Scam Company

This company is defrauding customers by charging for luggage on your flights, then only applying it on the outward bound journey of your trip. So, the customer is left having to pay excess baggage on the return flight while Mytrip pockets your fees. This has happened to at least two people i know. Don't bother trying to get a refund, as they will keep you running around in circles. Avoid this company and pay a little more for a reputable company.

Incompetent amateurs

My flight date was changed by the flight company, so I had to buy new ticket since I couldn't take that original flight after change in dates. Due to the change from their side I have fully right to request a refund. Unfortunately tickets were bought through these "Mytrip Amateurs " so I can ask for refund directly, but I have to ask Mytrip to do it for me for a ridiculous price of 30£ per ticket. The worst part is that I have been trying to contact Mytrip and request refund since 31. 5. 2022, today is 17. 7. 2022. I have sent them at least 20 emails and tried to called them several times. I always end up in calling que on the 200+ waiting list. Do not never ever book anything through Mytrip. Save yourself money, time and stress.

Finally got the full refund
October 3, 2023

After canceling a booking due to an airline schedule change, I expected a smoother refund process by relying on Mytrip.com rather than contacting the airline directly. However, I was disappointed when, despite multiple communications with Mytrip.com, the issue remained unresolved, and only a fraction of the original amount was refunded.

Frustrated, I took matters into my own hands and contacted the airline directly. To my surprise, it was revealed that the airline had made an error, leading them to promptly issue a full refund. Mytrip.com then swiftly returned the funds to me.

While I appreciate the ultimate resolution, this experience highlighted a need for improvement in Mytrip.com's customer service. The ability to advocate for customers and efficiently handle refunds on their behalf would significantly enhance the overall experience.

Total fraud.

Click the price on a flight search and when it gets to their website the price jumps few dozen dollars, then you get a "flex" ticket and the price jumps again. Booked the ticket, and 2 DAYS after booking I'm sitting waiting in line for the chat or a phone call for 1 hour they say I have to pay round 600 euros to change the dates for "airline fees", when their website says I can "change any departure day anytime you want up to 24 hours for the flight". My flight is in 2 months.

I booked a London to Delhi flight through my trip (Air India). I cancelled one of the passengers before 20 days. I called customer care multiple times but always same ans they dont know. When I emailed them, they said they are yet to receive refund from Air India. When I send them proof that Air India already refunded 2 months back, they just keep saying they are still yet to receive news from support team! My hard earned money is gone and these idiots kept repeating the same thing! NEVER EVER use them!

I booked a flight with British airways which they cancelled. British airways advised me to contact Mytrip for refund. They don't have a customer service line as the number for their contact centre will never be answered. That means you loose your money once you purchased something from us. They are intentionally set up to NOT answer customer help request, so they keep your money. DO NOT USE MYTRIP. Skyscanner must block these scammers!

If I could leave 0 as a rating I would. They are a terrible company with very poor customer services, difficult to get hold of. They cancelled my flights in February, just days before my travelling date, leaving me no choice but to pay again to go and visit my sick relative. They claim the Airline has to refund, and the Airline has confirmed they have nothing to do with refund. Still waiting for it since February. Again, my advise, do not book via MyTrip. You will simply regret it! Pamela

One of the worst website to book ticket ever! I need to change the date for my ticket, I have to email them 3 times, each time took 4 to 5 days to answer. When you ring them, they charge you $3 per minute and still NOTHING sorted. All they can do is direct you to another phone number or basically said: "This is not my problem anymore, go away". I spent over 2 weeks trying to change a god damn ticket! Don't ever book with this website! Horrible customers service! Waste of my time

FRAUD SITE
March 29, 2022

Two days before the plane departure, this people informed that there was cancelled the plane. DONT TRUST to buy in this website.

They sell seats that dont have, cancel flights without having a proper care of your timeframes and schedules. My family quit their jobs for taking this trip and visit me, we trusted this tickets.

The tickets were purchased 5 months before, every month was a new call from us asking for the status of the flight. Last week before the plane departure this people stop picking up calls and give no information.

Two days before the plane departure they send an email cancelling the flight, when try to contact them they dont pick up the phone.

FRAUD SITE!

How can they can still exist in the UK and US?! I spent £1800 with them for 3 multi city flights, mytrip got one name wrong, I have been dealing with this for the whole 4 days! Mytrip didn't help at all. I wrote 10 emails and the each phone calls was queuing for 35 - 75 positions! There was no way I can talked to them. In the end, I had have to called 3 airlines and spent about 7 hours in total, and you can imaging how hard this... Never use mytrip again!

I was deceived out of 600€, they neglected to check me in for my inbound flight despite my additional payment for assistance. Furthermore, they treated me disrespectfully during a phone call and their call center proved to be incompetent with no English-speaking staff. They also completely mishandled my return flight, forcing me to purchase another ticket. This amounts to blatant theft, and I am currently preparing an official complaint report while also considering legal action.

They are scum

My sincerest advice is that you never book with MyTrip. I read plenty of bad reviews prior to booking my trip, but unfortunately I did not take the advice and I strongly regret it now. Long story short, this is my experience:

My flights got cancelled by the airline. As it is a top class airline (Emirates), they refunded the passengers immediately. In my case however, I haven't received anything after 2 months of persecuting Mytrip to process it. Every now and then they tell me they will do it within the following weeks, but it never happens. If you request proof that they are still pending the money from the airline they won't facilitate it.

Contracting the Customer Service either by phone or email is a nightmare. Unfriendly Indians at the other side of the line, with bad manners and very little willingness (nor capability) to help.

I have spent so many hours fighting to get my money back and I have got nothing but disappointment and very bad manners.

I booked from this site and needs to cancel with in 24 hours of booking due to the family emergency. These charging $36 per ticket which is almost 25% of my ticket price also support is horrible. Waited in the phone line for 30 min to get the support person and the support guys doesn't have any respected and so rude with the customers. Please don't book from this site.

Flight Refund

They don't even deserve a zero rating for the service they provide. I have been waiting since 8 months for my refund, they haven't still initiated my refund when airlines has confirmed I'm eligible for full refund. Mytrip is the biggest scam, customer representative says I'll have to disconnect the call cause I cannot resolve it and you've to unfortunately wait. Biggest lesson learnt always book tickets directly from the airline websites.

Scammers

Purchased a flight and insurance through mytrip and was given an open ticket to use within the year. Tried for weeks to reschedule the trip, I've been hung up on multiple times while on hold, or they claim to put in the new ticket and say they will contact me back and never do. This is a complete scam, I am now having to take legal action to get my money back.

Terrible system and service provided were totally scripted to ideal scenarios and did not cater for deviations which is why most people sit on the phone for 45 minutes and call to speak to an operator. I called three times and spoke to at least 7 people and ended paying to resolve an airline change that should not have incurred any cost to me. Also have called the airline to confirm zero cost change possible had to go through booking agent. Can safely say that will never use this website/ service again.

Scammers and robbers

Worst customer service experience. Nobody takes you seriously. You talk to different people every time so nobody knows what's going on. They removed one of our flights and it took me weeks to get it back. Just to get to the airport and be told that we don't have valid tickets. Airline reissued the tickets on a different flight and we bought additional flights for our onward journey. Airline again was helpful and fixed the mistake and reissued our old tickets so we could at least get the money from the newly purchased flights back. Do not book with them. They make mistakes and don't take responsibility! Never got a refund or an apology. Most frustrating and scary experience ever. Also, GoToGate, MyTrip and Etraveli are the same company so don't use any of them.

Horrible service!

If I could I would rate it 0! Bought a flexible ticket, tried to add changes 3 days before my flight, no one from customer service did anything to help me! They haven't even replied! Its a scam and a joke of a company. Don't use it!

Never ever get anything from them.
It's the most horrible travel company I have ever come across in my time with both online and offline similar services. And I travel twice a month at least. They are a scam. The customer service is incredibly crap. For over 8 months now, I am trying to get refund for a refundable ticket for a flight which was cancelled by the airline! They keep footballing me (when actually I managed to get in touch with Mytrip!) between their customer service and that of the Airlines, and finally many expensive telephone bills and ruined nerves later, when all was done, I am still waiting for the actual refund over 6 months now...
