I am renting a server at nitrado to host an ark server. We have done several changes and managed to make a boo boo. Contacted customer support and Alejandro Chavez was assigned to help me. He provided excellent help to me. And our server is now back to full normal status. I'm very happy with this server host, and the support they provide. I also want to say this has been resolved so quickly, and that has been during Christmas holidays!
Garbage company that will give you a terrible server. Doesn't matter the game, if you have ANY other choice go with them.
I have purchased a server back in January. I have stopped playing the game in May and tried to cancel many times. There is no cancellation button for the server so i was getting charged for the next 3 months and wasnt notified by email I am getting charged until THIS MONTH September of 2023. I messaged the support team and they only issued me a refund for this month and not the other months. This company is desperate for money and does not care about you being inactive in a server. They claim I never tried to cancel even when there is no cancellation button. What a Joke! DO NOT BUY A SERVER FROM THEM! THEY WILL ROB YOUR MONEY!

After I bought my server I've only had issues (Space Engineers and Ark) Crashes, Server not responding, Rollbacks, Lag, Loosing worlds and progress and more. I will say the support is alright a bit slow but that's fine since they manage to fix most of my issues for a few hours before they appeared again.
Tip for consumers:
Choose a different one if you can, or if can't I hope you get lucky since this apparently works for some people.

The servers overall are pretty good I guess. Timeouts happen a bit. But whatever you do... DO NOT pay for upgraded server hardware for performance. It's a scam. You will see zero change

I switched from Gportal because I wanted to use Beacon with ease who go through Nitrado, I was told nice things about them so I went with it. Biggest mistake of our lives! Their customer service is horrible, when they do respond their "solution" for everything is (We can move your server to a different machine to discard hardware issues) like what if its NOT a hardware issue, I'm sorry but I think they're scripted and don't actually know tech support for the servers at all because that's their answer all the time instead of helping me understand what could cause the server crash in the crash log. Absolutely insane and super upsetting but until I can find another place worth going to for ARK I'm stuck with them. They also change your IP address and move "machines" without your permission even when you said NO. I wish I could say something nice about it other than the usage of Beacon Ark but...I have nothing nice to say. Hire people who are not being paid dirt and rupees from poor countries and get people who actually can work with you to solve the real problems.
Tip for consumers:
Be aware you're better off wracking your brain for hours trying to figure out a problem on your server than going to support. I've now had 7 new IP addresses in the last two days because switching the machine hardware is their main solution. Ya know if your car runs out of gas just abandon it and go buy a new one with half a tank...duh lol

I rented a 7d2d gaming server and from the moment I logged on, the server would restart over and over.
Contacted support, and they switched me multiple times to different servers, did a bunch of stuff, finally after about 10 days, I was actually able to use it for a few days, only to log on a Thursday night, ready to play and poof, connection lost, server rebooting again over. I called support they said they would escalate to some other support and would contact me in the order received.
Well that was on the Jan 27th, and still no contact, server is still stuck and they don't respond to tickets now.
Worthless company and the worst support ever.
They did give extensions for my problems, but pretty useless if you never get to log on to use it.
UPDATE: 02/07/2022
I asked for a refund, and they gave me most of my money back very quickly, a few days in fact.
In my review i stated they call me, I meant to say they would contact me, either way they NEVER DID to resolve the server issue!
I was with this company previously and never had any of these issues, sad to see their support has degraded so much.

Started a Farm Simulator to play with my grandson on his Xbox and he was able to connect one time and we playied. He was never able to connect again. Support was crap.

Terrible servers that can be Ddosed by a potato. But the most frustrating thing is that our customer support tickets are now been ignored when asking for help for the last 9 days.
Servers purchased from Nitrado are easily Ddosed. Currently I have 12 servers with Nitrado. All of which are Ddossed dail, shutting the servers down and rolling the ingame save point back. Now the save filed are corrupt as the servers keep getting attacked and what i was told on the phone before the support hung up was there is nothing that can be done.
We have spend 1000's of dollars on these servers to be told nothing can be done. Thank you for killing our cluster with your terrible customer service and Ddoss protection. We will NOT be purchasing anymore servers from Nitrado... EVER...

Its not worth the heart ache watching a cluster of 1800 people die and it been allowed by Nitrado. Its obvious Nitrado only care about making money.

Servers are stuck in the status "restarting". A solution is already being worked on 4 day on my server and long time support reply

I purchased an Ark SE server from these parasites because of their exclusivity agreement with Xbox. I spent many months having panic attacks over Ark updates because each and every time Nitrado pushed them out we lost HOURS worth of progress. Any logical person reading this will be like "Well. You should have made backups of your saves." That would be an entirely fair thing to say, but here is the thing. We weren't allowed to make manual backups. They happened automatically whenever Nitrado deemed it so. So. Backing up the save before they pushed the updates out? Yea. Not happening.
Don't even get me started on the customer service. Their employees are the most overworked and underpaid slaves in the gaming industry. These people can barely stand to make it through their day and you have to ask them for help on your server. Do you wanna know what the customer service rep is for? They get to tell you that they can't resolve your issue because Nitrado doesn't allow them the resources and ability to actually provide customer service.
They are going to be the only exclusive server host for Ark SA and Ark 2 for the next 7 years. They will change you way more than any other server host. On top of that you'll get the worst experience ever conjured by the horrors of mankind. It's not even about the money, it's just that bad. I would rather pay GPortal 100 dollars a month for a server than take Nitrado's offer. At least on GPortal my server would actually work.
So all those horror stories you hear about Nitrado's services on the internet? Yea, they're 100% true. You might think that these issues won't happen to you but they absolutely will. Save your money, get another service or don't buy the game if you have no other option.

So me and a friend were looking for cheap low slot ark servers. I cam across this one. I went to order an ark server with 4 slots because the option was there and the price was at 5.75 cad. So i went to place my order and said i needed an account so i was like ok. Made one and then went to place it again and it was grayed out screen with a pop up saying you need to charge your account with money. Ok. So i get my friend to donate 3$ and i charged 5$ in total it was 8$CAD. When i went to order again it said minimum slot was 8 and that it now costed 14$CAD. I wanted my money back so i went to support. They said
Again, I am very sorry for the missunderstanding on the webpage of us. We do not want to rob our customers.

The money was taken out of the account the next day. A week later no money was refunded and i had to escalate the dispute on paypal. They basically stole my money.

The servers barely run anything, constantly crash, are down constantly and customer service is non existent. This company is literally a meme.

Price of the service is correct.
The service itself is good when it works, but when it does't...
During last 3 months i had to deal with Nitrado's support a lot.
Each time it took them minimum a day to reply, and usually the reply would be
"We noticed that the your problem is solved, let us know if you need anything else"
And 99% of the times problem was not solved.
At this point i don't even bother opening support tickets, for what? To waste my time hoping they will fix the problem, when i can just wipe the server and save myself and my players time.
There are problems that they simply cannot fix. Server stuck on roll back? If you open a support ticket, you going to waste days, if not weeks of your time waiting for them to tell you "unfortunately, this issue can't be fixed other than by doing a reinstall and resetting your XML files to default", since then i learned that doing a roll back fixed the problem, not from a support staff, but by myself.
Server is experiencing terrible performance problems? They are going to point at your XML files again, and suggest you to reinstall + reset the files to default.
Pretty much any problem you experience, you will be told to do a re-install and reset your xml files to default.
French support staff is a shame, they the most incompetent staff i had to deal with.
"Hello, my server can't restart.
French: try to wipe it.
Several times where support team simply refused to help me and closed the ticket without answering.
Some staff members don't read tickets fully, and just look if server has players in it, and assume that the problem i am reporting is fixed. This type of incompetence makes you waste days, because it takes them a day to answer you.
They need to train support staff more, they contradict each other in answers, majority of them have no idea what they doing, give wrong information about some server functions, i have some other things i know, that happened not too long ago, but i will keep that for myself.
Tip for consumers:
If you experience problems with your server, such as server rolling back, lagging, bad performance, crashing, not showing up in browser = do not waste your time with support, try to do a roll back, if it does not work, then just re-install the server. Save yourself time.
