Highly recommended for computer parts and electronics in general. Much wider selection than Best Buy, and better service than Fry's. Very quick standard shipping, usually arriving within 3 days. I've even purchased a few refurbished items, all of which continue to work.

“Canceled order - No communication”

Placed an order on NEWEGG, they billed my credit card and without any notice they canceled my order 7 days later. I only found out after I went to my PayPal account and saw it was canceled. I will never buy from them again. They also allow resellers on their site so you never know if the merchandise is legit or new. Buyer beware...

I placed an order for a video card and motherboard on 12/11. I live 30 miles from Newegg. The package was lost by their carrier. I called and used their "chat" many times and was told to "wait". After 2 weeks, they finally open an "investigation". After a total of 3 weeks they tell me that the package is lost. 3 weeks.

They send a replacement video card, and now I no longer need the motherboard so I try to return it. They now tell me that since it's been 3 weeks, " the return policy has changed" and they no longer accept partial returns. The "return policy" changed AFTER I placed the order. After a chat with their agent Justin Y., he agreed, the policy had changed, but still refused a partial refund.

The sites help functions don't work. I placed an order on Dec 2,2013, never got confirmation even though my account has been charged. The site does not even have it in the system and the help functions don't work!
They really have gone downhill. Guess I should of listened and changed to Amazon.

Worst customer services and return services not worth the time other better sites by a long shot let this be the last site to try and not the cheapest. Got a drone from there at $300 and only used it a total of 3 hours and stop working and there return policy to crap like that is the same to things that do work which should not be because 3 hours of use is $#*! items like that should of been 1st priority to them but it's not. Thank you for the waste of time newegg

2,3 years ago, Newegg was my go to for anything tech & computer. Now it's another Crutchfield, use the site to shop and buy the products elsewhere. The final straw for me was the "eggsaver" shipping that now takes way too long. Shipping should NEVER take more than a week, even if it's free.

I purchased a defective wireless speaker from Newegg. The would only issue a store credit because the product was sold out. The product was returned on day 30. I won't do business hear again. Low quality with poor service.

I ordered something. I knew something was wrong right away. I contacted customer service and received a rude response. Gave them another shot to not ever receive my product. Now i just had customer service hand up on me.

Ordered the wrong RAM. Returned it and got the correct one. They were very helpful. There was also an issue with my payment method (I think the card had flagged the transaction as a security issue). Newegg were helpful with this too.

Try to order the correct item LOL
(If you don't, you can return it though).

I purchased $800.00 worth of equipment from newegg.com and it was delivered in original boxes! The boxes were clearly marked ASUS! Good thing it didn't get swipped from my porch! Poor shipping policies! Equipment should have been delivered in a brown PLAIN box! :(

I have purchased from this company and there are a few major issues that customers should be aware of:

The price was much more expensive than if purchased directly from the manufacturer in Canada - they refused to match the price when informed

The shipping fees: you will be responsible for payment of the shipping /custom fees unless you flag it back to them and then they would finally pick up the cost

The language: everything that was shipped to us, including the user manual, robot "voice" etc. is in Mandarin Chinese - we have to do our own arrangements and find the appropriate documents in English

I would never purchase from this vendor again given all the circumstances described above

I have used Newegg in the past, and had a decent experience. But I just recently went to their site, intending to make a purchase, and discovered that somehow they had associated my email address with someone else's account, and this other person has a chargeback, so my account is suspended. I informed them of their error, but they won't do anything about it. And it's THEIR MISTAKE. To me, this is a clear indication of carelessness with customer data, and I have to wonder how many other accounts have they screwed up this way? But the worst part is their attitude about fixing the situation. So far, they haven't even admitted that there is an error.

I will be taking my business elsewhere, thank you very much.

You just cannot count on them to be honest. If the site has a date on it that you can expect delivery by you are being lied to. Ordered an item on 28 Nov with a delivery date of 01 DEC. Tracking number posted by 29 Nov. New tracking number 02 DEC. 04 Dec and the item has not even shipped and they cannot tell me when I can even expect it. Not the first time it has happened but the most blatantly lied about arrival date. Black Friday deal so now I am forced to wait and hope I get it. They will never get my business again. Spoke with customer service and was offered the option to "Wait and see". Brilliant plan. Cannot even give me an idea of the item's arrival date or when it will even ship.

Tip for consumers:
Do not expect the item when they tell you it will be there.

I ordered a camera security system. The order hadn't shipped for almost a week so I called them. They said the order was lost and they would cancel the order. I reordered the same item. Then I get an email stating that the cancellation was voided because the item had been delivered. Amazing since it hadn't shipped yet!
We now have 2 orders and they won't cancel the 2nd order and move on by shipping that order also. That order is never delivered and UPS returns it to it's origin and receives a signed confirmation. Newegg doesn't initiate a refund until I call later to find why. Now 10 more days later, no refund and receive an email saying I need to request a return shipping ticket.
They are comparable with trying to make sense with a door knob. This forces me to dispute the charges with the credit card company. The number of emails, phone calls, and all the time involved with this mess makes purchasing anywhere else a bargain.

Tip for consumers:
Run away from Newegg as fast as you can.

This is only the 2nd time I have written a derogatory review about any company. Our company has been trying for over a week to purchase a computer. Initially, they cancelled the order without contacting us. When we called to find out why our computer had not arrived in the allotted time frame, we were told the order had been cancelled. Apparently, they have some sort of matching process for credit card purchases which we verified is correct. We have never had difficulty on any other site making a purchase. I have just contacted their customer service again and to no avail. Since we have already spent 2 hours trying to make the purchase, I think we will cut our losses and find a store interested in making a sale.

My order (invoice #*******; 08/12/2021@12:45:11) from Newegg was shipped via FedEx. Shipment, according to Newegg and FedEx tracking, has either been damaged or misplaced.
Now, some six days post promised delivery, I am unable to reach Newegg other than a reoccurring canned response through their site robot.
Newegg's indifference to customer service/satisfaction has thus prompted my response herein and shall prevent future purchases on my part from Newegg.

We bought two items and paid through PayPal. They shipped to some random address. By the time we realized the package had been sent to a business and tried to get it back, it was no use. The business also confirmed that they had sent the package back to Newegg! After talking to their customer service and being led on for several weeks, we then got transferred to their Claims department who also denied to issue us a refund on the grounds that the "package had been delivered". They will take your money, send your package elsewhere and lead you on just long enough that you can't do a chargeback. Lesson learned, don't get scammed and avoid them at all costs. I would put -5 stars if I could.

Tip for consumers:
You should never wait more than a week for an answer from their customer service. If so, cancel your order through your credit card company and ask for a charge back right away.

None, they were not delivered.

Absolute Trash Customer Service

Spent 5,600 dollars on a PC from their website. I look back at my order to find out it's going to an address in California I have never lived at. Spoke with customer service, they could not adjust the address and had to refund me so I could reorder it.
This was on a Thursday. They didn't even actually apply the refund till the next Monday. Had to wait for it. Got the refund. Tried to purchase it again. Told me payment was declined. Even though it is now processing out of my bank account. Newegg customer service told me it's not, and I had to speak to my bank. My bank had to cancel the payment because it was going through. And now they have sold the computer I spent 5,600 dollars on over a week ago.
And I'm still waiting on a 2nd refund now. Absolutely utter trash customer service.
The most insane purchasing experience I have ever had. You'd think when you are giving someone 5,600 dollars for a product that they would be a little more assistive.

Tip for consumers:
Look somewhere else first honestly. This is the first time I have ever used Newegg. But this experience has been insanely stupid. Really hope the team in charge of their warranty’s is different...

Spent $600.00 on a printer for my business. They sent me the printer that came with the European plug ins. Which seems weird since I'm a U. S company buying from a place in California. I called them and they wanted me to pay for the U.S. plug ins that they would send me. I was not going to give them any more money. So, I just went and bought U.S. plug ins from a local store and after all that the printer doesn't work. They told me to contact the manufacturer. So I did and the manufacturer said the printer I purchased was 4 years old and past the warranty stage. I would never recommend anyone to purchase anything from them. If you decide to... Good Luck!

This site has various items to purchase especially in the category I am so much interested like mobile phones and computer accessories. This site offer options to compare the price ranges and I had purchased Bluetooth stereo headset and a wallet for my iPhone. But the quality of the wallet was not so good if I compare the price money I have given.

I have been regularly ordering from Newegg for over 10 years and have never had any problem that was not resolved quickly and professionally. Great site and most of the time they have the best pricing. I am willing to pay a few bucks more for peace of mind from Newegg in the rare instances where they do not have the cheapest pricing

I purchased a cheap tablet computer from them. Due to issues with it I decided to return on the iron egg guarantee. I found out it will cost me $12 to return a defective item. It also took forever to get an RMA due to their somewhat convoluted system. Then, the return ship label didn't print. When I requested a reprint, the system would not allow me to do so without calling an 800 number. I will stick with the honesty and simplicity of Amazon.com for all my further needs. Newegg experience was my punishment leaving the wonderful world of Amazon.

Bought a phone but the merchant didn't want to return the money I paid. I had to call up NewEgg to get the refund a few times. It took a while, but NewEgg finally refunded my money. I would recommend everyone who returns something to make sure they keep their tracking number, otherwise there is not proof you returned it.

A great source for technology items. While the site has had "improvements" over the past few years which has made the site less appealing, the service and selection are still among the best on the web. Extremely active user community provides great insight via the site's reviews.

I bought my $1,400 gaming laptop from Newegg, and though I thought it would be sketchy to buy something this expensive from a site that is not bestbuy or the laptop company itself, it was delivered and packaged in amazing condition. It included everything, and I was very happy. The pricing on this site is great as well, and it included a nice insurance plan for my laptop. Thanks Newegg!

My experience for the Newegg App is primarily on Kindle Fire HD 8.9. It is OK, but could use improvement. As compared with viewing the Newegg website through a browser, it seems to have caching issues, slow to browse larger lists of items on special (site versions of email deals). The notifications are nice though and I am glad to also get this app on my Android devices through the Amazon App Store instead of the G-store.
