Highly recommended for computer parts and electronics in general. Much wider selection than Best Buy, and better service than Fry's. Very quick standard shipping, usually arriving within 3 days. I've even purchased a few refurbished items, all of which continue to work.
Placed an order on NEWEGG, they billed my credit card and without any notice they canceled my order 7 days later. I only found out after I went to my PayPal account and saw it was canceled. I will never buy from them again. They also allow resellers on their site so you never know if the merchandise is legit or new. Buyer beware...
I bought a laptop from their site and it had so many problems over the time I had it that I eventually took my computer in to get it checked out. Basically I was told whoever put the computer together didn't seem like they put it together right which is why screws kept falling out even though it was fairly new. Also they sold me a laptop with a severed wifi cord piece and the cost of replacing it would be the same as me buying a new laptop. Couldn't be more angry that I spent $600 on a laptop that could barely last a year and of course I didn't get it checked out until after the warranty was up.
So sunday i ordered parts to build a new computer i went with newegg because they had next day shipping placed the order got conformation it would arrive tuesday my order shows up missing the motherboard and video card those are arriving saturday i called customer service up and asked why their website didnt let you know that not all items would be sent next day i paid for it to be next day if i would have known that i would have went amazon and gotten it wednesday at this rate i will have to go buy them local today just so i can get back up and running ande customer service was totally useless
The prices are good, but there ARE issues. It seems that the website doesn't post negative reviews about products that they want to unload. I bought a Seagate freetheater+ and was very disappointed and left a review to warn others before purchase. Newegg then put them on sale, dumped their stock, and deactivated the item. I wonder if they do this ALL the time?
My account claims my item has shipped a week ago, yet my tracking number wasn't ever made active and the shipping carrier never received the item. I called Newegg for a refund, they said it was issued yet I didn't receive confirmation and I still have yet to see my money. I strongly recommend not shopping here due to shady shipping and billing practices.

As they have grown and added many many more products I have purchased a wide variety of items with the best service and price ever. You can trust Newegg! I purchased my laptop from them for school. My only complaint is that the packaging was awful. When the UPS man tell you to report the packaging you know it must be bad. Thankfully the computer was unharmed.
I ordered something on Newegg and they wrote saying they needed verification of info. I called and gave it to them, but they still didn't manage to verify the info with my credit card company, so they simply cancelled the order and never told me, not only that they blocked the account. When I realized my order was not delivered I called to find out why--the same problem--no verification. I personally connected them to my credit card company and they still couldn't manage the verification, simply, of my address and phone number. I have outstanding credit and have never had such a problem in my life. I stayed on the phone with them for quite some time, finally gave up, and ordered the item from Amazon, which I should have done in the first place.

So I used to love newegg. But today I had it with them. I created a cart worth approximately $9K from 6 different vendors because they have good prices. I placed the order with my credit card and BAM the bank calls me. They say there were 6 different charging attempts from 6 different companies so they block my account until I talk to bank's customer service supervisor. After I clear everything with the bank. BAM Neweggs user interface forces me to recharge 6 different orders.
Why would you charge a credit card 6 different times and expect any bank to clear it right away. Why cant they charge the car in one sum amount so the bank doesn't flag the transaction. And declines it. It cost me approximately 3 hours of going back and forward between newegg and the bank to complete the order. I am definitely not considering using newegg again. This whole experience should have been way smoother.
Tip for consumers:
I would definitely avoid newegg from now on unlees I have no ther choice.
Twice in the past few months I've had a marketplace seller cancel my order 3 days after it was placed. Both times they claimed the order was "out of stock". I suspect that they have no stock at all and try to place an order somewhere else to fulfill orders, if they can't, then they cancel.
I tried to place feedback for the merchant, but was unable to because Newegg doesn't allow feedback if the purchase wasn't completed, so there's no way to warn other buyers. I opened a chat session with customer support, but the service rep just reiterated the policy of not allowing merchant reviews if the purchase wasn't completed.
I used to be a dedicated Newegg customer, but am unlikely to return as a customer.

This company is a nightmare. I ordered a refurbished GE X600 digital camera from them and the wrong color was wrong, there was one part missing, and the LCD screen was damaged. I had asked for a replacement, but after several days they decided they don't have any more of that camera, so they sent me a refund. But they're so stupid they screwed that up too and didn't issue a refund for the extended warranty I got with it. It will be a miracle if they actually refund a single penny. This company should be out of business.
I've been a newegg customer for years. Customer service has really dropped the ball and have lost touch of what they are there for. I will nolonger recommend newegg or shop there due to the lack of respect that they have developed towards their customers. It seems like the bigger they get, the less they care. So long, Newegg!
This site charged my card $199.99 when I never placed an order with them. I called them to cancel it and they said they shipped it and to file a dispute with my bank which I did. They didn't verify the billing cardholder at all.
I purchased a refurbished macbook pro, plus the warranty, which came to over 1000. 00. I have had to send it back to them or there warranty provider five times. They refuse to let me have a refund or store credit. Nightmare company. Do not buy anything from them.

I have been a happy Newegg customer for over a decade. This evening I found that somehow two of my credit cards, both stored on Newegg have been charged multiple charges unknown to me from NEWEGG. There are no orders coinciding with those charges on my account in my Newegg login. I contacted a support agent using the Live Support option. This person was friendly, and somewhat helpful. They found the charges were made on some other account not related to mine. Of course they would not tell me the name on that account. And could not tell me how that other account got my credit cards to make those purchases. They advised me to dispute the charges with my banks and that they would turn it over to their support team to block the fraudulent account. Now I have to cancel two credit cards at the same time and dispute atleast 9 charges. I'm very upset and will not be doing anymore business with Newegg until and only if I get some confirmation of their discovery and correction of the breach.

Love newegg. Their reviews are awesome and they're my go to store for parts/pc buildouts that I do. They have great deals and amazing service. One time they were late on shipping a nvidia graphics card to me and had it overnighted for FREE once it came back in stock and also gave me a small store credit for my patience... talk about good service. Always will come back here
Ordered some of the parts I needed to build a new pc desktop still trying to get the rest. They have even deals to save you some money for parts and other goods. Just make sure you read the specs carefully when purchasing so you don't get the wrong parts. Like most online services returning for a refund or for a replacement is a pain.
I purchased a refurbished ABS Master Gaming PC through the NewEgg website. After four hours of usage some noticeable problems emerged. Turns out memory and drive are faulty (per local PC repair shop) BUT Newegg won't honor return policy because it was sold by "a different vendor." This is shady business practice, so beware both of refurbished machines but also the concealed way in which "outside" vendors sell within NewEgg website.
Now I am stuck with having to fix a damaged PC.

I recently purchased a refurbished video card from Newegg. After getting the rest of the parts for my computer and assembling it, I soon discovered it was not functioning correctly and crashing when I tried to run videogames. After some troubleshooting, I verified that the problem was the graphics card. I contacted Newegg and they refused to refund my purchase because it was outside of their 30 day return policy period.
I did not receive the product I paid for (a functioning graphics card) and yet they refuse to allow me to return the product. Terrible customer service and policies. I am now out $180 and I plan on warning everyone away from using Newegg. 0/10 would not recommend to a friend.

I had bought some parts from Newegg but the one that standout was a motherboard bought on 2010 for nearly $65. It was so good still working on my very old desktop that I used daily before getting my new one in 2014.

I spent over an hour on the phone trying to figure out the right parts to buy to get my two Microsoft Surface Pro 3 laptops to be able to read SIM cards and get online.
The rep convinced me that he had figured out the right parts to buy. So, I spent $126 on two SIM card adapters and two PCIE cards only to get them and find out they don't work together.
Newegg will not honor returns and directed me to the companies in China. They want to charge me $17.50 per item to return them. Seriously?
Recommendation: DON'T purchase anything from Newegg that is not made here in the US and does not have a return policy. I always thought Newegg honored returns... I guess that was a long time ago. Now, they are nothing but a distribution center for cheap crap from China. Don't get stuck as I did. Not shopping there again.
Tip for consumers:
Don't buy anything until you verify a return policy. If it is from China then you won't be able to return it without paying $17.50 for each package.

Newegg has the worst customer service ever. They would do everything not to give you a refund if you want to return something you have bought from them. Buy from this company if you want to flush your money down the drain.
I purchased laptop from Newegg. I purchased drop and spills plan from newegg fulfilled buy AIG and servicenet. They advertise fixed or replaced in 5 days. But when i sent my product they are asking for 60 days. This is absolute false advertisement. I was on phone with customer support and supervisor and they both said it will not be returned before 60 days. Why are they putting up misleading information on website to fool customers. I could have bought laptop from bestbuy or walmart. I will never buy from them again

Worst Customer Service of any large company I have ever dealt with. Ordered a new laptop for my grandson and paid extra for 2 day shipping even though 4-7 day shipping was free. Now I get a notice that it will be 6 days at least before it gets there maybe 7. Family will be gone from there before it is delivered so now I am going to have to pay to ship it again. Not to mention that he will not get it for as expexted!
