Highly recommended for computer parts and electronics in general. Much wider selection than Best Buy, and better service than Fry's. Very quick standard shipping, usually arriving within 3 days. I've even purchased a few refurbished items, all of which continue to work.

“Canceled order - No communication”

Placed an order on NEWEGG, they billed my credit card and without any notice they canceled my order 7 days later. I only found out after I went to my PayPal account and saw it was canceled. I will never buy from them again. They also allow resellers on their site so you never know if the merchandise is legit or new. Buyer beware...

I've ordered from Newegg before, and never really had any issues. This time I bought a gift and it came to the house with what it was plastered all over the outside of the box. Ruined the surprise for my husband, as he's the one that answered the door. While that annoyed me, the fact that I contacted customer service and got NO RESPONSE annoyed me more.

Waited over threee months. Had to call two or three times and still never got the rebate.
Also tried to post a review accurately describing the fact that I never got the rebate and Newegg censored it and would not allow it to post. Newegg agreed my post was fair and accurate but said they "did not allow information about rebates to be posted"!

I've never been treated so badly. Tries to make an order 8 times. They froze my account. Told me to call the bank, cause that was issue. And it wasn't. They had some kind of lame reason for making me reorder 8 times and still now I've got to reorder. But still they have no access to the reason? Idk they hung up on me. And told me they had an issue but not what. Wth? Totally rude to me. I would spend your money on them.

I have been a customer of Newegg since 2005, I purchased complete computer systems as well as the incidental device and a ton of computer parts, chipsets. Power supplies, hard to find stuff, memory, screens. It always shows up quick and to date I have only had to call one time to get something corrected. I made a order for a back lit keyboard that was falsely advertised and was not back lit at all. When I tried to return it the seller tried to charge me for the cost of the return. I had to file a complaint with paypal to get my money back.

I have purchased a watch and shoes from this website. The price seemed reasonable for me and I ordered for the products. I got the watch soon and it is also very stylish as I expected and also works well. The shoes were good but the quality of material was not that good as I was expecting.

After making a purchase a redirect page ups up soliciting credit card information and SSN. Hackers use redirected pages to attain information from unsuspecting internet users. It was reported FBI internet crimes division. After reporting and a 40 min wait for online chat with Newegg Security I was informed it was a procedure they use and that customer service (Not security which is what I selected) couldn't do anything about it. This is a dangerous internet protocol which could open you (the customer) up to identity theft.

I ordered a computer from here a week ago, and the e-mail they sent, said I would receive it in 3-days, two-day later, I received another e-mail stating, they needed address verification, I called them and verified my address, they told me, it would be shipped out in the morning. Two days went by again, and I called them, this time they told me, it was in the warehouse being prepared to ship, The next day, I got a message stating, there was a delay with the carrier. I don't believe they have the computer I ordered, and they're probably hoping I will cancel the order! This is the last time I will ever order anything from newegg, I highly recommend everyone, does the same!

Tip for consumers:
Stay Away from this place, you waist a lot of time if try to deal with them!

I've spent over $10,000 in the last year alone at Newegg. They've messed up numerous orders, and the customer has to jump through more hoops than a circus act to get anything. I cancelled an order and THREE WEEKS LATER they shipped it and charged me. I returned the UNOPENED package and they said it wasn't theirs... with the Newegg packaging and name all over. After 12+ hours (yep, that's right) of trying to deal with "managers," I finally disputed it with my card company as I had no other choice. My Newegg account was instantly suspended. What a crappy company with crappy morals and zero accountability. Shop anywhere else.

Newegg used to be a great place but now it is only about money and definitely not you. There customer service is not interested in what you have say although it may seem it. This is one of the worst sites on the internet! God forebide you have a credit issue or anthing else cause you will pay.

I have purchased a few items from the newegg.com website, (Wii machine, laptop cooler fan, steam machine, xbox games). They offered the best prices at the time of purchase. The also offer exceptional shipping practices. From order to arrival took less than a week on all of the occasions that I have purchased from them. This is one of the better companies out there and I would reccommend this site to anyone.

We ordered Brother laser toner 4 pack cartridges with a cost of close to $300. Didn't realize the purchase was directed to a third party until i went back to look at the sales receipt because the printer ink (fine powder) leaked all over my black printer drum. After spending hours trying to clean the fuser and searching for how to fix via Brother website, I saw warnings about Ink leakage and non-authentic toner cartridges. Brother directs you to look for a hologram on the box to prove authenticity. No hologram. Email to New Egg resulted in their stating that Brother would not refund. No kidding, since Brother was NOT the 3rd party seller. No resolution and now I am not only out the $300, but also need to replace the printer drum AND still order toner replacement. New Egg is awful, does not stand behind 3rd party sellers, does not try to resolve and does NOT care about loyal customers. AVOID at all costs!

I have been a long time user of Newegg and have never had a bad experience. For the last few years I have been a Premier subscriber, $50 a year for free shipping and other perks. Whenever I need a hard drive or other components for a system I am putting together they are the first place I check and usually who I end up buying from.

Back in the beginning of April 2015 I got an email from Newegg.com with special deals going on and I decided to order my wife a Apple I-Phone 5. I paid for the phone via debit card and waited about two weeks for a box from them to come. I ended up only getting a manual and phone charger in the box! I right away called Newegg.com and talked to customer service, The person i spoke to stated that he would call shipping and have this investigated and he filled out a file stating that i only got the charger and manual he stated it would take about a week then he would get back to me? Never got a phone call back and never received the I-phone. Place is a ripoff!

Tip for consumers:
Please read all reviews about this Newegg.com site i see tons of customer complaints on here and other sites like Sitejabber people getting the wrong parts and or wrong products and sometimes like me not get what they ordered and no help customer service to get what we paid for. I called back just to see what if anything was going to happen about the phone i paid for and didn't receive. The customer service rep named Kazmere stated i needed to send pictures of the box that i got with the charger

I did not receive my order 7 days, when I check my order I found the price was reduced. I did online chat. After waited an hour, a CS finally talk to me. He asked me to wait when look into the problem. I waited another half hour, and then the CS told me he can not do a price adjustment. I look back and found the price of the item increased. Your customer service brighten my eyes.

Horrible service. Ordered a receiver, not even a week passes the price is reduced and they refuse to match. They gave many rules of why, from Marciano the supervisor to the first person. They were very arrogant and did not attempt to help in any way.

I had a flawless experience with newegg. Found a great deal on a computer, ordered it, everything was easy. Had a small issue with the shipping adress, and the A+ customer service fixed it right away. Product arrived early, with pro packaging and everything was in great condition, no damage at all.

This has to be by far the BEST place to get electonics. If you ever have a problem or get the wrong item it is so easy to returen it and get the correct item. I wish some of their descriptions on some items were actually filled out so you knew what you were getting.

They have everything electronic. They have full descriptions on every thing electronic. They have great prices on everything electronic. This is the site to use... for everything electronic. I bought by computer on new egg, and it was a great experience. I really recommend using this site to by your laptops, build your desktops, by a tv, keyboard, everything.

Not the same service as it used to be. Ordered a $500 component, there was some need to verify the order. Called, got transferred to a voicemail. Called again, asked for callback, waited... waited... never happened. Cancelled order, went to Amazon.

I remember doing the same thing years ago, had them call me instantly and had the order next day. I miss that company.

I purchased a refurbished PC and an extended warranty. The PC never worked. I returned it 3 times for repairs and they never repaired it and they sent it back without even touching it. They didn't even send a note explaining why. When I asked for a refund and credit to purchase a new computer, they said I wasn't eligible for a refund, even though the computer spent 6 months going back and forth from my house to their repair center. The warranty doesn't include information on how to return it - it has to be "approved" by them. I am now applying for a refund through my credit card company. Newegg repeatedly told me that they would review and repair the computer, but nothing ever happened. Save your time and money, and don't bother buying from them!

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible... I have been trying to get a refund for a returned item of $206 for over a month. You have to wait up to an hour on hold every time you call to speak to someone who will ask you the same stupid questions of which you have answered 10 times already. I spoke to a manager name Carla who assured me she was going to take care of the problem and send me her direct contact information. Nether one happened. The fact is that the should take down the sign that says Newegg and put one up that says Ringling Brothers because what they are running is a circus.

I ordered several video games during a $12 off preorder video games sale. One of the games was not yet released so it was to be shipped on or after the ship date. Well when the game was released Newegg claimed to not be able to get any stock of the game and simply cancelled my order without any notification. The very next day the game was in stock so I called customer service to ask that my order be shipped. I was told that my order had been cancelled so if I still wanted the game I would have to reorder it and would not receive the $12 preorder discount. This doesn't seem like very good customer service to me. I never asked that my preorder be cancelled and then they tell me to reorder at full price. What a joke. I still give them 3 stars though because this is the only time I have ever had an issue with them, after many purchases over the years.

I returned a product which was still on the warranty. Tell me they would make a replacement or get me a gift card from the original price if they didn't have in stock. After 2 weeks without any news, I called them and they told me my case was close, even if nothing was sent. I had to speak with them for over 30 minutes before they told me they would sent a gift card in the next few days. 3 weeks after this, received nothing, called them 3-4 times (they told me they would contact me by mail or phone which they never did), promess me the gift card, etc. Customer service from this compagny really sucks once they have your money

Newegg has competitive prices, but their customer service is user-unfriendly. As a computer repairer (?) for a living I am always looking for good website to buy from. The pluses of Newegg: fast shipping, good prices. The drawbacks-- bad customer service that seems apathetic towards customers. I received a hard drive that was DOA, so I sent it back to Newegg. Instead of receiving a replacement, I was told I had damaged it and that I would not receive a replacement or refund. So I was out that money. Luckily it was a good price I got, but it turned me off to Newegg and I take my business elsewhere now.
