Highly recommended for computer parts and electronics in general. Much wider selection than Best Buy, and better service than Fry's. Very quick standard shipping, usually arriving within 3 days. I've even purchased a few refurbished items, all of which continue to work.
Placed an order on NEWEGG, they billed my credit card and without any notice they canceled my order 7 days later. I only found out after I went to my PayPal account and saw it was canceled. I will never buy from them again. They also allow resellers on their site so you never know if the merchandise is legit or new. Buyer beware...
The benchmark in pricing. I come to Newegg first to compare prices to other retailers. Newegg is usually 90% better than Best Buy or other retailers. I've spent over $10k at this store over the years, and I recommend it to everyone.
I ordered a product on on 12/29/2014 from Newegg. 24 hours later I get an email that says "We regret to inform you that your order has been canceled by the market place seller." Really? It takes 24 hours to realize you can't fulfill an order from your supplier? It was now too late to get it overnighted from Amazon or anyone else and I didn't get what I needed by New Year's Eve as I needed to. You won't get my business again.

If you would like to get your order in a timely manner or at all STAY AWAY! I paid to have my order delivered overnight but becuase of the numerous order confirmation steps (phone calls etc.) you have to go through my order won't be delivered until 4 days after the date it said it would be delievered. I paid for overnight delivery and was on top of getting back to Newegg with information as to no slow the process down.
I shop almost exceulsively online for everything these days and this was hands down the worst experience I had. I now need to return the item becuase it didn't arrive in time... I can only imagine the headache I'm about to go through.

Do not order from Newegg. You will just end up wasting your time. I placed an order in August only to have the order cancelled on 8/30 because the shipping address did not match my billing address. How do they survive as a business? Don't they have customers who ship gifts to others? I called Customer Service on 8/31 and resolved the issue. They offered to pay half of the expedited shipping fee. I agreed and the product was supposed to be expedited and processed the next day. It's 2 weeks later and I still do not have product. I called today to check on the status to find that the order was cancelled on 9/1. We never received any notification of the order cancellation. Now, they indicated that they've fixed the billing issue and can process the order for the 3rd time but the product is now no longer available and is on backorder. THanks for nothing NewEgg.

They do not honor tax exemption certificates as they should. Every time I shop I have to upload a new one and they still charge tax. This time they refused to refund the tax and provided a partial refund for a return. My last order had to be returned because the projector lamp ordered did not work. Shady shady shady.

I order screen for my hp stream computer from this company, they send me not working screen, as soon as i put the screen in it did not work,(just showing me some vertical lines) so I try to contact them by phone, did not work (nobody will answer) then by the Email, nobody answer again, I try on chat... that did not do anything either) and that goes on for a days, So I think for this many years that I been buying things trough Internet I have never ever seen something like that.

I finally got my order after a month of waiting. I ordered memory for an older laptop. They apparently sent me what they felt like sending me instead of the CORRECT PARTS! I will never do business with these clowns again and suggest you take heed and go somewhere else for your purchases. The parts I ordered from THEIR SITE were the parts listed as "Crucial" The parts they decided to send me were Samsung and they were completely wrong. Wrong physical size, wrong pins, wrong memory. WRONG WRONG WRONG! They didn't even try! After waiting an entire month. Of course you cannot call them and I have contacted them twice through their website but I they have not responded! These people SUCK!

I did it again, I made the mistake of ordering something from a company that has terrible reviews. Many years ago I did business with Newegg so I thought I would try it again. I purchased 2 sticks of cheap memory back on December 12 2022. Delivery was slated for December 20th to January 9. I thought certainly it would not take till Jan 9 to get it but I still have not gotten it yet and it is Jan 4. I didn't read the reviews... MY FAULT! They are mostly terrible reviews regarding late on no deliveries at all, broken parts or the wrong parts. I will certainly remember to NEVER do business with Newegg in the future. I checked Amazon but the parts were a few dollars more. A few bucks more is worth it if you get the part in a matter of a couple of days and not a friggin month! So here is my message to Newegg: GO SUCK AN EGG!

I ordered a Motherboard for my new Gaming PC, the only other part that was currently still being delivered was the CPU (Which was arriving tomorrow). It said it was delivered, but I checked the front door, nothing. I even checked 4 of the surrounding Apartment complexes to see if it was accidently delivered to them, nothing.
Now, I'll mainly put this on UPS and their stupid delivery system. But Newegg's Agent was very helpful and understanding compared to UPS. Who put me through a loop twice before being able to actually submit a Missing Package problem.
I'll rate this a 5 Star Review once my Motherboard actually arrives, and I'm able to start putting together my PC.

Ordered 2 items under a bundled special. I received one of the items and was informed that the other item was returned by the shipper under an RMA. I can only assume that it was damaged by the shipper. Since these items work together, I returned the one item I received. I was charged a $21 restocking fee which Newegg reimbursed.

I ordered an item then after a while I saw that nothing is happening with my order and I reached out to the customer support. The person who helped me told me that he would just cancel the order because he couldn't figure out what was happening with it and he told me to order the item again with "the next day delivery" and he would give me money back for shipping and he would cancel the first order. So I paid twice and he didn't cancel the first order. I got both items and spent 2+ hours talking to customer support trying to figure out to return it. And spent my time returning it!

I placed an order for a hard drive on 9/18/15 as part of a larger order. The drive arrived in a New egg Box in a bubble bag. It was not in the factory packaging and did not work from the start. I was given an RMA number and returned the drive stating that it did not work from the moment I received it. I had another person with me to verify this. They returned this to me stating I was to contact the drive manufacturer. The device did not work from receipt and it appears that they are trying to push off on the manufacturer problems that they should address.

I purchased parts for my new computer this past week and only received 1 of the three parts expected. When I called, I was told that my order was canceled because I used the word "Unit" instead of a "#" sign when identifying the location of my condo (something that I have done numerous times and have never before had an order rejected). In the two days between the cancellation and the order, the price had changed and they refused to honor the original price, letting me know that they could only offer a courtesy rebate. The rebate was a fraction of the amount I would have saved with my original order and would have required me to call back in, spending another 40 minutes on hold to receive. I opted to spend the additional $20 with a competitor, costing them a $400 sale. I won't be using newegg again. There are plenty of places to by quality parts.

I bought a laptop from Newegg because they offered the best price. As a result, I got a fairly good amount of Newegg points. I spent the points in buying ink cartridges from one of the sellers in Newegg. Newegg points were not enough, so I paid additional 13 dollars. The item was never received. I requested redelivery. The item was not received again. The seller just gave me the tracking number and did nothing further. I sent them a request again, but the seller refused to deliver the item again. I contacted Newegg for further assistance. They just forwarded my claim to the seller! The answer was of course the same and my claim was declined and closed. What on earth is the role of Newegg if they just forward my message to the seller? I just lost my newegg points (which is fine, because I will never use the shop again) and my 13 dollars. Terrible customer service. Use Amazon.

Anyway, I puchase a new core i7 intel, 2.2 ghz, super fast for my PC, i need it to run some new creative software I am learning. Absolutely the best service, shipped next day and was to my by the end of the week for some great break in time for the new programs. Can't recommend enough!
This is a very good store in case you are wondering. I would not say that it ishte best though It still has soe negative aspects and one of them is the response time. I would liek it better if they responded a bit faster than theuy did to my requests. The delivery was also not the best in the market. THey can do better.
They sell counterfeit giftcards and then have horrible customer service which takes HOURS to accomplish essentially nothing. Customer service is rude and extremely slow to get anything done or respond. Sat for 15 waiting for a supervisor, supervisor Vin was very rude and unhelpful. A bad company ten years ago and a worse company now. They failed completely to get back to me through email as promised and they still dally and give me the run around. I will likely have to do a chargeback. STAY AWAY FROM NEWEGG, it is the worst customer service I've had in decades. Supervisor Vin was extremely rude and refused to give me HIS boss when asked.

Do not buy this laptop or any other laptop from newegg. I recently purchased this laptop from Newegg, and received it a couple of days later. The problem is this laptop burnt out on the first game i played on it. It deleted partitions and completely screwed up computer. I tried to just purchase a new windows 8 because i didnt want to go thru the problems of returning it and having to wait a long time.
Long story short the computer was completely defective and NEWEGG refuses to refund me and now i am stuck with this piece of junk that i have to file a dispute with my credit card company to get back. (I have been a newegg customer for years and never had have a problem) But this has turned me away from purchasing ANYTHING from newegg and i would highly suggest going to a different provider

I have been using this site for years to build my own personal computers. Do some research, gather a list of items you would like to buy and newegg probably has it. I've never had any issues with shipping or delivery.
It is not the cheapest option out there for buying computer parts, cell phones, etc. but it may be one of the most convenient.
REASONS TO USE:

[2] Site has been around for years
REASONS TO LOSE:
[1] Slightly hectic design
I purchased an Acer computer that didn't work.
Working for the military overseas, I had to pay an additional $30 for shipping THROUGH THE US MAIL.
When the product didn't work, I was responsible for paying an additional $35 to ship back.
That's $65 in shipping costs for a broken computer.
What a scam. After over 9 years of being a steady customer, I'm done.
I can't believe that I'm saying that Tiger Direct has better customer service.

I purchased a Hard Drive from Newegg on 7 September, the drive arrives 8 days later DOA. I requested a replacement drive. Newegg then issues a return shipping label using ground service again. Instead of shipping out a new drive once it is confirmed that the shipper had it, they wail until they receive the defective to ship out the new replacement drive. Then Instead of expediting the replacement drive using a faster shipping service they send it out using ground service again. The replacement drive arriving on October 1. Over three weeks to wait for a part to be able to fix a computer for a client, no way I can sustain my business this way. On top of that the drive is advertised and sold with a 5 year warranty, but the manufacturer WDC will not honor the 5 year warranty since the drive is classified as a OEM drive. False advertisement all the way Newegg.

Nightmare! As an owner of a business I have ordered many thousands of dollars from Newegg. Up until now, the equipment worked. I ordered 3 machines, all at the same time in June 2014. The same day I received them, I realized one of the machines did not turn on. The machine was never used. Newegg told me to ship the computer to ASUS. I did. Then heard nothing. Had tracking number in hand, they confirmed I sent it. Again this is a brand new machine. I have called over and over. I AM SUPPOSEDLY A PREMIER CUSTOMER, WHAT A JOKE. The call was escalated to Supervisor named Thomas, then another Supervisor named Gabriel, both told me they would look into where my brand new machine was. Never a call back, and every time "I" called them back they had know idea who I was. I have bought many thousands of dollars worth of equipment for my company, Newegg does not care who you are. DO NOT BUY FROM NEWEGG! WORST EVER. As of this writing I still do not have my machine back.
