Highly recommended for computer parts and electronics in general. Much wider selection than Best Buy, and better service than Fry's. Very quick standard shipping, usually arriving within 3 days. I've even purchased a few refurbished items, all of which continue to work.
Placed an order on NEWEGG, they billed my credit card and without any notice they canceled my order 7 days later. I only found out after I went to my PayPal account and saw it was canceled. I will never buy from them again. They also allow resellers on their site so you never know if the merchandise is legit or new. Buyer beware...
We ordered hover boards the beginning of December for Christmas for my two sons and have yet to get them now on jan 2. This was there main gift and we keep getting no answer as to when we will receive the hover boards. Emailed several times! Never again I'll use this site
While not always the cheapest... if you are looking for electronic products, and want a company that will actually stand behind what they sell... look no further. Great products, (especially if you sign up for their newsletter and get email alerts to the best deals), great prices, and excellent customer service.

Newegg is my go-to for all my tech needs. I've purchased a number of items from them over the past several years, from monitors and keyboards to USB hubs, adapter cables, and even Bluetooth speakers. I ordered a graphics card on August 26. It was shipped on August 27. After waiting in the cargo, it was returned to the sender on September 2 and the sender received it on September 7. In my first conversation with the customer representative, they said that your money will be sent when the product is returned. I'm still waiting since then. Despite contacting the customer representative many times, the money still has not been refunded. They tell me to wait a little longer every time I meet. They're distracting me. They say that the cargo did not reach them, but I verified that the cargo company delivered it. They do not refund my money without giving any reason. I paid for it and I didn't receive the product and now I can't get my money back.

I bought the 5700 XT from Newegg and I was having minor problems with the card. I didn't want to take the risk of more problems so I try to return it. I heard the GPU have driver issue but bought it otherwise since some people say they didn't have any problem.It cost a big whopping $60 stocking fee for having the item for like two days. They don't even pay for shipping to send it back so you have to pay for that too. I also read that some people say Newegg didn't even accept their returns. If you do buy from Newegg, make sure you going to keep the item or else it will cost you money! Otherwise go buy somewhere else like Amazon. I return stuff from there before with no stock fee and got my full payment back!

So here is the resolution I received: (1) They admit that the shipping information on their website is inaccurate. (2) They admit they didn't try to deliver the TV anywhere near on time. (3) If I no longer want the TV trying to be delivered a month later, I must pay all the shipping charges.
Absolutely ZERO customer service. I'm really shocked. There are some very good reputable online retailers out there, I'm never doing business with Newegg again.
I ordered a TV from Newegg.com on 2/8. My invoice said delivery in 5 to 7 days. After 2 weeks and no TV, I contacted the trucking company. They told me that the TV wouldn't be delivered for at least another week. At that point I told the trucking company to return the TV. I contacted Newegg and they told me that I actually bought the TV from their marketplace seller and that they couldn't help me. The seller, IElectrica.com took almost a week to get back to me, and basically threatened me that if I didn't accept the TV shipment they would charge me for all the shipping charges. To make matters worse, I tried to leave a negative review for IElectrica.com and it looks like Newegg.com moderates the reviews and didn't post it. I've shopped on Newegg for years, I never knew they didn't stand behind what they sell on their website.
I've since filed a complaint with the BBB. That seemed to have done nothing. The person who responded was a customer service rep and she basically gave the same line " would love to help, but, what can we do...":
I guess I'm just going to keep looking for places on the internet to tell my story in hope that someone reads this before doing business with Newegg's marketplace (sellers other than Newegg).

I use this site all the time whenever I buy computer parts. I very rarely have any issues with my orders, but when I do they are quick to fix it. Its a really good site for PC building. I highly recommend it.
I placed an order (#*******) on 4/11/20 and never received it. The seller, yes they use third party sellers, kept making sarcastic excuses. I made a claim under their Newegg Marketplace Guarantee Claim on 4/23 and was promised a refund within 2 business days. It's now 5/6/20 and NOTHING from Newegg. They kept my money and are now ignoring my emails and calls. They have not been responded to for a week now. I would strongly recommend NOT ordering from Newegg unless you want to throw your money away.

A totally unbelievable and inept online credit card verification system. Once an order is placed, about a day or two later, they cancel the order because of "verification " issue. No explanation of what the issue is, and when you call (after waiting in the lengthy call queue), they say the have to send a note to the verification department, who then, magically says (in an email later in the day) that everything is now ok, (and no info was changed from the online order). They then make you go online and start the whole purchase system over again. I tried to order one item twice and the same thing happened both times, and in the end, i just gave up and ordered the part from Amazon. I wonder how much business they are loosing with their complete incompetence in dealing with credit card verification?

Pros: Quick about shipping merchandise and getting it to you. Reliable. Good return policy. Customer service is usually good. Ads online are more accurate than Amazon so wrong items are sold and shipped. What you see is what you get.
Cons: Often more expensive than other online stores. They usually ship small items in a box that is much too large for the item. Selection of software is not as large as some other online stores.
Virtually anything tech related besides large appliances like a washing machine is found on newegg if a false seller is ever on the site they dont last long and customers who make newegg accounts are looked after which is why people love the site so much
Newegg Customer service used to be the best in the industry. Most recent purchase was a disaster. Newegg recalled the package, as I'm home waiting for it to arrive (taking time off of work). Reps gave me the run around on the reason. As much as I hate buying from them, Amazon is the way to go on price/customer service.

Amazing service every time I order. No regrets here! Always get a speedy reply to any questions I send via email. One time I had an issue with an inexpensive item being defective and they didn't even make me send it back, they just sent me another item and used rush shipping at no charge at all. I love NewEgg!

I make quite a bit of online purchases. I purchased an office 365. It says I can have a custom domain on the office 365, but It did not a allow me to register my domain name to use it for my email. I paid $100 and new egg refused to refund my money even though I could not use their product.The product was brand new. I had to dispute this with bank. First and last time purchasing from Newegg.

Bought a new Galaxy s7 Edge from NewEgg for over $600. After 6 months, it died. I called Samsung Tech, they told me to call NewEgg since it's an International version. It refused to power on. I called NewEgg, they said since I do not have the original case that came with the phone, I am out of luck and there is nothing they can do. I told them I have a sale order# and customer receipt from New Egg, still they insisted that there is nothing they can do without the original phone case. Who in this day and age keeps their phone case after they open it? It's absurd and ridiculous. In the past, I have spent over thousands of dollars on this website. I do not recommend buying anything from this website with their policy you buy it you own it, no return policy.

DON'T buy items from Newegg, if there is anything wrong and you want to get a replacement, they will receive your items first and damage some parts which do not include in the warranty and refuse to replace them. It just happened to me, I brought a PC motherboard from it, after receiving, I found it was not a brand new, so I requested for a replacement and send it back, after few days, they told me I cannot get a new one for the CPU pin is damaged. I told them that is not my problem, I didn't damage it but they ask me to provide evidence such as pictures to prove it. However, I don't have any, so they refused and sent the bad motherboard back. It wasted me over $300 and I cannot do anything about it. I was so sad. Later, I was told by a friend who is working for them, he told me the whole story in this company, I was shocked. How can this big company do this to its customer

I particularly like the free shipping included with all my purchases. All my items have been bought directly from Newegg so I cannot comment on buying merchandise outsourced to one of their partners. It will cost you 10 X times more in trouble, customer loss, bad review, paypal and credit company charge back. This company allows its sellers to take your money and deliver your product. My item was allegedly shipped on 4/23/20; it's now 6/4/20 and there is so package in site. The seller and company declined to issue me a refund. I'll be taking this up with my bank.

When I ordered from them online, they took my order and delivered it on time with no damages. They guarantee that if anything comes damaged they will take it back and get you another similar product or refund your money.

I bought a Dell PC from this website last black friday. It is really cheap, about $50 than usual. It is lucky that i added it in my basket before and finally got it. It is cheap but ran well. WIll buy other electronic products later. Good company.
I trusted Newegg to provide a reliable carrier to deliver my package safely however I didn't receive anything in the mail even when the status said "delivered". When I filed for a claim with the carrier and Newegg I was told proof of delivery (which was just a scan, no photo or signature was provided) was enough and my claim was denied. Highly doubt my package was robbed since my house is gated and a different package was delivered safely with a different carrier the same day. I was unable to get a refund or replacement and lost around $250 for a gaming monitor. Customer Service is poor and unhelpful, would not recommend.
I've bought a ton of stuff from Newegg over many years. They generally have done a good job in the past but lately the service after an order has gotten stupidly bad. It takes them days to actually ship something after your order. Oh, but you can pay extra money if you want it shipped quicker with an extra expedited handling fee. For more money they ship in the same time frame as their competition. When they finally do ship it they use some sort of fedex to USPS transfer system that is slow as hell and you can't even get an estimated date of arrival while en-route. Currently, an order placed for something as easy as a couple of thumb drives, place on June 23rd, has still not arrived by EOD on July 1. That is SO below the industry standard. You're about to run off a legacy customer NewEgg.
