I have purchase from Newegg many times in the past, they always have interesting deals and a large selection of products. I have never had any issues with anything purchased from them, everything arrived promptly and was exactly as described. I have no regrets and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for electronics and electronic supplies.
OMG, This was the worst experience in a long time online shopping. I bought a digital photo frame that came totally unusable. It flipped like an old broken tv. It took 2 months to go through the return and repair process. I finally got a replacement. It was scratched up and boxed like like it was junk. It was purchased for a gift and totally ruined the holiday. If I wanted junk I would have bought on Craigs List. I paid for something quality and New! Thats the last time I buy from NewEgg or its partners.
I got my computer less than two months ago. No warranty from Newegg and they don't let you know that. The computer came with that problem because when I turned on took a little longer. I had to press the bottom for a few seconds and then started until it just didnt. I though I would be fine because it was just two months with me. For my surprise I called them and no warranty from them and the manufacturer. It's unbelievable. I paid $4,000 for a piece of crap.

I am probably the most critical reviewer on this site and have never given over several stars to any business reviewed yet. Newegg is the exception. I build the latest and greatest systems and shop around for the absolute best prices on the internet. If I find a better price on another site, Newegg has always been able to match it. When I receive a defective product from the many suppliers on Newegg, their customer service department has always been there to resolve any and all problems. If I have paid more for an item on Newegg than is on sale a week later, they have credited the difference in the form of a gift card. If you absolutely love standing in long lines and the worst customer service, then shop at Frey's or Best Buy and pay the sales tax also for the privilege. For the best prices and customer service, Newegg has been my favorite for approximately 15 years since CompUsa closed down in my area.

Avoid buying on newegg. It's very likely that you'll lose your package, and their customer service does nothing helpful to find your missing package. They will waste your time with useless responses and there are no way of responding to their decisions once they process (most likely deny) your claims. With incompetent service like this you'll understand why so many people report missing packages with newegg - delivery companies are allowed to make mistakes and the customers are left to bear the consequence.

Everything was fine until usps lost my package. The customer service was robotic copy and paste and they are asking me to wait 15 business days or more for a refund. The crazy thing is, that its been 17 business days and they keep telling me to wait. If they wish to deliver a package via fed ex to a post office two miles up the street and then usps lose it and say it was delivered, then its their problem. They should have a small inexpensive tracker in package that costs 2 cent and they should either locate it or refund me on the spot. Using usps is so backward and not good business.
Might not be the cheapest, but I don`t have anything bad to say about the company. If you are looking for computer parts just make sure to compare prices from Newegg, NCIX, tigerdirect, and canada computers. These places I would say I trust. Have purchased from all and other than pricing they are pretty close in all other aspects.
I have been using Newegg for computer parts and electronics for the past year and a half and I LOVE them. They always have competitive prices, the best selection and I never had a problem with their customer service.
I bought a wireless router from them, it didn't work properly, created the return with free shipping label and sent the item... 3 days after they received my broken one, I had a brand new one!
I know all you pessimists are going to say "it took them 3 days after they received yours" Ok, 1. They have to make sure that you didn't modify it and break it yourself, 2. That is normal shipping time, 3. Go complain somewhere else.
I trust these people more than eBay, you're lucky to get anything that works correctly, and most of them do not offer returns.
At this point I've tried to email the sellers of said items and i'm not sure whether i should expect a response or not, but i haven't gotten one. I received one of the items i ordered in a matter of days, after the seller contacted me for accurate shipping information.
I've done my part, in terms of trying to resolve this issue. I'm trying to contact customer service, to no avail.
This live chat thing is useless.
I probably won't bother with newegg again.

Placed an order on 1 October 2020. Newegg provided tracking number however until this day the tracking number they provided when check only shows that a shipping label was created, nothing else. By this time at least it should in transit but is not. Also the type of tracking number provided show that the product is sent from China? If I Knew that the item was coming from China I would have never placed the order. Bad way of doing business. Never again.

Their payment review process does not seem to be honest. They claim that they contact my bank to verify I'm the correct purchaser and said it was denied. My bank never received a call nor is that even possible. Ordered it off Amazon and I suggest you do the same.

We ordered hover boards the beginning of December for Christmas for my two sons and have yet to get them now on jan 2. This was there main gift and we keep getting no answer as to when we will receive the hover boards. Emailed several times! Never again I'll use this site

I ordered a graphics card on August 26. It was shipped on August 27. After waiting in the cargo, it was returned to the sender on September 2 and the sender received it on September 7. In my first conversation with the customer representative, they said that your money will be sent when the product is returned. I'm still waiting since then. Despite contacting the customer representative many times, the money still has not been refunded. They tell me to wait a little longer every time I meet. They're distracting me. They say that the cargo did not reach them, but I verified that the cargo company delivered it. They do not refund my money without giving any reason. I paid for it and I didn't receive the product and now I can't get my money back.

So here is the resolution I received: (1) They admit that the shipping information on their website is inaccurate. (2) They admit they didn't try to deliver the TV anywhere near on time. (3) If I no longer want the TV trying to be delivered a month later, I must pay all the shipping charges.
Absolutely ZERO customer service. I'm really shocked. There are some very good reputable online retailers out there, I'm never doing business with Newegg again.
I ordered a TV from Newegg.com on 2/8. My invoice said delivery in 5 to 7 days. After 2 weeks and no TV, I contacted the trucking company. They told me that the TV wouldn't be delivered for at least another week. At that point I told the trucking company to return the TV. I contacted Newegg and they told me that I actually bought the TV from their marketplace seller and that they couldn't help me. The seller, IElectrica.com took almost a week to get back to me, and basically threatened me that if I didn't accept the TV shipment they would charge me for all the shipping charges. To make matters worse, I tried to leave a negative review for IElectrica.com and it looks like Newegg.com moderates the reviews and didn't post it. I've shopped on Newegg for years, I never knew they didn't stand behind what they sell on their website.
I've since filed a complaint with the BBB. That seemed to have done nothing. The person who responded was a customer service rep and she basically gave the same line " would love to help, but, what can we do...":
I guess I'm just going to keep looking for places on the internet to tell my story in hope that someone reads this before doing business with Newegg's marketplace (sellers other than Newegg).
I use this site all the time whenever I buy computer parts. I very rarely have any issues with my orders, but when I do they are quick to fix it. Its a really good site for PC building. I highly recommend it.
I placed an order (#*******) on 4/11/20 and never received it. The seller, yes they use third party sellers, kept making sarcastic excuses. I made a claim under their Newegg Marketplace Guarantee Claim on 4/23 and was promised a refund within 2 business days. It's now 5/6/20 and NOTHING from Newegg. They kept my money and are now ignoring my emails and calls. They have not been responded to for a week now. I would strongly recommend NOT ordering from Newegg unless you want to throw your money away.

A totally unbelievable and inept online credit card verification system. Once an order is placed, about a day or two later, they cancel the order because of "verification " issue. No explanation of what the issue is, and when you call (after waiting in the lengthy call queue), they say the have to send a note to the verification department, who then, magically says (in an email later in the day) that everything is now ok, (and no info was changed from the online order). They then make you go online and start the whole purchase system over again. I tried to order one item twice and the same thing happened both times, and in the end, i just gave up and ordered the part from Amazon. I wonder how much business they are loosing with their complete incompetence in dealing with credit card verification?

Pros: Quick about shipping merchandise and getting it to you. Reliable. Good return policy. Customer service is usually good. Ads online are more accurate than Amazon so wrong items are sold and shipped. What you see is what you get.
Cons: Often more expensive than other online stores. They usually ship small items in a box that is much too large for the item. Selection of software is not as large as some other online stores.
Answer: The reason why i gave a bad review was because i ordered a phone for my wife, An I-phone 5 and NewEgg.com only sent a box with the manual and a charger for the phone. I called NewEgg.com and explained to them and they stated i needed to wait while they investigate, they never got back to me so i called them again. The person i talked to put me on hold then came back to me and stated she was checking this what was going on and kept putting me on hold for a total of 45 minutes to only come back and tell me that i need to send them a picture of the box and contents. I have no clue what my wife or children did with the box now i am screwed. 219.00 down the drain. This was the first and last purchase i will make until the get this straight.
