“Coke Lack of Rewards”

William s.
6/22/17

Coke went from providing hundreds of products for points to a Las Vegas Gamble on which you can't even play the game you want. Just like all those who wrote reviews before me, totally agree what a joke. You turn in points for the chance of wining something versus turning in points and actually getting something (at a healthy exchange in their favor). Very disappointed having been using a rewards member since 2006. But I am done. Hope the money they think they will save costs them dearly...

Why does the price f the coke keep going up then? I don't win and already paying for the prizes. What a joke! My time is more valuable than this! I can get paid $20 a week for not doing this! Annoying

The new mycokerewards was created to reduce the expenses of the old program and to pretend to offer us participants an alternative. The alternative is so bad that few of us will participate so that Coke can eliminate for lack of interest at some future date. The old mycokerewards was fun while it lasted

I have a jar full of caps and labels that I can't use to win any sweepstakes b/c Coke has NONE listed! Instead, they want you to donate to all these diff charities. Of course, its nice to do an I do that on occasion but more then ever, during a darn pandemic, it would be nice to be able to have some hope you might win something. But they instead want people who have no job to donate and took all the sweeps away? Coke this
Is a BIG disappointment and I will no longer purchase coke if another option is on a better sale b/c the points aren't worth it.

I would give ZERO stars if I could. I agree with everyone else. New Mycokerewards is terrible. The old program was better and i was able to redeem stuff. It was also inspirational to buy coke products. The only good thing is now i don't buy it anymore and if i happen to get coke code i use it for donation (which i am not sure if they even donate).

New Coke rewards system is nothing but a lottery. Most "prizes" have about the same chances of winning as the lottery. Goodbye Coke... hello generic. The old rewards program was the only reason I bought the overpriced Coke products!

I used to do coke rewards, would get hats lunchbox, movie tickets, not bad, worth the time of punching in all the codes form each bottle cap. HOWEVER,,, since the pandemic all you can get is donations on behalf of CocaCola. I think donating to a worthy cause is awesome, but I would rather do it on my own! I will not be sitting there with bottlecap rewards for this! Coke stop giving lousy rewards, you make enough money! Make it worth your customers time to earn real rewards!

I was not sent a promised Visa gift card. Upon writing this review, Coke has made good on the gift card. I don't have it yet, though. I have redeemed the gift card at this point. If I didn't complain, would I have received in September the card I was promised in April? I don't think so.
By now I did get the gift card. I had to really keep after them. I suggest you do too.

I won a $10.00 gift card on March madness. I still haven't received it. They sent a ship notification by Fed Ex. When I checked, they said the ship notification was an error, I should get my gift card in 10 weeks. I still have not gotten it. They have not responded to me. I think there are no winners in these "contests". I may be reporting them

I am so disappointed with the new Coke rewards. I don't understand how it works. I don't even bother saving the Coke lids any more. After several years participating I am through. I will give Pepsi my business.

Really? I have been involved/Invested in the Coke Rewards Program since its beginning in 2006. This is what your Marketing Departmernt came up with? I feel that it would have gone a lot smoother if you would have just cancelled the program instead of recreating a new program that has Zero touch with the Consumer.

Since the company knows the problems and the complaints, it obviously has decided to ignore the issues from consumers. It's a free market and they have the absolute right to structure it as they please (however, terrible) and consumers have the free will/ right to boycott Coke products. It's a shame Coke does not take ownership and just tell customers... "we have decided to end the rewards program".

The old Coke Rewards program was so much better as you actually were able to use the points for rewards. Now, you can still enter points, but it's for sweepstakes entries and things like that. I and my family and friends have bought so many coke products because of the incentive of the program, but now the new program has killed that. Bring the old program back... please!

I was not happy when they changed the first MCR program and I wrote to tell them. Now they've done it again. And I wrote them again today. My family will no longer be buying Coke. I'm glad though, we drink way too much as it is. So, thanks coke, you were the final catalyst to end this relationship that I wanted to end but couldn't. When I want to drink a soda, a Pepsi will do.

I've been doing coke rewards for years now and the new program is absolutely terrible. The "rewards" aren't even rewards. The majority of the time its sweepstakes. The chances of actually winning one of them are very low. I wish they would bring back the old program.

I have been a member for over 10 years and won a lot of things. The last 2 years I have won nothing. Now none of the caps are good. I have e-mailed them many times and finally they sent me a few replacements. What a joke.

I have never won a prize and I am unable to scan codes. I am able to manually enter the codes. I am trying to win a mere Coca Cola bear and our household goes through at least a 12 pk of Coke daily so one would think after 3 months of entering codes one would win a mere Coca Cola bear but no, it is impossible.

It's like they forgot how changing the recipe of Coke to the NEW COKE wasn't a complete and utter failure. Another misstep by management with no pulse on the customer. Nothing of value in the new program. First the fake Twitter and Facebook likes to get "status" crap, now limited options to burn points for a snowballs chance in hell at winning a sweepstakes and opportunities to donate points to charities... for contributions Coke would make anyway. I'm OUT.

Twice recently I get a notice (upper right of page) that I have a won a gift card on the instant win and to click to redeem. When I click it it just brings me back to the entry page to enter again. So frustrating. This is for the current $25 Target gift card and the last was Mcdonalds gift card. If I try to contact them I get a robo response so I am not going to bother this time. I have been a loyal rewards member for many years. But I think I am over it. Coke we deserve better.

The new program is supposed to be "easier, more fun, and more convenient". What?
The new program has nothing to offer. Just discontinue the program as it's not worth the time to enter codes. The old program was very good while the new program is a joke.

The team of braln-challenged techies who created your new site and format should be doomed to drink warn, flat Pepsi! It takes forever to load -- IF you can get it to load. I don't "Facebook." I don't "Twitter." I resent to be forced to endure your stupid puerile tactics and your time-wasting processes in order to enter points. Get back to basics! Stop aggravating the loyal customers who keep you in business! (Yes--I'm using too many exaggeration marks
But there aren't enough available to emphasize your beyond-dumb revisions. NO STARS FOR YOU! But I guess I have to give you one just to send this

Tip for consumers:
PREPARE TO BE AGGRAVATED. GET AN RX FOR DIAZAPAM. YOU'LL NEED IT!

My daughter has been saving coke tops for a loooong time because she loved to save the points and get prizes in the mail! However, I thought the program was bad when we were only allowed to enter a certain amount of points a week. NOW... She doesnt want to enter any sweepstakes for a "chance to win". She also is not purchasing any magazine subscriptions. Bring back the old system! The only reason this is getting any stars is because it will not allow me to enter this without any.

I was willing to squint to try and see the rewards code (although it made me curse every time) for a possible chance to win, POSSIBLY, a $2 Amazon gift card! A WHOLE $2! But now I'm redirected to a page where I must scan a label for who knows what reason, then the page hangs and hangs and hangs. Coca Cola's refusal to offer a diet beverage without aspartame and this garbage "rewards" system should be a warning to potential investors. The marketing department at Coke is completely tone deaf to its customers.

One of the latest prizes is an old Coke machine. Seriously? Did Coke raid a junkyard? With my luck, I'd win it.

Then there are free Cokes to be obtained from convenience stores that aren't in my area.

Sweepstakes? Never mind the low chances of winning. It seems that Coke is doing a Publishers Clearinghouse impression. My chances might be good since few probably enter.

How about the gift cards entrants can win (but never do)?

I agree with all those who hate the new rewards program. I have little more to add - -just that it sux. Coke, supposedly, you listened to your customers. None of them have left praising comments on this forum. I haven't seen any evidence of anyone suggesting such a farce. You'd be better off not having a rewards program than to exhibit the cheapskate direction toward which you've evolved.

I was going to order more magazines this month and am told that I'm maxed out... for two months straight. If you can't/won't handle the volume, please hang it up.

Very disappointed with new program I had it set up years ago and used to get lunch bags for the kids with pointes and coolers and real items with the money we spend on coke products, then they took all that out and started with little things and movie tickes etc, & other not so important but better than now. Now it sucks you can use your points unles you donate them for charity or school or one amazon card or 2... lot lots of code & money wasted for nothing, they now want you info on phone and scan scan and scan... nope thanks after over 10years i'm out. Whoever came with his new idea sucks even try to donate to my son middle school and high school my points not to go waste and it goes to pre-k program that should be already free and government funded... Really?
