Cheap and easy to found a god price in have a god experience
I booked my flight from Budapest to Vientiane, Laos. I have a lot of stuff and would like to pay for one more extra luggage but unfortunately, mytrip.com said it's impossible to add extra luggage.

MyTrip would charge me $59 per ticket for canceling a flight within 24hr after booking even though the airline does not charge any penalty. They should clearly indicate the policy about canceling within 24hr. Even the customer service I talked to on the phone admits that this is not fair but nothing she could do, it is their policy. I tried to save a few bucks and ended up paying $59, it is not worth it. I am not sure this is the same for other online platforms but I am only going to book directly through airlines from now on.

Every click brings up a new screen trying to sell you some option, most of them things you'd assume airlines would do anyway, such as provide help if something went wrong.

Answer: NO! They won't provide any service, unless you pay a penalty. Even if you need assistance for a situation that is outside your responsibility. This is really the type of sales an marketing organizations that ads nothing, just takes commissions and turns away when they need to deliver. Stay away!
