I have tried to cancel and have tried to remove the renewal portion of my account and they keep renewing me. How can I make them stop renewing me?

But continued to SPAM me with daily emails that I had several "matches" and people interested in me. After a few months of getting those emails, I decided to sign on again and pay so that I could see who "liked" me, but the system would not accept my credit card. I tried several times, same thing. I called my credit card and they said no attempts had been made. I called/emailed OurTime & was finally told by an agent that I had been banned from the site forever, that is why the system would not accept my payment! Then he said I could never, never, never, sign on again! No reasons given, except the date my account was locked was the date I had complained. However all the following months THEY WERE SPAMMING ME WITH EMAILS... so all those guys who had "liked" me had wasted their time, and they were being fooled as well... the website was continuing to promote me/my picture etc, while banning me from the site! SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO unethical. Spams are unethical too... they should be shut down by the FTC for using various trickeries.

Its an ok site, nothing to write home about. I prefer primetimelove.com for meeting singles of a certain vintage;-)

Still no refund on event that was cancelled. This was to see Sunset Boulevard in Lonfon. Amount was £47.

As a professional blogger I know my way around the internet, unlike some in their fifties. However, us silver surfers are the fastest growing users of the internet and the fastest growing buyers of tablet devices, so make no mistake about it, were not far not far behind the youngsters when it comes to anything on the web. Online dating is a great example and were a big draw for the dating companies because a) we have money b) we have time and c) half of us are divorced or have suffered the loss of a partner. Because of this, id advise anyone reading this to settle for nothing but the best, as youre a special customer and with all the options out there, finding romance or companionship online is definitely a buyers market. OurTime is an excellent site (you may not know this but the market leading dating company, match.com, are the people behind this site. Its one of the best options (perhaps only bettered by primetimelove.com but i shall be doing a separate review on that later) due to how easy it is to use and the number of people you can find on the site. It works well on my iPad (love my ipad!) and once youve spent an hour with the site you really can be comfortable. I find that the gentlemen who contact me are just that - gentlemen, which is a nice bonus! Ive met with three or four now, having been using the site since i signed up on valentines day, and enjoyed a second date with a nice chap at a ten pin bowling alley, something i hadn't done since i was a teenager! Id certainly recommend the site to anyone that is looking for something simple, tried and tested. Its inexpensive and if you do decide its not for you, you can cancel without too much bother (unlike other sites). If you give it a try, I wish you all the best. Thanks for reading!

Every time I so far that I have received a response from a particularly attractive woman with great pics (sometimes not) I get a response full of bad grammar like a 1st grader... tells like "can I have your email"... and so forth... this is months and months of the same ol same ol... I just want to tell anybody reading this review that this so called dating website is a money grab by the providers... who provide no service other than to insure to you the consumer that you will be dealing with scammer/grifters/hustlers and worse with no effort by them to insure you DON'T... Please ladies be safe and use a different site! Never give money for ANY reason to anyone you have not met or do not know well. Even if they send you flowers and or gifts! They will try to get you to rescue them from many different situations. DO NOT FALL FOR IT! This site is a total waste of time and money. I had a six month subscription due to a sale. I had so many fake profiles. I would report them only to see them pop back up on my matches the next day. The one's that do answer are scammers/catfish. These are the attractive well accomplished men. They have to travel for work or family. A lot of thrm work for oil companies as contractors and on oil riggs. They will try to get you to give them money, do not do it but if you can get as much information like bank account information, address of bank, name of bank and name on the accounts. Never give them your bank information. Then go to the FBI website and report it. I had serval scammers. I never gave them anything. They will get angry with you and try to pressure you. The last one I reported to the FBI after finding the man who belonged to the stolen identy. This man had said it was not the first time his identity was stolen and he has not been able to stop them from stealing it. The other men were either far away, men I was not interested in or so creepy I would never respond to them. I am an attractive, educated woman who wasted time and money on this site. Please be safe, always meet in a public place, do not give them your address even to send you gifts or flowers no matter what site you use. I hope this helps both the men and women looking for a dating site.

OUR TIME IS A HORRIBLE DATING SITE. NOT USER FRIENDLY AT ALL. EXTREMELY HARD TO KEEP UP WITH CONTACTS MADE AND MESSAGES. A WASTE OF MONEY!

This site lacks everything we take for granted as part of a respectable business operation. Yes, initial cost might seem low, but the operation and service does NOT meet the barest minimum of service. My experience and response is from a male perspective.

There is no site wide ability to select geographic match limitations. Daily match referrals will include profiles from all over the country. Even in the search system, which does allow a search specification of "close" to a specified zip code, you are presented with contacts 4 -5 hrs driving time away!

Of those daily matches, expect a good number will be inactive or fake profiles. After composing a message to a presented "match" who really is not an active member, you will be given the option to enroll in a "reply for free" program ($8.95/month) that allows the non-member to respond.

There is no respecting desired status of the match. Constantly, as a guy seeking biologically correct females, the site presents a guy sporting a female name as a possible match. NOT in my world! Complaints about this are met with a form letter email that claims your concern will be addressed shortly. Don't hold your breath. A personalized response NEVER comes.

Another common scam is the presentation of very attractive female photos claiming to be in your reasonable age frame, but obviously very young. Of the ones conceivably (visually) in an appropriate age range, after some initial communication, expect to be requested to help financially with some sort of emergency situation. Although less common recently, in language syntax, they seem to have an oriental or Spanish back ground. Fortunately, they are easy to pick out, and if you are so inclined, good fun to screw with.

The site's email system is another joy! The cursor constantly jumps around the screen, inserting type in unintended locations. It is best when signing in to tap the keep me logged in button, otherwise, in the middle of typing, your communication will be dropped, without any advance notice or automatic saving of intended message. If you are logged in to stay, you can select to log out when desired. You will also be notified when giving a detailed email that you are out of space and must close/send. They really must have searched hard to find such a poorly performing email system.

As with any broken clock (showing the correct time twice a day) occasionally it is possible to meet an interesting prospective & active "match". In those very rare situations, all the negatives in dealing with the site might be over looked, but most of us can have better and more enjoyable use of our time.

Unfortunately, this program will not accept a file in word format and is requesting jpg or other photo file format. That will require printing the email and then scanning in as a photo. Unfortunately, I am not in my office and am unable to accomplish those tasks at the moment, working on my laptop away from office.

I believe our time must go to the jail houses and take pics of men and post them on their site just to say they have profile pics of men up posted. TERRIBLE looking men I could just CRY. Stay clear of this DREADFUL awful site, FAKE FLIRTS are generated to non subscribers to make you CURIOUS as to see who sent you a FAKE FLIRT, when we all no it was generated by OURTIME to get you to depart with your money. I cant believe this site is still up and running. I got a FLIRT from a man, then when I clicked on his profile it showed he had not even viewed me, again FAKE generated FLIRT from ourtime. I left Facebook dating service, as it had many imposters. So I decided to pay for a dating service to see if it had any better qualities. To my disappointment it did not. I joined on August 22/2023. I met who I thought was the person pictured below. I communicated for 3 days in which time we shared a cell phone number and started texting. On the third day/ evening I get a text asking me could he call me. By this time I was pretty involved and we had made a date for this coming Saturday. Foolishly I gave him my address through texting, so God knows what will happen to me? I only gave it to him because he was to pick me up for the date on Sunday. Back to Friday evening. He calls, he is known on the website as Mark, age 61,6 ft 2, living in Guelph, 1 hour from where I live. I said "hello",he said "hello" and I almost fell off my chair. It was the voice of A Very Old Man, very low very crotchety voice. I stayed silent until he spoke again. He asked me how I was. After Gathering my shock at his voice I said "who are you?" You are not the voice of the picture I am looking at. You are much older. He said sorry I can't help with that. I hope you believe me. I repeated you are not Mark. He hung up the phone. I immediately blocked my number but that gives me no comfort, knowing he has my address. Here's where it gets weird. I researched his phone number on reverse lookup and it turns out the number is a Telus landline registered in Camrose, Alberta.# *******521. A little too late but I Googled Mark's photo after I hung up the phone. There was no way to do that without asking Mark to send me a photo to my phone. On these websites you can't do anything with the photos that are posted. Turns out Mark who you can see is a very good looking guy that's who I thought I was talking to, lives in England and is a very well-known model. Beware you women out there. There are hundreds and hundreds of frauds. Where I'm really upset is this company charged money claiming they do all this research before the people who are registering get put online. That is a crock. I had a second run-in with another person who wouldn't leave me alone I was able to block him but he started using sexual language and trying to chase me. I tried to be polite and tell him I'm not interested in those kinds of things. He just kept haunting me finally I blocked him. These dating sites need to clean up. They also need a new set of rules. But more importantly I would like my money back I have only been there since Tuesday it is now Saturday. So give me my money back you Crooks

I too fell under the belief that the trial membership was free. However when I was setting my profile up they offered me a $7.95 weekly charge for their best plan. Like a fool I gave them my credit card and the next screen that popped up showed me I was now on a 6 month plan for 111.76. I tried to find a phone number but to no avail. So I went under my account in OurTime and selected to Account Status. I then chose to contact customer service but the emails kept telling me to go back to the website to handle this.
Well that was not going to work for me. I decided to continue to reply to that same automated email form them about 10 times. I called my bank the next morning and disputed the charges. I also went in to the bank to cancel my debit
Card and complete another form(its not a big deal). The bank told me the company had 10 days to respond to the dispute the charges and if not they would deposit the money back into my account. To my surprise I received a email (2 days after they took the money) telling me they would refund me the money. Now lets hope they do that. I hope
