This company is amazing from the time I ordered it 3 days ago. To the time my goods were delivered. The sales man was amazing Paul Welsh. The delivery drivers were outstanding I could not of asked for no more absolutely amazing. I was informed by email and text all the way though my order thank you so much
Buy from anywhere else! Worst company, worst delivery drivers, worst furniture! Badly made and easily broken! So easy that almost everything they have delivered has arrived smashed! Even after promising quality checks at warehouse and upon delivery! Absolute joke! I'd be better off making my own! If you want to buy from here make sure you still have your old sofa just incase as you might be without one for a very long time! Delivery times are comical too! Apparently because they are hand crafted...clearly by pigeons! Employ skilled people if you want to charge those sort of prices! EDIT* They offered me £150 off my current sofa (that I have on finance) or £350 in store...we took the £350 and have ordered some furniture (table and chairs etc) let's see how these turn up...still have to wait weeks for them though! Will update when they arrive!
I am absolutely disgusted with Oak Furnitureland. We ordered a module corner sofa on 16.10.22. We paid for premium delivery for -24.2.2318 weeks we have waited. On Tuesday 22nd February they confirmed our 3 hour delivery slot for Friday. On Wednesday evening I was emailed and told parts were not available.
They told us only 4 out of 5 parts of the sofa and I will have to wait another 15 weeks for the order and they have cancelled my delivery.
How have they only just discovered there is a piece missing the day before delivery?
They had our money for 20 weeks. We were offered no interest on the money and only offered a discount if we reordered and waited a total of 33 weeks for delivery which was not guaranteed.
They are a law unto themselves and can do what ever they want. They are not part of any ombudsman group so complaints are pointless. Avoid at all costs.

Title says it all. Placed an order in December 2020. Delivery date set for June 2021. Received an email two weeks before delivery was due to say they have processed my refund.
Called them (waited 30 mins to get through) to be told my order had been cancelled but they couldn't explain why. The order cannot be un-cancelled so would I like to place the order again and wait another six months...
If you're thinking of ordering from Oak Furnitureland do yourself a favour - do not bother.
Received a text message a couple of days back to give us the time for our delivery slot today. Then receive another text today to say that it would not happen. Phoned the customer service department who said this was because of one missing item - we had been told it was all ready to go! I was then told that the missing item would come in 4 days but the rest today at the time we had paid for. Then get a phone call to say that nothing was coming today despite what their staff had told us.
All of our old furniture (a complete bedroom) had gone in anticipation of the delivery we booked. We are now unable to get a delivery until October 10th due to a pre-booked holiday. "Could you not add it to the missing item delivery?" - not how it works. Despite all this I am still getting texts to say it is ready to deliver now! No bedroom furniture for a month.
What an absolute shower
Poor quality leather sofa's; after just 5 months careful use and despite using their leather care products, a hole has appeared in the leather, which looks very thin and of poor quality in this area. I wish I had purchased a cheaper sofa from elsewhere.
£1000 for a sofa of this bad quality is a disgrace.
Delivery two seat settees. On arrival did not take away packaging or secure legs on both settees. Daughter asked if they could remove plastic. One extreme rude abusive disrespectful man shouted at her will cost you loads of money not my problem sort it yourself. Bran new owner first house move young and excited daughter was shocked asked for his name. He refused as did his partner said he wasn't going to drop him init. Both refused to apologise and caused severe disappointment to a great day of moving. Both men very rude and unprofessional. Daughter was very upset and is a professional graduate with high experience of customer care.
Waited 16 weeks for our bedroom furniture when it was meant to be delivered it did not appear my partner took day off work second delivery date half order arrived with damaged bedside cabinet third delivery chest drawers arrived. My partner has been on customer line 2nd time for 2hrs 20 mins I phoned today on hold for 45 min. Phoned shop in Inverness all they can say is phone customer service well they didn't need customer service to take our bank details they are probably worst people in shop and customer service will never use them again absolutely shocking
Bought Montana sofa in dec 2018. Arrived on time and looking well, however they have changed the foam used in the cushions from a combination of firm and medium foam to soft foam. The sofa is very uncomfortable and not suitable for use with my family as my children have spinal problems and can not sit on the sofa. Customer services unwilling to do anything and don't seem to think it is a problem to change the grade of the cushion foam without telling the customer.
Purchased a two seater recliner sofa. Paid extra for delivery to room. Packaging to big to get into house. Dumped outside. Had to phone family for help. After a couple of months noticed upholstery collapsing, tipping you sideways. Sent homeserve out to inspect, no help at all, same as Oaks customer service. Rubbish company, rubbish furniture. Would never buy from them again. Hence no stars.

There should be a no stars rating

I have never known such a bad service we ordered a sofa in may 2022 having to pay with no interest free credit the date was due September and since then have cancelled 4 times, it is now November and they have rang to say it will be end January 2023, we have asked to ask for a full refund and asking for compensation as we have paid interest on this sofa, totally unacceptable
We bought 2 three piece suites from oak furniture land, both were returned as after sitting on both for about 30mins each the leather became loose & ruckled badly, the back of the one settee was not filled properly & sat back on it went near on flat, what you see in the showroom isn't what you get delivered, terrible quality, go else, they are a nightmare.
Tip for consumers:
That we would have received the same quality as seen in the showroom

I purchased this Finley sofa, it was expensive but I thought of quality. I am so disappointed with this purchase, it has worn terribly, the leather is cracking and fading and the stuffing in the seats have really sunk, i expected better for this kind of price!
I ordered a footstool to match a sofa from Oak Furnitureland on 6 January. I was told would be beginning March delivery as it had to be made. Wrong item arrived I contacted them - had been ordered wrongly by the Shop. Recorded then due to Covid19 could not be delivered. No further communication from them. After several attempts at telephoning updating my order and emails I spoke to someone on 5 June who was unable to do anything. Apologised but stated may be delivered by 9 July! Really upset as second time they have incorrectly ordered and delivered items to me. Communication is very bad.
No complaint with regard the furniture however, I would strongly advise not to bye the 5yr insurance provided by Staingard that is total inadequate. Its a shame that Oak furnitureland associates itself with this under performing company staining its own reputation.

Oak furniture land should have delivered my sofa on the 9th of May 2023 the 2 wooden tables came but no sofa they had said that it was not put down for delivery. I have it on finance but when I went into shop the assistant do say if I pay cash I well have it with in 2 weeks but as I was decorating I fought now this will be fine to wait three months now I've got to wait another three months for the 9th of August 2023.and then I have to listen to a lot of rubbish about it's being made abroad.my family did tell me not to go with oak furniture land i really wished I had listened so please do phone at list 3 to 4 days to make sure all your items are all being delivered at the same time don't put your trust in the email that they send you saying your delivery day and you are in a slot for that just make sure all is coming. So very let down with oak furniture land
Have just purchased a sideboard from oakland furniture has damage to front door rang customer services waited 40 minutes on the phone then customer services was terrible did not want to no they said as good will jesture would send a new door have to wait 7 weeks for door then fit my self very unhelpful did not want to no shocking custom services will not be buying again from here
We ordered some furniture from the Oak Furnitureland website which was supposed to arrive within 6 weeks. We didn't get it until 9 months later. When it arrived, one item was damaged, and another had what looked like flecks of paint or woodstain on it. The furniture is generally not very well put together, with gaps in between the joints. For the price we paid, we expected much better quality – the furniture we received looks like factory rejects. We will not be buying from Oak Furnitureland again, and would definitely not recommend.
Purchased a chest of drawers that was poorly built with a clear fault on the top of it, was promised by the salesman at the Ayr store that there would a no quibble returns policy if we had any issues but this couldn't have been further from truth, when they finally agreed to uplift the item they said it would take 12 days for uplift to take place which was only two less than it took to import and deliver the item in the first place, manage to get that down to 3 days and here I am on day three at over an hour past the uplift window still waiting and the manager wouldn't budge on processing my refund until the item was uplifted even although they had failed to uplift it when they said they would, should be called joke furniture land, if you are thinking of using this company my advice is don't
Wanted a dining room table and chairs, but undecided on what style. The stock examples on display at the York branch of Oak Furnitureland was surprisingly extensive, and with the help of salesman Marcus, the ideal setup for us was quickly found. There was no pressure seemingly applied just good old fashioned salesmanship, and the whole process was swift, easy and covid save. Prices were very competitive considering the quality of the furniture involved. Would definitely return for future needs.

Received a side board, which appears, to be routed out.
Its got a 5mm gap one side and a 1 mm gap the other, but hey it will naturally expand to 3 mm each side.
Sent photos, the usual, had 4 telephone calls, absolutely a joke.
Paid insurance too, but have refused to exchange because its not 'faulty'.
If your furnitures arrives and its ok, well that is great news, but anyone who has an issue, is going to get no where.
The "Winter Sale " that ended on -line and on the TV was a joke. The only thing that changed was the removal of the word "Winter" the new tickets other than that did not change in any way. The quoted original price had not changed or the actual sale price. Despite being told that the sale ended on the Sunday even had a clock counting the time down on -line after all the "hullabaloo" nothing changed at all it was all "smoke and mirrors" all done to create urgency. The products are great value despite the "underhand" way people are "hoodwinked" into making a purchase there and then.
I thought there had to be 28 days at the full price before the word " sale price " could be used cannot understand how the store can open at 10am for viewing on a Sunday but still booking orders at 6-15 pm so targets could be met. E-mails from above to stay open.
Do not take out there Insurance. Sofa broke just after a year. Was sold it as an amazing insurance that would come out and clean it if we wanted. Any spills, breakages, tears etc. It took them 3-4 months to come out, then had a rude technician turn up. Won't do any thing about the tear under the recliner that my wife put a safety pin in to stop the tear. It's been 2 months and still waiting for the replacement mechanism to be delivered for me to either fit myself or book a technician to come and fit, which took 2 months to get them out in the first place. Getting on to be nearly a year for them to fix the recliner. Categorically told they will not touch the rip in the material.
First part of order arrived 2 / two seater leather recliners one complete other missing left hand side following week second part of order arrived one coffee table and sidboard. Firstly coffee table water stained. Side board badly broken in several places So send them back promised replacements for following week. Will wait and see. Had i read review site first i would not of paid out £? K Would recommend go else where Very dissatisfied and annoyed
I bought a corner suite from Oak Furnitureland and was generally satisfied with it. However having had the suite for over a year, and decorated the room, including curtains, lamps etc around the suite, the suite was recalled, due to safety issues. I understood these safety issues were that the material was flammable. Interesting since it was positioned close to our stove for over a year. There was some correspondence regarding the collection, and eventually it was collected, once we were promised a full refund. A year after that collection we have received £0. We are now told that "the company" is in administration. What company I ask them? I bought it form Oak Furnitureland, and they are not in administration. Scammers.
We purchased two leather sofas in may last year. In the store we were advised the sofas were dyed leather and so wouldn't peel like the sprayed leather from other well known stores. Within 6 months of purchase one has already started to peel. We have been offered a repair however now have no confidence in these sofas or oak furniture land. If this has happened within such a short period of time the likelihood of this being a continuing concern is very high. I would not recommend oak furniture land.
Ordered a three and two seater settee in Teal in September. Delivered in November. They delivered them in Granite. Customer services said to use them until replacements arrived in February (this Monday). They arrived when they said they would, problem was one was teal and the other was another granite one. Now second teal one is arranged for mid April. Customer service help in November was very good, apologetic and helpful. CS this week was dismissive and not at all bothered. Keeping fingers crossed that the right colour arrives April. Seven months from order to correct delivery (I hope) is excessive and pretty poor. Have to say that both pairs of delivery men were professional and helpful, also embarrassed as they frequently had to deal with the same problem
