Coke went from providing hundreds of products for points to a Las Vegas Gamble on which you can't even play the game you want. Just like all those who wrote reviews before me, totally agree what a joke. You turn in points for the chance of wining something versus turning in points and actually getting something (at a healthy exchange in their favor). Very disappointed having been using a rewards member since 2006. But I am done. Hope the money they think they will save costs them dearly...
Why does the price f the coke keep going up then? I don't win and already paying for the prizes. What a joke! My time is more valuable than this! I can get paid $20 a week for not doing this! Annoying
"waste of time", " not worth the effort", "what were they thinking". I can't add much to that, the program really stinks. I may go to grad school now that I have so much free time. I've rediscovered RC cola and need to buy some Moon Pies, life is good.
My Coke Rewards is long on hype but leaves me with a bad taste. The codes are difficult to read even with my best flashlight and magnifier. Maybe this promotion is better suited to teenagers with 20/20 vision. Many of the prizes require so many points that you will most likely never be able to enter enough codes to get anything worthwhile. For example, a Bluetooth bracelet costs 1400 points or the equivalent of 466 two-liter bottles of your favorite soft drink. A Coca-Cola tee-shirt requires the equivalent of 183 two-liter bottles. To make matters worse, there is a maximum number of bottle caps that can be entered each week. But if you don't enter any bottle caps over an extended period of time, you will lose the points that you have been awarded up until that point, meaning that you will have to start all over again. Really, Coca-Cola Co? Is this how you reward customer loyalty? You can do better.
Corporate greed. This program is about saving money for Coke not making it worth consumer's time. Poorly thought up program. No rewards for loyal customer base. New Coke rewards has the taste of a warm Pepsi left in the Florida sun! Ewwwww!
Loved the old program where you could save your points for real GOOD prizes, but not now! Who wants to enter a sweepstakes for something you would not save your points to purchase! I thought it was bad when they put a limit on the number of points you could enter each week but that would be great to do that now! I tried to enter points for my favorite school and it told me I was not authorized, what gives?
Who in there right mind would put a program out on the market that alienates its customers. Either end the points program or bring back the old one. This is just like a big company that just does not care
Worst reward program. I used my remaining points from the old program to use them up on the few remaining rewards they had left. One was for a Shutterfly 8x10 notebook. Come to find out that I can't claim it unless I purchase something! Total rip-off! Whoever thought this new program up is a real idiot!
Stupidest change to a rewards campaign I have ever seen. Basically what coke has done is changed the rewards program into a social crap rewards site with an attempt to sell you gear. What they are telling us is they don't want our business, so that is what I have done, not given them my business since. Where once I sought out coke products to get points, I have now gone back to Pepsi products by drinking Auquafina bottled water and Mountain Dew. How can you have a rewards program for so long and think a not-so-subtle change won't have an impact to your bottom line and perceptions of your brand. Idiots!
I have always thought that a rewards program was to reward the customer. Well, not with this new rewards thing that you now have. Can't save points for FREE stuff. That is what we all want. FREE STUFF not a chance to win. Please, Please go back to the old way of doing things and you will make so many of us Coke customers happier.
Coke new program is a scam, it is not worth the effort or time to put into it and I guess they have lost another customer until they decide to bring back old program, or perhaps they are tired of having loyal customers?
Worst rewards program out there! Why even bother Coke? This isn't a reward program but a joke. Can't use any of the codes I saved and am very disappointed. Wondering if I should save them until Coke realizes that their program isn't a reward at all.
Her school did not get the check?
Coke stated some Boy's or Girl's club gets the money if the school does not cash the check! Coke never called or E - Mailed about this. I should have been notified?
Note: Check and make sure your school is getting the " MONEY " This took me weeks to find this out? Coke Co. Was very slow in informing me of this.

Customers used to be able to buy products and enter products and be "rewarded" with gifts cards, movie tickets, etc for their efforts. You could also enter and bank your points for future "rewards". Wow! This program has gone way downhill. I won't be wasting my time saving the points or checking the site anymore. Not what I expect from a program that has been so great in the past.
The new rewards program is just garbage. I used to just always buy coke no matter what. Now I only buy it if it is a good bit cheaper than pepsi. So they save a little money on a very good rewards program and then have to cut their prices to keep market share. Awful idea!
There are no incentives to save your Coca-Cola codes, none at all because all your points no go to Charities on the official Coca-Cola website. I don't mind there being an option for giving all your hard-earned points to charity but how about an option to earn free stuff? It's not much to ask that a multi-billion dollar organization that knows to give its consumers of their products type 2 diabetes a chance for some cool swag. Please fire the guy that changed your site for the worse.
Tip for consumers:
Just throw away your Official code.

This additional information is a waste of time for most of the products being reviewed. It's Coca-Cola a soda company so cola that I reviewed.
We were mainly a Pepsi product family but slowly changed to a primarily Coca-Cola drinking family as we had fun earning and spending points. Our family consists of three households: parents, an adult son and his family, and an adult daughter and her family. We have held competitions between the households to save and earn rewards. We used the old rewards site as a way to teach the value of saving to our children. We've even collectively saved points and redeemed for "door prizes" for family get-togethers. Today, we logged in the new site and are devastated at how little value the Coca-Cola Company has placed upon its loyal customer base. We agree with several posters here who are expressing their displeasure on Coca-Cola's social media sites.
The new coke rewards program is such a waste of time and effort. What a joke Why even have a rewards program that has such an extremely low chance of winning anything. They might as well just have the prize "not a winner" on the inside of the bottle it was the cap. Or if their goal is to advertise 7-eleven and then just put the coupon in the cap.
I agree with complaints seen on new Coke Rewards. It seems like Coke screwed up and would be better off admitting they didn't fund rewards program and needs to re-evaluate. Hard to see them poor endless funds into advertising and they treat captive customers like fools with the "better rewards program". I couldn't even get into old site in April-May-June before end of promotion on Safari or Internet Explorer and called into support line and guy who answered agreed but couldn't help me. Someone at Coke needs to survey the most active old program users and get their feedback (I would expect it would be overwhelming negative).
Coke must be the only company to run a promotion and then go out of their way to piss off their customers. There are no real rewards, only slim chances to "win". They have caps that are impossible to read (most of the Green ones), and if you try to guess what the code is you are likely to use up your chances to enter if you guess wrong. Most of the rewards are lame, things like a free popcorn or drink at a movie (where you would have to buy a ticket to get your "freebie"), or a chance to win a whole $2 gift certificate. Some of the entries can only be made with a cell phone so if you don't have one you are out of luck. Also they limit the number of entries for several items.
If you enjoy mindlessly entering letters and numbers with no return for your time, you would love this program.
Put the site back the way it was! There was no need what-so-ever to bring some BS social media crap into the mix. You've hurt yourself more than anything, lost MANY customers, and FAILED! I'm sure you have a fail board somewhere, this needs to be at the top! We didn't need all this with the status and social media... neither did coke. Coke was just fine. Now you done went and f**ked it all up! Change it back!
Used to pay more for Coca-cola to get the rewards. Now they just have a frustrating app, a frustrating website, and nothing to offer. No rewards, just a bunch of useless "games" that aren't fun, videos that are ads, and horrible links that take you in circles. Does anyone at Coca-Cola understand marketing principles? Lesson 1 - Try to NOT piss off your customers. Lesson 2 - Do not call advertisements "rewards," people are smarter than that. Lesson 3 - If the competition is cheaper and just as good as you are, you will lose business UNLESS you have something worthy to offer. In summary, store brand soda and Pepsi are my new favorites, thanks for making that decision so easy Coke Rewards!
The new coke rewards site is horrible and a major step back in friendliness to consumers. I have been doing this for many years and my family drinks a LOT of coke products. Now, the new system essentially ignores that loyalty and forces you to become part of it's marketing to gain rewards. I have a balance of over ******* points - hey coke don't you think I might be a loyal customer and deserve better than bronze status?! In addition, the website does not work well at all. Crashes frequently and does not accurately track points. Finally, the weekly limit of 75 points is too low, particularly since I now have a stack of caps I could not enter when the system was transitioning and not working. I am thinking about bagging coke products all together and going to pepsi due to how bad they have screwed this system up. Coke, you have some work to do.
Why are you not listening to all the negative reviews you are getting on your revamped program? This program has gone from "not so good" to " bad" to " absolutely horrible" and the management of CocaCola has completely forgotten the generation that grew up in the 1950's and 1960's who have stayed loyal to the Coke brand all these years... now we have to put up with this Twitter and Facebook nonsense and rewards which are rather insulting. Are you brain dead or secretly working for Pepsi?
New Code Reward program is complete garbage. I have been a very long time Code product consumer but after this change I am seriously thinking about switching to Pepsi products. Bring back the old program. This new program stinks. There is absolutely NO value there
Not a question, but a complaint. I have entered codes for well over ten years. I formerly could get some good things with a lot of points, but now whatever good stuff is on the site is only available in a sweepstakes in which the odds of winning are not disclosed. Smells like a scam.
