I am renting a server at nitrado to host an ark server. We have done several changes and managed to make a boo boo. Contacted customer support and Alejandro Chavez was assigned to help me. He provided excellent help to me. And our server is now back to full normal status. I'm very happy with this server host, and the support they provide. I also want to say this has been resolved so quickly, and that has been during Christmas holidays!
Garbage company that will give you a terrible server. Doesn't matter the game, if you have ANY other choice go with them.
I payed for a Farming Simulator 22 server, the server either keeps restarting on nitrado website, or when website actually says it starts trying to join in game results in the loading screen being trapped on 10% loading. Would recommend staying clear of nitrado and choosing another company.

Their Mods field in the server configuration files page stopped adding mods. When I opened a support ticket they told me that adding new mods requires creating a new world. Completely untrue. You can add mods one or five at a time all you want, and I've done it on their configuration tools before, but it doesn't work now. However, after pointing this out to them and telling them that their own web pages on how to manually add mods were broken and do not display to users, they basically just gave me a shoulder shrug and said that they only support hardware and not configurations. I told them over and over that I'm asking them to support THEIR web page and THEIR own configuration tool, but they simply refused to do it. I will never attempt to use their service again. I'm giving them an additional star above 1 because their hardware was good and I didn't have any problems with lag or performance.

This host is terrible, They have the worst gui i have used. Very few features and even there wiki goes down Go anywhere else and save money and have a better experience these guy are 10 years behind the rest.
I did not end up staying with these guys but I will say they tried very hard to make things right & to run smoothly for me being I had the lower priced hosting & there was never any lag no matter how I set things in game & anyone who has played ARK knows that it is a resource hog from hell with a lot of settings. They even let me swap between games, refunded me left over portion of money not used, and was just down right awesome.
If you want a... good game server host who will go out of their way to make you feel important & do right by you. Go server.nitrado.net!

No idea why they get so many bad reviews, but if you will notice they are the only company that Microsoft chose for hosting ARK on XBox One. That alone aught to tell you something.

As Bohemia stand alone DayZ is only available on Nitrado, you are very limited. The price is very reasonable and the support crew responds overnight but the reliability of the servers located in Miami leaves a lot to be desired. Seems we have more "stuck in restart" than run time. After submitting a support ticket, I got a speedy response but nothing changed, Frustrating for sure and to make it worse, I got an email asking me to auto-pay for more months. I have to believe this can be done better. My son is a server admin for a major bank and agrees that the response should not take days to figure out but maybe 24 hours at most. Nitrado... you can do better, please see to this problem. Thanks.

I rented a server in hopes to get to play with me and my friends.
The most important custom settings were missing and we wanted to add the commands.
None of the official commands worked in game through the server.
When I contacted support about it, I got a lengthy condescending answer how that is not what support is for and to look into their forum.
In the forum my post got deleted because it was "answered" in another post from June 2020 - bwt it was not, the person in there gave up like me.
If you want a stable server, yes they are ok.
If you want customer service that is non existent, then this is perfect for you.
I found a better more user friendly competitor.
No refunds.

We had an issue with a server that refused to boot. Our support technician, Samuel Miguel figured out the issue within minutes, offered to fix it and then did it. It feels good to have a support service that does not ask you whether your computer is powered or if you are connected to the internet when the issue obviously lies elsewhere.

If you're looking for the following, you've come to the right place:
1. Worthless Technical assistance
2. Shaky server stability (at best)
3. Mediocre pings
4. Ticket response times usually within the same decade
5. Enjoy explaining the technical aspects to their Technicians
6. Bullied into using their monopolized crossplay service (only host that Xbox can use)
7. FTP service? Ha, you thought there was a positive. No FTP storage.
8. Basic features such as a working map, have been broken for OVER A YEAR.
9. Since May 18th (21 days ago) the TWENTY servers we pay for every month randomly reboot, randomly throughout the day.
10. The web interface does not work for wiping your server - must call their Support. See #1.
11. My post is about to be character limited, else I could sit here until 2024 telling you why to avoid this $#*! show.

Worst customer service i have ever had to deal with. My server has been down for 10 days, and the only thing thy answer is the standard "we are working on it" but i'm sure that it is just a BOT. I asked them to send me my savefile but no anwer. Stay away!

I have used 3 other server hosting sites and If I wasn't forced into using their servers though underhanded a monopoly I wouldn't touch this site and be happily using one of their competitors. They have no idea what they are doing despite being a older server hosting site and will blame everyone but themselves for any issues that are happening. Just avoid like your life depends on it. If you're banging your head against a wall trying to play a certain dinosaur game. I'm so sorry.

I have rented several different servers through nitrado over the past few years and also have one running for nearly 3 years nonstop now and had no bigger problems. I don't know why many complain about bad performance, I basically never had problems in that regard.
The only problem I remember was when for a few days the performance of my server got very laggy, but that has been resolved quickly through their support service.
Price to performance is also very good.
Overall reliable hosting service, can definitively recommend. (at the very least for Minecraft and GMod, as those have been used by me)

Thanks to Elias Harmon I was able to recover my ARK survival evolved server. He was kind and fast.
Often whenever there are updates my server breaks, also randomly the server will delete the save files. I don't know if this is ark's or nitrado's fault but at least there 's always someone willing to recover my server.
Tip for consumers:
Don't purchase the RAM upgrade for Ark servers. It doesn't effect them.

Purchased an Ark server in early april and have not yet been able to log into it. Admittedly I have very little tech skills but it doesn't take a genius to see that something is wrong when the "restarting server" timer is locked in a loop, and when it does start it never shows up in the que.
Nitrado has failed to provide service for multiple gaming servers. Originally we tried to host a 7 days to die server and it wiped, corrupted and was unable to replace. We switched to ARK hoping it was a fluke. That server was also corrupted and wiped 2 weeks in. Today we have experienced yet another customer support agent telling us that the server we have been using for funny enough, 2 weeks, is now corrupted and needs to be wiped/backed up to the beginning. I will never do business with this company again and hope no one else does. They also do not have professionals in their customer service. It takes way too long to hear back from them even in a live chat setting it can take up to 10 minutes for a response after they initially say "Hello, *customer name*". I have attached our most recent experience with their customer service showing that they fail to provide a functiional service yet again.
Tip for consumers:
Stay away and find a reliable service with actual people that know how to host a server. Nitrado is restricted by how much they can assist with as their support has limited education in keeping up with maintenance and prevention.
ARK: Survival Evolved also had/has a contract with this company and the game fails to keep their customers happy due to constant server issues I would think are absolutely related to Nitrado. Stay away and dont allow your business to be sucked into a cheap bid.

Terrible server quality for the expensive costs. The platform is a buggy steaming pile of horse-radish. The user interface is convoluted, some of the features are bugged and don't properly work. Navigating to the right page is just a pain sometimes. Donation feature is a hit or miss. Tried sending a friend some balance and it ended up charging my account instead when I clearly used the donate feature to enter his name, the amount, and then charge my card. But nope! Trying to get ahold of customer support to help resolve this is like trying to get a stick out of your $#*! without using your hands and feet.

I was supriced that some steam games offering this hosting company. I ordered services 2 days ago and 2 servers have issues with crashing, not working and restarting. Support is slow and they don't give you any good solution
Very $#*!ty and unstable gaming experience, we were 4 players online, unable to do anything due to lag and the best that support can tell, after few days waiting for an anser is that they solved the problem; which is not...
Even after upgrading the server to the best they offer; it is not possible to play the game, but also, it is not possible to change the game, delete files or anything..

The servers go down at least once an hour, or you get removed due to someone deciding to DDOS the server. The staff are dismissive and come out with ridiculous statements saying how you should expect issues with servers when a game comes out. No, you should not expect issues, these should be sorted before release and the server provider should have reliable servers in the first place
So I want to be able to chose exact times for server restarts and its is not allowed... Here is the lame excuse they use. You get a random 10 minute interval. So if you choose 1 you have to choose a random 10 minute slot. This really $#*!s up your server message warning. So now you cant edit the server message to warn of the exact restart time.

Petition Bohemia to change their Hosts. There's 100's of Hosting companies out there that do a much better job. Nitrado monopolise and are only interested in the money.

I had 72 people in my server and when it would get almost full sever would sever load symbol would come on and ask nitrado fix... and they change my ip without asking and lost every one been days and only 5 people now since ip change and lost my listing dzsa launcher that i paid a lot money for and now my sever is dead 82 slot sever down 2 5 people...before i got ahold of them paid 55$ extra ram this sever hosting will make u lose everything as soon as i can ill fiend different sever hosting i will im paying over 100$ monthly just get treated like trash

Nitrado is hosting all of the official ASA servers, this is by far the worst experience in crashing and rollbacks i have ever experienced. The servers crash every 5-15 minutes for 1-6 hours straight and unsave everything. The servers keep repeating this so its impossible to get anything done. We have been in the loading screen longer then we have been playing the actual game.

I feel it would be helpful to have known how terrible this Server host was going to be before buying ASA for 42 dollars.
