My prints were printed and shipped within 24 hours of ordering and arrived two days after shipping. I was very impressed by how well-packaged everything was - it is obvious that a lot of care goes into the packaging to ensure that your prints arrive undamaged (all prints arrived in perfect condition, sent flat on cardboard backing and organized by print size, with the prints inside plastic sleeves, and packaged in a way to keep the prints from becoming mobile and getting damaged). I ordered a variety of print sizes, some quite large for wall display, and they all look fantastic. Very impressed with this company all-around. I will be ordering from them again in the near future.
I ordered my son's high school graduation open house invites with mpix. I previously ordered his Senior photos from mpix at the recommendation of the photographer. They cropped my son's head off if one of photos on the invite, which is not how it appeared when ordered obviously. The best they could do was to offer me 60% off of me placing another order. Seriously?! Will never use or recommend!
Ordered hundreds of dollars in wall pictures. Unhappy with product. MPix on website advertises 100% customer satisfaction but it's at your additional cost. Company will not speak over phone only chat or email. I used this company in 2019 and was totally satisfied with the product. Today I would rate it a "0" with total dissatisfaction!
It is required that Mpix must save your credit card information before you can place an order. It does not seem necessary and why would I want them to save all of this information. I'll try someplace else.
We placed an order confidently, based on positive reviews. However, our enlargements arrived: cropped too large (requiring us to crop further), poor quality, and with parts of image cut off, despite our care with preview image/proof. We made sure all images were within the gray border, etc.
Mpix customer service was uncaring and made it a hassle. We sent pictures to mpix of the issues but were instructed to mail photos back and only offered a partial refund. Forget it! Lesson learned.
See photos. The two seemingly same photos are provided to show the one with proper image and the one from mpix with a chin cut off. Also posting poor quality (our images were high res) enlargements of a wedding party/groomsmen, and 2 photos with edges sticking out beyond the glass of frames (requiring us to trim them).
I don't understand how anyone could give this site anything less than 5 stars; the quality of my prints were astounding, and their customer service was even better. There was a mistake in my order (from MY end - I blame mom brain) and they were quick, professional, and most importantly KIND while helping me resolve the issue. Can not recommend this site enough!
I ordered a book at there were problems with the binding/wrinkled pages. Customer service was AMAZING. They sent me a new book the very next day (that arrived in less than 48 hours of my complaint) and it is perfect. This is a great guestbook option for those not wanting to spend hundreds.
Poor quality. There is no real place to leave a review. They claim they will send you a review form weeks after your order. Their site provides their own reviews not customers. The quality is very poor for Giclee Print. Giclée prints are supposed to be on 100% cotton paper or a minimum of card stock paper. The print I received was cheap, flimsy, regular printer paper that curls up. The image was grainy and gray with no clarity. I suspect these are run through a machine in an out of a large factory with different names.
Recieved horrible, grainy prints and put under the hassle of sending them back to get a refund. The shipping barcode they sent hasn't worked with FedEx and I'm still stuck with worthless prints and out $54.00. I hope customer service will do something.
I very rarely if ever write a review on a product but I feel so emphatically taken advantage of with this product. The photo book I made was of such poor quality that it's an embarrassment (as I gave it as a gift) it cost me $70.00 and honestly it looks like it maybe cost $10 at the most. The quality of the paper, the print quality of the photos and the resolution is some of the worst I've seen. I have made many books in the past of trips to various countries and they have always been so spectacular (my publisher was the company that has since gone out of business) but it was such a treat to receive their finished product
These books are GARBAGE!' I can't say it emphatically enough. A total rip off and I'm shocked they are a business. When I complained they just ignored me. DO NOT ORDER from here. I spent over $140 for two paper 10x10 small books
This is my first review ever. I had to give 5 stars to Mpix for their superior quality. The picture quality was first rate and the instructions and details to arranging photos was surprisingly easy. I recommend this to everyone I know.
I have had a very difficult time working with the Mpix site to create a photo album. So I tried their chat support and three different support associates couldn't explain how to use their site. I watched a YouTube video they sent me a link for, but I couldn't follow it because it only explained how to use their most expensive premium selections.
After about 4 hours, I finally was able to put together an album, but I will never use this site again. This was my second time ordering from them and I could not duplicate the first order. I think the site was designed by Russian torturers. Having said that, the finished product I ordered several months ago was good, it's just not worth the hassle to create a photo book. Try another company to make a photo book.
I sent two rolls of 35mm in to be processed, one Portra and the other an Ilford C41 B&W, both shot with different cameras that I know were good. I was attracted to a lower price than I paid locally. The Portra scans were strange because some images had red or green lines through them. The Ilford came out all upside down, and in sepia: when I asked Mpix they first said they don't do B&W, then I explained c41, they said film was old. I'm a bit skeptical of the quality as a consequence. Fortunately the films didn't actually have any thing important.
They shipped the pictures out quickly, and the photo paper is excellent quality, but most of the pictures I ordered are of no use. They are dance pictures of my daughter, and they cropped her head, hands, and feet out of several of the prints even though none of the images were uploaded and ordered that way. What good is a picture of a dancer if their feet aren't in it, or their hand is clipped out of it? There were other poor quality issues in addition to this. The issues were not resolved nor made right, and it was nothing short of a big waste of my time even bothering.
I messed up my order very badly and I used the Live chat and talked with someone there. They not only were patient in walking me through the steps to fix my photos but they also went to my cart, cropped all 40 of my photos for me and had them shipped back out for free! Just amazing and I will only use Mpix for all my future orders. Thank you Tim! A+
Mpix only stores your photos for about 8 weeks before they delete them. They send you one message warning of this and if nothing is ordered then all photos are gone. After having spent many hours uploading photos in anticipation of making a photo book (and not seeing warning as it looked like the other advertising messages they send), I found this quite maddening. It is also very difficult to change the order of the photos in the 'albums' and they don't offer many options for styles of their photos books: mostly fabric covered with paper covers (that are easily damaged). Not a fan. Going back to Snapfish.
I ordered 20 prints to "test" the quality before sending the other 100+ to them. Half have yellow tinge to them. I checked my originals - no yellow tint. I tried to discuss this with customer service, but the rep who responded to my email acted like he didn't have a clue. I do not recommend this service. There is no phone number and the company doesn't even put their name on their mailer or packing slip. Because of this, I suspect mpix just takes the order and has some type of clearinghouse actually print the orders and mail them out. I doubt mpix has their own lab. This is why the quality and review vary so much.
I ordered pics from them from a wedding. I used a cannon camera and the shots were clear and beautiful. The prints that mpix sent me were dull, out of focus, no true blacks, and the color was off - my blue house looked grey. I wrote to customer service (they have no phone number to call) and they NEVER responded. Don't waste your money or memories.
My cell phone photos came out looking like professional photos. The quality is amazing, with fantastic colors and crispness. Photos are very sturdily packaged (not rolled, but sent flat in a box). Surprisingly, each time I've ordered I've received my photos three days later. When I accidentally ordered the wrong size photo, I contacted customer service to ask if I could return the photo and pay the difference for the next largest size. Instead, they offered to let me keep the photo and then sent me a coupon code for 50% off the size I wanted. That photo arrived in three days as well. I can't recommend enough!
The photo I ordered printed blurry, and was not shipped as promised. When I contacted customer support both representatives, asking to be refunded for the extra money I paid to ship it in one business day when it in fact took four, they were demeaning and nasty. The head of customer service actually asked me if I work in a business, then told me that I should know that a business's top priority is to make money. Will never use them again, knowing that if I am not satisfied in the future they will not be helpful.
Answer: The pictures I had developed her professionally taken and I couldn't be happier with the quality. They turned out beautifully. And I got 4x6 all the way to 12x16 developed.
