My daughter booked the flight from Toronto to Helsinki and from there to Oslo, Istanbul and back to Toronto. She didn't take the flight from Helsinki to Oslo and instead got a separate flight from Oslo to Bergen because her uncle was there at that time. She had planed to get back to Oslo and take the flight to Istanbul anyways. After she went to Bergen the coup happened in Turkey and she contacted Onetravel to cancel the flight from Oslo to Turkey and get refund and get back to Toronto. Guess what they said first of all they don't cancel the flight and she can only re-book it and has to pay almost same price as new ticket for the rest of flight again, just for re-booking. Secondly because she has not showed up for the flight from Helsinki to Oslo there rest of her flight is automatically cancelled. It is the most ridiculous claim I have heard, it cannot be a policy. What if she had lost the flight inadvertently and wanted to use the rest of the flights. It means that for the next flight if she had showed up in the airport she couldn't have used the rest of her booking and flights. It is an absolute rip-off.
Also it was the worst customer service experience. They were barely understandable and trained to just make money for Onetravel at any cost. Onetravel was our worst experience in travelling. Stay away from them.

Pax was assisted and the airline is allowing the taxes to be refunded, pax also no-showed the flight, in normal cases he loses the entire value of the ticket. We booked 2 roundtrip tickets with them. They offered what they claimed as the "best and cheapest" deal that day. They did not informed us about the travel arrangements we need to do so we ended up not able to board the airline because we need a visa to be able to layover on one of our connecting flights. We called them to ask for options or maybe a refund so we can rebook our trip but they did not even bother to explain or apologize. "That is our policy, we don't give refund for a cancelled flight."
It's not a cancelled flight! They did not do their responsibility as travel agents to inform their consumers properly what is/are needed for the flights. They just don't book flights. We can do that. Their responsibility is much more in which they ultimately failed. So we waited and called them and it has been months already but they won't give us a single refund. Their management won't even talk to us. We don't have anything against the staff for we know they are just following orders BUT they can be nicer instead of being rude too. Manners please. Your customer representatives for Petes sake! I don't know why they even exist when they can't do and carry out their responsibilities efficiently. Waste of time and money. Never again.

I am travelling with my 15 Months baby. They sold ticket to us: Vancouver-Nanjing-Kunming- Kathmandu. When we reached at Vancouver Airport, the airline(China Eastern) staff told us we can not go through China because transit time in china is more than 24 hrs and for more than 24 hours, we need China visa. We wondered, we claimed that Ticket is displaying less than 24 hour, why not? Finally we knew that One Travel sold us wrong ticket, the ticket dose not show the arrival time at Nanjing.

We called One Travel. After 1 hour waiting, the staff received our call, he was very rude, he did not help at all. He was saying, he did not understand our language, Scary?
We gave phone to China Eastern Staff to mention what had happened. It did not work. He put us on hold for 45 minutes telling he has to talk with manager, he did not help and said it is passenger responsibility.

We have to go so we requested china eastern staff and they changed the schedule after paying extra money. We have booked hotel at Kunming and China Eastern Staff told us that we can still use the hotel.

We reached at Kunming at 1.00 am, Now I am at Kunming with my baby. Hotel person did not show up. There is no money exchange, I can not use my credit card. I have no food for my baby and we are crying at Kunming Ariport now.

God help us.

This is one of the biggest scamming websites I ever know. Stay way from onetravel.com and cheapoair.com otherwise you can end up with no tickets like me. Free advice!

BEWARE FOLKS!
THIS IS A BULL$#*! SITE!

THEY DON'T EVEN DESERVE A STAR! But I had to put one to submit my review:(

While dealing with this COVID-19 and flight restriction into Canada, I've been trying to cancel my flights since March 13th and no avail. Their phone numbers that I could find or received through emails aren't working or when you call, you get a voicemail saying: « the client you are trying to reach is not available »... click.

I can't cancel my flights directly with Air Canada because I've booked my flight with a third party. So if you are looking to book a CHEAP flight(s) DO NOT USE ONETRAVEL.COM!

A $1200 (CAD) lesson learned!

I saw a lot of positive reviews on TrustPilot that are all FAKE REVIEWS and BULL$#*!!
Please DON'T get suckered!

This establishment pulls you in then when you book they take your money and change your departure date and play on your desperation, be very careful if yo uneed to book with tnem

Coco, I show that this reservation was booked online, and not with an agent,. So what ever date was selected on the website is exactly what got booked. I do see that the change was made to the departure date on a oneway ticket. Also, I don't see the name Coco on this booking!

One evening in early October I tried to book a hotel through One Travel. I woke up the next morning to find I had an email from One Travel stating that they could not book my hotel room, as the credit card was declined, which later my wife & I discovered was declined because we had already booked several flights that day for our kids to come home over Thanksgiving & the card company flagged it as a possible fraud, so they put a hold on the card. The email they sent back stated that they had cancelled the reservation & IF I wanted to book the hotel again, I would have to try to book it again on the website. By that time I had located a better deal on a different travel website and booked it.
I then found out several days later that One Travel had continued to try to charge our credit card for this room until, ultimately, it went through. So they went ahead & charged me for a hotel room that I did not use and they had already told me they did not book. I have been calling One Travel since approx October 10th to get them to credit our credit card, as of today, November 19th, they have still not refunded our $558. I have spent numerous hours on the phone trying to track down the refund and have gotten a litany of excuses as to why I have not received it. People say they will call me back, they don't. They have sent me emails telling me that I will receive the refund within 14-21 days, it never comes & then I have to call to track again. They always have some ridiculous excuse. Stick with Expedia, Travelocity, or Bookit, as One Travel is terrible... the very worst I have ever dealt with.

This is FRAUD! DON'T use them! They advertise cheap prices, charge credit card, issue confirmation and next day you receive message demanding more money!

Booked a flight from LAX to Zurich and reserved an exit seat through Onetravel. Even got a confirmation mail from them. When arrived to LAX, Swiss executive said there is no reservation for my seat and that it is taken. They even called OneTravel who admit to them that they screwed my reservation. Had to spend 10 hours in a lousy seat near the toilet. When arrived home tried to contact OneTravel. Customer service tried every excuse in the book: First they blamed Swiss, than said they never got a call from Swiss, then moved on to the next excuse: it's a rare technical problem, at the end they even said that they knew about it at the day of my departure when it was too late. But I had my confirmation mail from them weeks ago and contradict every excuse they had... At the end, they offered me a 25$ copun... I told them I will never use that copun because I'm not planing to use OneTravel ever again. Didn't seem like it matter to customer service (who by the way has poor english and keep transfering you from one rep to another untill you just give up). In two words: STAY AWAY.

DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE ITS A SCAM, i bought a ticket from them and tryed to confirm it with the airlines and they had no information on me. Booking #, Confirmation #, Ticket # Passenger info nothing.
So i call one travel, they assure me im wrong. I wait 2 weeks, same thing, so I call the airline, they say they have nothing and i got scammed.
Call one travel, they assure me again, they said they called the airline, so I call the airline again and still no info.
I try to cancel with onetravel and they hang up on me. This happens 4 times until I contact my bank. One travel agrees with me to refund but i have to pay them another $100 and wait 3 months or more for my PARTIAL refund.

SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE

STAY AWAY FROM ONE TRAVEL.COM AT ALL COSTS! I should have recognized the bait and switch when I first tried to book, but I didn't. I selected my flights and when the confirmation came, the dates were different than what I wanted. So I called them to fix the problem. I have to say that they made that change (I requested the change within 3 minutes of booking.) When I started to review my itinerary for my return (admittedly a couple of days later), I THEN noticed that the RETURN date had been changed. I tired calling only to et a message that they wee only open during business hours. NOTHING on the the web site shows how to make or request changes... so I went to the FAQ. Found the 1-888 number to make changes. Called it. The only option from there was to request my Walmart gift card (if you don't take the option, the call disconnects). The woman who answered could not and would not help me in any way. She was in the promotion department and she became belligerent and nasty when all I wanted was to change my flight. NEVER. NEVER. NEVER. Avoid OneTravel.com!

Tip for consumers:
If OneTravel is the only thing you can use to take the trip, stay home!

First they charged me when i wasnt done booking. Then they did not warn me about loggage allowance so I was surprised when I got to the airport and had to pay my firts baggage.

I'd booked a 3-leg trip with OneTravel 2 years ago, with good outcome, so I booked a 2-leg trip for March 2020. When it was canceled due to Covid, OneTravel refused to refund the fare, insisting that I could rebook, but it had to be on United. In November, I called OneTravel to rebook. They had already pocketed $200. Of the March fare for a "cancellation fee", and they refused to give me ANY credit for my husbands fare, although he can no longer travel. So they pocketed $350. There too. It took almost 2 hours on the phone to book my trip, which cost less than the "$350. Credit" I had. The next day I saw OneTravel had charged my credit card an add'l $100. Another phone call, for an hour, had the agent insisting that I had OK'd the $100. "change" fee, which I had not, and they refused to provide the recording of the conversation in which they said I'd OK'd the $100. Charge. I had to object through my credit card, and get the $100. Back.
I'll never use OneTravel again and I urge you to find another way to book your trip.
