Origin

I hate this. Nothing works, and when it magically does work, it sucks so hard Hoover wants to study it to improve their vacuums. I imagine the EA workers who developed this took a look at other services like steam and epic and said "Yeah, lets do that, but make it $#*! like everything else we do." Somehow, the UI looks fuzzy and out of focus. I know that I can fix this issue in my settings, but I shouldn't have to do anything other than download the stupid service that I didn't even want, but was forced too just too play $#*!ing starwars battlefront. In a age where there are companies dediciated to helping people with a 3rd grade education make semi-decent websites, Origin wasn't able to make an interface that doesn't look like it was taken on a $#*!ing nokia. I didn't think that a massive orginization that isn't affiliated with the US government could $#*! anything up this badly, but EA proved me wrong.

In 20 years of owning edgewaterpcdotcom I have never ever seen a program so buggy. I have literally reinstalled it 100's of times... and even that is not simple because it fights itself during uninstall and then fights itself AGAIN on reinstall. You will need to be pretty tech savvy to keep it up and running. Or just get it working and then never shut down! Forces updates and then its own updates crash the program! Every time... over years and years with no fix. Origin sucks really really bad but we are forced to use it for Battlefield 4.

I bought NFS Payback (disc) and it took an hour and a half to install. After installation, the game was literally nowhere? And Origin asked to download it? Like wth was I waiting this long if I'll have to DOWNLOAD the game later (download time: 15+hrs)?

I had purchased an expansion pack bundle for the Sims four and after buying it I realized it was on the wrong purchase card so I messaged in ended with anyone else would do and request a refund and instead of this going properly and then helping me out I have so far had to verify my email three times the first time they emailed my email which is the same email attached to the account I had purchased the products on and needed me to send them back with the same email the email that was attached to the account the second two times were me needing to send a number code. Come they third time I received an instant automated message back telling me that their message box was full and I cannot contact them for a certain amount of time.

I have paid for Sims 4 on EA and have dowloaded and had Origin on my PC since december. I had many issues but still used because there are no other options. Now I am having the same issues as "not found" files that are in my computer etc. Do the things that have worked with addvice given on your website to fix the issue still nothing no accurate things you say "work" have worked. Its frustrating because I payed for a game and system that i have to use origin for only and i continue to have issue becasue of the Origin app. So, I do not give you a good rating and I hope someone seeing this creates us a platform that is succesful and you actually helpful to your users

This is by far the most worthless, horribly put-together piece of garbage program I have ever used. For games that require Origin to play it is a constant nightmare. I have tried on multiple machines and always have SOME sort of issue. EA needs to stop trying to make people use this awful system and until it is completely overhauled or removed completely I STRONGLY suggest not even bothering playing any EA titles that require it.

So, here is a summary of my situation: I am from germany, i like to play most of my games on english. My store is set to german of course.
Changing the language is a nightmare! If you want to install a game in a certain language you have to set your launcher to that language and install the game. If you for some reason want to change the language, because maybe you forgot to set your language to english or the games syncro is bad you can't simply change the language in the settings or in the launcher (rightclick the game -> settings, you know what i mean. It is a basic feature everywhere else.
No, you have to uninstall the entire game, change the launchers language to for example english and then download and install the entire game again. That's a massive inconvenience.

My poor partner was reported for hate speech when he told an aggressive player "chill bro" in the chat. So what did origin do? Banned his account for a week. Do better.

If I could give it negative stars I would. Bought a game and it required that I download Origin platform. I did this. It gives me worse performance that Windows 8. It would required periodic updates that then made the performance impossible. It would require multiple reboots to get it working again. Then, a few days ago it just stopped working. Corrupted I guess. The best suggestion EA had was to uninstall and then reinstall Origin. Unfortunately, it won't let you uninstall it either. Piece of garbage.

I'm an avid Battlefield player and I have played them all. What I can say about EA is that I enjoyed playing this franchise until they got involved and I'm not alone. I care more for smooth gameplay without hacking and they are more about making it pretty and animations. You can guess how this has turned out. EA sucks the marrow from triple A titles by micromanaging with a dollar line down dictatorship. Currently nobody still works from Dice from the days that I enjoyed and they've switched the TTK gameplay multiple times. After alienating anybody who enjoyed the franchise they blamed everything but the sun. Congradulations EA, we'd expect nothing less from you.
Their lack of anticheat also stands out, but their management has already made us forget this franchise. BTW BF6 comes out next year and they "promise" to do better next time, meanwhile the entire player base has moved on to to the abundant greener pastures.

I have been trying to play the sims 4 for the past 5 days and origin will not let me resume updating it. I do NOT recommend purchasing any games from this website.
