Highly recommended for computer parts and electronics in general. Much wider selection than Best Buy, and better service than Fry's. Very quick standard shipping, usually arriving within 3 days. I've even purchased a few refurbished items, all of which continue to work.

Placed an order on NEWEGG, they billed my credit card and without any notice they canceled my order 7 days later. I only found out after I went to my PayPal account and saw it was canceled. I will never buy from them again. They also allow resellers on their site so you never know if the merchandise is legit or new. Buyer beware...

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY... FREE SHIPPING, yes. But at a cost. Here's how it works
Newegg hands it to UPS and they travel with it FOR DAYS and then hand it over to USPS and they travel with it FOR DAYS... Then it gets dropped off at the local post office in YOUR TOWN (when UPS could have delivered it to YOU). Then THERE IT SITS... FOR DAYS... until the post office can get it to you. NEVER AGAIN.

No! No matter what I do or say it will still be slow shipping and... returns... YOU LOST IT! Took a month to get a freaking refund. What are you guys F ing doing over there?

NEWEGG went WAY WAY Down since the last time I ordered from them. NEVER AGAIN. Too $#*! backwards for me.

I came to Newegg because a friend recommended it, and will never go back. Their customer service is rather strange, and as of now they have stolen $250 from me!

In my case, I ordered a speaker set that was incomplete (even though it was not advertised as such). Sounds confusing to install? It was. I attempted to return it unused (although I did look at it before returning it - maybe that qualifies as "used.") Newegg custimer service started out helpful, and asked me to return for a refund. I went through the whole process of packaging and returning the set. After receiving the whole thing, they bizarrely changed their mind about the refund they promised me...

And here's the kicker! They claim to have sent it back on Dec. 15, but I still haven't received the item back! So as of now, they have *stolen* $250 from me, as I don't have the item back in my possession but have not been issued an refund either!

I will NEVER buy from this company again. There is a reason why companies like this can get away with slightly cheaper prices (to the extent this place has them) - their customer service can do whatever it wants, because there is no chance they will have to deal with you face to face. Buyer beware! Go with a place that you can actually visit, or an online company that has a bricks and mortar set-up as well - or at least with a company that doesn't outright steal from its customers!

On September 26,2021 I bought an axle CV and this Monday on the way to work it was damaged and I talked to Newegg about the Cv axle warranty and they told me that the warranty was with the manufacturer so I talked to the manufacturer and told them about what happened and that they would make me validate the warranty and they said to talk to newegg and they only passed the ball to each other and I think that speaks ill of the credibility of the 2 companies because they tell you something they will not Comply

I just bought a computer on June 17th said delivery by June 23rd, Well today June 26th I get home with a note on my inside door package taken to secure location for pickup. Ok 1 Driver had to open Enclosed front porch door to put said note on house door, 2 we do not have problems with packages being taken in our neighborhood. Called Newegg was told package is not due to be delivered till June 29th. Went to secure location and told package not there and cannot pick up till they have June 27th or 28th before I will be able to pick up. Should have learned after last time I bought newegg parts 1 week late.

Will never buy from there again their Free shipping means you get it when you get it Dates mean nothing

I don't normally post anything much less a complaint, but I felt the need to share my experience trying to buy a computer through Newegg. I gave Newegg a lot (A LOT) of money on November 24th for a PRE-BUILT PC. It took them and UPS 3 weeks to pull an, again, PRE-BUILT PC off a shelf and deliver it to me. Only I never got it because they refused after I requested to leave it without a signature. I was never contacted to explain how to get it and per Newegg's policy it is automatically returned to them. Whatever I guess, except they would not return my money to me until they received the returned pc. No freaking way. They didn't charge me upon my receiving the PC. I never even looked at the box. Maybe there never was one. It could have been lost on the way back. Seriously, this felt like a scam. I got my money back on December 22nd after complaining and sending a negative review. Leaving me no time to replace with something else before Christmas. Newegg never attempted to make anything right nor try to make me a happy customer. I wanted the PC, they could have said sorry and thrown in a monitor or mouse or just offered to overnight the thing. Not only that, they have not published my review of my experience with them on their website which I uploaded on December 22nd. The only positive I experienced was it was easy to get a hold of customer service on the phone, but they just were not very helpful. STAY AWAY FROM Newegg.

While Newegg likes to claim that their customer service is available 12 hours every business day, what they refuse to tell you is that the likelihood of you speaking an actual human representative is almost nonexistent. I tried calling them to change shipping details DIRECTLY after I had placed an order. I was told I would have to wait about 15-30 minutes to speak to a representative. Over an hour later, I finally speak to a representative who tells me that I cannot change shipping details anymore because it's been too long after the order was placed. I tried to call again later to refund the order; not only did they refuse to put me on the line with a representative (instead bouncing me from robot to robot endlessly), but their phone hung up on ME. I normally try to keep my cool and remain unbiased during these customer service instances, because I know their job is not the easiest in the world. But Newegg did absolutely nothing to try to help me with me order. They made me wait over an hour only to tell me that they would not help me, and then they refused to speak to me any more. I only used Newegg because Amazon Prime (which is obviously far superior) did not have the item I needed, and rest assured I will not be using their services ever again.

I am going to make my long story short. Purchased a "Brand New" pc on 10/21... Received on 10/23 and that same day I called to notify of the issues. This PC had a CPU Temperature error and would not stay on passed 30 Seconds. I had to send it back which took another 5 days for them to receive the equipment. The equipment was received on 11/01, I was promised a 2-4 day process and a new one will be sent out. It is 11/18 on the day I write this review and I just received my first email from the company after my numeruos calls to inquire about the replacement. I ended up asking for a refund coincidentally the same day 11/11/21, they received word on the returned equipment. I was told the process would take 3-5 days... Once again its 11/18 and NOW is when this RMA was closed and I would have to wait ( you guessed it) another 3-5 days... Once this ordeal is done, I would have exactly a month to finalize a process that other companies have finalized in hours... This company promises call backs and emails, for nothing... If I could have put 0 stars, believe me I would. I honestly wish the CEO or someone from corporate were to take their time and read this message or even listen to their recorded calls... That company is a shame

Been Buying stuff from Newegg for 20 some years - The "Computer shopper"- days. But yea - Just bought a NUC and it fried out my SSD (Both bought at Newegg) I didn't save the paperwork and box for the SSD - I Returned both items - No box for the SSd so they are sending the broken thing back - I have to hassle with Samsung now. Will be using newegg as a price matcher with other companies. I bought plenty from Newegg - other price match so not to bad. Just not going to shop as much there any more. China had Bangood.com and gearbest.com for plenty stuff B&H, Ratuken, amazon, superbiiz & Best buy Price matches -

Refurbished cell phonesand other electronics for sky highprices. Has return policies, still having used up items that won't last for almost 3/4 of original price is not worth it.

After posting this issue on Sitejabber, Newegg customer service offered to again review the returned item in question. On my second attempt to return, they did accept the item and issued a store credit, not a credit back to my credit card.

I purchased a Cyber PC that connects a small keyboard to a television using a USB Device. When it arrived, the keyboard was so small the numbers and letters were barely visible. In the on line photo, it appeared to be. Full size keyboard. I contacted NewEgg for a RMA and returned the item. A month later I receive an email from them saying the item's original retail box was not returned. I immediately replied and saying the box and all items contained were shipped back, unpacked in original condition. Three weeks later I receive the item back saying they can not accept it due to the missing box. I called customer no service and was told they could not accept it. I will never do business with NewEgg again and urge anyone considering purchasing anything from them to look elsewhere. They're a scam, selling low quality, deceptively advertised items with a no return policy, no matter what they advertise. Be aware.

Ordered a laptop on 12/15, the next day it was moved from "pending" to "in transit" preventing an order cancellation. An hour after the shipping label was printed (again, so I couldn't cancel the order) I received notice from FedEx that "The Seller has Cancelled this shipment." I reached out to the seller on 12/17, no reply. Reached out to newegg on 12/20, they assured me it would be handled. Instead they emailed the seller who replied "shipment has been cancelled." Nothing else, no talk of a refund, an order cancellation, or a replacement, just "shipment has been cancelled." Again, I spoke with a customer service rep who assured me it was being taken care of. Still nothing, on 12/23 I opened a marketplace dispute. Now Customer Service is telling me I need to wait "7-10 business days" as "This is your first time reporting this issue." So they want to make sure the people who STOLE MY MONEY are aware that I'm looking for a refund. Attempts to understand why this is happening have been met by the same song and dance about "please wait" and "our team is definitely taking care of this." Newegg will steal your money and then tell you to pound sand. Never buy from them, and if you do, skip the customer support and just issue a chargeback.

After many years of me trusting them solidly, it is clear they are coming under new management. It appears their policy, to save money of course, is to simply resell returned/defective products (as openbox) to have customers review, diagnose and determine whether it works. I have now received power supplies without 110v pins, RAM with damaged connectors, and motherboards that don't LED ON for self diagnostics (cause: fried capacitors). Purchase the tools to better diagnose these events in the future, and suddenly it ships from China taking 7 weeks to arrive to deal with problems that are immediate, and their fault.

I just made 2 more purchases with them to customize and repair some PCs, which I usually provide the receipt to customers so they can see the costs and labor. Newegg placed a discount from the first purchase, on the second receipt, making it look like the parts cost $30 less than what I paid for. That was very weird! Charges/refunds coming off from one order, and showing up on another!

Then they sent me the tracking number for these orders, and they were tracking from -other people's shipments-, -last month-. I now have no tracking, and less valid receipts for my business and customers to work with. I now have to come up with excuses for Newegg. And do they expect me to fabricate these receipts an tracking and function fraudulently to maintain proper paperwork appearances?

I ordered 64GB of ram on August 24. They shipped 32GB of ram of a wrong speed. I sent it back and am still waiting for the replacement. I spoke to 4 different customer support people, none of them helped. They still haven't sent the correct item, it's now been 23 days since I ordered. The stress and problems using Newegg are not worth saving a few bucks. Order from Amazon, or BestBuy, or ANYWHERE else. NEWEGG HAS GOTTEN REALLY BAD! YOU ARE WARNED!

Have been a Newegg.com customer for years and highly recommend them. There have been some items I've received that didn't work but returning them has never been an issue.

I purchased 2 monitors from them. Less than 30 days later one fails. Not their fault of course. But I expected a quick and easy return -- that's what their return page promises. Not even close. You have to have the original box. Who keeps the box for everything they buy? They blame it on the manufacturer, but I worked in retail a long time and retailers have lots of leverage with manufacturers. Why do they need the box -- so they can sell it to someone else?
When I get a defective product, I expect the retailer to be on my side.
Never again.

Update -- Their response is total____ They sold it to me. They know the serial number of every unit they sell -- or could know if they wanted to. And it doesn't change the fact that they promise easy returns. If they are not going to live up to the promise, at least they could stop making the promise. How about this for a return policy -- "Most likely, if you want to return something you are just out of luck. If you don't want it, what makes you think we would want it. Better luck next time."

I purchased a software less than $50 in price an was promptly delivered after a few days. Then later my bank left 2 messages on my phone re: suspected fraudulent credit card activity and got an alert mail re: a $200+ credit transaction attempt by Newegg. When I called my bank they informed me that at least 3 attempt was done by Newegg to charge my credit card with the last attempt about $500+ which they all declined. So I checked the review about this site and found a similar incidence:

I have never and will never order from this site. I had someone use my Visa/Debit card to make a purchase with them. Very long story short is: I find the fraudulant charge and gather my own info to determine where the item was being shipped to. I notify the not so friendly or helpful customer service to advise them to stop the shipment because the purchase was a theft. They do this which only helps them out (I know, very nice of me to alert them). But when I try to get the info as to what was the purchase for totaling over $170.00, they tell me they can't give me any information because I don't have the thief's e-mail and password. So I ask them, "so it's ok that someone uses MY credit card, with My name, and MY phone number to make a purchase, and they can call you to get info about this transaction but I can't?" I was told yes, because it's their Newegg account... go figure.

So for me, doing business with this site is not worth it!

Newegg is my Amazon when it comes to electronics. What makes it so great? The entire experience. Their products are well categorized and easy to find, the filters you can perform on those products to narrow down your search are excellent, the reviews help you understand what to expect out of said product, and the actual delivery to your door is quick and trustworthy.

I have had issues with computer parts in the past (it happens to all of us) and newegg is always very quick to resolve those issues by either issuing a refund or a replacement unlike some other websites that merely direct you to the manufacturer who may or may not be any help. A retailer is a middle-man who purchases products from a manufacturer and delivers them to a customer with their reputation on the line. A consumer should not ever have to deal with a manufacturer. These are things newegg does extrememly well.

Its not fair to fault an electronics website for occasionally delivering a faulty product. Not to mention even in that rare circumstance, newegg is always quick to satisify its customers.

I love this website, and I love using it even more.

My experience with Newegg was anything but satisfactory. From the moment I placed my order to the moment I canceled it (5 days later) was a nightmare. I was first attracted to the promotion that was advertised on their banner. Only to learn after I made my purchase online that it was not available it was ended because they they ran out of gift card funds. Newegg did not contact me about this until I called to find out how to receive the promised gift card. They utilize deceptive and unfair advertising practices to entice customers for sales. I spoke with numerous customer representative daily about other details of my purchase - each providing different, insufficient, and conflicting information. I canceled my order because the service is slow, inconsistent, poor, and the customer representative really do not provide accurate information when questioned. Do not use this company - it is worth the few extra dollars to go to a reputable service who knows how to provide quality customer service.
