I'll say, the stores, absolutely yes. Online, absolutely NEVER AGAIN. Nordstrom merchandise, at a discount, with Walmart customer service. If that. Merchandise, excellent. Customer service, a total fail. Not to mention the actual site itself, which barely works, sometimes, when it feels like it. And FYI, it's not about clearing my cache or using the app, you dorks. Your site just sucks!
At one point I had to even open a BBB case, because the customer service sucked so much. Seriously? Come on guys. Fortunately a Nordstrom Rack just opened in our area. Problem solved. Always great shoe selection, in fact that's the main thing I buy from any Nordstrom Rack. Some pretty good selection on clothes too, but a little hit or miss on plus size clothing, mostly a miss.
Got some super cute Uggs at a great price, plus some great rain boots and other boots as well this winter, before our local Nordstrom Rack opened. Merchandise great, almost always, but again, and I cannot stress this enough, customer service is an absolute abomination! Fire them all and start from scratch.
As an Elite Member of Nordstrom and their spin offs, I quit. Christmas 2020 was a disaster…… products not delivered, wrong sizes, no customer service. But I forgave them, even had to pay them for items not received. But it's 2021/ 2022 and I try again, cash in some points get a hundred dollar gift card, place an order Total 389.57, so gift card only covered a portion.
I get a notification the next day my order was cancelled, why? I email, I call…. No one can explain or return my 100.00 gift card. This was the 16th of January, I have emailed the support center and called everyday since, yes I'm a pest but I want answers and my money back, neither of which they seem to want to provide. Today they say wait until Feb. 5th snd we might have some answers. I will wait but expect nothing. This is just not a company I choose to do business with any longer! And you shouldn't either, their stock is tumbling and they are in trouble, don't get caught up in their mess! Nordstrom used to stand for customer service above all, now I believe that stand for "Screw the consumer and basically stealing."
Yes I'm angry, I've spent hours trying to resolve this, I'm done.
BEWARE of Nordstrom Rack online security and customer service
The first time I place an order with Nordstrom Rack, someone immediately breaks into my account and spends over $1,000. Their online security is obviously very poor. I order online from countless companies and never had this problem. The customer service has been above and beyond a nightmare on top of their poor online security. For the order I did actually place, I returned 8 items, and they only refunded me for 1 item. After more than 3 hours on the phone (mostly hold times waiting to be transferred to someone who cant help me and none of these people seem to be shocked by the horrible experiences Ive had and only experiences Ive had with them). Then a supervisor says they received 5 items back. (Yet, they only refunded me for 1) Later he says 7 items. Then he says he cant talk to me about my account because its closed due to the fraud. Three hours on the phone, not even close to being resolved, they still owe me money, and my account was compromised because of them. Ive been on a hold for another hour just waiting for a supervisors, supervisor. Reporting to BBB.
Always follow Nordstrom Rack because of you can find very expensive items for less than 10 dollars. In comparison to Dillards you can find bags here 30-20 dollar less.
I ordered quite a few things online last summer and nothing was shipped. Items prob cost me 600 or more, I had to chase them down all summer for refunds. I got emails sporadically over the summer saying the items aren't in stock- stuff I ordered months prior. I called, emailed and no response was not until the store opened I went in and talked to customer service and got a refund here and there, hopefully for all the things I would have to go back months months bank records matching up the payments and refunds. I thought I would give them one more chance for a good deal online because they said they ship with in 5 days. Well I just got an email saying they r working on shipping. I think if something isn't for sale- don't list it for sale and take payments. I love the stores- shopping in person is great- use the stores don't order online u get fleeced. I don't know how it's legal to do that to folks. I should add that I have made plenty of purchases online and some major ones for winter coats from saks off 5th, Alice and Olivia, Micheal Kors, Aquatalia, TJMaxx, for example- these companies have had no problems what so ever shipping their items they sell. Again I would say protect yourself and don't order online from Nordstrom rack- go into the store the store is great online is at best a scam.
I ordered three items on Sept. 15th.
I still DO NOT have my items by Sept. 26.
Checked tracking number - says it was delivered - it was not.
Had to call NR for them to tell me there was a 'glitch' in the system and they would have to resend my items.
NR then told me they could not fill 1 item and would only be sending 2 items.
I asked for a complete refund due to annoyance in shipping times.
They REFUSED to give me a refund, saying I would have to wait until receiving my package.
It is now OCTOBER 4th, NO PACKAGE. NR DOES NOT KNOW WHERE MY PACKAGE IS IN TRANSIT (BLAMES USPS). AND REFUSES TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK.
NORDSTROM RACK STEALS MONEY FROM THEIR CUSTOMERS.
3 days after my order they emailed me to let me know they canceled my order because the item wasn't in stock. This was my first time using this site. I won't be back.
I am so disappointed with my experience shopping online with Nordstrom! First, I found two outfits for my wife for Christmas gifts. I wasn't able to completed the order at the checkout section online and had to call by phone to completed to my order. Sadly after I completed my order of the two outfits, I received an emailed informing me that one of my orders were cancelled because it wasn't in stock! And secondly the other outfit arrived to Houston. Therefore the tracking number showed the order all being delivered to the Nordstrom rack store, but after many many calls to the store no one was able to find my order. I purchased my order on 12/11/2020 and it arrived at the store on the 12/23/20. Sadly my order was lost in the Nordstrom rack store! I WILL NEVER SHOP ONLINE WITH NORDSTROM AGAIN!
What happened to Nordstrom Rack? I have bought so often from them over the years, that I didn't even check their pricing when I purchased about $1000 from them on Dec 31,2021. I assumed Rack's pricing was the lowest, based on my past experiences. I assumed Rack was being truthful when they claimed their $52.97 price tag was 24% lower than market price of $69.99 for

Since making that purchase, I have researched the competition's pricing which is easy to do. In an instant, I pulled up dozens of competitors - all priced CONSIDERABLY LOWER than Nordstrom Rack. Rack was the highest priced with every single product search. And that price tag that claimed they was 24% lower? It was completely false. The original price at every other store was $37.99 or $39.99 for a set of 2, about $25 for 1 - ORIGINAL price. I looked up Nordstrom Rack's pricing adjustment policy and, guess what? They don't offer price adjustments. Here's what their website says: "At Nordstrom Rack stores and nordstromrack.com, we work hard to offer competitive prices on everything we sell. With this effort in mind, we do not price match or make adjustments, as our prices change often to ensure the best possible value, every day." So, guys, looks like Nordstrom Rack is taking advantage of people who trust the Nordstrom name and believe that Nordstrom Rack is still a discount store. I'll be returning my $1000 worth of purchases which is a big bummer.
I have never encountered such stuck-up snobs in my life and I grew up around a lot of rich self-entitled prickes. Both the downtown Portland and the Hillsboro locations have the worst people I've ever met. Now granted my husband and myself don't always match up to their standards of attire but we spend a fair amount of money with Nordstrom's and I think we should be treated just the same as everyone else is. The customer that are usual shoppers there of course are just as bad most of the time and in fact I told my husband just today in the store "honey someone actually was nice to me in here today!" Sad I should be amazed but that's the norm at these stores, that and lost prevention following us the whole time instead of watching actual thieves. My husband found some sucker half sucked on in the middle of a isle and when he went to hand it to an employee the employee was just annoyed said nothing took the sucker and walked off then set it on some other display shelf. REALLY?!?! Not only was it a lawsuit waiting to happen it was down right disgusting. My husband and myself like Nordstrom's and have spent good money at the rack and dept. store but I don't think anything they sell is worth all the bs. I have done nothing to these sad excuses for people nor have I given them any reason to think I'd steal and to be treated like I have is uncalled for and is just plain pathetic. Shopper Beware you may get profile by the@**holes and treated so bad that you just say FU and go about your life with such negative judgemental people left in the dust. So NORDSTROM RACK F**K OFF!
While shopping, I noticed a $400.00 pair of Magnanni shoes priced down to $179.97. I was in need of a new pair of dress shoes so o figured that they were a steal!
I purchased the shoes on 6/14/16 and I wore them for the first time on 6/19/16.
I realized today that the leather on toes of the shoes was absolutely shriveled off!
As anyone else would do, I returned to the store and attempted to return them.
The clerk immediately said "Nope, I can't take those back!" Without even looking at them thoroughly. She then continued to call me a liar and told me that she's "dealt with people like me before". What does that mean?
She took them to the manager and without the manager even coming out to confront me, the clerk returned saying "There's no tags, we can't return them, bye bye!"
I told her no one wears shoes with the tags on and showed her the glue from the tags is still there! She didn't bother to look and continued saying "I've seen this gimmick before, bye bye".
Me being a gentlemen, I told her I'd contact the store manager and left while her co-worker apologized to me for her incompetence.
After calling the store, the same manager declined to return the shoes! This is absurd!
I will no longer shop at the Nordstrom Rack in Troy, MI.
A bonafide value -- the location in Littleton, CO is better than Belle Isle in Okla. City -- it IS the Nordstrom product and good quality and value -- would give it five stars in the Colorado area -- no experience with online since we have the store here.

Return taking so long online even my order shipped to Return Department but still took for every to be complete for return. I think Nordstrom Rack needs to hire more customer at Return Dept.
Placed online order 10 days ago. Confirmation said shipment would occur in 2-4 days. On the 4th day I received an email that there were 'problems' with shipping, no new date was offered, I could cancel if I like, and after 30 days I would receive a refund. I contacted on the 7th day via online chat, 3 agents, no satisfaction. Asked to cancel my order was told they would look into it as my order is in the pipeline but I could expect to receive an email. On the 9th day, I called. Nothing in file indicated that the previous request had occurred. Was told a request to cancel would be submitted and that a supervisor would contact me via phone. Nothing. On the 10th day, I called. I was told that the cancellation request was submitted on the 7th day and that it could take another 24 to 48 hours to complete. It was suggested that I call back Monday to find the status. I'll be calling back tomorrow and every single day until I receive my money. I will NEVER shop here again. If you chose to purchase, you do so at your peril.
On December 12th, I placed an order on Nordstrom Rack. I ordered a pair of tank top for $4.78, a pair of tennis shoes, and a pair of sandal. I also ordered a pair of sweater pants. The total order exceeded $100 so I thought I would get the free shipping. When I checked out, however, I saw the order including the tank top, the tennis shoes, and two pair of the same sandal but no sweater pants, which was out of the stock. Since my order still exceeded $100, I decided to keep the extra pair of sandal so I could give it to my girl friend as Christmas gift. My mistake was not review the final order again after submitting it as I was in rush.
The order came separately, the tank top and tennis shoes came first. One pair of sandal came a few days later. I thought it was strange that only one pair of sandal came so I went on line to check my order. I found out that my tank top actually was charged with $10.78 and only one pair of sandal was included, which brought my order under $100 and I was charged with $7.95 for shipping.
I contact the representative on line, who was rude and unaccommodating. She said I should check my order next time but she did not explain why the tank top price went up or what could possibly happened between the screen when I placed the order and the one showed the final order. By the way, the shipping slips coming with the products did not list any price.
To customers who would order products on line, please check your order carefully before placing it. As for me, I would not shop on line again.
I do not like Nordstrom Rack, I think the mess and lack of space to move reflects the little respect offered to customers. I bought a fwe items online and was sort of pleased. Today, ia received a package with a bunch of summery t-shirts. Two of them, and a dress were not of the quality expected, so I decided to return the items, and was instructed to return them at the closest store. To my surprise I was issued a partial refund, so I called the store. I waited hours, on a series of brief holds interrupted by rude and condescending remarks regarding my expectations, and how greatful I should be for getting a refund, as a one time courtesy. So, no. I am not greatful. Instead, I feel douped, disappointed, defrauded. And this is not about the few dollars refunded, but the way a customer service manager scolded me, just trying to make me feel bad about attempting to get the refund I was entitled to. The items returned were as originally packed, tagged and straight out of the box I received that same day. No reason to question that transaction!

Answer: It took roughly 2 to 3 weeks to process my order. I placed a similar order with a different company and received the items by the end of the same week.
