This company is amazing from the time I ordered it 3 days ago. To the time my goods were delivered. The sales man was amazing Paul Welsh. The delivery drivers were outstanding I could not of asked for no more absolutely amazing. I was informed by email and text all the way though my order thank you so much
Buy from anywhere else! Worst company, worst delivery drivers, worst furniture! Badly made and easily broken! So easy that almost everything they have delivered has arrived smashed! Even after promising quality checks at warehouse and upon delivery! Absolute joke! I'd be better off making my own! If you want to buy from here make sure you still have your old sofa just incase as you might be without one for a very long time! Delivery times are comical too! Apparently because they are hand crafted...clearly by pigeons! Employ skilled people if you want to charge those sort of prices! EDIT* They offered me £150 off my current sofa (that I have on finance) or £350 in store...we took the £350 and have ordered some furniture (table and chairs etc) let's see how these turn up...still have to wait weeks for them though! Will update when they arrive!
Purchased a leather sofa 3 years ago, after a year noticed webbing under recliner was splitting. Contacted Oakfurnitureland who told us to contact warranty company. Only structure and damage covered. The sales person told us everything was covered so now have a sofa with foam coming out the bottom of recliner. Just discovered the webbing between the seats has split. What a waste of money.

Put mobile number in when looking at the finance options on a nice looking table, decided against it in the end. Since then they have been badgering me and called me 11 times in under a week! I never even opted in that they could contact me, definitely against data protection!
Delivered a faulty sofa twice - both times it was poorly packaged and damaged in transit on top of having manufacturing faults. It was clearly a faulty line of sofas which they were aware of - the delivery guys said this was a known issue but OFL keep on pushing out the sofas anyway hoping people will keep them and just opt in for someone to come in and repair them, pretending not to know about the issue. Their customer service start off very polite and become very unfriendly super quick when you refuse to accept someone coming round in 5 weeks time to upholster what is clearly a faulty, low quality item that you've paid full price for. Truly poor quality products and poor customer service. This farce has been going on for 3 weeks now and no closer to a resolution. I'd advise staying away from this retailer
The bed came with the headboard snapped in half, it must have been run over or chucked off a cliff. The side draws were also smashed. The mattress also came with a large stain in the middle, disgusting. Customer team are a nightmare.

After waiting 12 weeks for deliver our TV unit and side table turned up, the side table was scratched and the TV unit door was broken and it had scratches!
I contacted their customer service and they gave me £40 off the table and offered the same off the TV unit which I declined and said I wanted a new one!
They obliged and the new TV unit came, in initial inspection the TV unit was fine but after having it only a month the wood has split at both sides of it! I can't believe the wood quality is so poor! The wood also seems to scratch very easily! See photos below which show the splits in the wood! I am so disappointed as I have used this company in the past and my previous experience was very positive but I would no longer recommend them at all Stay away!
We bought a Welsh dresser and it's the worst thing we've ever bought and we're 50+! The wood is terrible, each plank is completely different and so the spread of colours makes it look like it's just thrown together, it's ugly. The doors are not squared in the opening so they're not aligned and there's gaps. The wood has now warped and so the doors are twisted. Overall, it looks like something your kid makes at woodwork and you try and smile and say it looks okay but you know it's rubbish. We tried to get it sorted but they refused to even acknowledge the problems. Please don't buy anything from them you WILL regret it I promise. It's junk.
We have bought some furniture from Oakland with no problem at all. The same can't be said for the sofas. We paid over £3000 for our sofas, we last had a leather sofa not from Oakland and never had any problems we just thought we would have new in our new home, and the old one was nine years old. In last than a year one of the seats had sunk, and the leather were your head is the leather had changed colour and look awful. It took us two calls with a few weeks apart and heard nothing. When someone came he just rubbed the leather with something and said it was just wear and the leather changing colour was the prouducts we used.So we will never be going to Oakland again, absolutely waist of time spending £300 on insurance my advice would be don't buy a leather sofa for Oakland
Purchased a 3 seater sofa and / chairs which were delivered on 10/12/20
The sofa was damaged by the delivery men who dropped if twice bringing it down the path and thus resulted in the leather being badly scuffed down one side
They wore no PPE and unwrapped everything outside leaving the rubbish behind and we paid £49.99 for this shocking service
We were offered £75 compensation and no repair for a sofa that cost nearly £2000
We are now awaiting a new sofa with an estimated delivery of 1/3/21
I will not be shopping there again
So after being told in December we could take delivery of our order end of January. Two days before that delivery we was then informed Delivery would now be April. They have just turned up with only half of the suite. They are now saying over another month for the remaining half. The total amount was paid at the time of order we are requesting a refund or and alternate that's in stock we can't get an answer.

The sofa they delivered is gorgeous. However, delivery and the experience we had with oak furniture land was awful; the first sofa they delivered had a massive slit in it, they said they would replace it, and they did. However, when they delivered the second one, I had been given no email/ text message to say they were coming on this day, or even this week, let alone what time. They men that delivered the sofa were quite rude. I would avoid ordering from them.
I ordered the Ellipse dresser. It came with a large white sticker on the front, underneath, at the top but on display. The sticker said not to remove as guarantee would be invalid... but it's on show. I emailed... no reply I phoned (eventually got through was told to send photos, not to remove it... and that was that, but I am going to remove it). Who buys a dresser to have a large sticker on display? I also emailed to cancel another order, no reply, the order was delivered, not cancelled. I DO NOT recommend this company at all. The prices on the website constantly vary with/without delivery charge and the price of the items go up and down accordingly
I bought a bed from them just short of £500 and it lasted 18 months before it broke i rang up and they said there was nothing they could do as it was only guaranteed 1 year i expected it to last a lot longer with the price i paid
I have never experienced such pushy shop assistants in all my life. This was the second visit to oak furniture land in Guildford. I liked a set of table and chairs. As soon as I walked into the store I was asked if I needed some help. I said no thank you I am just looking. Then he came over to me and said the bedroom furniture is upstairs. Said that I was not looking for bedroom furniture thank you. Then again he came up and said are you sure you don't need any help I was so fed up I did not feel comfortable and walked out I had enough. You lost a sale Oak furniture land BIG MISTAKE
Just had a new wardrobe delivered and it had two faults when we opened it up. Called customer services and because we had given my husbands name on the receipt for which we paid cash by the way they had the audacity to ask me to get my husband to give permission for me to speak to them about my complaint. Are oak furniture land living in the dark ages. I'm afraid I'm not the happiest person at the moment. Waiting for them to get back to me re the damaged wardrobe. I could have got three out of Ikea for the price of one and we still had to make it up ourself,!,

Was told loads of time in shop it was all three week delivery - apparently that means nothing. Three weeks is going to be 8 weeks they don't know in shop the availability when you place the order. Attitude of staff in Aberdeen was oh well nothing we can do
Our delivery came and as we unpackaged it we realised it was damaged. We had difficulty getting through to anyone from the company and even when we finally did, they never returned the calls as they said they would. I sent an email to which they replied promising they would ring me but they never phoned back. After shaming them publicly on facebook they immediately rang me and said we'd get a replacement. The van finally turned up to replace the furniture but they'd 'forgotten' to bring it, it hadn't been put on the van. How on earth did they forget?! So we are still waiting, its so inconvenient having a huge box in the living room for weeks on end. They're not even sorry.
Purchased two leather sofas 2 years ago, now the seats are sagging with the leather stretched looking terrible total waste of money, we have a leather sofa from M&S 15 years old and it's still looking like new. So don't buy this crap China products from Oak Furniture Land
Bought 2 sofas from the Middlebrook store delivery 7 weeks when the day it was due to arrive I was given a time slot. So far so good they phoned in the delivery time to say they will be 20 mins. When they arrived they said they are in boxes they would take the sofas out and bring them in but not put them together. There was no way I could put them together by myself. They left leaving two massive boxes filled with polystyrene and wrapping on the street it was raining hard could not even move them got soaked to the skin trying to cut boxes up so I could put them in car 5 journeys later and 3 hours I was able to put my sofas together. Never again will I shop there
We ordered a table and 4 chairs in July 2022 and were given a 3 month lead time and a delivery date of the 6th October
The big day arrived and we had been given a delivery window of 2:30 to 5:30. That window came and went and after a phone call and giving up hope, happy days at 7pm they arrived.
Only to discover that we had been sent 2 chairs which were the wrong type.
We spotted the boxes were of a different size who ever picked them at Warehouse was obviously not as awake as we were
Not impressed wasted a whole afternoon of holiday and will no doubt have to waste another period of time to rectify their error, with some small print saying they are not liable for the costs

Had a damaged chest of drawers spoke to customer service they were happy to replace it yust received new chest of drawers very happy with service will definitely use again delivery driver excellent
Absolute joke of a company! We ordered furniture in January 2021 on the understanding delivery would be within 18 weeks (which was long enough). We were then contacted the week of expected delivery to be told 'sorry there has been a delay because of the pandemic' - that old chestnut! We rescheduled for first week of June and surprise surprise we have been contacted again to say there has been a delay. What other company would get away with this! They are sitting on our money making interest on it and yet they have absolutely no commitment with delivering the furniture. How long are companies going to use this excuse 'the pandemic, covid blah blah blah'. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Don't fall for there discounts and sales as they are irrelevant - they are discounting something you are never going to get!
The furniture I ordered arrived on 19th November. It was not charcoal grey, more a brownish minky colour. The cardboard was stapled to the legs. I rang customer service straight away. It took 3 attempts of 30+ minutes to get through. They advised that it would cost me 25% of the price to return. They suggested I go to the showroom and choose an alternative and the salesman would ring them and we could compromise. I went up there and the salesmen told me they do not deal with customer service and I was given mis-information. I sent 3 emails, plus photos and a recorded delivery letter with my complaint. I have had no reply. The furniture was taken away yesterday. I spent money on rolls of polythene as they said I had to wrap it completely or they would take even more money. No one has responded to my complaint. I will take this further and will write as many negative reviews as I can. I am distressed as have no furniture and have lost £300 for nothing.
Not only do I not have any furniture but I am actually 2 days pay worst off than when I started.
They managed to get the furniture near my house. Close enough for my wife to see but they could not get it the last few hundred yards. Rather than go to the sales office and ask, as we said to do. They just left.
When I re-booked it back in they did wave a missed delivery fee, that was good of them considering I was in, in the first place. They apparently did not book in right and I waited in another day to be told it was not coming.
I can't risk having more time off work for them to maybe or maybe not deliver it so I had to cancel the order. (They did not even seem to fussed about that). Feel bad for the people in the show room as the woman we dealt with was lovely.
Avoid this company at all costs.
What a swearword Joke!
We bought a £450 bed from here and paid out right. We received the delivery end of March & opened the bed in April as we were renovating a house. When we opened the box we found the headboard of the bed damaged. I rang and they asked us to send pictures which we did. Heard nothing back So I rang myself. They told me from the images it looked like it was "most likely" our fault. And they couldn't take the blame. I was astonished. I paid a lot of money for a bed that came broken! We were told in store we had a 12 months warranty and any problems give is a call. All rubbish. Please please avoid this store. Go somewhere else that gives customer service!
