Highly recommended for computer parts and electronics in general. Much wider selection than Best Buy, and better service than Fry's. Very quick standard shipping, usually arriving within 3 days. I've even purchased a few refurbished items, all of which continue to work.
Placed an order on NEWEGG, they billed my credit card and without any notice they canceled my order 7 days later. I only found out after I went to my PayPal account and saw it was canceled. I will never buy from them again. They also allow resellers on their site so you never know if the merchandise is legit or new. Buyer beware...
My husband purchased a new cpu and motherboard, among other items. Basically a new build. Only to be sent a dead motherboard or cpu. The tech company that helped us (at a computer tech)suggest we send both back and get get ones. So on their advice, that's what he did. Newegg received the broken parts and said to us. We will refund your money and you can purchase again. That they couldn't just trade for other parts ( apparently they they dont have them, thats bs based on what they said next). However, hubby got black Friday deals and they were not will to honor the price. Told him to buy them at the current price and we are just out of luck. It was a $400 difference. After more investigation and shopping around, there are more and more of these same stories.
All I'm saying is buyer beware. Shop local and you will find a better deal and more support. Newegg is Canadian and if you shop at a Canadian store, they have to at least price match of not beat it.
Do NOT shop at Newegg, not worth it.
I will never in a million years deal with this company again.
Can't begin to tell you how shocked I am with the way I was treated.
Never had such an unpleasant experience with a retailer before.

I ordered a laptop from Newegg because they offered the best price. Nevertheless, I had to wait a week more than expected. I was afraid that the package is lost but it arrived eventually.
They have good prices and selection, their search tools and product information are good as well. Can't comment on customer service, never called them
Worst customer service ever ordered a laptop on Friday 9/28 in the afternoon and paid for two day shipping. Got a tracking # that said i would receive it on Tue. 10/2 end of day. Did not receive. I called 7pm 10/2 they said it was scheduled to arrive 10/2 but if I did not receive it they would refund the shipping. Called 10/3 and they said it was shipped 10/1 so it was not late I would get it 10/3. Did not get it and now called and they tell me that it shipped 10/3 and will not get till 10/5! This is from NJ 4 hr drive from my house, how is it coming horse and buggy? NEVER DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN. They have the nerve to call themselves New-egg Business, more like rotten egg business. I have cancelled my order and will be disputing ANY charge.

First time customer, went to purchase a video card and it's been the biggest regret i've ever had with an online purchase and the order hasn't even been shipped. Order was voided without reason. Tried telling me i possibly didn't validate as per information from credit card issuer which is funny since i think i know my address and made 1000's of purchases over the years elsewhere without issue.
Talking to agents feels like i'm talking to robots, don't dare talk on live chat, that is scary. They use canned responses about 99% of the time, do not have any reading comprehension skills and i've had to repeat things 5-6 times and they still don't get the simplest of questions. Call by phone, they repeat scripts, nothing is personal and no emotion. If these guys hate working there, quit.
Anyhow, they voided my order during a sale. It's going to take up to 3-5 business days to get my refunds and by then i'll have missed a sale on these items elsewhere costing me money. People only love them because they haven't experienced this headache. The fact they void orders immediately and don't even attempt to question and they cannot reverse a void is bull.
I wish what i said would help others but i know people will flock to them even with these warnings of haste voids without any valid reasons. Made me feel like a crook by purchasing a video card. Never felt that way before and for this, you couldn't pay me to shop there again. I'll pay $100 more elsewhere just to avoid this hassle it's THAT bad.

I recently had to return a defective item to Newegg. Had ordered items in past that worked so no problems. But the wanted me to print out a $17+shipping label for return. They would charge me that and then when got item would credit item but not the extra $5 for taxes and shipping originally. I called and they said they would send me "free return label" which was only a a mail-it-yourself label and pay for shipping. I called again and they said they would refund my shipping if I got a receipt and tracking label for return shipping. But not return full amount of $23+ I finally gave up and called American Express Gold Card and disputed charge. After explaining that I had made several contacts with Newegg in one day and explained what they wanted me to do for returning an item, AE said not worth it for them to contact the company and argue this case for $23 and just credited my account. The last woman I spoke to at Newegg was very huffy and said that's your right to dispute it but they will contact us and we will explain our policy and you will be charged back. I would never buy from them in fear of having to go through a return. I have better luck with OEM electronic equipment at EBay with free returns, no questions asked.
Tip for consumers:
Avoid Newegg if you can buy an OEM electronic part or device elsewhere. Their return policy and original shipping process is a nightmare.

Extremely shady company to stay away from. I had placed a laptop order, while I'm traveling out of state and staying in a resort for a month, recovering from injury. They cancelled my order without even sending me any notification. When I called them to ask what happened they were abusive, hateful (because of my ethnic origin - I live in the US for 30 years, but this makes them treat you as a 2nd class person) implied I was a fraud and told me right away that my "account" was blocked. I never opened any "account" with them and tried to buy laptop as using guest option, like I always do with BestBuy or ebay. The woman in Newegg customer service was nasty from the first words implying I was some kind of criminal because I ordered to resort address and didn't think there was anything wrong with them never sending me a notification of order cancellation, while I waited for delivery wasting my precious time. They acted so shady as if they operate in the criminal world, and I do not trust they sell truly new hardware now, too shady company. I had bought the same laptop for the same price on ebay without any issues, using it right now and got a 2nd laptop deal from popular big box brick-and-mortar reltaler online, both delivered very fast and without a problem, to the same address where I'm staying. At least with reputable honest company and highly rated ebay seller I know what I'm dealing with upfront and can trust them. Newegg behavior would not be tolerated in the normal business world, I'm looking into involving the government to penalize them now.

At 6 am on the 27th I ordered a monitor. They charged my card and at 6:30am I received a conformation saying the item was expected to ship end of day on the 27th. Called them at 6am on the 29th and, after one hour on hold was promised that he would follow up with the warehouse and expedite the shipment. Said he would call, and/or email me with the updated status. Didn't happen. Called Newegg at 3:30pm on the 29th, on hold for one hour again, was told it was being shipped that day. Didn't happen. Called this morning, waited on hold for another 40 minutes, rep could not help. Waited on hold for a supervisor for another 30 minutes who told me he had no access to any more information than the rep I had just spoken to (what is his job, anyway?) and, no power to expedite the shipment of my item. The reason these companies do this to us? Because we let them. Please, people, stop letting them. I beg you!

Bought 4 refurbished computer towers that said they had Nvidia GeForce Graphics Cards in the description, when they arrived all 4 had AMD Radeon installed but they had Invidia software on the computers as if to trick me. Newegg will ot honor there false advertising and send me the correct computers that I paid over $3,000 dollars for.

I purchased a 5700 xt for $450 on Oct 2.the GPU came defective, I returned it two weeks ago it says it was delivered back to the warehouse on Oct 9. A week later I don't even have acknowledgment email of them receiving it or getting a replacement. I have no GPU so I don't have a computer. Amazon would never do this to me. I bought a MSI MPG Z690 CARBON WIFI and CPU light would instantly turn on. Tried the headless Bios flash option, checked RAM, CPU, etc and nothing worked. (All hardware worked perfectly on a ASUS ROG MB).
Sent it back and they told me the board was switched in the box and would grant the refund request. Now I'm a few 100$ short with an expensive book holder.
Go with Amazon, at least they will refund / replace if you get a bad luck with an online order.

Good customer service if you have problem with your item, good deals from time to time, I haven't been able to find any other retail site better than newegg.
I have been a customer of Newegg for about a year and a half now and I love the way they treat you and take action if something doesn't go right or if you are not satisfied with your product and anything of that nature. Personally I have never had any problems with Newegg I love the design and their shipping is amazing I ordered a monitor on sep 2nd and it got there on sep 3rd in less then 24hrs I am very appreciative of there staff and if you ever need any help just contact support they will be glad to help and resolve your problem.

I used to be a loyal customer with Newegg, cause they had great customer service. BUT NOW A DAY EVERYTHING CHANGED! I just order a hard drive from them, and when i got the item, it was defective! Then i do the RMA with them, and they said i did some scratch on the label!? I really shock! I used to do computer maintenance with my customer, i know how to treat my hard drive in the right way, while it in my hand there is no drop no hit with anything! Now they said i scratch the label and void the warranty!? NICE MOVE Newegg.com! REALLY NICE! I want to tell everyone watch out for their RMA, if you got your purchase just wish you won't get the defective one! Or you will get a hell of the way to return the item, by the way, you need to pay for the shipping even they send you the defective item, and it's not cheap, my hard drive cost me $15 if i use their UPS shipping.
I purchase items for my classroom from Newegg. In 2013 I bought 26 headphones for my students, used them again in 2014, and still have 18 left, which is pretty good for two years worth of use!
I am very satisfied with it. The ship time was short and they treated me great! The service rep also had a very good recommendation which i followed and i LOVE my new 40 inch TV!
