This company does not typically respond to reviews
I've used MovingHelp for 2 years and it's been great. It works like Priceline or Amazon and it connects me with the best and cheapest movers available. I personally recommend to filter the cheapest movers first and then find the company with a five star rating from more than 100 customers. I have never been disappointed.
U-Haul Moving Help Experience Feedback I had a negative experience with U-Haul Moving Help. I hired a moving company named RA Transport, owned by an individual named Ryan, through U-Haul's moving help service. We scheduled their services 17 days in advance, and they confirmed they would be there. We agreed on the job's timing, but communication issues arose as the moving day approached. The day before the scheduled move, we tried contacting them via text with no response. After calling them, we managed to confirm the move for the next day. However, on the day of the move, they failed to show up. Despite our attempts to reach them, our calls went unanswered and went straight to voicemail. Even after trying from another phone, we were unable to get through to them. It seemed like they had blocked us deliberately and did not respond to our text messages. I believe U-Haul should establish clear standards for service providers to prevent such disappointing experiences.
Really horrible company. I paid for 2 movers and only 1 showed up so I ended up helping to move everything myself. I even paid them extra for flights of stairs (that I carried my couch, tv, boxes up...) and tipped the one mover well because I assume the lack of organization and terrible service was not his fault. Malicke Cole should be ashamed as he has never answered a single phone call or email - do not use this awful company it's such a scam.
You are completely rolling the dice by using this pitiful excuse for a "service". My movers never showed up, customer service did absolutely nothing to help other than tell me I could cancel my order and find someone else, and then they took my fee to use their terrible service. The fact that they can get away with this is appalling.
Tip for consumers:
DON'T.
Moving help did arrange for two great mover teams to deliver and pack my U-boxes at my home and to deliver and unload them at my destination. However, I was disappointed by the bait-and-switch promise of a small "refund" when I left a review. No refund either time, and no response to several customer service emails. You cannot speak to anyone on the phone, either, which was important to me because U-Haul screwed up my order number. How do they earn their income - by just scheduling movers? Big deal. I could have done the same by finding someone on Angie's list. Won't use them again.
After the completion of the move, we noticed several valuables missing from bedroom dresser drawers. This was reported to the police and a case number has been established. I hired Less Stress Moving and Cleaning company. The owners, John Harbison and Karen Petty, showed little or no concern about the incident as they did not answer the phone or respond to calls or texts. There must be a better source for moving help!
Tip for consumers:
Monitor the moving helpers carefully and protect your valuables!

Called uhaul who then moved me over to these people, mentioned it'd be a 120$ move and credited my account 750$, then they go on saying that they'd fully refund me if anything was to come up, did so and they still owe me an extra 100$. Never even used their truck or services and then completely tried to screw me over any way they could, 0/10 avoid this company at all costs.
Veteran Movers stole my money because they never came to my home to do the job. I was contacted by Joe that verified all my information and asked for the payment code. They should have been there at 10am on 11/5/20 but they didn't show. Calls and texts were unanswered. Moving Help backs these thieves and won't hold them accountable.

I hired a moving company through Moving Help. The company (Veteran Movers) is a thieving company as well as liars.
Movers never showed up. They never called or text the day before. MovingHelp.com washes their hands of any responsibility with respect to what happens after you pay. They charge you upfront and it takes a long time to get your money back. Millers Honest Moving Company - they are great, fast and affordable.
Before booking I made sure they had a 24-hour in advance cancellation policy because my new apartment was not official yet. I ended up having to cancel the moving help and it was the most confusing, frustrating process where I had to call several times and create an online account and hunt down a code to read over the phone. A couple days after I had supposedly cancelled, sure enough my card was still charged. Now I'm trying to figure out how to get a refund. They claimed they were never paid, but my bank account says otherwise. Supposedly I will get my refund in 7-10 business days, but I could really use that $200. It's hard waiting for a refund on a charge that should have never happened.
As a moving professional for 20+ years, I signed up for movinghelp.com over a month ago as a service provider just to get a little extra work for some of my guys during the slower times of the month. I was told I would be reviewed and activated in 5 days. Well this is day 37. I have sent numerous emails to them and received 1 reply back. "We approve companies in the order they apply." Well, I advise anyone to use this service to stay away, there are other labor service sites available, you just need to look online. I was approved on another site in 4 days, and have already booked 7 jobs in the 4 days I've been live on the site. If you can't get anywhere with a company you're going to make money for, I'd stay away. Especially reading some of the customer reviews in the Dallas Metro Area. Nothing but trouble!
I regret using this service as the movers were very unprofessional. Also getting help from these people takes forever and a day! I have had to contact them multiple times to get the refundable fee and every time I have had to wait at least 20-30 mins. I'm on the phone waiting to speak with someone now because they still haven't sent the refundable fee and I've been on hold for over 33 mins! This is ridiculous and why i decided to do this review! I was considering using them again in couple of weeks but don't want to go thru this experience again. I will be looking at other options. I suggest anyone considering using them do the same.

I used this site to find movers. They were absolutely terrible and halfway through the day, I found out the man i hired to move my stuff and drive my U-haul truck did not even have a driver's license. Apparently MovingHelp.com does not provide even the most basic vetting of people who offer services on their site. Stay away from this company, do your own research and hire people by word of mouth. My moving experience was terrible and at some point I thought I might have a stroke. Please spare yourself the stress and frustration.
The movers have ZERO vetting. You want stoned, hung-over, sketchy as hell people in and around your home? Seeing everything you own? Knowing their way around? You are literally better off renting a van, going underneath the nearest inner city bridge, and scooping up a bunch of drug addicts to do the work. It would be cheaper, and at least you get to pick your own addicts. Movinghelp.com is completely awful. They need to be shut down.
I booked a moving company through this company, who merely acts as a go-between and offers no support or service of its own. You're better off finding random movers on Craigslist. Their movers are completely unaccountable for anything they break, and in my case, caused over $300 worth of damage to my items. I attempted to contact the moving company, who started ignoring my calls. So, I filed a dispute through MovingHelp, which was never responded to and simply marked as "unresolved". I was then told that was all I could do - the moving company and MovingHelp didn't have to respond to me at all. I have filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau and am considering small claims court, simply because these people should not be allowed to get away with screwing customers.
Tip for consumers:
Tip? Don't use them.
Highly disappointed that we engaged people through this site and they don't stand behind the people. We used: Professional Movers based on the ratings. Not only did they try to blame us for damage but they responded with Thank you for feedback. We packed the majority of the boxes and they came to do the furniture scheduled for 3 hours are took 5 and only finished because I moved everything to the main floor myself. The people who unpacked did a good job but likely caused some of the damage as well. The owner said he would show up and didn't.
We scheduled these movers for 1 pm and already paid for it, got a phone call that said they were running late they would be here in an hour and a half and they still haven't showed up 4 hours later and guess what nobody will answer the phone at their place of business now
I booked a mover via movinghelp.com as they had very good rating. The movers(elite moving services) never showed up and the only way to contact moving help.com is via messaging which will get disconnected every 5 minutes.
Movinghelp didn't do anything to resolve the situation and help out.
I highly recommend everyone to STAY AWAY
MovingHelp is trying to be the Uber of moving help. However, they fall very short on what really matters, customer service and customer experience. When you have a problem with your movers, the only thing MovingHelp does is send an "urgent" email to your designated movers. As I experienced, their "urgent" email did absolutely nothing. My movers still didn't show up. Ultimately I had to cancel with the selected movers and reschedule with another one, costing me and my family 2 nights in a hotel, plus food. MovingHelp excuses themselves by saying it is not them, it is the movers. They take no accountability in being your service provider nor do they issue any penalty when movers fail to show up. Frankly, I'm surprised U-Haul supports this company since this company was advertised by U-Haul. Again, I think this leaves a poor image for U-Haul as well since I booked everything there. If you are listening U-Haul, your reputation is being tarnished by such poor service.
MovingHelp had the worst service ever. The two goons showed up and damaged my piano, scratched the hardwood floors, and when I tried to get it resolved through MovingHelp resolution, they strung me on for weeks and then claimed that my complaint had been resolved. I never got one call or email from anyone to see the damage and even try to resolve it. MovingHelp are a bunch of crooks and conmen. Avoid them at all costs!
Scheduled a loading company through U Haul's website. Will never do that again. The loading company is Do It All Movers, Urbana, IL. Cheapest prices BUT as I found out I got nothing except utter dismay. Scheduled to load cubes for move to OK they were nearly 1 hour late and got lost. 2 guys in a pickup showed up and sat in the truck on their phones. I paid for 3 guys got 2 who wanted to argue what I reserved. At this point the "owner" told me they were leaving AND did. Called U Haul's # for hours until I got through and was told using their website was a courtesy for Movinghelp.com and promptly transferred me. I had to spend the rest of the day rescheduling loaders, hotels, freight co.
If you value your belong do not use Richards and Son's in Woodbridge Va. The Movers stole two high price items and when called several time the did not return my phone call. Just spend the extra money and hire a professional moving company and save yourself a headache. Cheap is not always better.
Movers contacted us 2 hours before the scheduled time and said they can't make it (some funny excuse that all cars of the three movers broke down), leaving us high and dry without help. Had to find local help at home depot as we had to move that day. MovingHelp had no intension to help us and just stated that they are not responsible for the movers. Now, almost two months later we still didn't get our money back. STAY AWAY.
Tip for consumers:
Stay away, they will let you down

Save yourself a headache. Purchased service from this company. They charged me in advance. I confirmed with the assigned movers. Day of the move they did not show up or answer calls or text. Customer support (HA, HA) does not recognize my account or that they booked the service even though they charged us for it and sent a confirmation number.
Find a reputable local mover and don't mess with this unorganized, unprofessional operation.

Hired a company thru moving help and will never do that again. I get no answer from either party about any of the damages they did to my furniture, and the movers didn't finish the job. Next time I move I'll call someone direct, forget the middleman, and pay less in labor. Both parties were a rip-off and will never recommend to anyone.
Movinghelp.com is nothing more than a middleman for a transaction process. The movers on this site are not screened, do not have to be insured, licensed, or have any type of background check performed. You get very sketchy people come and help you move, and often have no real moving skills at all. Movers will pressure you into giving them "5 stars" on the movinghelp.com review site, and will pressure you to submit review while they are still with you. Also, movinghelp does not guarantee anything between you and your movers. If something goes wrong and you are in disagreement with your movers, basically your screwed. Do yourself a favor and get real movers and skip guys who arrive to make quick cash, treat your stuff like garbage, and smell of weed.
Tip for consumers:
There are no requirements for being listed as “movers” on movinghelp.com website. The movers are not screened, not background checked, etc. Also, if you have issues with movers it is up to you to resolve it with movers. And don’t be fooled by the review ratings for specific “movers” on movinghelp.com website. I have been highly pressured to complete movers reviews as “5 star” while they waited for me to do it in their presence as it is “how we get new business”.

The reviews on their website are ONLY for those who do not have to cancel an order. My movers didn't respond to my phone calls, texts or emails and then never showed up at the scheduled time. So I cannot write a review on their website. So here I am.
Avoid this company.
