Highly recommended for computer parts and electronics in general. Much wider selection than Best Buy, and better service than Fry's. Very quick standard shipping, usually arriving within 3 days. I've even purchased a few refurbished items, all of which continue to work.
Placed an order on NEWEGG, they billed my credit card and without any notice they canceled my order 7 days later. I only found out after I went to my PayPal account and saw it was canceled. I will never buy from them again. They also allow resellers on their site so you never know if the merchandise is legit or new. Buyer beware...
This is a great site for buying computer parts. They have the hard to find parts needed for replacements in older computers. An example: I have an old Pentium 4 system from 2001 using RDRAM, a dead format. I use it for a Home Theater PC nowadays. Then the RAM goes kablooey! Newegg not only had the RAM chip for this defunct technology, but had it in stock! Great job, Newegg!
Warning! Do not buy open box items on Newegg! Buy used electronics on eBay instead! Customer service can't tell you what is included with whatever you are purchasing! Reputable eBay sellers will tell you every detail about what you are purchasing! I bought an open box MSI Performance Gaming B350M Gaming Pro motherboard off of Newegg, and on top of not including the motherboard IO shield (motherboard backplate), it also did not include the AM4 heatsink retention bracket, which is supposedly nothing more than an accessory according to Newegg's open box policy! According to them it is a nicety that is not required to use the motherboard!

Bought a very expensive Ram, two days later it was discounted, arrived late. (DOA) Ram I tried to contact support = nothing, call = nothing, their support robot = No return available for this order, even for DOA. Useless, paid a lot MORE to get the Ram RMA and ship to Taiwan, still waiting. 3 months now, no product, no support and paying even more. I don't recommend them at all.

I have ordered all of my computer stuff from here over the past 15 years, but recently it seems that they are having othere sellers on their sight, I ordered some headphones, they were sent to another address, I went on newegg to find the seller and now they are no longer a seller on newegg, this was just a horrible experience and I wouldn't buy anything from them again unless it's coming directly from newegg and not a 3rd party.

This is one of my top choices for purchasing computer components and accessories online. They offer an excellent selection of all the things you need to build your very first computer or are just looking to upgrade some parts. I would say it is a computer builder's paradise. The website is very modern looking, laid out very well and looks sharp. It is really easy to find what you are looking for either using their search feature or their drop down products menu. They always have great deals and promotions running on all sorts of parts and accessories. If you know how to build your own computer, this is a great place to save money on the individual parts that are necessary. I have purchased a lot of computer components and accessories from over the years. They do also offer many other products, like electronics, automotive products, video/PC games-related items and entertainment furniture. But they are most well known for their computer-related products. There are third party sellers on their website, like those you see on Amazon, so if that is something you are interested in, it is available. I haven't purchase a whole lot from third party seller there, but have had no problems when I have. Just like on Amazon or eBay, I guess your experiences will be a hit or miss sometimes. Unfortunately, that is just the nature of the beast. All in all, I have generally had very good experiences with them and highly recommend them to anyone.

I purchased some memory, a DVD-RW drive, and a case. The ESTIMATED delivery dates will be 15 days after the IN STOCK items were ordered. I use the word estimated because I still haven't received any of the the computer parts.
I have used NE for years and this will likely be my last order unless the deal is very good and I can wait 2-3 weeks for delivery. They used to be soo good, RIP NE. I will be using Amazon as my first source.
PS. The parts were shipped in 2 separate shipments and I have to wait 2 weeks+ to receive either shipment.
I needed additional parts and Amazon will deliver all of the parts in 6 days (2 of the days are a weekend).

I bought a gaming PC because it was a good deal on their website, but after my experience here I will never buy another PC online again.
The one they sent me won't even power on, and now they are sold out of replacements for at least 2-3 weeks and with return shipping and replacement shipping, the whole process would take a MONTH from order to getting a computer that actually works.
I could return it and never do business with them again, but of course now the Cyber Monday deals are over so I won't find a comparable deal to what I got.
This left a very bad taste in my mouth and next time I need a PC, I'm just going to the Best Buy across the street from my house instead of wasting time with this online shop.
I ordered a desktop computer case and a case fan for a build. The fan was shipped from China, and the seller within Newegg was unresponsive to the question I asked, which was: 'what date will it arrive?'. The only response was - it's shipped. Customer service said all we can tell you is it'll arrive within a two-week window. The computer case had a front face on it with six plastic clips. It wasn't apparent until reassembly that one of the clips was broken. Instead of providing a way of replacing the front face, I was told to dissasemble the computer, find all of the unboxed and used parts, send it back, and then wait for them to send me another. Suggesting they send me a new case, I swap out the front face, and they get back a functionally unboxed product with the faulty part swapped out, was a no-go. So, two products purchased, one slow, one broken. Last time I'll ever spend money there. I'd rather send Bezos into space.

I purchased a Black Friday Sale MSI Rtx 3080 12gb from them and my purchase went through. I'd been waiting months for prices to come down enough to buy a new GPU (for my work computer). They emailed me the next day to tell me "While our website may have indicated an in-stock status, one or more items in your order were not in stock at the time your order was to be fulfilled", by which time it was also out of stock everywhere else; I had no choice but to purchase an inferior Zotac 10GB model for the same price on Amazon. If you must buy something from them, make sure to call and find out if someone can get eyes on the product. Super disappointed, likely just stick to Amazon from now on.
I ordered a JBL Cinema Base 2.2 on October 1. Shipping was to be free, they charged $10. Got shipping refunded. Recieved item, it was used and defective. Received RMA and returned it. Newegg said return was incomplete. Took 2 days but finally got someone to look in the box and verify accesories were actually there. Refund was finally authorized on October 12. I never received the refund. Newegg says they can see on their end that the refund was never issued. Newegg sent me $20 for my concerns. I'm out $139.73. (Minus the $20 discount coupon in case I'm ever dumb enough to shop there again)

I ordered 2 monitors. 1 was broken. As part of return process they sent me another monitor and I shipped back one of the two original monitors. I took GREAT care to pack everything security. Since I used box from the 3rd monitor for the 2nd monitor return, they denied my return. After asking customer service if there is anything they can do (since denying the return for that reason is awful, IMHO), I was told, they would agree to process the return, but I couldn't go to Newegg for customer service on the monitor without the retail box/return it. I agreed, and they processed my return. A thoughtful compromise to an otherwise upsetting situation.
Newegg sold me a computer for 1090$. I payed for all of it, and when I opened the box I saw they sent me the wrong model!
When I red the reviews, I saw that many people received the same wrong model!
I returned it immediately, after they apologized and promised me a full refund. Buy after a week they returned only 850$, saying that they charge me 200$ "restocking fee" for their mistake! And the 15$ I payed to return the item? Never saw them again.
NEWEGG STOLE 215$ dollars from me! DONT BUY FROM THEM!

I have not been able to order anything since I've tried. They have declined my order countless times and refuse to tell me why. After they kept automatically voiding my orders, they took all the money from the orders. 2 grand out of pocket, and they did not tell me. The bank did. I had to contact the bank to get the 2,000 dollars back and it took 5 days to get it back to me. I do not recommend newegg to anyone regardless of the "fine experiences" someone has. If you have a different billing address than shipping address they will keep declining you regardless of talking to their mortifying customer service.
Totally dishonest and unethical business. When I received a defective computer before the holiday season, I contacted them and requested a refund. Their salesperson convinced me that if I would try a replacement rather than a refund, that the replacement would fall under their iron egg extended holiday return policy and I would have the ability to return the computer if I didnt like the replacement. However, I tried to return it and they wouldnt let me. When I persisted and provided the name of the representative they stated they were unable to reach him and then stopped answering my emails. Shameful company

I recently purchased a router (Orbi) that was supposed to be up to factory standards.
When I received it, after much frustration in attempting to set t up, I discovered it hadn't even been reset to factory settings!
After making this discovery, I reset it to factory settings and managed to get it setup. Unfortunately, it continuously rebooted randomly for the next couple of days so I went online to Newegg and tried to arrange a return and exchange for a new unit.
The Newegg "assistant passed me off to an offline " technical advisor" saying I'd be charged a one time, refundable fee for answering my questions. What question? I discovered that this "service" setup a recurring monthly charge on my PayPal account for $46/month!
Obviously, I cancelled this thanks to an alert from PayPal.
I finally got a return label and today discovered I'm being charged a $45 restocking fee because the supplier plugged it in and it came on!,
Avoid? Newegg's at all costs, they'll be yours!

I love newegg! If you are thinking of buying ANY form of electronics, check prices on here before hitting up Best Buy, MicroCenter, or even Wal*Mart.
Prices are great, and even if you end up paying for shipping, you usually still wind up saving a ton.
(2/18/2011) NOT TO BE TRUSTED WITH MISSION CRITICAL ORDERS! Ordered two $1200 NAS devices for a client emergency (also added rush and overnight delivery). Rec'd an email to authorize shipping address with bank. Did this immediately and resubmitted order. Nothing from customer service that day, next morning used chat customer service (since they don't appear to provide a human to speak with). They assured me i would receive confirmation within 2 hours - Nothing! Researched on web for actual phone number, found one on another compliant site, called and customer service rep said 30 minutes it would be processed and that he would personally watch it and send email to confirm... Nothing. Canceled order and going elsewhere as we cannot meet SLA with 2+ days of processing! Sorry Newegg... wont be bringing any business to you again.
So I purchased a refurbished Raspberry Pi on eBay from NewEgg, comes in defective, nothing coming out of the HDMI Cable. Return the thing but no refund. I contacted the company weeks later not seeing the refund in my account, they claimed I had filed a chargeback with my credit card company, which is ridiculous since I had paid with paypal. Anyhow spent hours emailing back and fourth, I had to file a claim with Paypal to get my money back which I did but just a whole lot of trouble! They are either just very bad on admin issues or ill intentioned, in either case I would just shop elsewhere. Go see the feedbacks on ebay from peoples, they are just horrible

I wish I could give 0 stars... but at least they get 1 star. We purchased a TV from them and it was delivered damaged. Per THEIR directions, we repacked the TV and it was ready for pick up within 48 hours. New Egg NEVER came to pick it up... we had to keep calling them to pick it up. Now fast forward over 1 month... New Egg will not send another TV! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE Customer Service and Business Practices! I'm reporting them to BBB. Don't waste your time or money with this company. Go directly to Best Buy or Costco... better service from their competitors!

I use to use Newegg and now I find all these horrible reviews, I ordered a SATA to USB drive enclosure that was $39.99, they instead shipped me the cheaper model of a different make and model that cost $22,99. I am currently waiting on a respoce from customer service, however based on the latest reviews of thier CS I am not expecting positive results and don't want to deal with returning and waiting all over again. I rather have a refund and not in store credit and be on may way as a lesson learned consumer! I doubt seriously they will work out this to my satisfaction baed on the horrible reviews I have read. Add 1 more to the lost constomer list. Chapter 11 for Newegg may be in your future. 2 stars for now, but I'll be back when I get a responce from CS

Make sure you don't need any help, for any part of your order. Because customer care can't do a damn thing, and won't do anything. They're super unhelpful, and will give you another number to call, and then that number will call you back after you left a voicemail bc they didn't answer, JUST to tell you they can't help you.
I wasn't around for a signature and they're attempting one more time, and I wasn't even able to have them hold it at UPS, so I could go pick it up. They refused. I don't understand the BFD about picking something up from the facility. They said the seller requested they NOT hold it there. I missed the delivery by MINUTES, and they weren't able to do a single thing. They couldn't lift the restriction as far as "no holding at UPS", and they couldn't change the delivery address to help me out.
They suck. Never attempt to contact their customer care, you'll just be let down, and angry.
