Highly recommended for computer parts and electronics in general. Much wider selection than Best Buy, and better service than Fry's. Very quick standard shipping, usually arriving within 3 days. I've even purchased a few refurbished items, all of which continue to work.

Placed an order on NEWEGG, they billed my credit card and without any notice they canceled my order 7 days later. I only found out after I went to my PayPal account and saw it was canceled. I will never buy from them again. They also allow resellers on their site so you never know if the merchandise is legit or new. Buyer beware...

First and foremost I am a long time customer with Newegg. They offer a good selection on a variety of consumer electronics as well as computers and computer components. I have built 3 computers with Newegg in the span of my business relationship. They offer competitive pricing as well as excellent and quite frequent sales events. I have enjoyed their customer service, all of my issues have been addressed in a timely fashion, maybe that's not the case for some, but it has for me. In my family I was always the favorite child >_> ANYWAY! The other great thing about Newegg that I haven't seen with many other online stores is that they let you ship your items to the nearest FedEx Office Print & Ship Center. So if you're not a fan of package theft off the porch like me, this option might be good for you. I find it handy because I have mine tied into a store right up the road from where I work, on lunch I can swing by flash my drivers and leave with my loot.

Should mention on the matter of free shipping, depends what your getting, (your mileage will vary)

So that's my two Lincoln's on the subject. Give it a shot.

Purchased 2 tablets for granchildren. A month or so later, one failed to work, spent hours and hours on the phone to newegg, i had also purchased a service plan. The rudest meanest people, i used to buy from newegg, and used to like, but never never again. A cimplete rip off, most are poorly rebuilt refurbished now. May work for a short time, but be rady to waste your time and money, jyst go to Best Buy, save the hassle and $$ in the long run

Ordered Dragon Dictate for Mac. I received Dragon Dictate for Mac Version 3 and when I tried to download to my Mac it stated it was not compatible with OS X Yosemite. I called Newegg and they stated they would not take it back or upgrade the software so I could use it on They stated i may be able to sell it to someone else, but they would not refund my money or upgrade the software.
I will never buy anything else from Newegg. Later I was able to contact Nuance who sells Dragon and they stated they would be sending me a free upgrade. Those are the Companies I will do business with in the future.

Bought a wireless keyboard and mouse combo from Newegg. Well I thought it was Newegg turns out it's some third party through Newegg. Well I have a tracking number from UPS issued 3 days ago for a label but nothing has been shipped. HERE is where it gets good. I called and text and emailed customer service. I was told nothing could be done until they hear from the seller. Nevermind they have called twice and can't get them on the phone. So they finally reply to the email and it says we did not sell you this check with Newegg. Now I can't get newegg on the phone or by text or email. Looks like Newegg has bad egg on their face and now I wait. It's only $44 a price that may be to good to be true. But I would like an explanation and a refund I have my doubts I get either or my merchandise. I will never do business with Newegg. NEWEGG IS JUST A POLISHED UP BAD EGG. THERE IS A WHOLE LOT OF LIPSTICK ON THIS PIG!"

I have done business with Newegg for some time. Everything is good as long as they ship you merchandise that is working. But if something is wrong with the product you will have the devil of a time trying to get them to either: a) send a replacement or b) refund your money or c) repairing the product. They sent me a defective product and sent me an RMA number. I returned the product, but since I did not include the UPC from the original retail box, they said they could not help. Then they kept the damaged product AND my money. After three weekd I had to call the bank to get the charges reversed. Suddenly, they want to ship the product to me - only it is the original defective product. THEN they have the gall to ask me to authorize a new charge to my credit card. Stay away. Far, far away.

Trying to return a product is like pulling teeth or herding cats. RIDICULOUS
DON'T ORDER FROM THESE AMATEURS.
AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL.
I have sent multiple emails, tried chatting twice and have been on the phone 3 times.
All to return $34 in product.

It's been over a month and still they haven't shipped. When I contacted them they told me to be patient. Will never order from them again and I'll be surprised if my item ever does come.

I ordered my product not long ago, it was on the 24 of january, I waited till february 3, I was in class when i saw that they have sent an email that my package arrived so i didn t gove it too much tought (even tought he left it at the feont door) when i came back home i did not find anything. I panicked and i called them right away. Of course they told me that it s okey and should just file a claim and go to a police station to file a report wich i did. I waited 10 more days ( i called 5 times to male sure they have all my information and that my claim is still pending). Finally they just told me that they are sorry but the item was delivered at the right place and i just lost 1121$ just because i ordered from newegg. Thank you for that expirience.

Posted a early review about a horrible buying experience, receiving damaged and defective product from Newegg and only getting excuses with no resolution. They replied saying they would handle it or refund. That is a lie! Do not believe the replies Newegg post. On the phone today with a Rep and manager and the manager not only would not send replacement at same cost but called me a liar and tried to charge me more for the item I already paid for. Then when I told him I was promised it would be expedited for free he again called me a liar. Worse buying experience ever! Total nightmare! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AND DO NOT BELIEVE THEIR REPLIES TO CUSTOMERS!

Damaged & Defective Products and Horrible Customer Support & Resolutions!

Purchased two Klipsch Icon KF-28 Dual 8" 2-way Floorstanding Speakers on 8/4/18. They were delivered by Fedx all busted up and destroyed. Fedx driver told me to contact Newegg. Newegg had me send photos of all the damage so I did. After several days they got back with me and told me they would send replacements. I asked that they send UPS and mark them as fragile. Few days later fedx showed up and showed me again that the packaging was destroyed and the speakers were all busted up. Newegg customer service had me send photos again and this time stated they would get it right. At this point I have been charged for three speakers when I only purchased two, only have 1 good speaker delivered and over three weeks later they are still giving me excuses to why I have not received my order or refund. They have lied to me, not return phone calls and on 9/3/18 I emailed replyied a rep that lied about inventory and told her if I did not receive a actual phone call from someone resolving this issue I would be posting negative reviews. As you can see they do not care. Horrible products because of being defective or damaged and also horrible customer service. Still have not received full refund or replacement!

I purchased a new motherboard. The box didn't seem damaged but when I opened everything up the area where the pins connect to the CPU did seem damaged. I contacted the customer support immediately and explained the situation and they said that they would be able to replace the damaged item. I sent it back the next morning after our online chat. 6 days later I get an email saying that they cannot replace the item and that they will be returning the broken item in 3-5 days? I contacted the customer support service again trying to figure out why. They said that there policy doesn't cover damaged items. Yet I received the item in its state, returned it the day after it was delivered to me? I mentioned that I explained this to the customer service rep the day I received it and they said they could replace it. She recommended I call the manufacturing company instead?!? I feel robbed and I recommend any consumer to stay away from this company, it's a few dollars cheaper but they make there money on sending you broken parts.

I am extremely unsatisfied and upset about this transaction. I received my item with damage already in place. I sent the part back looking for an exchange. I received an email back stating, "The item number 14-103-228 VGA DIAMON|7870PE52GV HD7870 2G R was received with apparent end-user caused physical damage to blade fan." So, NewEgg just cops out of any responsibility and will not back the products they sell and WILL assume that any and all damage is the buyers fault. Furthermore, NewEgg will not service an exchange though it is within 30 days and I had to pay shipping costs to get it there. Now they are sending me back the broken item they sold me. This is outrageous! Any other vendor would have done a standard exchange without charging me money for shipping. Basically at the end, I received a message stating the aforementioned and just basically gave me a big middle finger with no response to the second message is sent.

Let me tell you this was NOT a good first experience with this company I can honestly say I will not be working with them again and I will definitely not recommend to anyone. They canceled my order int he middle of the night and the item sold out. Told me the address I put down is not on my account. That is the address on my account, haven't had a problem using it in over 2 years. Most GOOD online companies either do a second manual verification in case their system got it wrong OR send the customer a courtesy message saying the order cannot be processed BEFORE screwing the customer overt and canceling their order. Plus when the rep INSULTS the customer, makes for an even better experience! They better retrain that rep.

I ordered a ROG751J and out of the box the LAN card was defective. I tried to return it, but they won't allow it because I no longer have the newegg SHIPPING BOX. Not just the laptop packaging, but their shipping box had to come back to. So basically, even though they shipped me a defective product, they won't refund it. They told me to contact ASUS for support. I filed a claim with the BBB (https://sanjose.app.bbb.org/complaint/view/*******/c/y4at2r) and they said the same thing. No newegg box, no return. I had been warned by others that they had been burned by newegg when it comes to being shipped defective products. Guess I got my just deserves for not listening. I won't make the same mistake again.

Tip for consumers:
Go to Amazon or Best Buy or Fry's Electronics. Walmart will even treat you better so long as you don't want anything good.

I made a purchase, which was confirmed and processed, then canceled TWICE, refunded TWICE. I called my bank, egg-brains customer service twice. I text the chat agent 3x. I have the transcript them giving me multiple different reasons as to why my payment wasn't processed. The customer service people wouldn't try to fix my issue only blame my bank, me or prior customer service agents. I'm no closer to a answer 8hrs later. THE WORST PART IS, that same card at the SAME PURCHASE did process one of the parts I ordered. (now being shipped to me) even though they canceled the other 6 items on the same order and calmed my card can't be processed? I know this sounds crazy but these people are vastly incompetent.do not purchase from this website.its a scam

I tried to purchase a laptop from Newegg on the website. They charged my card and putted my order on a processing. After 3 days my order was still on processing, so I decided to contact the customer support by phone. The lady said that she will help me to speed up the process. However, after several hours I decided to check my account I found out that it was blocked. I tried to appeal the block. After two more days when I called them again I found out that I'm now permanently banned from Newegg due to issues in payment validation. I used the Amazon with the same payment method and billing address and I got all of my things delivered even faster that expected delivery date. But, Newegg straight up banned me from ever again making purchases. Everything was fine before I made a phone call to find out why it takes so long to process my order. I think they thought that I was some sort of scammer due to the fact that I have an accent and was delivering my laptop to Baltimore. It makes it clear for my that Newegg has not only the worst shipping time but also is racist to Black people. Good job.

I have a very long purchase history from NewEgg.com. In the past they have performed above average. My purchase in late July 2010 was so poorly handled and the resulting damage to my company is so severe that I will never purchase from this company again.

I placed an order early in the morning. I requested and paid for expedited shipping. By mid-day the order status had not changed so I contacted customer service via chat. The session was short, the customer service rep followed every question with "Is that all", my read was "why are you bothering me". The short conversation resulted in two tracking numbers for my order and no idea of what was shipping. I needed to know that to buy locally what was not coming next day. I did not like my experience so I submitted a poor review of "my experience". It is now the next day and I find that some of my order did ship but is now using 3 day service and not the next day I ordered and paid for. Perhaps a little petty retribution? In any case, by design or mistake, NewEgg.com has just cost me a fortune in a major lost sale in a critical new industry.

I will never buy from NewEgg.com again. My advice to you is steer clear. NewEgg.com was really bad for my business.

Recently made an order for a PC which at first was fine but all of the sudden, my account was frozen for no reason at all. Which lead to the cancellation of the order which I have been waiting for almost a week. I decided to call customer service to reactivate my account. Since I need my PC ASAP I created another account to make an order which also led to canceling all my attempts to order the PC.

This morning I examined my basement refrigerator to make me and my niece a mushroom omelette when i found out I have no eggs. I searched on Ask for the best place to buy eggs cheap and fast and I was brought to this website. I didn't find any eggs, but I am glad to say I saved 150 dollars on my Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q9300 at 2.5GHz
