This company is amazing from the time I ordered it 3 days ago. To the time my goods were delivered. The sales man was amazing Paul Welsh. The delivery drivers were outstanding I could not of asked for no more absolutely amazing. I was informed by email and text all the way though my order thank you so much
Buy from anywhere else! Worst company, worst delivery drivers, worst furniture! Badly made and easily broken! So easy that almost everything they have delivered has arrived smashed! Even after promising quality checks at warehouse and upon delivery! Absolute joke! I'd be better off making my own! If you want to buy from here make sure you still have your old sofa just incase as you might be without one for a very long time! Delivery times are comical too! Apparently because they are hand crafted...clearly by pigeons! Employ skilled people if you want to charge those sort of prices! EDIT* They offered me £150 off my current sofa (that I have on finance) or £350 in store...we took the £350 and have ordered some furniture (table and chairs etc) let's see how these turn up...still have to wait weeks for them though! Will update when they arrive!
Poor quality leather. After 15 months the leather on the suite started to peel and crack, this is not covered by the guarantee or the 5 year 'total cover' insurance. Very disappointed
Very slow to attend to any complaint or exchanges requesting a massive amount of information, photos etc. and for packing to be returned as delivered.
I purchased a TV cabinet that was delivered several days after the originally arranged date in a box that was damp with mildew around the bottom. Having unpacked the cabinet I found a dark knot that was not smooth with the surface of the surrounding wood immediately obvious on the on it's front lower panel. It took approx twenty five minutes of being passed from one extension to another before speaking to a member of staff who wanted photos sent in for them to examine. I received a text a day I later asking me to phone there service number. After another thirty minutes of waiting on the phone I was told that the defect was not in their opinion sufficient to warrant a replacement. I also spoke to a supervisor who also refused to provide any further assistance. It is clear that if you have any complaint regarding their product you are wasting your time trying to get a replacement or any kind of satisfaction. My advice is, don't buy from this company, they have no interest in customer satisfaction at all.
When placing our order in the Cheltenham shop we were actively sold the "White Glove Delivery Service". My wife explained that our home is a cottage and getting the furniture upstairs would require lifting through a hatch in the ceiling, so we would prefer to handle this ourselves. The sales-person insisted that it would not be a problem and the delivery drivers deal with that sort of thing all the time. So we paid £58.99 for the white glove service.
When the order arrived, the delivery team were like a throw-back to 1970's Britain. Scruffy, swearing on the drive and complaining about how the stores put on them and "Elf & Safety" made it impossible for them to deliver the product anywhere other than the ground floor.
My wife called the central customer services team and agreed that we would take the goods and arrange to get them taken upstairs and assembled ourselves and in return they would refund us for the white glove service.
The drivers, with a lot of huffing and puffing and more swearing, manhandled the order in and dropped it in the lounge. They refused to take away the packaging: "Because you ain't paid for the white glove service no more, luv!"
Despite assurances that we would be refunded for the white glove service, this never happened.
My wife emailed, chasing this and has been totally ignored.
I ordered a Goodwood sofa and chair in silver fabric in August, I paid for them in full and was told delivery would be October, the October delivery was cancelled as was the rearranged November delivery, the sofa was finally delivered mid December, no sign of the chair the delivery men said I should have had an email about it but I hadn't. Luckily I had kept the colour swatch because I knew I the colour was wrong, I rang customer services and after an hour of waiting I was told that they had changed the colour of the sofa and I had an old swatch! I was given the swatch by the salesman and ordered it because that was the colour and fabric I wanted. They let me cancel the missing chair order and gave me £50 compensation! I will never set foot in that shop again
Upon opening a French Dresser, I immediately noticed gaps in the cornice mitres. I stopped at that point, as it was futile to continue. I took a photo of the manufacturing issue and tried to report on the website. None of the functionality of the website contact form was operating, so I called and waited 30 mins to be told "It's a website sale, you need to speak to the other department, I will transfer you." 5 mins later I spoke to a lady and advised of the issue. She was very apologetic but said "We need a photo of the whole item, the faulty and the white label on the back." I advised that I had not removed the item from the box, as the fault was clearly visible upon opening and as it was well packed and heavy, we did not want to manhandle the heavy item (Us both being senior citizens). She said, "We have to see the item fully assembled, so we can make a claim against the manufacturer". She also said, "We can only take back the bottom of the dresser, because there is nothing wrong with the top", although at this point, the condition of the top section was unknown. Eventually, after much dialogue, she settled for just a photo of the fault, the item partially in its box and the QC label on the item. Collection was arranged and it was collected today however, we were asked to sign the collection note, but was not given any form of written acknowledgement of receipt, which seems strange. I will await my FULL refund in respect of this faulty item and give Oak Furniture land a wide berth in future.

It as a settee. The chair arrived damaged, so I informed them within 2 hours of delivery, also that I wanted to return the corner module of the suite. Customer service are horrendous, taking days to reply, I had to prompt them with more email reminders,.
They promised a phone call from someone to resolve my issues, but this didn, t happen. So I had to send 2 further emails to get a reply. 2 weeks from my delivery and finally someone called today. Although I was told I could return the corner module at a cost to me of £87.50, ok that, s their rules? I was today told they will not accept a return? They are sending someone out to repair the damage to the chair, which I have paid full price for and expected it to be in perfect condition. The company as far as customer care, customer service and after sales care is absolutely unacceptable and appalling. I will never buy anything from them again, or recommend them, just the opposite. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with.
Awful company showrooms look nice but the end product is disgusting STAY AWAY after sales is non exsistent have called with my issue and not once has a promised call back ever happened down to the customer to chase

This is pure lies, customer care is an utter joke, they have lost one of the 2 sofas I ordered over 7 weeks ago. One has been delivered on the second attempt after they delivered entirely the wrong items over a week ago. Now waiting for another promised call which I know they will not make, back to me calling them for the 8th time. Piss poor service. Now lost 2 days off work for their incompetence, have been offered an insulting £50 compensation.

Don't usually do reviews but I feel the need to this time, the service that I have received from Oak furniture land has been nothing short of disgusting. We placed an order for a leather corner sofa and matching reclining chair totalling almost £4000. After waiting for 4 months for it to be delivered they showed up with the five seater leather sofa with one of the reclining end pieces made out of fabric (Joke 1). Initially told it would be another four months before they could supply the correct leather end piece but after some debate we were told that it would be with us within a week. So the following week we left our neighbour a key (couldn't take more time off work) we arrived home to discover that they had supplied and fitted a chestnut brown end piece on to our light grey leather suite (Joke 2). We phoned again totally bemused and were told that yet again it would be another four months before they could supply the correct leather end piece. They absolutely couldn't care less on the phone either, acting like it was just a regular small type error and putting zero effort into trying to resolve the issue or help us in anyway... Well sorry but when I spend £4k, I expect a certain level of customer support and service, this lot simply don't care... They have now been informed that they can come back and collect the lot and refund us, we shall take our custom elsewhere. Absolutely appalled to say the least.
MISSING ITEM FROM ORDER HAVE SENT 6 EMAILS NO REPLIES AT ALL
NO ACKNOWLEDMENTS. TRIED TO PHONE EVERYDAY FOR 3 WEEKS CANNOT GET PAST RECORDED MESSAGE NO MATTER HOW LONG I HANG ON? CONTACTED LOCAL STORE CANNOT HELP IN ANYWAY? CONTACTED SOCIAL MEDIA SITE THEY CANNOT REPLY TO EMAILS or HELP? THEIR BOSS WOULD NOT BE TREATED LIKE THIS- THOUGHT THEY WERE A GOOD COMPANY TIL THIS HAPPENED IS THERE ANYBODY THERE IN CUSTOMER SERVICES? CAN ANYBODY HELP I HAVE PAID MY MONEY AND NOT HAD THE GOODS.
This morning we had a double bed and a bedside table delivered. We ordered these in the online sale and despite me going into store to find these they didn't have them to view. I took the chance and ordered them. Lo and behold the items looked nothing like they did online. They were cheap and tacky and just ugly.
I phoned the customer services number and was kept waiting for 40 minutes before I finally got to speak to someone. They advised me that I would be charged £82 for someone to collect them. I was horrified and so the lady put me on hold only to come back and inform me she'd made a 'mistake' and it would be £60. I was still disgusted, and, to be fair to her she seemed embarrassed and apologetic about the greedy company's returns policy. I asked to speak to a supervisor to air my disgust. He was completely unapologetic and extremely patronising. He explained that the company were so nice to offer free delivery in the first place and that it costs money to collect the items from the depot... Yeah I'm not a complete moron, I know how these things work. I explained to him that, yes, of course I would expect to pay something to have them come back and collect them but £60 is unacceptable. It's a day's pay or a day at nursery for my little girl. It would even cost me £60 if I decided to buy a more expensive item!
He refused to budge and so now I've got a pay £60 for someone to come and remove this tacky, disgusting furniture from my house. Wonderful. Needless to say I will never ever ever buy anything from this company.
Order placed back on 1st July 2022, still awaiting fulfilment. Multiple times, (now approaching double figures), they have committed to a delivery date, then cancelled on the morning of delivery and requested me to rearrange. No matter if I do this online, or through a customer service advisor, (when I eventually do get through after +45 minutes wait), it's the same output... delivery gets cancelled on the day and asked to rearrange.
It's approaching 9 months now and my patience has run out. This is the most appalling customer experience I've ever encountered, they take your money then make no efforts to fulfil their obligations.
But wait... if you act as a new customer, and leave a product in your online basket, I got not one, but two calls within a matter of hours attempting to close out my purchase, so they've got the manpower to chase new sales, but no commitment to existing customers who still await their order.
Steer clear, do not order furniture from them. Unreliable and uncontactable. Complete joke of a company.

Terrible customer service. Will never shop with you again. Not willing to budge on their 'rules' even when we have previously placed a £4700 approx order and had damage issues. You were still unable to accommodate. My husband has had to take time out of work which he has lost a lot of money for waiting for a deliveries. We requested a pm delivery and got delivery slot between 10.30 and 13.30. No sympathy for their customers who are paying a lot of money for this. Absolutely infuriating.
They only rang 10 minutes before arrival when they said it would be a call half an hour before hand. I already told the lady on customer service it would be my husband who had to come home from his job who is self employed. They rang and I said my husband was about 25 minutes away, they got quite annoyed and snotty with me and said it would have to do. So my husband has just turned up at home and they are not even there.
Never will I shop here again. Worst service ever. I can't believe how much money I've paid for this shoddy service
I was told by the sales assistant in the Dundee store that the chair I was purchasing was grey only to find out it was brown when it was delivered to me. The sales assistant Margaret admitted that she told me it was grey after I received it but would not accept a refund as it was an ex display item. Customer Services past the buck onto the store, leaving me with no comeback & a chair which is no good. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE THEY ARE COM ARTISTS
Our £700 dining room table (plus 2 chairs extra cost) came partial self assembly, YES A £700 table requires self assembly.
I paid £30 for room of choice delivery (you can not collect any Oak furniture land purchase it has to be delivered at a min charge of £10 for doorstep delivery)
I compained to customer services that there was no mention when was in store abiut table needed to be put together on delivery unless i paid for premiun delivery an EXTRA £70.
The lady from customer services said, can you not put it together yourself W. T. F
Ask yourself would you buy a car and on collection the wheels are in the boot only to be told you have to put the wheels on yourself?
Oak Furniture land should scrap the delivery charge completley as they dont allow in store collection

In January I purchased some new bedroom furniture from Oakfurnitureland in Orpington, spending nearly £3,000. On numerous occasions I told the salesman that my stairs and landing were 'tight'. He assured me that there would be no problem as their delivery people are very experienced. He told me that he had bought Oakfurnitureland wardrobes and the delivery people had negotiated his very narrow staircase with ease. This morning my furniture was delivered and, low and behold, my two wardrobes were too big to go upstairs. Not only that but, to add insult to injury, I was then told by 'customer services', and I use the term loosely as there was none, that it would cost £400 to take them back! It seems to me that Ofl are in a win win situation, they take your money, make promises they can't keep and then try to charge you exorbitant amounts to rectify what was, in fact, their mistake. I now have two wardrobes sitting in my hallway as I refused to be blackmailed into paying for them to be taken back. Any takers...? I will never buy anything from these people again and I will be telling anyone who will listen not to either.

What was not agreed was a damaged chair on delivery. When I complained I was told 13 weeks for a replacement just before Christmas. Confirmed by email mid December then an email two days later saying delayed. When I rang to get a date I was told mid January, asked to speak to a manager and was promised a call back the next day. No surprise that didn't happen. Eventually got through to someone after 50 minutes on hold and told 29th December. So the morning arrives and when the delivery team unpack it is a piece from a corner settee. You could not make this level of incompetence up for a comedy sketch it is so unbelievable! DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING THIS COMPANY SAYS AND WOULD ADVISE NOT TO BUY FROM THEM.

After shopping around a lot, I found the sofa I'd been searching for in OFL. I asked the manager about the composition of the seats and he explained they were the best quality etc. He sat on the sofa whilst talking to me and as he stood up again, the seat cushion bounced back to shape. However, when the sofa was delivered it had a hole in the bottom of it where you're supposed to screw the legs into. It had a cheap plastic covering underneath and wasn't the quality I expected. I rang customer services immediately, who said they'd send a technician to fix it. Not satisfied with that, I requested a replacement. After the phone call, I sat on the sofa to test for comfort, just for a moment, when I stood up the fabric of the seat cushion was crumpled up as if it were an old, well used sofa. Goodness knows what it'd look like after a couple of months. I cancelled the replacement, even then they tried to deliver it to me the following week. Waiting on a refund now. Cheap, shoddy workmanship that should never have passed inspection. Presume it was made overseas.
Never be in a hurry to buy from them, their sale never ends they just call it something different each time, sale ends sunday but on monday it is back on tv as must end soon.
I would like to start by saying the salesperson in the shop was great and very informative. Me and my wife walked into the shop by chance and the first table in the shop was the Hercules table and chairs. We fell in love with the table as soon as we saw it and agreed to buy it. We were surprised that delivery only took just over a week. Upon receiving the table my wife noticed that there was a strip off oak on the end of the table that looked grey and weathered so she called customer services only to be told that it was a natural colour variation. We then went back to the store were they agreed that it was in fact faulty due to the weathered look and to call back. I then called customer services to dispute this only to be told the same thing so I asked to speak to a manager. I explained to the manager that I am completely aware of natural oak and its colour variations as the rest of the table varies in colour however the weathered grey look of this strip Is not a natural colour variation. He kept repeating himself and he said i have 2 options keep the table or return it but it would cost me £50 as the table is not at fault. I am extremely disappointed with this FAULT as it ruins the whole appearance of the table and now it looks as tho I'm stuck with it what a waste of £1000 please do not waste your hard earned money

I had a lamp delived. The lamp was damaged. I call customers service to say my lamp was damaged. Was told to look for a number on the bottom of the lamp. Which was not there. Customer serivice made me look a fool. I am disable and could not do that. All i wanted waas a new lamp. Customer service did not understand and made look as if i was thick. Iask to speak. To the manage. I was told he was busy. It is the worst company. Customer service were nt very help ful at all
I brought the Morgan corner group thinking it would be as comfy as the one in the shop. No the cushions are too small so when laying on the sofa you feel a gap making it very uncomfortable
I have never had so much stress, as I had with this company.
