After reading all bad reviews I decided to get my order cancelled since they were taking long to dispatch it so far I have sent 3 messages which all have been ignored. They are quick to take my money but extremely slow with replies and getting my order cancelled. Avoid this scam site.

Avoid Nigel O'Hara like the plague. They offer £5 credit vouchers to anyone who agrees to leave a positive comment on this website. All carried out by way of nonsense competitions on their Facebook page.
Everybody who enters their comp "wins" a minimum spend voucher OR £5 credit if they agree to leave a positive comment here (despite no purchase having been made). When I pointed this out I was advised to leave a positive comment about their website instead!
Extremely devious and evidence that they are not to be trusted.

Would have entered a zero rating if the option was there. Dreadful service and communication. AVOID like the plague. They took my money on 15th December and promised Christmas delivery. 27th now and no reply to emails. Will contact trading standards

I too have been coned by this company. I ordered 2 Christmas presents on 4th December and its clear they have never been sent. They offer free delivery on orders over £35 and then when the items get "lost" they point out if you'd paid for delivery it would of been traceable. There customer service is awful and the replies to my emails are standardised. I was sucked in by 24 hour discount while price checking on a genuine site. Its the first time ive been scammed online and I am reporting this company to trading standards

I Love the Nigel O Hara website! Everything is so easy to find thanks to the great layout. The website looks nice and there are so many things on it that I would never of thought of buying but I have fallen in love with and just might end up getting in the future. I Love the Gorjuss range especially the figurines and notebooks. The range of wallets and lighters and beautiful watches are also great. There are so many unique and beautiful ornaments and things to be appreciated. Nigel O Hara have all of the little touches that could make a house a home. This site has drew my attention to things that I would not usually have been looking for thanks to the extensive range of brands that I have never heard of but that I am now quite intrigued by. I am glad I have found it and overall I would say that the website is luxurious, Classy and I would highly recommend it.

I have not yet purchased anything yet from this store but i have won a prize from them and i can say the communication has been excellent and the item was received very quickly
And came very well packaged so there was no damage to the item.
I would definetly purchase from them in the future and will be spending my £5 voucher i have very shortly.

Based on my personal experience this trader should not be considered if you want a risk free transaction because it operates as follows:

(1) Takes your money when they actually have no idea whether the watch in question will ever be in stock.
(2) Fobs you off with excuses when it doesn't arrive (the excuses are great by the way - lots of quality and stock checks being done).
(3) Delays making a refund when you decide to cancel (more great excuses but it's really not funny by this stage).
(4) Succeeds in getting unfavourable online reviews removed by challenging them.
(5) Scours internet forums for other unfavourable posts and threatens the host website with libel action - even years after.

Move along.

One very happy customer
October 20, 2014

One very happy customer- I bought a ps4 and controller for cheaper than anywhere in the shops which arrived last week and seeing they were on facebook, i also sent my 1992 Zenith watch back to them for a service and received it back today! Very quick and good value for money. I will definitely be back.

Awful. Ordered watch, no acknowledgement and payment taken. Had to chase after one week to be told via email that watch would be sent in a few days as they had to order from manufacturer. Chased a week later to betold watch arriving in a week or so. Had to chase and ask for refund a week later. No response this time or to my follow up email where I once again asked for a refund. In the end I had to use the Paypal dispute reolution which got my refund a day later. A bunch of liars who have absolutely no care for their customers. Still plenty of good feedback out their so my best advice is to contact then to see if the product is in stock. But then why go to the trouble, just spend a few quid extra elsewhere and at least have peace of mind.

Please never use this shop, it's clearly a scam. They hook you in with massive discounts then either don't send the product or in my case, sent me the wrong thing after 8 long weeks of phone calls to chase (being fobbed off and lied to) and worrying that I'd lost my money. A box finally arrived this morning after I gave up and asked for a refund. It's the wrong watch! I wish I'd never bothered. I've never ever had worse service. Any positive reviews for this shop read like they were written by the employees, all the genuine negative reviews on trustpilot are taken down for "missing proof of purchase". Well my proof of purchase is order no: *******. Nigel O'hara - don't bother taking this down cause I'll put it back up every day, on every website I can. Everyone - save yourselves from this nightmare of a "shop" and buy elsewhere. I wonder how Mr Nigel O'hara himself sleeps every night conning the public. Well enjoy it Mr o'hara cause you can't take it with you when you go!

I wish I'd read the reviews here before ordering. My advice to all who use them is contact Trading Standards. As was the experience for other customers, o'hara took my money then failed to deliver. Weekly phone calls to them during which I was told dispatch was imminent, were followed by a call when I asked to speak to a manager and was told I couldn't. When I persisted I was told I was being "difficult" and they had the right to cancel the goods. This was followed up by an incredibly rude email to me - but no refund as yet. In addition, it is clear they are blocking and manipulating feedback on a number of web sites - eg one says they have been offering bribes for positive reviews. If you do get scammed, like me, contact the trading standards for NI in Newtownards. *******@detini.gov.uk.

I ordered a watch advertised at sale price. 3 days later got email saying couldn't honour price, I could pay more or get refund. I requested refund, which has still not been paid 2 weeks later. I have since found many reviews confirming that this outfit should be avoided no matter how good the deal looks online.

They do not hold stock, even though it looks like they do. They will take weeks to deliver. If you ask for a refund they will take over a month. Avoid if you need assured and timely delivery. I had to use charge back on my credit card!

I'll keep it short and simple, if you value using a company with any morals and customer service do not go to Nigel O'Hara. There prices may look inviting with the 24hr offers, this is why I made an order. 9 weeks on I have been told numerous times that the watch is 'In Transit' or "It will be with you by the end of the week" week after the week the same lies
I have twice requested a refund if I did not recieve the item within the week and both times promised I would. They have been very reluctant to process a refund until my final e-mail threatening legal action if they did not return my money... I am now awaiting a fufund which they tell me could take upto 28 working days!

Just pay the extra money and save the agro

Ordered a watch that said in stock for my Dad's 70th birthday - well beyond estimated delivery date. 2 MONTHS later and lots of email conversations later (all prompted from my end) I still had no watch & eventually gave up & requested a refund. Customer service not great when they did respond, communication regarding order status dreadful, apologies & desire to help lacking. I ordered same watch from First Class Watches online and it was delivered next day - cheaper, putting Nigel O'Hara to shame. Use them at your peril!

Did they take the money from your card within 24 hours?
Were they up front with stock availability, or did you get the 3 to 5 days delivery time?
Did you place your order before reading the online reviews?
Have you had the "later this week or early next week email"?
Are you still waiting for delivery?
Have you had subsequent fobbing off emails?
Are you now regretting placing the order?
Do you feel like a muppet for being caught out like that?
Have you got as far as cancelling the order?
Have they said it would take 5 to 7 working days for the refund to be credited to your card?
Or 28 days in extremely busy periods! Remember how it took less than 24 hours to take the money from your card in the first instance.
Have you had your repeated emails responded to with stock responses which make it abundantly clear that your email has not been read at all?
Do you feel like dragging their name through all social media available to you, plus trading standards plus every review site you can access?
Are you bitter and twisted? Yup, me too!
I have never had such a shoddy service as an online shopper and therefore, based on my experience, I will never go anywhere near www.nigelohara.com again.
