This company is amazing from the time I ordered it 3 days ago. To the time my goods were delivered. The sales man was amazing Paul Welsh. The delivery drivers were outstanding I could not of asked for no more absolutely amazing. I was informed by email and text all the way though my order thank you so much
Buy from anywhere else! Worst company, worst delivery drivers, worst furniture! Badly made and easily broken! So easy that almost everything they have delivered has arrived smashed! Even after promising quality checks at warehouse and upon delivery! Absolute joke! I'd be better off making my own! If you want to buy from here make sure you still have your old sofa just incase as you might be without one for a very long time! Delivery times are comical too! Apparently because they are hand crafted...clearly by pigeons! Employ skilled people if you want to charge those sort of prices! EDIT* They offered me £150 off my current sofa (that I have on finance) or £350 in store...we took the £350 and have ordered some furniture (table and chairs etc) let's see how these turn up...still have to wait weeks for them though! Will update when they arrive!
This company robbed us. In January, we bought a piece of furniture. Delivery was due on May 12th. Today I got a message that this date is not available. Next available delivery date is December. Our bill was increased by £ 59.99 for delivery. No contact possible, the hotline is still unavailable. Thieves!
Terrible customer service when it comes to returning items. Oak furniture land charged nearly £300 to return 2 items and 2 weeks later have still not received a refund for the furniture. They have yet to reply to any of my emails, seems the company is good when deliveries go to plan, poor service when items are returned. Such a shame as their furniture is good quality, we have spent a lot of money in store over the last few years- will not return to store again
I would avoid this company at all costs. I was browsing for a new bed and placed an item in my basket, however after reading reviews and shopping around decided I did not want to purchase the bed that I had put in my basket. I did not expect to be rang continuously informing me I had an item in my basket that Id forgot about, and did I want to purchase the item. During the first call I informed the sales team I did not want the item, however they clearly do not understand this as I have received a further 7 calls in less than 48 hours. Oak furniture land advertisement makes the company look quite professional, yet the reviews on here tell a more accurate story.
Awful experience all round
Terrible service and after care bought two sofas in January delivered in April one was broken so have had four attempts to replace each time they deliver the wrong colour sofa so doesn't match the other one the last time they delivered two new sofas they come in two halves so four halves in total three were matching one was a different colour they said just take one of the original halves from the original order and put it with the new ones even though the original are now nearly six months old. Terrible customer service on the phone called a liar by one of the managers have now cancelled whole order and gone elsewhere do yourself a favour and never shop here
I am still waiting since February for 2 chest of drawers that are fit for purpose.
I am amazed the quality is so poor, the first two chest of drawers were smashed, the second set arrrived after 7 full months, 6 of the 8 drawers need repainting, the side needs painting and one drawer side is covered in white filler and never painted.
More shocking is customer service or lack of, we have to process every element of the repair, phone wait and hour and wait and hope.
I have my second engineer visit booked the first one drove here without any spray. I have no confidence someone can rattle can spray 6 drawers and one side, fill and sand a top and they will match some furniture made in a Far Eastern factory.
I will never buy from them again, I suggest you never do.

Totally disgusted of the level of service we received, part of a new bed was missing, to be told put books underneath the new bed to hold it up! They then after the bed was returned, they tried to avoid giving me my refund of £649! They soon changed their mind when I was getting Trading standards involved. The settee we purchased, not even a year old (recliner) is sagging in the middle, hardly any firmness on the seat. The amount of people that have had same issues with their furniture is ridiculous, wish I knew before. I definitely don't recommend them, shocking service, they don't care as soon as they have your money!

So l had a look online. L was going to place an order when l finish work. 4 missed calls and voice messages constantly calling. So obviously this put me off, asked to not call. When filling out my details put contact by emails only. STILL CALLING.

Not happy at all. When the delivery come, it was the wrong sofa and been told to use it until the right order is on the way to us.
The quality is very poor, the cushions are with not enough filling. Emailed them many times to resolve the problem, but no reply.

We bought bedroom furniture in January, the wardrobe door was split and was obviously done before it was put in the box to be delivered. I was told to send photos. They said they would send a replacement door, which would be here middle pf March, then told it would end of April. Only last week a replacement wardrobe arrived with the most ignorant delivery.men. NEVER buy anything from this cowboy company. They really be looked into.
Spent a lot of money, bought 3 piece suite, foot stool, table, 6 chairs, console table £7k +, so would expect decent service? What we got was:
Delivery of suite in pieces, just left in middle of room, boxes everywhere, had to put suite together, console table secondhand/shop soiled, sent photos, arranged for collection -nightmare, they kept ringing to pick it up even after it had gone, failed to refund for weeks, then told me table would not be in for Christmas! Cancelled table & chairs and went elsewhere. Still ringing to discuss issues even though we have told them to go away, no more conversations, had to block number in the end.
Never never ever going into the store again, avoid at all costs.
Awful company purchased a Sofa in 2014 been trying to resolve an on going problem since, Homeserve insurance not interested very abrupt. No point taking out the extended warranty they are quick enough to take your money but not fix the problem. Will never buy anything from Oakland Furniture again they only want a sale after care is awful.
Bought furniture a while ago and have had endless issues. Were (mis) sold insurance stating all our problems would be covered. Only... the insurance company HRF Claims are a complete scam. OakFurnitureLand should be held accountable for the shockingly bad services they push in store! Do not buy from this company!
Ordered a blanket box that was very poor quality. Very thin walls and top, likely just 3mm thick. I was suspicious of the quality when it arrived as it was so light - not what you expect for Oak furniture.
I expect to be able to occasionally sit on a blanket box and that the sides can take the occasional knock. But, the product had such very thin panelling, it would have split or cracked within days of use.
I spoke to customer support, they dismissed my complaint and told me I should have checked the dimensions on their website. I told them I did and it doesn't say the sides are only 3mm thick. Then they said I should have called them to ask if the product could take the occasional knock and could be sat on. They then charged me £50 for the return.

Having paid for express delivery surprise suprise it doesn't include unpacking, assembling the furniture or taking away the packing. To add to the misery there is a manufacturing fault in bookcase. Which is clearly visible and should not have got past quality control
By the way if you want the item unpacked that's another £25 on top of £39 for express delivery and £50for a 5 year guarantee. I don't think I will be buying anything else from Oakfurnitureland and I won't be recommending them.
Just received two bedside cabinets, one of which has a white piece of wood glued in to the corner, aesthetically unacceptable, obviously no quality control here in UK (don't expect Vietnam to know what QC is as they threw the item together very poorly)
Dressing table has what looks like a routed groove all round the top surface, problem here is the gap at the front will take 1 penny piece but the back will take 5, they say it's an expansion gap, one is so pleased they don't build wooden boats as they would never float... looks terrible. Asked for refund as items totally unnaceptable, especially as we have waited 3 months.
Extremely pushy sales people. Following you around constantly and wont leave you alone for long. They tell you to mention their name to any other sales person so they dont poach customers which is off putting. They contradict themselves by saying their furniture is so much better than any other place and will last forever but pressure you to take their 5 year protection in case the wood warps or comes apart. Not a pleasant shopping experience and will not go back again. Very unprofessional by remarking that we wasted her time and she couldve gone home early. Overpriced and AVOID!
I will never use this company again. Ordered a dining room table and four chairs online. The table top has stain marks on it - which are not wood knots or colour varaitions, submitted the problem with photos online as instructed. They have not been in touch and I have tried to rung them numerous times but just get put in a queue (high call volume) it is always the same regardless of what time of day I ring. Been on hold for an hour in my longest call.
3 weeks late with delivery then just left wardrobe when I'd paid extra for delivery to a room of my choice. Told wouldn't fit due to packaging so I took packaging off only to be told they could no longer touch item as I'd removed packaging? It was a joke. Parked in front of neighbours who then couldn't get out and one delivery person was extremely rude giving one word answers and walking off. Left my daughter in tears. Customer services were not interested in the slightest. Will never buy from them again.

I wish I had taken my own advice! Ordered 2 couches August 2021 told delivery January 2022. Ok we accepted that paid up front and waited.
Delivery 26th January! The men came we had cleared the other furniture out they checked the access and everything. Then started to unload! 1st couch looks like it had been dropped from a great height so we refused delivery. Spoke to "Customer Services "tried to make us accept it said no we wanted a perfect couch. Eventually they said ok new date 15th Feb only brought 1 couch! Said they thought we had the other 1! Week later we had another delivery but still waiting for technicians to fix 3 damaged feet and scuff on corner of fabric! Never again you can't get through to them and customer service is abysmal!

I brought a number of items including a nest of tables. One table split over the 8 months in my home. It was in a room with 8 other items from oak furnitureland. None of which have shown damage from the environment as suggested.
Customer service also suggested I had damaged it myself and that it was not a production issue.
Extremely poor service.
Appalling quality.
What I find difficult to understand is why a company this big doesn't just say, sorry, we'll send a replacement.
Instead I have to pay £48 for an expert, they recommended, to examine the product.
It's a joke.

I had furniture delivered and was told to call within 3 days if there was anything damaged or missing one of the handles didn't fit I still have yet to get through to customer services and did receive an e-mail saying someone would call me guess what no call shop staff and delivery drivers were great but nil customer service a complete disgarce
Bought two sofas one of which has developed same manufacturing fault twice already but because second time is out of 12 month warranty they dont want anything to do with it despite our statutory rights to a refund or replacement and just referred us to the extended warranty which they persuaded us to purchase. This is complete waste of time and money as they are only prepared to do a quick fix which is going to last a few months before needing repair again. The warranty company are not interested at all in customer service and neither is OFL once they have your money. Needless to say Trading Standards are now on the case.
Would strongly advise against using this company.
We spent over £2,000 on 2 new sofas. Both sofas arrived damaged. Really hard to get through on the phone as sat in queues for over half an hour and customer services arent open at the weekend. The replacement sofas were also damaged so had to take a third afternoon off work to wait for another replacement. All this took months to sort. Will never use again.
I bought a bedroom set; cupboard and draws. It looks great and is nice and heavy but the draws are only 3/4 the depth of the unit. So for each draw I lose around 4-5" in depth. Just so they can save a little money in wood. I bought online. Had I bought in the shop I'd have noticed and would not have bought it. Learn fro my mistake and go elsewhere.
