OK, I have 2 phone lines at my property, 1 in the annex and 1 in the house. The annex is still running BT Internet, and the house is running Origin. They both use the same cable from the exchange to our house, then the cable splits, to both property's.
As Origin WiFi is so abysmal I have connected BT boosters to the annex Bt router, I am getting an average of 40gb from this at approx 20m from annex.
If I stand next to the Origin router with the same devices then I'm lucky to average at 10gb and constant drops, which is awesome when trying to watch TV programmes.
If it is true that all calls are recorded then if one was to go through the recorded transcripts of the sales person whom sold me Origin, it was clear that I was told Origin will beat or better BT! Oh! How wrong!.
I have had a chat with the tech team and tried different channels as suggested, and I have also checked the gb speed hard wired which is great, but this is 2020, everything is WiFi, phones, fridge, printer, TV, laptops, tumble dryer, etc, etc,
So I would just like what I was promised, nothing less! I was told I have the best you have, which I asked for, so, does this mean origin are not that great? Now if this is the case then fine, end my contract and let me go, but I'm not prepared to pay £400 odd pounds to leave the contract, when you are not supplying what your sales person has promised.
Its a bloody pain, but I can do reviews every week or so, I would rather not! I would like whats promised or let me go no strings attached.

Crashes every time. Crap website. Use steam. Origin is so bad. Fix it ea. It just wastes your time.

Hi, I have no been in touch with Origin support for over three weeks. I initially downloaded and paid for a game that crashed my Macbook. I applied for a refund within 5 hours but the site failed to refund me. I have since been in touch 7 times only to be told that their "specialist team" is looking into why I was unable to be refunded within 5 hours of purchase. After my third attempt at getting any kind of help, Origin/EA charged my card without permission.
I have spoken to countless customer service operators including Ismail C (who ended the chat with me without being prompted to, telling me "have patience" even though I had not heard from your team for over 10 days), Divyam, Akash S., Yaman K. Ducky P. Sandeep C.
I raised my case for a refund immediately, it has been admitted by your team that the issue for the refund is your sites problem, I have spent over 5 hours trying to resolve this matter. The cases that I raised were closed without responding to me and finally, when I contacted Ismail C today, he told me I was not eligible for a refund because the 24 hours had passed. Ismail C was downright rude, disrespectful and disruptive.
After I provided the proof that your team has admitted that it is your fault and I have confirmation that my refund request is still open, Ismail simply said "OK". No apologies for lying to me and no help to resolve the matter what so ever. I can only call what Origin has done as fraud and a scam.
I have all the transcripts of my chats as well as the 5 cases I have opened.
I have tried to process a refund 11 times, all of which were within the 24h window. I have not launched the game since and I do not intend to as it nearly ruined my computer.
I will continue to try and process my refund and I intend to post everywhere so that others do not have to deal with the horrendous experience of dealing with Origin and EA.
When I Try To Download A Game It Won't Let Me Download It. This Should Not Be Happening. I Do Not Recommend This To Anyone.
