My insurance company requested my birth certificate to take profit of the insurance benefits coverage. I was on a rush so applying online was the best option. I didn't check the reviews from this company until I submitted my application. So when I read the bad reviews I was a bit scared but the process ran smoothly. The only thing that wasn't good enough was the shipping time. It took longer than I expected.
Yeah, I got the same lame thing as others said "they filled out a piece of paper for me", and gave me instructions to mail $32 to the state. I thought, what a bunch of shizzle. Then I requested a refund of the $94.00 dollars I paid to get two certificates. Yesterday I got a refund of $47.00. I have sent another request for a refund of the remaining $47.00. We'll see what I get. Otherwise, a bull shizzle company that does nothing but take "money for nothing" to quote Dire Straights.
Using onlinevitalus.com is an absolute waste of time. You fill out all the information online and all they do is put it onto a form and send it to you. You pay 47.00 for this service. You then have to take the form they send you and go get it notorized and mail it in with you additional money for birth certificates. It was a waste of money for me but i also should have done more research. I went and used the service through vitalchek and requires no leg work from you.
They don't even have anything to do with the vital statistics office. They gice you your info which is public record anyway, charge you $49, tell you to download forms, then from there you might be abls to order your certificate, for an additional charge, of course.
I used this website to get my birth certificate for my driving license. The service is correct, everything went as it is said on the website and the application is simple and quite straigfoward, however, I thought the logistical would be faster. It took longer than I spected. Overall, I am a satisfied client since the company offered me what I was looking for.
I tried to get my birth certificate thru these BS artists, the first attempt I was told that my debit card didn't go through, try again, which I did... the 2nd time, same thing, with the additional instruction to try another card... I tried that, but my credit card company sent me a text asking if I authorized the transaction, that was when a red flag went up and I said no. I then went to my bank and saw that they had made 2 attempts to withdraw from my checking account, but had flagged both tried. I told them to cancel both debit payments, and my bank was happy to do that. I then emailed online vitals USA to tell them that none of the transactions were authorized by me and I get a standard form reply with a case number and a "promise" that they would prioritize the case and get back to me within 24 business hours. That was a week ago. No reply, no return email, nothing.
They wouldn't reply to me when I asked how long it would take to get my birth certificate it had already been a month. So after a month and a half I requested a refund and received my money back the next day.
To be frank, I'm a messy person. And this really caught me up when I needed my passport to travel to Cuba. I couldn't find it anywhere! So I decided that the best was making an appointment to replace my passport. To do so, I was asked to provide a birth certificate as proof of identity. As it seemed a bit tricky, I decided to get help. Going to the central offices in Virginia wasn't an option for me. I didn't have time for that. After looking for an alternative, I found this company online. I can tell that it offered me what I needed. My birth certificate arrived quickly (three business days) at my mum's place. This company offers what they say: birth certificates for anyone who needs it.
As witnessed from the other reviews below, my wife was looking for a Florida form. She clicked, paid her $40.00 and they sent her a pre-filled out form. Could have done it for FREE. This company/website is for unwary consumers. They do FOR you what YOU could do for half or less. And you STILL have to get it notarized and mail it. And there are STILL MORE FEES if the state you are requesting from certifies the document. Total rip off. Do your homework folks. If the web address isn't. Gov, run away fast.
I had to get my birth certificate to renew my passport, and in California, you need to notarize your application. I used this site, and they were super helpful, telling me where to go to get it done and telling me exactly what to do to get it as fast as possible. Customer service took a little time to get back to me in the beginning but once they did, I was glad used them. Recommended.
If I could give this company a -0 I would. They charged $49 for a form that is free on the TX website that I had already filled out. When I wrote them asking them about all of the work they presented to me in writing which was from the legit website, they didn't respond. All I got was a recording and while someone would call, they would hang up and then conveniently waited until they could leave a message. Even the Texas Dept of Vitals said they're scammers. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Now I've got to lawyer up.
Cannot believe I got suckered into this. I was in such a hurry thatI didn't check the reviews. Why are they allowed to still be in business? You can download these forms for nothing and mail it in. Now I am paying 40.00 more than I should have for a birth certificate. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE!
Filled out forms pushed pay it told me payment didnt go through so thinking well it is state of Indiana try again!? Duh husband called me, said bank called him they have charged our card 7 times so far! WTF is up people beware anyway they are coming through Barcelona Spain! So much for Indiana. Rex &Cyndra Powell
So, I'm not sure why this site is allowed to be sponsered when it is a clear scam website. You will not get your birth certificate ordered to you! They will charge you to view your application and then send it back to you and inform you to send it to the vital records of your state. They are only teling you HOW to order your record for 47$ and then you still have to pay and ship the document yourself. Obviously the business has no moral standards and makes money over exploited People. Shame
This company is a scam, a complete and total scam. How can they still be in business? I paid $47 to expedite getting a certified copy of a birth certificate and all I got was a form that I could have gotten for free. They took all my info, now I'll probably get my identity stolen. DO NOT USE THIS "SERVICE".
NEVER NEVER use this group. GO directly to your county you are seeking records from and they will have VItal Check on their site which is above board not a false company. Dumb me - thought this was the same Vital Check I used for my dads death certificate. I did not go to the County where I was needing my information and clicked on this site. Immediately within 10 min of the payment I found my item I was requesting & immediately asked to cancel got a quick response. THEN the International charge hit my credit card. INTERNATIONAL! WHat the? DO NOT USE. No wonder there are so many illegal papers out there! PLEASE - go to the County you need something from first. AND - all you get from these scammers who are making millions of $$ is a PDF file typed out form with your information & then you need to print it out, complete & send in with more money to get your information you requested. SCAM
Well my lesson is a hard learned one. They lead you to believe that they will take care of EVERYTHING. The only thing they take care of is charging you $47 immediately and email you paperwork to send and you have to pay for the birth certificate on top of the $47 you threw down their greedy toilet.
Much easier the 4th time around. I'm retired and a much slower learner. But your system is user friendly, thank you!
Please keep my info secure.
Onlinevitalus.com is a clever ONLINE SCAM. READ EVERY WORD ON THEIR WEBSITE BEFORE YOU USE THEIR FAKE SERVICE. The attached 3 JPGS show the pages of the single pdf I got in return for a $47 payment. THEN I have to provide my own ID documents, addressed envelope, $26 check for the MN State fees, add postage and WAIT FOR 2-3 WEEKS FOR DELIVERY!
For $39 all I got was a blank application form. They couldn't even transfer the information into the form. And I still have to pay the state another $20 to get the certificate. Disgusting " business" practice. WARNING BUYER BEWARE!
Answer: So what what did your state attorney say? I hope you got a decent answer, but obviously they are still up and running.
Answer: You're not getting ANYTHING. You just wasted your money like the rest of us did.
