Over Stock has all the items a person may need everything from clothing to gadgets and furniture. Fast shipping and nice people customer service are top line five star so feel safe feel comfortable and shop even on the phone there happy to help don't get discouraged they have it. I love them Overstock awesome...

“Products are subpar and pricing is incomprehensible”

Product I received had missing parts. We tried to buy some from hardware but two major crossbars are missing. Now they say we don't have the parts, take the whole thing apart, find a box and pay the postage to send it back to us. If it is this bad, and you can't fix it then send a new one. You get various coupons, many which are expired. How is it fair to charge different people different amounts for the same product. My other purchase which was a vacuum was of poor quality and seemed used. What does Overstock mean anyway. I think it means over the hill, over priced, over hyped but definitely not over any expectations. Extremely disappointed and will never use this website or company for purchases. I will let my consumer friends know why I have been so frustrated and outraged by the service that seems nice but accomplishes absolutely nothing. How embarrassing.

Read the fine print, buried in the return policy: If you use one of those 15-20% off email offers that you are bombarded with from Overstock.com, then return the item for a refund, THEY DEDUCT THE 15-20% "OFF" FROM THE AMOUNT OF THE REFUND. So you buy at one price, then they make you pay the full price if you return the item. Who does THAT? Customer service is laughably poor--I talked to a kid who read from a script. I have blocked their merciless flow of emails and they are off my list. Never again. I would rather pay more and be treated fairly. There are some great vendors out there who go out of their way to try to keep your business (not just keep your money).

I ordered full set of dining chairs and a table, both came damaged. Hours spent unpacking, assembling, only to learn that chair holes were badly drilled and sent stripped screws. The top of a dining table had three distinct discolorations, no way to keep it. I called, emailed, requested replacements only if their so-called third party vendor would scrutinize furniture before sending. Customer service sent written confirmation that Vendor would carefully check quality before sending, even suggested I toss original packaging since they would guarantee problem solved. The second sets came damaged, turns out no Vendor did any pass on them. In order to now return off to Home Depot to buy heavy duty 22 x 22 x 22 boxes, packing tape, and spend an evening dis-assembling, moving into new boxes, prepping them for return pick up. Not an apology nor explanation from Overstock, nothing. Took hour today taping everything up to wait yet again all day for pick up to return.

Can't squeeze through my apartment hall, see all the four big hefty boxes waiting. UPS would not help me up stoop as Overstock promised, I did all the heavy lifting and banged up arms and elbows pushing 70 pound boxes into my place. Lesson learned: do not trust Overstock. It's easily to love the photos but no oversight of quality of furniture, poor customer service and I belatedly learned, an abundance of four star reviews prompted by offers of $20 credits. They edit the poor ones.

Don’t believe the reviews on the website. They pull ones that are negative and offer credits for favorable ones.

We ordered a chaise lounge for our unborn daughters nursery and were shipped half of the chair (base, and arm) in a box called A. We contacted Overstock to see where box B was (the hardware, legs, and back) and had to convince them that there was actually a box B, although it clearly stated on the shipment, box 1 of 2. We waited patiently for a month to receive the rest of the chaise to no avail. We just had a courier pick up Box A and finally received notice that our refund is being processed. We have had to make call upon call over this ordeal to Overstock, the only saving grace was a lady in the International team named Denise F. She was helpful and finally got us on track to get the first box gone and money back to us ASAP. We still go not have any idea where box B is and may receive it one day, and then we have to call overstock again for a second courier to come and pick that up, that's if it ever comes, who knows. It is hard to wrap your head around paying ~ $860.00 CAD for something and to end up a month later with nothing and waiting for your refund to process. Hard pill to swallow. It would be next to impossible for Overstock to ever come back from this with us as customers. It would be a risk just not worth us taking. We weren't even offered one thing in lieu of our time, our aggravation, and discomfort. I imagine that they would hope to do better.

Tip for consumers:
I would not advise anyone to order from them.

Have ordered two major items, a gas firepit that has never worked, and an office stool that came with no wheels. This place is more trouble than it's worth. Didn't save a dime.

THE COMPANY I'M REFERRING TO IS ACCESSORY OVERSTOCK NOT OVERSTOCK.COM. I ORDERED A WIRELESS CHARGER BACK IN DECEMBER AND HAVE YET TO RECEIVE IT. IT'S ASHAME HOW PEOPLE CAN RIP PEOPLE OFF. ONE DAY YOU WILL PAY.

I always check here, and a couple of other places when I'm ready to purchase something. Sometimes they have it, and sometimes not. I've had great luck with snowboarding equipment, memory cards.

I'm 15 and saved up enough money to buy my long time girlfriend a diamond ring. They had a 30% off sale on here so I got it here. I was going to give it to her for Christmas, but three weeks after I ordered it, and on the tracking page it said "in transit" (for the 16th day in a row), it still didn't come. I told them it didn't come and they said they couldn't refund me. So, I saved up enough money over 6 months to spend on my girlfriend for Christmas, and it didn't come at all because of their $#*!ty $#*!ing reliability. Plus, THEY DIDNT PAY ME BACK. All my hard work and chores went to waste and my girlfriend didn't even get a present from me until i saved up enough money again 4 months later to make it up (on a different website of course). Screw these guys and do yourself a favor, don't buy from them.

So you would think I would have learned my lesson as have had multiple problems with this company but going to advise of most recent issue.in October 2022 I placed an order and here we are at end of March 2023 and still never received product. I first communicated with them through text back in November 22 as product was delayed wanted me to contact ups which I did to no avail.I contacted and spoke to a Mark on 03/17/23 advised him of situation he said it would be reviewed and I would be contacted in 1 to 2 days he was kind but guess what never contacted so I called back today and spoke to a joann worthless customer service for one let's speak English and have people that can be understood but pretty much sorry you ordered it and used your overstock card and are paying interest on an item you have never received can u say fraud theft what else could it be want me to contact manufacturer.really thats my job? As a customer you order you pay really wouldn't you think the company is responsible for getting product to customer in which they have been paid for? Beware of this company I'm headed to my attorney for a civil suit done with them!

I ORDERED A PINK CHRISTMAS TREE FOR MY GRANDDAUGHTER ON NOV 27 WITH RECEIPT ON OR BEFORE DEC 7. WHEN I CHECKED 3 DAYS LATER, INFORMATION ONLY SAID "LABEL CREATED". LIVE CHATTED WITH AGENT WHO INFORMED ME TREE HAD SHIPPED AND WOULD BE DELIVERED ON OR BEFORE DEC7. KEPT CHECKING TRACKING. SAME NOTICE "LABEL CREATED". CHATTED WITH AGENT AGAIN ON 12/2 AND SHE SAID THEY WOULD GET UPDATED SHIPPING FROM SUPPLIER. ITEM HASN'T SHIPPED; NO ONE SEEMS TO KNOW WHY. CANCELLED ORDER. ORDER TREE FROM ANOTHER WEBSITE. PAID FOR 2 DAY SHIPPING. WILL PROBABLY NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM OVERSTOCK IF I NEED IT BY A PARTICULAR TIME. VERY DISAPPOINTING.

The site advertises to have overstock items at wholesale prices. Quite frankly this is not true. There are items are mostly retail or MSRP. Beware and don't be ripped off

There was a wrong address on my order, so I called them within a matter of mintues to change it. They hasd to cancel the whole order and I had to wait for them to refund the money that took several weeks. They blamed Pay Pal and come to find out they did not know how to issue a refund throrugh Pal Pay Portal.
I will NEVER do business with Overstock again!

DO NOT SHOP FROM OVERSTOCK! Buy everything from Wayfair because Wayfair has amazing customer service. Overstock DOES NOT. They sent me a completely defective dresser and I asked for them to send a replacement. They agreed but ONLY if we disassemble the ENTIRE dresser, BOX IT UP, and ship it back to them! They said if I don't do that I will be charged for the replacement or not receive a refund. My husband spent 3 HOURS putting that piece of garbage together and there's no way we are spending any time taking it apart and somehow packaging it up. I have never heard of a company treating their customers so poorly before! Save your time and your money and DO NOT SHOP HERE!

I ordered patio furniture it took over two weeks to receive. And I received one box every few days they did not ship it at the same time or it wasn't put on the truck at the same time whatever the reason was it took a week for me to get the last box. I have not even opened all of the boxes. I received the last box left late yesterday and when I went online to check and see what was going on I noticed that the patio furniture was on sale for $231 less than what I paid for it. So this morning I called and asked for a price adjustment I don't think that's unreasonable it's been less than 30 days. And their answer was no it had to be less than seven days! I have spent thousands of dollars in the past year or two on Overstock and I'm very unsatisfied with their customer service. I could've gone directly to the company and ordered this item but I chose to stay with Overstock and I'm truly disappointed I will never do that again. Overstock needs to make good on the price adjustments when an item goes on sale within 30 days.! I even asked if I could return the item and then re-order it at the sale price and she told me I have to pay for shipping what kind of bull$#*! is that just give me the damn price adjustment! I won't be doing business in overstock anymore.

On Oct 3rd, 2014, I ordered a pair of slippers for my husband's birthday. I paid with PayPal (thank goodness.) On Oct 8th, still no sign of the slippers having been shipped, so I did a chat with a rep who could only say: "I'm sorry" and "It takes between 1 and 5 days to ship items. I told her to cancel the order. She said she would try, but couldn't guarantee it could be canceled. Here it is, Oct 12th, and the slippers still have not been shipped. I had to go to the store in my town and buy the slippers so they would be here by his birthday (on Oct 15th.) If you like to shop online, find another place to do it, unless you are prepared for a waiting game. Customer service at Overstock.com? THERE IS NONE!

Warning do not buy from Overstock! No customer assistance for OS buyers
Purchased a small rug to be sent OS at my expense of a shipping cost of $140, they sent the wrong rug. Unable to get help, no one answers your emails, online chat was useless they said they could not help me. Soooo frustrating it was their mistake and they don't give a dam, 6 emails sent but still waiting to hear back from someone. Looks like we are going to have to make a claim against the company to redeem our money, WILL NEITHER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN...

Tip for consumers:
Don't buy anything from Overstock!! Unless you are prepared to loose money & time

I ORDERED A DESK ON 5/8/20, WAS TO RECEIVE IT ON 5/14/20, THEY DEBITED MY CREDIT CARD ON THAT DATE. I NEVER RECEIVED DESK. I WAS TOLD i WOULD HAVE IT IN 6-10 DAYS, CS SAID SHE SENT ME A 20% OFF COUPON FOR NEXT PURCHASE WHICH SHE DID NOT. NOW 12 DAYS OF ORDERING WHICH IT WAS NOT OUT OF STOCK AT THE TIME OF ORDER I AM BEING TOLD OUT OF STOCK AND NOW THEY ARE TRYING TO DEBIT ME AGAIN. WE ARE TALKING 397.00 X 2. YOU CANNOT GET THROUGH TO ANYONE. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN! WHERE DID THE DESK DISAPPEAR TO?

I get lost on Overstock and wind up always buying more than intended. The quality of the merchandise is great and there are really great deals to be had but sometimes you have to weed through outrageous pricing (based on other stores) to find them. I'm an O Rewards member so I get money back each purchase to use on other items which is cool. I really haven't been disappointed in anything Ive bought yet. I haven't had to return anything either but the wording on their website says it may wind up to be expensive to return something so I guess I should be lucky. I'm a really careful shopper and look at reviews, look at prices, etc etc before making any purchase. I like to know I am getting what I paid for.

Shipping has been free, fairly quick (be warned that if you are buying multiple items, it may come from different warehouses using different mailing services) and nothing has been damaged. I've bought small items, a head board, mattress topper, side table and other stuff and its all been great so far.

I like their Worldstock section too, some really pretty items there.

I love my couch. Color, size, material, firmness, structure and throw pillows are terrific. It would be perfect if it was deeper, I am tall. The price was very good and with free shipping that was really fast, can't complain. The problem that I do have is that assembly was HORRIBLE... ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! The Sadastic people that made the assembly directions must exist solely to frustrate, anger and torture poor unsuspecting people like me. None of the parts were labeled, they fit together terribly and the brackets were not labelled as to which side was up, so I spent countless hours trying to put the stupid things things together. The instructions were very vague. I WILL NEVER BUY A PRODUCT THAT I HAVE TO ASSEMBLE FROM OVERSTOCK EVER AGAIN. Now that being said, I do love the couch and will purchase from them again as long as there is no assembly required. Oh yeah, the customer service reps are awesome and the hold time was short.

Scored an awesome ottoman for under $100 with shipping. This makes me feel incredibly old getting this happy over an ottoman, but I was happy I found it! My living room is now slightly more snazzy :)

I go to this site for various household items. My most recent purchase is hardware for my kitchen cabinets. It was cheaper than home depot and the shipping was free. Win-win for me

I admit the quality of the products from Overstock.com are not top notch since their products are imported from the cheap sources oversea. You can find it's hard to assemble the products sometimes and they tend to put wrong parts in the pack often.
But to be fair, the price of the products are very cheap in compare to the similar products you would see in most furniture retailers. Besides, even though the products I bought are slightly poorly made, the material's quality is not bad at all. Consider this, I got a dining table from IKEA and used it for a year, it started to have bubbles on the surface and I figured out that it was made out of particle board. Then I bought a dining table from Overstock to replace, cheaper price, free shipping, much more beautiful than the table I got from IKEA, and made of real timber. And I thought IKEA was really cheap.
About service, I do think they don't have enough staffs, but so far they've been treating me well. I received some products with missing pieces and wrong parts, so I told them through the missing parts option on their website. It usually took them a week or more to contact me back though. But they showed real concerns about the problems, told me they were really sorry and could either contact the warehouse to send other parts or give back to me a decent amount of money to buy the part from hardware store if I didn't want to wait.

Although I liked the dresser when it came in, it came in with a defective drawer pull. Contacted Customer service and was promised to get a replacement drawer pull. Waiting 2 months for the replacement. Contacted customer service again and they said the part was in and the manufacturer would be sending it out. Another week goes by, and no update or tracking number. Called again. Now they said they don't have the replacement part. I have been lied to so many times it's ridiculous. Now they offered a token amount for me to go out and try to find my own replacement. Good luck with that. Sure I could get a drawer pull that won't match, but spending nearly $2000 for a dresser that now will look like a garage sale item is also ridiculous. They are willing to send me a whole new dresser. Think about this. Send me a new one which will cost them big money in shipping. I also have to send them back the old one that was already in use waiting for the drawer pull part. I have to disassemble it and remove it from my house, reassemble the new one and once again move it into the house. I am not a young man. I am a senior and moving heavy furniture is not easy for me. All of this over s silly drawer pull. Overstock customer service is crap. Furniture of America (the manufacturer) is crap. Do yourself a big favor and don't order from Overstock, because if you do and something is wrong with your order... good luck, you'll need it.

I ordered a dart board from Overstock.com and had a horrible experience. The dart board was shipped in its original box, as if purchased in person from a store - no shipping box or bubble wrap or anything to protect it. It arrived absolutely trashed - the wood was cracked in half, chips throughout the cabinet and even the inside was severely scratched. I called to report the damage and the customer support person asked if I wanted a call or email from the claims department. I asked for a phone call so I could explain that it was shipped improperly. I never received a phone call, just an email that the replacement product was to be shipped to me. And the exact same thing happened again! Even the inside of both dart boards were scratched very badly. I have no doubt both were used dart boards. I felt bad for the customer support people that I spoke with – I guess it's not their fault they work for a horrible company.
I have never written a review, positive or negative, on anything in my life. But I am so frustrated I want to make sure people know to take their business elsewhere.

It's baaack as of August 2024. In 2023 Overstock acquired Bed, Bath and Beyond a company that went chapter 11 and was forced to close all brick and mortar stores. Then Overstock decided to use the BB&B name. (And the award for worst marketing's strategy ever goes to…) Yes, I rolled with the changes and continued to shop the site. The transition went surprisingly well. The new rewards program is not great. Back to Overstock, the new ap is horrible. Tons of bugs (can't go back to search after adding to cart, broken link on track shipping, no way to reach CS) I don't understand as it seems you could just use the old BB&B ap's code. I am not sure why they would try to bring this back. FYI the items and the prices and the CS reps are all the same. The ap is so non functional, I actually thought it was a scam. I researched it before I placed an order to confirm it was real. My order was delivered to the wrong address by the carrier and customer service did resolve the issue to my satisfaction. However I will advise you use the Bed,Bath & Beyond ap and website for now.
