Highly recommended for computer parts and electronics in general. Much wider selection than Best Buy, and better service than Fry's. Very quick standard shipping, usually arriving within 3 days. I've even purchased a few refurbished items, all of which continue to work.

“Canceled order - No communication”

Placed an order on NEWEGG, they billed my credit card and without any notice they canceled my order 7 days later. I only found out after I went to my PayPal account and saw it was canceled. I will never buy from them again. They also allow resellers on their site so you never know if the merchandise is legit or new. Buyer beware...

Terrible customer service. They have no desire to fix the issue they created.
I ordered a product for my business and paid $20 extra for 2 day Exress Shipping in order to finish my project for work on time. The order delivered 8 days later. And they have no intentions of reimbursing my shipping charge.
Terrible Terrible Terrible Online company.
I will go with what I know... I will stick to my Amazon Prime thanks!
And will NEVER use Newegg again.

I ordered some products on Cyber Monday. The check out said two business days delivery with shop runner. Verified the ShopRunner account and all good. Paid my order. Got email where announces the shipping method is Shipping Super Eggsaver (4-7 bus. Days) and the estimated to Ship Out On 11/27/2018 by the end of Day.
11/28 by the end of the day no shipping. Tried to use the chat and I was number 1040 in the queue.
Called the support. The automatic system advertised a 15 min wait.
After 55 min I got someone on the call. When I asked about the shipping issue, they said that they are busy and is nothing they can do.
I said that they advertised that they could deliver it in 2 days.
The technician hangs up on me.
I will never do business with this company.

New egg was great when it was JUST new egg. Now with 3rd party vendors, the service has went WAY down. IF you want another choice, try Micro Center. Better customer service and they have really good prices. Stay away from new egg.

Purchased 2 IPhones for my kids. Both were supposed to be 16GB, but my daughters was an 8GB. Next, after 70 days my sons reset or stopped working, ITunes and Verizon said its the phone that needs a repair. NewEgg pretty much said 'Sorry, only 30 day guarantee. So much for 'We hope you had a good experience and we will try to help you out'. I would never buy from them again, unless you want to get a phone every 30 days.No support whatsoever!

Bought a laptop from them, the camera was defective, tried every trick in the book to fix it, nothing worked so I returned it. Got promised I wouldn't be charged for the return fee, so I sent it back. They got it and then lied and claimed that a factory reset fixed it. I tried that multiple times and it didn't work so I know they're lying to me and stealing over $260 from me.

Tip for consumers:
NEVER BUY FROM THEM!!! THEY WILL SCAM YOU OUT OF ALL YOUR MONEY!!!!

I ordered a part from Newegg that went to the wrong address (not my fault) When i contacted them they told me it was sold by a different company even though the receipt shows Newegg and all correspondence is with Newegg. Bottom line i now have to chase the 3rd party down to resolve the issue since Newegg says it is not their issue.

NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE CROOKS. I ordered over $3000 in goods from them. 3 of the items were defective. One $800 hard drive I ordered had a piece of the box missing when I returned it. They would not refund my money. They couldn't resell it anyway. They simply act as though the matter was settled by sending me robotic emails that the problem was resolved and sent me back the item. I now have an $800 paperweight. The same thing happened with two other items. NEVER order from these people. They are totally unethical.

When I first started working on computers, bought some things from them, they had pretty fast service, and their prices maybe a lttle cheaper than stapples, if you couldn't get what you wanted at one, you could get it at the other

My wife and I bought a MSI computer for our business. The computer was defective as the HDMI, USB and other ports did not work. After numerous conversations and several emails with different people, including a Supervisor, Max Rivera, they refused to accept our return, even though we returned the laptop before the 30 days period.

Since we have all the proper documentation, including email, chats transcripts, and proof of mailing, we are on the process of filling a complain with the Attorney General and taking the proper legal actions against this company.

Save yourself the trouble, and do not buy anything from this company!

I ordered a treadmill. It came with the hardware but the holes were not drilled for parts at all. They said I could return it and will give me a label. I send it to fed ex and they say this is no such label. Reach back to them and they say they will refund me half the money if I can keep the treadmill. Umm what? Then said we will offer you $30 that's it. Ummm worst place ever. They said they don't want to be without the money.

Finally, on 9/17, my package was shipped! It arrived on 9/19. The box looks like the UPS elephant sat on it! I am waiting for Newegg to send me a RMA information for return of the unopened package. No, I do not recommend Newegg.

New egg is cracked and broken

I ordered on 8/27/2020, they sent an email my order was being processed.
On 8/28, they said it was shipped and will be delivered on 9/2?
On 8/30, it shows it is still waiting for pick up by the UPS, but the UPS is waiting for a shipping label.
On 8/31, new egg has it in transit, but their website says it is waiting for pickup?
On 9/1, it is still at new egg warehouse.
On 9/2, the order is still in the warehouse, but the tracking shows it in transit. And ups says it is waiting for a label and the usps says it is waiting for ups to pick it up?
It was supposed to be delivered today, but is still in Indiana.
Me thinks new egg is cracked after falling down and is waiting to be put back together again.
Oh, and I can't cancel the order, because they charged my CC on 8/27, and can't stop the order because the order was shipped, but is still in the warehouse.
Say good bye new egg, you are a yoke...

Unfortunately you can not trust their sales events. The prices will fluctuate and you can never truly know if you are getting the best deal. You can purchase something one day and the next day during the SAME sale, it will be $40 or $80 bucks cheaper. If it was a different sale, or if I bought it when there wasn't a sale and then there was; that's all a different story, but doing it during the same sale without any notice of prices fluctuating is unacceptable. They would not credit me the difference and made me jump through hoops to return the product.

NewEgg, wow. They lost my $1000 package and then wouldn't replace it or give credit for it, since they said it was over $500. They gave me the run around, said I had to deal with the police (when the F****** package was delivered to someone else ("Carrier/NewEgg issue") not a police matter) Now I am out $1000. Their customer support team is total trash, accusing and blatantly disrespectful, (when you can actually get ahold of them.) Their products are good, but so are Amazons, which is where I'm taking all of my high priced business from now on. Only thing that would change this review is for them to replace what THEY lost, so don't message me NewEgg unless you're going to replace it.

I bought and paid for a drone bag. It was on its way until it got to the city I live in and the seller requested it to be returned, I don't know why, it was paid for. Now Newegg won't refund my money and I can't contact them. Total ripoff and they stole my money. Never buy from this sleazy company that steals from their customers.

I purchased an apple laptop for almost $1000 on this site. The one they sent was not the one pictured. It didn't work. When I contacted the company they told me too bad, take it to Apple and have them service it. Apple wouldn't service it because it was too old (8 years). I am out $1,000 for nothing.

A lot of people are saying this website is a scam, but it's really not. The reason for my 3 star is I ordered some RAM from them and it came in bubble wrap. I was a little confused about this, but put it in my PC anyways. About 3 months later it breaks, but Kingston was very nice about replacing my RAM. I'm starting to wonder if they gave me a refurbished stick of RAM because the one I got from Kingston was in a package. Overall it wasn't that big of a deal, just kind of weird.

This is the second time, this has happened...:"order now and get in 2 days" or whatever, only to have to wait weeks or more and get the midnight "sorry but we don't have it" email. This happened to me for a laptop bag and a pre-order for Lego Star Wars the Skywalker Saga. I mean, the laptop bag was annoying, but if you advertise that something is a pre-order, go through the process of taking my payment method, I EXPECT my order to be fulfilled. If the pre-order quota is full, then don't advertise that you're selling it. It's NOT THAT HARD. I did try contacting customer service... MULTIPLE TIMES. Big waste of my time. They told me 10 days after release that the item is in pre-order. WTF? Don't just lead customers on in thinking they will actually RECEIVE the item.
##### I will NEVER order anything from Newegg again. NEVER. #####

Go somewhere else.

Shopping at Newegg was a nightmare. Bought a refurb laptop, but it arrived with a different hard drive than advertised. It was an absolute nightmare to return it. Called immediately to return it, ready to ship back to them in perfect condition. They insisted on store credit instead of real refund.

It took like 10 calls and tons of emails to finally get my actual money back. I had to use Google Cache to prove that they had advertised a different hard drive a few days earlier. I lucked out, without a screenshot of their product page, I would have been screwed. Compare this experience to Amazon returns, and well... this is why Amazon is winning and stores like Newegg are losing.

They sold me a refurbished monitor as a open box customer return.
Invoice *******. I notified them and got an RMA, but demanded my shipping and no restock fee. They have not notifed me. I think they are unethical and also committed fraud by not stating it was refurbished. After carefully reading all open box definitions, I found a defintion from several they had on their website that has an incomplete sentence stating "Refurbishment is done by the manufacturer" under FAQ for Open Box. In all the body of text in the website, no other reference to refurbished is stated. They pawned off a refurbished monitor as a new open box, plain and simple. 12/22/2010. My order number was ******* and my name is Truman L. Woodall.

I purchased a refurbed gaming PC for my sons birthday and after only 3 months of use the computers power board failed. I realize that the PC only came with a 30 day warranty and that this was a refurb but I would have expected the computer to last longer then 3 months and Newegg provide better post sales support. For post sales support the help desk provided the incorrect diagnosis of it being a power supply failure and suggested I fix on my own when I brought to a PC repair shop they confirmed it was the a power board failure which cost $265 to fix vs. a $25 power supply. When I contacted Newegg directly they said they would follow up with the manufacturer but I never heard back from them. If I could have rated Newegg no stars I would have.

Tip for consumers:
Don't buy a product from them the quality and service are horrible.

I had a very frustrating experience buying a monitor from newegg.com. I'd purchased a samsung 24" monitor and when I received it, the power cord did not fit the monitor. I thought it might be a problem with the cord, so asked if newegg.com could send me another power cord. They couldn't do that but asked me to buy from another dealer and credit me the amount. I did that but the new cord still did not fit. I returned the whole thing to newegg.com but they deducted the cost of the new power cord. Now, I have a useless power cord, paid extra and still have no monitor. I will not buy fro newegg.com again. It's a big gamble purchasing anything from them.

I purchased a stereo last april 2020. I never received the sterio they took the money right away no tracking it was the first time in 8 years I saved to buy this item then they said I got the sterio wich I did not I gave up with the run around I got I'm out 280.00 still bugs me enjoy the money..

I ordered about $2500 worth of computer parts to build my own computer. After a lot of troubleshooting, I figured out that the problem was my motherboard, which was about $200, when I tried get a replacement, they said that I "can not return this order." This made me pretty upset, so I tried to write a review as a cautionary tale to anyone else trying to buy that motherboard, but because I wrote that I had a negative experience with Newegg, they wouldn't upload the product review. I eventually wrote down a watered down version of my review, but it hardly what it should have been.
All in all, a computer parts vendor that won't replace faulty product isn't worth using, I will never use them again.

Tip for consumers:
Use another vendor, If you are building a computer many of the parts can be defective and you want to have a source that will actually take returns.

My son was building himself a computer and researched and purchased all the components. Once he assembled the computer, it didn't work. We had to get diagnostics done by an IT specialist, who said the motherboard we purchased from NewEgg was faulty. They refused to refund because it had been more than 15 days, despite the fact they sold us a NON-WORKING PART. No way of knowing within the 15 days, because the other components hadn't arrived to assemble the computer. This is basically robbery.
