Origin

This gaming platform is trash. After I finally managed to move around the installation files enough to fix the garbage broken software I PAID THEM FOR to get it to run, they passed another update and broke the game again, only now the files I removed aren't there to fix it again. Never, ever buy anything related to Westwood studios from them, EA is a disgrace and will literally sell you a broken product and provide ZERO customer support. They're scum.

Worst client I've ever seen. Please close down your company. The game doesn't install sometimes, the servers are down a tleast twice a week. Can't verify new accounts. Actually just beyond broken. As I said SHUT THIS PEICE OF $#*! DOWN.

I love how it keeps all my sims packs together and that I can (and have) order sims packs and simpoints. The free games are a plus, I was lucky enough to get one of my other favorite games Zuma for free! Thats awesome. At first I was a little mad I could only use my Sims3 through this "damn origin thingie" but now I've become very familiar at navigating the site and I couldn't be happier with it! I at one point had to get my laptop factory reset and all the games downloaded into it GONE... and I couldn't find 2 of my game disks one being the main game Sims 3. If you're a Simmer then you know how expensive the whole collection can be and here I was helpless... Not With Origin! I logged on and POW there they all were in their in all their addictive glory! THANK YOU ORIGIN!

In my opinion, EA shouldn't make Origin Game Platform because it just intense when I am using it. How much intense? SO MUCH, I know that EA had made Origin like years ago but I still don't like the services.
First Con: I only can use 1 device to play an ONLINE game. I bought the game and the thing I got is only 1?
Second Con: For someone just came to Origin for the first time, you just can't navigate where you should go and how to buy a game you like. BECAUSE you can't put it in the carts. Wait, there is no cart xD.

You should waste your money on Origin. If you have any problems with it, you are alone, as they will deny existence of all problems. "Their service if flawless, and problem is in user."

I bought two sims 4 games, eco lifestyle and pets on June 15,2020. For whatever reason, for whatever unknown reason, unbeknownst to them they sent me an email saying they refunded me for my two games. I am rightfully confused because I never requested a refund. Why request a refund when I got one game for cheap. That makes zero sense. All I receive is that is unfortunate but you have to buy these games again. They should have a confirmation on a refund order and not "okay, refund request, refund request sent" No! That is how mistakes like this happens. It needs a two step process. Like a bank, your bank is like you requested a withdrawal, of this not you please change cards and pin in order to avoid false bank exchange. Password reset? Is this who requested this? If not ignore, change password or something. Origin has this? No they do not. Now I'm a down two games and my gaming experience is bugged. I'm furious with this.

All emails are on different days and zero alerts about a refund being issued by me between those two emails. Yeah, ridiculous.

Sadly I could not give this 0 stars. Tried everything but still nothing. Truely sad! Why do we even need this $#*!? I just wanne have some fun you know

Grabbed a fps on steam that I loved to play on my PlayStation and wanted to play with friends on pc. Lo and behold I have to download a launcher that I will only ever use on this one game, and not only that I get told that it can't run at the same time as ea's other fricken launcher. WHICH WASN'T RUNNING! And then idk if it's cause they don't know how to pull their head out their butts at ea, my password for the same way account has to separate passwords... just why

If you're a fan of battlefield or apex legends and have no other means of playing them then yes. Get origin. If you do have other means of playing those games, NEVER DOWNLOAD ORIGIN. It will slow down your computer and will ALWAYS give you issues and lag IN GAME AND OTHER. Origin is complete garbage and I REALLY FREAKING wish there was a different way I could play battlefield. Yes, I know, battlefield is now on Steam... BUT YOU STILL NEED TO OPEN ORIGIN TO PLAY THOSE GAMES! That's the dumbest thing I've ever seen. Literally just another wall you have to climb over in order to play good games on a terrible launcher. I really hope EA collapses and lets DICE go to a better company who won't ruin their games.

I bought a game on steam, sadly it requires this trashy origin launcher. If I run game on steam, origin launcher will open and ask me for game cd-key, so it wants me to buy game second time.

DO NOT, repeat, DO NOT touch this company with a barge pole. I signed up nearly 8 weeks ago and have no broadband. That's no subscription tv, no catch up tv and trips to farthest corner of the house for my poor 3G signal. I have spend hours in chat room or on the phone ( and to be fair the receptionists and technicians are fine). The problem is THEY DONT HAVE THEIR OWN ENGINEERS. They use Openreach who have been out 3 times. But still I wait. I ask to cancel my contract and reimburse monthly charges but am told it'll cost me to cancel early ( true they actually said that!). Constant updates (almost every 3-4) WHICH you can't play your games if you don't perform them. NO SUPPORT, constant bot replies if you need help. Worst of the worst. I wish FIFA used no platform (or a different one) for games. DON'T DOWNLOAD - SUPPORT - BUY Origin, if you have a chance.

I recently wanted to buy a new game on my windows 10 pro, I found this software (Origin) where I can buy really great games on a laptop since I don't have a PC or ps4. I ended up buying a game (Which by the way, costed 50 dollars!) and Origin told me I had to install Origin as an app, I tried to install it and it refused to let me install it, it came up with an error and specifically explaining what the error was or what I could do to fix it. I ended up spending almost the whole of my weekend trying to fix it but nothing worked. I had a break from figuring it out and then the next day I got an email from origin saying I had violated the terms of agreement (which I had not) and banned my account. I didn't even get to play the game at all and they didn't give the 50$ dollars back. Waste of time and money. I hope no one makes the same mistake.

I can not play my already installed and activated Sims 3. I click on my shortcut from my desktop and origin pops up saying I have to activate my game. When I put the code in, I still can not play it. I had this happen to another game while back. I do get a call yeah that is bs. They said they deleted my game from my library, but won't say why. Plus they want to do oh wait for an email that will not ever come to get you game back... they are thieves. DO NOT EVER BUY A GAME FROM THEM OR DOWNLOAD THE STUPID SYSTEM THEY HAVE!
