Highly recommended for computer parts and electronics in general. Much wider selection than Best Buy, and better service than Fry's. Very quick standard shipping, usually arriving within 3 days. I've even purchased a few refurbished items, all of which continue to work.
Placed an order on NEWEGG, they billed my credit card and without any notice they canceled my order 7 days later. I only found out after I went to my PayPal account and saw it was canceled. I will never buy from them again. They also allow resellers on their site so you never know if the merchandise is legit or new. Buyer beware...
Really poor customer service and attention to customer I will never buy anything there. They sent an email saying my credit card was denied (never happen ever before) and so I reorder with another credit card but both got charged... really upset, then to return the device they charged me 16$

I discovered Newegg just offers a site for actual sellers to offer their products. Perhaps they do ofer their own products but who knows. Their customer service is pathetic and they do not offer assistance with items purchased through their service. Please be aware...
I purchased a computer from them only to discover it is actually is sold by a Chinese company in Hong Kong. DHL was the shipper. After an extended shipping period, DHL advised they were unable to deliver the product due to "weather related traffic delays." Fortunantly I had been sent a link to a real time map of the DHL delivery progress. They made a delivery in a town about halfway between Houston, Texas and my home then turned around and returned to Houston making deliveries along the way. There was no inclement weather nor traffic issues anywhere in the area. Now, Newegg has washed their hands, The Chinese company is clueless and DHL just says it's "on a truck for delivery or in the warehouse." Pathetic.

Due to shipping issues, I no longer do business with Newegg. Dealing with Newegg Customer's Service is not worth the few bucks you save. I deleted my credit card from my account on their web site. A few month later Newegg charged my credit card for Premier Membership. I tried to get a refund, but the e-mail I received says "Since you have received membership benefits on one or more items... a refund will not be issued." I have not ordered anything from Newegg in over 6 months, the effective date of my new membership is 4/12/2016, today's date. How could I have received benefits?
Buying from them all the time, always get really nice deals. Recently started buying for my business - no problems whatsoever. Check out their daily deals SheelShocker, sometimes I get stuff with 80% discount. Keep it up, guys!
I can only think that the positive reviews here must have been written by Newegg's marketing department. I purchased a DVD drive from them over a month ago. The drive was defective, so I returned it. After selling me a broken unit, they had the gall to charge for return shipping + a 15% restocking fee + the original cost of shipping. In all, they kept $20 of the $70 I paid. PLUS, they have STILL not refunded even that $50, despite having approved the (partial) refund nearly a month ago. I will never, never buy anything from Newegg again. Unless you like to learn the hard way, stay far away from this ripoff of a company!
Just soooo bad. I wish I had read the reviews on Consumer Affairs before ordering from them. I thought they were a good company. They simply are not and repeated interactions were answered like Sgt Schultz. I order an item that was shipped but never picked up by the post office. This defies reason. After more than enough time to have been delivered twice, it was still not picked up. I CALLED and cancelled the order and demanded a refund. They agreed ( but now can't find any record of that yet the sent out an RMA which was not what was needed but proved the phone call). No refund issued. The item manically was picked up the following day and I received it. I've spent an incredible amount of time dealing with these people just being sent round and round. No way anyone can be this stupid so as to repeat questions five or six times acting like they don't see or hear or know anything. This is obviously a simple lack it ethics. Save yourself the aggravation and buy elsewhere.

Pass on them and order elsewhere. They are not worth the aggravation.

I ordered iPhone 6s on eBay from them they cancelled the order the reason is my PayPal does not have a conform address for me. Weird never had issued ordering from newegg previously and all orders shipped went to new egg website and my order was accepted
Pretty much have any computer/gaming parts here. The prices are lower than most places. The only thing I wish they can improve is the shipping. Takes them 2-3 and sometimes 4 days to have things send out, unless you're willing to pay extra for them to rush your order so it's send out a little earlier. Maybe this is standard service now? So far I only found one site, condombee.com, that sends out same day of purchase even if it's free shipping.
Overall, I still like this site and have good experiences with it so far.
Couldn't find my $1300 monitor in shipping for weeks, would not provide me a refund until they found the box, even though both the shipping company (fedex) and the NewEgg employee both stated they have no idea where it is. So newegg is holding onto my money until they find this package, pretty cool eh? Part of their "assured customer return" system where they want to make sure I am absolutely screwed while I wait for my purchase. Oh, and the return period? Starts upon purchase, so my 30 days is almost up at this point, haven't even received the item. Pretty awful all around.

I started using this site when my favorite IT guy kept referring me to them for everything little item I would need for my newest system. Cables, connectors. Everything. They are fast and competitive. And when a professional that I trust uses them regularly, what else can you say. They are very good.
This review covers several orders that I made in the past with them and all of them have been great with products in good condition, prompt delivery. I like the feature that you can filter product reviews from customers who bought from their site - it gives you more confidence if you have enough.
I purchased a refurbished desktop with an Allstate extended warranty. Its had hard drive failure from day one but we could use it by restarting 10 times a day. Since it was refurbished I thought I needed to use the Allstate protection plan. They have a 30 day window before coverage begins. Now Newegg wont take it back since it's been over 30 days and Allstate won't cover it saying it was a "preexisting Condition". Newegg has referred me to a "seller" twice and the seller claims it was not thier sale. Now I have a $300 brick with a $50 extended ""nothing" warranty.
Pathetic service. 4+ hours of phone calls, chats, emails and no one accepts responsibility. For a small business technophile with 5 desktops and innumerable "gadgets" I will NEVER use this platform again.

They didnt meet my minimum expectation. I ordered a particular case for an older phone. Only one out there... no replacements that I can find anywhere. They mailed it to the wrong address. Blamed it on a 3rd party vendor. Didnt want to give me their name. Working as an intermediary for them. I am sure I will get the refund in a week or so. Disappointing and profoundly irritating.

Deplorable customer service. Bought an item for my daughter for Christmas and they refuse to accept a return or exchange after 30 days, even unopened! This is my 2nd and final bad experience with Newegg.com.
I have been a Newegg customer for over 7 years now. Even though their prices did somewhat go up, they still offer very good deals on pretty much anything, you just have to catch those deals at the right time.
Their 'Premier' feature has a trial, it's similar to Amazon's Prime and offers some nice benefits. And their customer service has been very helpful; had some shipping issues (returned package) and they offered to re-send my items with discounted 3day shipping.
I beg all people that come on this site to tell your family, friends, relatives, co workers or anyone that you care about to avoid dealing with this company. They dont deserve anybodys business! Take it from someone whos been had from dealing with this company. Also alert anyone on social media that you know. We as hard working Americans should not be subjected to criminals of this nature. Please take heed to what im saying and thank you for exposing these tyrants!

Cheap parts, everything comes well packaged. None of my purchases. (over $2000) of computer parts arrived DOA. Very high quality. Free Egg saver shipping took about 2 days which is amazing for free shipping. Very friendly customer service, just be respectful and return the favor.

I purchased multiple orders bundled together from different merchants on the Newegg site.
In the purchasing process it listed 8 days as the expected shipping time for all three orders, however one merchant informed me that I may not receive the merchandise for 4 weeks. This was unacceptable because I wouldn't receive the items before my conference. I was able to cancel the order and receive and immediate refund.
The best way to judge a company is not when things go right but when things go wrong. They handled my complaint quickly and respectfully.

Its a good platform as for me. Everything found in one place, the prices can be sometime higher than those of the other stores but again - its all in one place. Be sure to use tracking of your parcels - those are easily lost, or thats me who is unlucky =/
I recently bought some case fans from what turned out to be there market place. The fans needed splitter so I bought that. The splitter was for 4 fans which I need so I went back to order 2 more fans and it said out of stock. I called their customer service and they told me it was market place so they had no idea when they would be getting more. I tried to cancel the splitter and their website would not let me. So long story short Ive had 2 days of calls fighting to get restocking fees removed and trying to talk to a manager they keep making excuses. They apparently dont want my business. They still owe me for the fans which I have already sent back. I dont think I will buy anything from them again. If I have a problem I want solutions not excuses

I ordered a pair of headphones that were an older model but didn't realize it until I had already placed the order. Then I saw the 15% restocking fee and cringed. Luckily, if you don't open the merchandise and either contact them in the request RMA or chat with them online, they will authorize the RMA with a full refund. That is very reasonable and rightly so but some retailers are mean. Newegg isn't!
Yes, I still go to BestBuy just to see what the newest graphics card, etc. is that is available. I never buy it from them though!: P
I highly recommend Newegg for those hardware pieces for your next computer build or rig-updating. They have great customer service and return policies, which is critical for new builders and the like since sometimes the technology just doesnt sync together properly and you have to swap out parts.
