Highly recommended for computer parts and electronics in general. Much wider selection than Best Buy, and better service than Fry's. Very quick standard shipping, usually arriving within 3 days. I've even purchased a few refurbished items, all of which continue to work.
Placed an order on NEWEGG, they billed my credit card and without any notice they canceled my order 7 days later. I only found out after I went to my PayPal account and saw it was canceled. I will never buy from them again. They also allow resellers on their site so you never know if the merchandise is legit or new. Buyer beware...
I guess you get what you pay for here - these people are really reliable, and you usually get your stuff long before you expect it. Customer service is GREAT.
That said - prices are generally not so great compared to other vendors.
Never had a problem getting my parts from them even though the shipping was sometimes a tad slower than desired. The times I've needed to make a return they always accepted valid merchandise back no questions asked.
Only issue is they're always out of stock and overpriced on new graphics cards. Hard to complain about much in my experience otherwise.
This is one of the better electronics sites out there. I ordered UPSs for work. They arrived in 2 days with the free shipping option. Awesome! Well packaged. Items just as stated.
Maybe not the cheapest but close. Barely higher than Chinese based companies. If you don't want to wait 6 weeks+ for stuff to come from China then I highly recommend Newegg.
Update: I have reviewed newegg.ca only. I cannot speak about newegg USA, Singapore, Australia, etc. I recommend that buyers look for specific reviews on those.
The only caveat for this site is that they now link to many other sellers. You need to be careful if the seller isn't actually Newegg. Otherwise I have not had a problem with them and their prices are good.

Have been buying from Newegg for at least 10 years. I find they have consistently good prices, a nice variety of products, quick shipping, and very little need for customer service because they get it right the first time. I've spent thousands at their site, along with others, and they currently lead the top 3 or 4 that I buy from. My experience with them spans memory, motherboards, hard drives, SSDs, power supplies, video cards, and miscellaneous boards, keyboards, mice, etc. I refurbish computers at a local community center for donation to needy families, so the need for low price and high quality is always on my mind. Good shop to do business with.
Newegg is everything an online tech site should be including first rate phone support. They know their products and can help with technical questions. They carry things that I cannot find anywhere else. They've shipped everything I've ordered within 12 hours of the order being placed. Their prices are better than or competitive to anyone else on the web. I'm a VERY satisfied customer!
Usually very reliable. They seem to be adding many new non-computer categories via the "marketplace" style third-parties. Not sure I am a fan of this. My experience with these types is so-so at best. Seems most are Chinese based sellers who seem to exaggerate the functions and quality of their products (to put it nicely). So what if you can save 30% off on a tripod if the damn thing never works!
In regards to newegg.com themselves, they are great for any laptop or desktop computer stuff you need. I just advise being careful with the third party sellers.
Great selection, good prices, great customer service. I've bought tons of stuff from them. You can't beat their database of attributes for finding an item, much better than Amazon for that. Amazon barely give a description at all, but Newegg lets you narrow down your search. Like: monitor: resolution, type, portrait, etc. Love it.

Fast shipping, good prices and an awesome selection of products, beats bestbuy by a huge margin... only drawback is that if using credit they will only ship to your billing address, though not a biggie.

Motherboard purchased from Newegg was 'dead on arrival'. Newegg rejected return for refund claiming damage to cpu socket which is disputed. Upon receipt manufacturer packaging indicated suspected 'open box' or refurbished as components showed use. Build was time critical, therefore went ahead with minimal 'out of case' assembly. Board would not post. Manufacturer support confirmed dead board and recommended return to Newegg. Visual inspection of socket before return indicated no damage. I've been building systems for years - there was no damage from attempted assembly. Newegg's policy allows them to dodge any responsibility. In process encountered terrible customer service. Don't buy from these clowns.

I ordered a new wall charger for my Apple laptop on 4/12/18. It's now 4/23/18 and no sign of delivery. In fact, the lick for shipment tracking doesn't even show that the charger has been shipped! If you need to actually receive what you buy, you might want to consider buying from someone other than Newegg.

I recently purchased a laptop computer from Newegg. Before delivery, a friend gave me one. I attempted to cancel my order but it was too late. I returned the laptop unopened and was charge over 15% for restocking - more than $400! I'll never do business with them again and suggest you don't either.

I have only been using Newegg for the past year to build and upgrade a pc. Every product I order is always at an extremely good price. They are always extremely fast when it comes to shipping and everything is packaged properly to make sure nothing moves around in transit. I had literally ordered an SSD and RAM sticks yesterday and received them today before 12 noon. I had chosen the economy shipping expecting delivery sometime next week considering the upcoming holiday, but the following day has me even more impressed. These people at Newegg have a great grasp of customer service and they will continue to have my business for quite a while.
The Nvidia 3080 rollout out on 09/17/2020 was another example of Newegg selling goods they do not have and then pushing other products on the web site. Bait and Switch which is illegal. Are they in collusion with resellers to keep priced High?
Anytime I need parts for fixing up some gaming rigs, I come here. They have a good selection, though sometimes hot new items are out of stock for a few weeks. The one time I needed to return something, they gave me 0 hassle. I'll use them again.
The title pretty much sums up. Newegg has zero clue what they are doing when it comes to customer service-- they come up with all kinds of status updates that do not match up when your product got issues, are slow to process requests, and eventually do not process your request and blame it on the manufacture. I have received 0 support and no final solutions. They basically behave like Craiglist. They'd outsource their customer service to some third country small shops and bots. I'm sure they will post a "sincere" follow-up request under my review, which is pretty much also bot. Do yourself a favor and avoid buying from Newegg, no matter how good a deal they might have.

Pathetic company. Joined their Premier Membership for $49.99 to get the free and faster shipping. Ordered an item, and then they ship it ground shipping so instead of arriving on 12/24, it is scheduled to arrive on 12/29. Company offers no solution to the problem - saying "I am sorry" is NOT a solution to a customer service problem the company has created. Unwilling to rectify the situation in any way, shape or form.

*update: So it gets even worse - the New Egg rep issues a reply on Site Jabber to contact them about the issue. I do, following all their instructions, on 12/26/14... it is now 1/9/15 - still no response from them. I stick with my "pathetic company" comment..

Great! Received quality products at my front door 4 days later! Site is easy to navigate. Reviews are very helpful when deciding whats best for your dollar. Order status is updating frequently so you know just when to get your box cutter. The products are packaged safely, and the boxes are so sturdy that we often donate them to movers.
Had to return a keyboard once, my error, wrong connector; they sent a replacement out BEFORE I returned the wrong one. Was handled as an exchange. I really appreciated that! Was NOT charged extra shipping for second keyboard, and did not have to pay to ship back the wrong one!
Newegg use to be good but then they changed their shipping policy. Sometimes they will now lock the shipping which unfortunately means you cannot make any changes. This includes you being able to HOLD the item at a depot for pickup. What this means is that it is most likely impossible for you to get any home delivery since you cannot wait all day at home for someone from UPS to arrive. What's worse is customer service is aware of the issue and unwilling to do anything about it. My items got returned as failure to deliver and I'm done buying from them. Some of you may say send to work then, but sometimes that's not an authorized address for your payment method.

Newegg has always been an excellent place to order from, in my experience. I go there first when I need PC parts, occasionally I try to find out if the item is for sale at a cheaper price somewhere else, but it's rare because Newegg is almost always as cheap as it gets.
The plentiful amount of customer reviews for the products helps me to know exactly what to expect when I'm shopping. Their policies and level of customer service have always been up to par, or better.
The selection is excellent, they don't have -everything- but aside from specialty or extremely-specific items (i. E. for repairing an old laptop or something) they typically have a variety of choices that is wide enough for this shopper!
Recently bought a power supply. One of the cables that go to the motherboard was missing. Also, there was a $20 rebate offer. I WAS within the time frame. No info was included when I received the psu. None could be found on the site either. Contacted them regarding these 2 issues. I got a standard reply saying they'd get back to me in 3 to 5 business days. That hasn't happened either. Customer service is non-existent. You also don't get what you pay for and their advertised rebates are a sham.
