This company is amazing from the time I ordered it 3 days ago. To the time my goods were delivered. The sales man was amazing Paul Welsh. The delivery drivers were outstanding I could not of asked for no more absolutely amazing. I was informed by email and text all the way though my order thank you so much
Buy from anywhere else! Worst company, worst delivery drivers, worst furniture! Badly made and easily broken! So easy that almost everything they have delivered has arrived smashed! Even after promising quality checks at warehouse and upon delivery! Absolute joke! I'd be better off making my own! If you want to buy from here make sure you still have your old sofa just incase as you might be without one for a very long time! Delivery times are comical too! Apparently because they are hand crafted...clearly by pigeons! Employ skilled people if you want to charge those sort of prices! EDIT* They offered me £150 off my current sofa (that I have on finance) or £350 in store...we took the £350 and have ordered some furniture (table and chairs etc) let's see how these turn up...still have to wait weeks for them though! Will update when they arrive!
Ordered a three and two seater settee in Teal in September. Delivered in November. They delivered them in Granite. Customer services said to use them until replacements arrived in February (this Monday). They arrived when they said they would, problem was one was teal and the other was another granite one. Now second teal one is arranged for mid April. Customer service help in November was very good, apologetic and helpful. CS this week was dismissive and not at all bothered. Keeping fingers crossed that the right colour arrives April. Seven months from order to correct delivery (I hope) is excessive and pretty poor. Have to say that both pairs of delivery men were professional and helpful, also embarrassed as they frequently had to deal with the same problem

Ordered Oct 18, received four items in Feb 19. Total and utter shambles from start to finish. Excuse after excuse as one item was late, we were promised it a week later only to receive a call saying it wouldn't arrive in the morning due to it being misplaced.
Two weeks later we were assured that the item would be with us in a couple of days. Guess what, it didn't make it to the lorry for the delivery, more lies from OFL saying how sorry they were.
After five months of the order being placed, it arrived. Please go else where as this company are just shocking. I've had to give one star, I would rather give NONE-0-NOTHING.
I have spent 40 years working with flat packs and to be honest have never had a problem anywhere Until I received a Country Cottage Wardrobe yesterday.
When it arrived it was damaged but I could deal with that a simple glue and repair job.
However then came assembly. I have just spent 4 hours having to put right their own assembly errors. Can you believe the wardrobe itself came with both ends of the wardrobe being a Top! There was no bottom, just two tops! I had to use my own carpentry experience to rebuild it. But what if you do not have carpentry skills? The screws supplied were 15mm I ended up using my own 40mm screws.
I also had to remove the door catches and fit my own. I will never purchase from these guys again and I already contacting customer support will be a waste of time. By the way their furniture is made in India. I have plenty of pictures to share.
Purchased the item which is a top range double recliner. It arrived with only 1 not 3 transformers so couldnt use the rear recline.
2 one hour calls later having been promised a call back 4 days earlier assured 2 transformers had been sent but 2 days later only 1 arrived.
When plugged in the rear recline froze at maximum recline meaning couldn't use the sofa.
Another 1 hour call to vectold its friday evening we can do nothing till monday then can't promise a timescale so you will have to sit on the floor.

Delivery turned up, wardrobe and draws badly damaged and the delivery guys refused to put the rest of the furniture in the bedroom because they can't lift above waste height or upstairs. As I'm writing this I'm waiting for the second delivery to turn up to replace the damaged items from the delivery 3 weeks previously. It's 9:10pm and my delivery slot was 6pm - 9pm. Customer service is appalling. So poor it's unbelievable

Do not deal with this company. I paid for a corner settee in December 21. After one cancelled delivery it was due today, 1st June. However, they delivered half a settee and they do not know where the other half is. I am having people around tomorrow for the Jubilee celebrations and no settee to sit on. Customer Services is useless. No decision maker in the company. Asked if they could supply something to sit on. No, they can't do that. Really poor Customer Service. Computer says no so I can't do anything. Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

The most helpful advice I can give is - don't use this company. They take your money and do not deliver the full item and then can't find it. Customer Services is staff who take notes. No one can make a decision or sort your query out. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Dining set finally arrived after 6 month wait. Two chairs damaged. Four weeks later two new chairs delivered, also damaged and not returned. Two weeks later two new chairs delivered which had been quality checked in Manchester. Chairs arrived and one was cracked! Returned again. Fourth set also arrived damaged. They offered £140 refund for me to keep damaged chairs. Absolute joke, will never set foot in store again!

We ordered a large wardrobe and matching chest of drawers from the Poole shop in Dorset but when the wardrobe arrived it wouldn't fit up the stairs. Fair enough - that was our mistake - but they then charged £125 to take it away again. The chest of drawers did fit up the stairs but when we unwrapped it, it turned out to be a sideboard. We then spent virtually two days trying to speak to customer services and being stuck in a never ending queue on the phone. Eventually they replaced it with the chest of drawers, but we had to wrap the original sideboard up in cardboard just as it came before they would take it. What a bunch of idiots. Avoid!
Attitude off staff in store and on the phone line. They dont seem too want the business nor a job by the sounds of it. I rang the store up they didnt want check stock for me. So they said come on down ploy etc then they said we have one of what i wanted but are not selling that item for what ever reason. It really is laughable too behonest. Wasted journey and day.

Have a dining table and six chairs which i have had for a few years purchased in 2014, leather chairs have split and cracked despite using a good quality cleaner and cream, should not have done this if they were leather.

We ordered and paid for 2 wardrobes 2 bedside cabinets and a blanket box on 1st May 2021. We were asked when we wanted them delivered. Due to wardrobes ready quicker we requested them to come separately so extra delivery costs dispute. Got them ok then we kept getting emails every month it seemed please select a new delivery date. Then October 2021 date cancelled please select April 2022. We then cancelled blanket box and got bedside cabinets within a month so delivery May 2022. I suspected these fools had been getting one of these items and then fulfilling that order so with having 2 separate items never coming on the same boat we would never get our items. I confronted the salesman with my theory and he said this had happened to lots of customers and I was in fact correct. So the more you spend & the more items you buy the poorer the service. Our order number was ofl-*******.

Be prepared to wait longer than promised delivery times and pay full amount upfront. Blamed Covid but we also found out they had changed supplier which they admitted after my questioning.

So pissed of with Oakland furniture. Ordered new suit and furniture in October and they promised delivery December 17th. So I promised my old suit to a friend before the 17th. Sod's law is I phoned Oakland just before the 17th and ask what time the delivery will be, only to be told the delivery has changed and is now 7th January. Not one phone call/ email from them to explain the delay. So all over Christmas I have no furniture to sit on. Only a few table chairs available. 2020 has been bad enough never mind my family had the worst Christmas ever. Never ordering of Oakland again.

I have just taken delivery of a nest of tables and guess what one is damaged very badly, well that can happen in transit but the carry on trying to through to customer service and the hoops you have to go through to get a them to believe you. I had to take a photo of the damage and of the label under one of the tables and send it to them. I want a refund and I will never bye from this company again.
If we could give no stars we would. Worst company we have ever had the misfortune to deal with. In keeping with many other reviews we ordered furniture in September 2020 with a delivery date of December. One item was in stock so was reserved for us and the other was due in December. Close to this delivery date we received an email advising a revised date of February 21st. Close to this we received an email advising another delay until March. One week prior to this delivery we received a time slot. At 6pm the night before the 0930-1230 delivery we received a text advising another delay and asking US to contact THEM.
Ordered a dining table and 4 chairs 13/04/21. Was told delivery mid July, then told sorry it's going to be September. Then told sorry it's going to be November. Then believe it or not told expected delivery 01/02/22. Nearly a year after parting with nearly £900. Don't bother now waiting on a refund. Fingers crossed.!
Worst purchase experience ever, the sales man never say anything regarding flat pack and the table need 4 men to lift it to install the leg as it is 130kg. Customer service is rude and not provide any solution. And they ask for 125gbp to ship the stuff back due to their own misleading sales. Don't have any reputation at all, will never buy stuff from them.
Been trying for 4 hours to cancel a order and all you get is we will phone you back after going through all the options, still getting no where all you hear is we a very busy canceling orders whats that saying about the store. I bet if you wanted to put a order in you would get through pretty quick.

Atrocious service top to bottom.
I previously wrote a review of oak furniture land, how I had been waiting for 8 weeks for the delivery of a replacement table and how awful every aspect of dealing with this company has been.
I was contacted by the company and refunded money to compensate for the endless waiting time in exchange for amending my review, I removed the review with the understanding that my table would arrive on the delivery date agreed.
Today the wrong table has been delivered leaving me with no indication of when I will be receiving the correct one.
Order placed on the 2nd of May, it's now the 22nd of June.
I can't explain how bad this company is on every level except for taking your money, I would recommend buying from any other company except Oakfurnitureland!
Shocking company. Had a problem with our sofa and even though we took out the extra insurance the insurance will not fix the issue. Will not be giving this company another penny and wouldn't advise anyone else to. You just get passed between the insurance and oak furniture land because no one wants to take responsibility and even though the insurance is "nothing to do with oak furniture land" you always seem to make it back to their automated phone line. About time this company was outed for the lack of customer service and the quality of their products
Absolutely terrible. I won't be using this company again. I was persuaded to buy furniture protection insurance from them by a salesman (I never buy insurance as it is a waste of time) to protect my furniture from accidents, I've had an accident with it now and when I check the online documents I find out that it isn't covered. I was told by the salesman that accidents created by children would be covered and I check now and it turns out it isn't. I contact oak furniture land and after a month of waiting I am told that they can't help me with this matter, I don't understand how they can't help me when it was them that mis-sold it to me. Their customer service is terrible and I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Absolutely disgraceful!

We bought two Brighton Sofas received them 6 weeks ago and they now look like 6 year old sofas. The cushions are turned daily and treated with respect, we are pensioners who look after things. Why should I send photos are our words not good enough. The sofas in the shop are a better quality than the two delivered to our home. We are never going to buy anything from OFL again. A "free" mirror had a chip on the corner of the mirror. Very very disappointed don't go to OFL they have the chat but they don't have the goods to back up their statements.
Ordered a 3 seater and single leather chair start Oct after seeing advertisement Delivery Before Christmas, got email confirming delivery on 16.12.2021 between 08.00 am and 11.00 am, received phone call at 10.50 from O F L saying delivery driver had been in contact to say my items were not on lorry? LOL, WTF and would not be delivered until FEB 16TH? LOL, Tried to get through to the call centre at night for near an hour to get refund to my credit card as i dident have it with me when they called at 10.50 with no joy will have to try again in morning as i want a refund
