour before it was supposed to start we were informed by the movers that they would be an hour late because a previous job was going longer. Turned out they were two hours late so we ended up loading and moving everything ourselves, and the movers only showed up for the unloading at the new house and worked 45 minutes. The movers communicated to us that we had to request refunds through MovingHelp directly, but later MovingHelp said there was nothing they could do because the movers had already been paid. I genuinely believe the movers were willing to issue a partial refund for the 2 hours not worked but MovingHelp refused to allow it, so we ended up disputing the charge with our credit card company, who immediately refunded us for 2 hours. I would not recommend MovingHelp.com due to the fact that they refused to assist with refund and told us to go after the movers ourselves. Good thing we used a credit card to book them!
Today, i had a very bad expereieence with your customer support executive. The service i booked didn't show up and i called the customer care and explained the problem and asked for a solution. The representive was not provided the solutuina dn instead of that he was explaining the facts and at particule situation he cut the call.
Very very bad service

The company we booked at MovingHelp.com lied to us. When we confirmed they were "on the way". Well, after 2 hours he wasn't taking calls. Straight to voicemail. Heres where this gets interesting. I started with an online chat with an agent named Marisol. I've been in the customer service industry for 30 years and this girl shouldn't be working in Customer Service. She was RUDE an unhelpful. I asked to speak to a manager three times. She wouldn't get me to a manager. Unheard of.
I than called into their customer service number and spoke with Marco. He basically said "too bad, I'll rebook you with another mover but you have to pay the difference". This company is nothing more than a reservation agent for independent movers. They take a fee off the top and don't care a bit about what happens with the mover. Research your mover very carefully. MovingHelp.com could careless about you.

I ended up changing moving companies and paying the difference.
Their website promises professional movers that ensure your belongings make it to your new home safely, what it doesn't say is "Use at your own risk" They do not require their movers to be insured. We hired movers to unload the uhaul we rented to move my 80 year old mother and 86 year old father to be close to us and they robbed them blind of irreplaceable family heirlooms, jewelry including a Rolex watch. Some of the jewelry was my mothers grand mothers, my mother 14 months later is still heart broken and all we could do was hire an attorney to track down the thieves and place a judgement against the owner of the so called moving company who does not appear to have anything of value. movers.com just wants to repeat the fact they are not responsible for damage, loss, theft etc. even though their website would lead you to believe they have checked these people out as they refer to them as professionals and ensure your belongings will make it safely to your new home! DO NOT USE! U-Haul should not be endorsing a company on their website that do not require insurance from the very people being hired to load, move and unload peoples life possessions!
I tried to become a moving helper and Uhaul/ moving help DID NOT approved me because I'm a woman they denied me and said I don't fit there business model and what's that? That I'm not a man! Don't use there site there are others out there
This is by far the most unprofessional and reliable company I have ever come into contact with. I booked my first set of movers who never contacted me. I called, email, texted and no response. The customer service team is a joke; they do not help you at all. I could not get anyone to call and assist me in rescheduling and went back and forth on email with them countless times. I was originally told that I could cancel and rebook for the same price, that was a lie. Paid an additional $40 for the second set of movers the morning before my scheduled move. Same thing as the first: no one called me back or got into contact with me. Went through a nightmare with the customer service again. Waited on the phone for over an hour while they tried to contact companies. They booked me with a third one, who was another $40 extra. They did text, but told me that they could not accommodate my timing. Not surprising considering it was 12 hours before my scheduled move. Do not use movinghelp! I have never written a review in my life until now.
I have never experienced this level of unprofessionalism. Dennis from Expert Movers through Uhaul's Moving Help website was so rude! He texted me saying he'd be 2.5 hours late for my move and then got angry at me for being disappointed. Then after I waited over 4 hours for Dennis to show up he texted me instructions to cancel the move. He did not pick up any of my phone calls and left me stranded to move alone. Absolutely trash. Uhaul should take Expert Movers off of their website. I am still appalled at how the entire situation happened. And I hope Dennis and Expert Movers see this review. DO NOT USE EXPERT MOVERS THROUGH UHAUL MOVING HELP. You will be stranded on the day of your move.
How many terrible reviews will it take? I should have actually read reviews about MovingHelp rather than trying to find reviews on the "moving company" that I hired through this site. I thought I hired my moving help through Uhaul. It turns out that they redirect you to MovingHelp, which does not require the businesses it advertises to be licensed or even actual companies. I will not write the name of the company I hired, because I've already received angry text messages from him about my review that I posted on MovingHelp.com. However, I will say that our move was less than satisfactory. The two men who came were unprofessional and caused damage to not only our furniture, but the apartment we were leaving as well. We felt so uncomfortable with their service that we decided to unload the furniture at our new house ourselves and not risk any more damage. After I wrote my review and the owner contacted me, I reached out to MovingHelp. They told me that once the move is scheduled, its basically out of their hands. They are not responsible for any of the "companies" that are hired through their site. Any disputes are to be settled between me and the mover. The live chat person was extremely insensitive and spewed pre-written lines about how MovingHelp claims no responsibility. I'm appalled that Uhaul would partner with a company like this
STAY AWAY IF YOU DON'T WANT A HEART ATTACK ON YOUR MOVING DAY!
ITS A SHAME THIS COMPANY EXIST. MY EXPERIENCE WITH UHAUL AND THEIR RECOMMENDED MOVINGHELP WORKED HAND IN HAND TO MAKE MY MOVING THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. GOOD JOB, MR. JOE & TEAM!
So, me and my family have had numerous moving companies move us around here in Denver within the past three years and they've literally always sucked, so we tried moving helpers for the first time and we used a company called Enermost Matters Moving, and let me tell you that I can't speak for any of the other moving companies listed on moving helpers, but these guy's were absolutely amazing as they moved our four bedroom home into a U-Haul truck beautifully, and efficiently as well, and were so careful of our items and were polite and friendly as they even cleaned oil stains off of my garage floor on their hands and knees, but also took out all of our trash for us and were just the best to the point that I had to leave my first positive moving review ever, and so I absolutely recommend these guy's to anyone to move them as we will use them for every future move from now on. Thanks, Kathy M.
If you ever have a problem with the movers or your reservation, there is no one that will help. Once you pay them online they have no reps to help with any problems that may arise, be it on your end or the movers that you contracted out with. DO NOT USE THIS SITE unless it is to find the name of a mover and book them directly after doing a quick internet search for there phone number.
I booked a Uhaul truck for a long haul move from London Ontario Canada to Charlotte North Carolina. Not knowing anybody in the Charlotte area I made sure to book movers for when we got there. I assumed using a company affiliated with a large company such as Uhaul would be a safe choice. However I was wrong. The Uhaul move went great. But the moving help did not. We found out 4 hours before we arrived to Charlotte that somehow our reservation had been moved from Sunday to Thursday. Considering I only had the truck reserved until the Monday this made no sense to me. Why would the system just move the date without even notifying the customer. How is moving help booked on a day that the customer doesn't even have possession of the rental anymore. I contacted the moving company who was very friendly and tried to help as much as possible but he was unable to do the job on the Sunday. So I was forced to find another company last minute in a city that I am unfamiliar with at nearly double the cost.
DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS WEBSITE. Last week I booked 2 helpers from this website (company is called 5 star movers) and called to confirm the time and place like 3 times with them. On the day they never showed up and called them about 10 times and they never answered the phone and left me hanging and I had to move everything by myself. The next day they immediately cancelled my order so I cannot leave any bad review on their website. Dont waste your time here. Very bad service.
This review is for Centralia Relocation Service.
The movers were scheduled to arrive at 10am. When we contacted them, they said that movinghelp.com had deleted our appointment and the system has been acting up. I did find it a little strange that when we called, they said they were just looking into this. If our appointment had been deleted, how did they know to look into it? When we contacted them again to get an ETA, they told us they would arrive before 12pm. At 12:15, we texted them and asked if they had a new ETA. They told us it would be 2pm. Given that we've "rescheduled" twice, I can't say whether or not I believe they would have actually showed up. Because we had to move our washer and dryer and a few other items at 5pm, 2pm would not work for us. Unfortunately, we had to cancel and we have been left to find friends to help us move (and I've just had tendon surgery).
Known criminals for Grand Theft were sent to me and Stole all my valuables. One is still on probation for Grand Theft. Moving help did NOTHING. You can use their 'dispute resolution' service. Moving help doesn't even read it. If they had, they would see that the movers were lying. I gave a good review initially. They refused to allow me to edit it after I realized all of the damage to my things and the major theft by these movers. I then put in a second review and movinghelp.com deleted it. They don't care at all what happens to the person and the person's belongings. Period.
They do like the commission they receive from the 'movers' and continue to allow those movers to move others after stealing from me. I also asked them to investigate other incidents. Movinghelp.com stated, "MovingHelp.com is a neutral online venue and we cannot be involved in customer disputes. If the Company you hired refuses to pay you the money you feel you are entitled to, you do have the option to seek these funds legally."
Therefore, Movinghelp.com and Uhaul.com does nothing except collect money. Yet, they do become liable when they are aware that movers are criminals and they send them to other people.
This company is a joke. They make you pay upfront for a "Maybe" we can move you. You rent a truck from Uhaul and then you pay them for movers, who can't move you during the hours you have already reserved the truck for. You can't talk to an actual person, you have to email, and they don't read the email, they just reply with a default email. I have been waiting patiently for my refund and it has been over 5 business days. There was no service provided. GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK. I'm sure with the non-refundable $6.95 you charge each person who you don't provide service for is rip off enough. But you want to hold $200 of my hard earned money. WHAT A JOKE. I'm also convinced that any positive reviews come from YOUR COMPANY AND NOT ACTUAL CLIENTS.
