Freaking ridiculous that after we make a payment our funds aren't reflected in our account for use for an additional 8 days! Money out of my account and now I'm out bad because they want to hold my money people have timely bills to pay and things to do that require credit cards and this flaw makes it very hard to move through life with them holding your funds for so long for no good reason! Very annoying and when you want to make an expedited payment by card they act dumb like they don't know what your talking about and flat out say they can't do that... When in their cardholder agreement they explain the expedited payment process making you have to end the call just to get someone to make the payment for you rude customer service wish I read the reviews first sh*tty card avoid at all cost unless you absolutely have no other options to build credit even then it will be frustrating
Takes almost than 3 weeks to process a payment. This payment was made on May 1st and didn't post until the 19th. Payment was $114 that is shown should have brought me to a 0 balance. Since 1 transaction was made for $20. It's May 22nd and my card was declined for $3 even though it shows I have available credit as you can see. On top of that I should have more available credit than it shows. Can someone please tell me how to pay a past due balance of $0?... I'm confused. How can the consumer better their credit and keep track of their account if the company is not updating the info?
I've had this card for a year now and I've not had any issues. My credit score is up 200 points and it's amazing. The card itself is nothing fancy, takes a while to report so you have to be careful of when you carry a balance and when you pay it off, but once you get the hang of that it's easy. It also takes some time to update the balance before you can make a payment and after you make a payment so it's not for someone who intends to financially rely on it. I've never had to deal with customer service so I'm not sure how they are, but I'm not sure why I'd ever have to talk to them in the first place.
If you just need something to build your awful credit, this is the perfect card. If you're looking for something to be an actual credit card for financial stability or large purchases, this is not it.
I called in to closed my account today 6/8/2023 because the customer is extremely worst than I thought, the fees and respond from mailing it took more than 60 days to respond a letter.
I was trying to rebuild my credit but my credit is getting more ugly and when I had a question than it took me forever to get the answer. I don't recommended to anyone trying to rebuild credit history from this company.
My credit went bad after losing a job. Someone suggested this secured card to get my credit score up after I was employed. I made sure I paid on time with it. This card has helped me tremendously! Now I have a credit score of 760! It really helps you.
I mail off a money order on 9/29/2020... and today is 10\12\20... my payment still have not post to my account... I have even track the money order, and open sky have not cash my payment yet... I even made sure that it was mail to the correct address... I am very upset... where is my 150.00 payment!
I had a 2 dollar amount that I was told I didn't have to pay since I was closing my account and that they would take it out of my deposit instead. Instead they charged me $25 dollar return check fee and refused to give me the money back. Didn't send my deposit to me for 4 weeks.
It took six weeks to receive my card in the mail. Customer service is horrible. I had to make my first payment (35.00) by telephone before I had received my card. It takes a week before your payment is posted to your account. Try capital one or anything other then Opensky.
It's been 28 days and still no sign of my 3k dollar deposit. I closed my account with a zero balance, hadn't used the card in months, and they still won't give me my money back. Filling complaints wherever I can.
So for literally no reason, at all they disable my ability to use my bank account for payments. Tried a different bank account, this one was also disabled for no reason at all. Called them, and they couldn't make it make sense for me. I cannot pay my bill because of their system, worst credit card ever, period.
Answer: I too, gave the my money on 2/21/17 and am still waiting on a card so that I may use my funds that I gave them!
Answer: I got a letter stating up to 10 weeks. What a grifter organization. Probably Hunter Biden is on their board and the big guy runs the check book!
