Highly recommended for computer parts and electronics in general. Much wider selection than Best Buy, and better service than Fry's. Very quick standard shipping, usually arriving within 3 days. I've even purchased a few refurbished items, all of which continue to work.

“Canceled order - No communication”

Placed an order on NEWEGG, they billed my credit card and without any notice they canceled my order 7 days later. I only found out after I went to my PayPal account and saw it was canceled. I will never buy from them again. They also allow resellers on their site so you never know if the merchandise is legit or new. Buyer beware...

I must say I am very disappointed with Newegg being the first time I will buy a sample laptop from you. I buy and resell hundreds of laptop for resale in Africa from Ebay, Amazon and other websites. This is the first time I bought a laptop from Newegg through Ebay Item ID ************** and Return ID *******681

I bought a certified refurbished Asus laptop last two weeks and I just got it from my freight company last week and to my greatest surprise, everything was wrong. The laptop is faulty and does not power on. Newegg sold me a damaged and defective laptop the laptop only displays a black screen and will never display anything. Besides, there was no receipt for this laptop.

I am taking this case up with Newegg and getting my lawyers to write and sue for damages if I do not get full refund of $470 within the next 24 hours. In the event that I file a law suit, the damages will run into several thousands of dollars for revenue losses.

Preordered lens with promotional interest with 1 month lead time, order was pushed another month. Receive an email saying I cancelled order. I contact them and they since promotion is no longer valid order is cancelled. I have to resubmit order using different payment method.
They say they are sorry offer me 10 dollar credit. I refuse and say I will take business elsewhere. Up to this point had nothing but wonderful transactions with Newegg. This is actually my first negative review of any kind. Point being the email was sent to me said I cancelled order I did not, they did. They offered goods which I purchased and they could not deliver within time frame of "preferred account" offer so they falsify records and say I cancelled. Simply unethical.

Submitted an order for a monitor, received a confirmation email that the order was in progress.

Attempted to check the status a day later and found they had locked my account.

When I queried this I was advised that they suspended my account and I needed to send them an email for them to unlock it. I was also advised that my order was cancelled.

I was never contacted by Phone OR email about any issues.

Newegg sent me a laptop with a broken dvd drive. I returned the computer and weeks later they email me that the computer screen was damaged and are sending the laptop back to me because that violates the warranty. I told them the computer was fine when I sent it. They said they would put in a claim to UPS. I received a busted computer. When I called they said the box looked ok when it arrived so no replacement will be given. Money completely wasted.

I ordered a graphics card but the box was damaged in the shipping process. Since this was for a gift, I requested a new one be sent and have the old one returned. Newegg handled everything quickly. They scheduled UPS to come and take the old one back, and they sent me a new one and mailed it to me. The whole return process took about a week and a half, including the delivery. And no return shipping... which was nice. Would use again.

Worst customer service Ever! I ordered a Server and received it a week later. Great shipping time and quick turn around. However, what I received was not what I ordered. I spoke via Online Chat with a nice lady. However she had to Elevate my level of contact due to the problem. I spoke via e-mail several times with a Customer Service Rep. She told me that I would have to contact Their Vendor who assembled the Server. I told her I ordered and paid Newegg and they should contact their vendor. Why would I have to contact Their Vendor. Basically she gave me their phone number and told me I could call them or Go Pound Sand. Next time I will go straight to HP or Hitachi Data Systems. The price certainly was not worth it!

Tip for consumers:
My tip would be use someone else. I would have had better luck on e-bay and could have purchased the same thing. I would never in a million years use Newegg for Anything!!

Ordered 2 items from Newegg. Received shipment in a large box. Opened box and inside were 2 smaller boxes. One containing a processor was crushed. Not the other box or outside box were damaged. Which means, this item was shipped already damaged. I have tried repeatedly and without success to get a store credit for the full amount. They finally offered a store credit, but short 50 dollars. I turned this down as they were the ones to ship a damaged box. I in return have filed a complaint with the BBB there in California and I await their help. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

They had the wrong WIFI Card listed for my computer. I ordered it, and didn't receive a packing slip so didn't have an order number. When I tried to reach "Customer Service," the system said Item was "not eligible" for return. When I tried to reach a human "Customer Service" agent by pressing "2," the system said, "The number is no longer in service". WTF? Avoid newegg unless you like being ripped off!

Then sent weeks making my life miserable, in hopes I would keep the defective computer. They said to send it back and I did. Then they refused the return and sent it back to me. There is no way to talk to anyone on the phoneo and if you should be so lucky, their hands are tired and they can do nothing.

I recently purchased GiftCards through a marketplace of over $1,000 in credits. I made the purchase and my account was suspended right away for verification issues. A week later, I asked for an update and my account couldn't be unlocked. Including the loss of my Newegg Points and my account of a valued customer for a couple of years, I lost hundreds of dollars on the gift cards. I asked and chatted with no avail. The giftcard balances were not going to be returned to me and no information was disclosed to me due to "Security Reasons". Instead they suggested I make a new account and repurchase the items TO MY OWN ACCORD after being out of $1,000 in gift cards. I'm beyond pissed and angry with not only the support, but the Webstore as a whole. I'll be deferring anyone from using Newegg from now on and will continue to give bad ratings.

Purchased a defective computer through Newegg. They wouldn't replace it, but did offer a refund. After numerous phone calls I finally have a refund for the piece of junk Surface Pro computer but a month after they received the returned product still no refund yet on the keyboard or software I purchased with the computer. It is not worth using this seller, avoid at all cost!

Your deals surpass in store prices by more than 15% and even sometimes as high as 30% ( yes, I calculate price percentages). I buy all of my DIY parts from your company and I'll gladly keep doing business with you whenever I need an upgrade or if I'm building another computer.

I never received an item they shipped. Not sure if it was UPS fault or Newegg, but Newegg refused to resend it. I've never had such bad customer service. It was 100$ Worth of items. I'm sure glad I didn't purchase something really expensive. I wouldn't recommend buying from here if you're worried about losing the item.

One can find good prices sometimes. But sadly the way it looks if you don't pay for the extra coverage you will get no support if you have RMA. Even when they have the Item in Iron Egg guarantee. I still dealing wit the company, but the costumer service is by email, calling their number they give you don't work and trying to have a chat don't work.
I already told my gamer friends to be careful if they have business with the company. I should stay in Amazon

One of the worst experience ever. They accepted my order of Oculus which I bought for my son's Christmas gift. They never shipped the order and never explained what happened. Finally they refunded me after many days and I lots the original deal due to them. Their App, chat feature and phone Customer service, all are terrible from user experience perspective. I wouldn't rely ever on this website to ever order anything something important.

Bought a computer part. Receive it not working. Sent it back asking a for refund. They told me the serial number as been removed. That wasn't true I took pictures of it before sending it back. Looks like a Scam to me!

This company has a real issue with dealing with small issues. I bought a product from them on 12/29/2014 7:57:37 AM. I placed it to be over night. I was sending it to my house but I realized afterward I could not be there in time. So i contacted them (10am at this point) to change the address. I was told I could not do this since it was being processed and would have to wait. Then 4 hours later, Newegg sent the shipping info to FedEx. They didn't change the address as I requested and I called about a multitude of times about. I contacted Newegg far before the information was give to FedEX yet (Dec 29,2014 1:43 PM) the wrong info was sent when I called at 10am. Then (Dec 29,2014 2:44 PM) nearly an hour later, the package with the wrong address was picked up. Seriously, this huge issue could have been avoided if the rep I dealt with (Alex) would have placed in the request to change. I will NEVER use this company again.

Choose another sender. If any issues come up, they will ignore it until it is too late.

Hello, do not buy products from newegg company, because they delivered the product to the wrong address, but they do not refund my money. They lost my 800$ laptop, they won't refund my money. The tracking number says the product was delivered in Newark. But my address is located in wilmington. I talked to ups, they say that they paid for the lost package with newegge.

But they said that newegg delivered it to the correct address and they will not refund the money. I have never seen such a terrible company in my life. What can i do in this situation?

Newegg did OK, shipped item as promised, but I had problems tracking my order. Since I didn't register and check out I checked out as a guest. When I returned to the site to check on the whereabouts of my purchase there was no information. I then registered and still no information. Needless to say I contacted customer service attempting to get a tracking number, but the item arrived before I could get the tracking number. My fault, their fault, anybody's fault, who knows I am just happy I received my order, quickly I might add.

I had the computer from Newegg since May 26,2018 and by August the hard drive, made by Seagate was not working. Newegg said it is not their problem since Seagate made the drive and could/would not help. Seagate requires ridiculous packaging for returns that would cost more than $200, more than the cost of a hard drive.

NewEgg provided the worst online experience that I have ever had and I have been an online (almost exclusively) shopper since the late 1990s. As a software developer, I have always preferred to stick to online shopping rather than hitting the mall...

On Black Friday I ordered an LCD TV that they were running a promotion on. NewEgg instead sent a dissimilar monitor that was half the price. Upon receiving the item, I immediately contacted them, using their online form, waited a couple days and then contacted them again. After contacting them many times (email, online form, etc.) over three weeks, I have never heard a word back from them. I finally just sent them item back because I was at the end of the 30-day return period.

Not a word from them, nothing. So good for a guaranteed 24-hour response. Now I will also have to incurr a 15% restocking fee charged on an overpriced item that I did not order.

NewEgg sucks...

I had so terrible shopping experience on this website. I had placed a same order for 5 times. They still say my account information not match with bank. So weird to ask my SSN when they called to verified my account info. My credit had been charger but the sales status still in processing. I will never shopping on the company!

Building a pc. 4th build always order every thing at same time from newegg. First cpu was on backorder set me back almost a month then the m2 ssd went on back order and now the memory ddr4 is on back order. It's been over a month I've been working on this I have the SOME of the parts but am waiting on others. What had happened to the Egg? Omg.
