Over Stock has all the items a person may need everything from clothing to gadgets and furniture. Fast shipping and nice people customer service are top line five star so feel safe feel comfortable and shop even on the phone there happy to help don't get discouraged they have it. I love them Overstock awesome...

“Products are subpar and pricing is incomprehensible”

Product I received had missing parts. We tried to buy some from hardware but two major crossbars are missing. Now they say we don't have the parts, take the whole thing apart, find a box and pay the postage to send it back to us. If it is this bad, and you can't fix it then send a new one. You get various coupons, many which are expired. How is it fair to charge different people different amounts for the same product. My other purchase which was a vacuum was of poor quality and seemed used. What does Overstock mean anyway. I think it means over the hill, over priced, over hyped but definitely not over any expectations. Extremely disappointed and will never use this website or company for purchases. I will let my consumer friends know why I have been so frustrated and outraged by the service that seems nice but accomplishes absolutely nothing. How embarrassing.

It's baaack as of August 2024. In 2023 Overstock acquired Bed, Bath and Beyond a company that went chapter 11 and was forced to close all brick and mortar stores. Then Overstock decided to use the BB&B name. (And the award for worst marketing's strategy ever goes to…) Yes, I rolled with the changes and continued to shop the site. The transition went surprisingly well. The new rewards program is not great. Back to Overstock, the new ap is horrible. Tons of bugs (can't go back to search after adding to cart, broken link on track shipping, no way to reach CS) I don't understand as it seems you could just use the old BB&B ap's code. I am not sure why they would try to bring this back. FYI the items and the prices and the CS reps are all the same. The ap is so non functional, I actually thought it was a scam. I researched it before I placed an order to confirm it was real. My order was delivered to the wrong address by the carrier and customer service did resolve the issue to my satisfaction. However I will advise you use the Bed,Bath & Beyond ap and website for now.

BE WARNED! LIE AFTER LIE, HORRIBLE COMPANY/CUSTOMER SERVICE. 3X WE WERE TOLD OUR PRODUCT WAS SHIPPED WITHIN A WEEK OF EACH OTHER. WE WOULD CALL AND SAY WE DIDN'T GET THE SHIPMENT, THEY WOULD SAY IT'S GOING OUT TOMORROW, 3X! FINALLY WE SAID, WE WANT OUR MONEY RETURNED AND FUNNY ENOUGH THE VERY NEXT DAY WE GOT A CALL SAYING, YES, YOUR SHIPMENT IS BEING SENT OUT, REALLY! A MONTH LATER WE STILL DON'T HAVE A REFUND! WE NOW ARE CONTACTING OUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY!

Bought a TNS Serum product. Came without the seal of authenticity and lot number. I asked to return; their response was that they will "escalate" and get back to me...!
I will not buy from them again

I've purchased children's gifts, furniture, a television, a computer, and clothing from overstock. The shipping is fast and reasonably priced. I've always been happy with my overstock.com purchases.

I had a horrible experience shopping here. They sent me a damaged item and then charged me for replacement parts. Customer service was the worst I have experienced.

I applied for credit based on 24 months interest free financing. When l questioned why l was being charged interest they tell me there was no such offer.

I am not a big fan of Overstock, used to use it all the time, but their prices are not that competitive and the quality of goods is not always as advertised.

About a month ago I decided that I needed so me things to spruce up my apartment. I've never shopped at overstock. Well now I guess I can't stop! I got some runners for the kitchen and living room. Amazing. Both are good quality, and look perfect. I also grabbed a lightweight blanket for the summer. Excellent! I didn't know they sold clothing too! I ordered a few t shirts that haven't arrived yet, but they should be here tomorrow. Shipping is quick! So the only thing I ran into that I didn't like. I ordered 4 curtain panels. I ordered grey patterned that looked really great on the site. But when I got them, they are more like sage. So I wrote a review on the site, and when I took a pic, they absolutely look grey even when I took the pic. So I called them to find out about returning them. All I need to do is open the email they sent me, pop the curtains into the package, and bring it around the corner from my house to a UPS return shop. They will scan the barcode that overstock sent me, and when they get my package they will reverse the charge. So easy. I will continue to use them.

This is a must if you shop at Iverstick. It provides you with free shipping on applicable purchases, points for earning and only costs 9.95/ yr. I always am happy that I signed up for it!

Received my boots exactly when they said I would! Boots are fabulous! Love Love Love them! I ordered a size up due to the fact I'm from Canada and they fit like a glove! Will be back for sure!

I attempted to cancel an order of a bookcase within 2 hours of placing it after realizing it wouldn't fit properly with the other furniture in the room. One business day later I was informed that it could not be cancelled, and would be shipped within 2 days. The item had still not shipped, but yet they were unable to cancel it. I contacted customer service to get clarification and find out what options were available, and was told there was no reason listed for why this item could not be cancelled since it would not ship for days. The customer service rep reported they would put in an inquiry to get more info that would be passed on to me by phone call. I heard nothing back, and my next notification was 2 days later that it had shipped. When I called back to request a pre-paid return label, since I felt I made a good faith effort to cancel this item before it shipped, I was told I would have to pay half of the return fee. The item was $200, the return shipping cost was $120, so I would still be responsible for $60 of the return fee (almost half the cost of the item itself). I was told there was nothing else that could be done at that point.

I had one of Chanel's iconic books on my wishlist forever. I kept shopping it and even tried checking it out at the library to see if it was something I would really want... only to discover AND INFORM THE LIBRARY, that their copy had been stolen. Then something came up at work that really made me "NEED" it so I went cyber shopping again for it and stumbled onto one of those sites that lists products at various prices and LO & BEHOLD, there it was at Overstock for $28.00 WAY less than the $75.00 price I kept finding it for. Needless to say, I ordered it immediately and it showed up within the promised delivery time. I have since added Overstock to my places to shop! THANK YOU OVERSTOCK! Who knew?

Buyer Be Ware! I've now purchased a few things from Overstock, and I have the following advice: Look at the item on a big screen and don't buy anything you have misgivings about. If you don't receive your package, or have to go through anything but the most straight-forward return process, you're in trouble. I bought a bracelet that looked very high-quality, but when I received it, the large sterling clasp was hollowed out to make it look expensive. I was so disappointed. Then I bought a rug and a pad in one order. Only the pad arrived, and now I'm caught in a terrible loop with customer service. Every time I call, they say the item was delivered, yet I have a delivery proof that says "1 lb" for the item. No wool rug 5x8 foot big is one pound (that was the pad only). So two call and one hilarious chat session later, I still have no rug, no answers and I'm confused. Their website says, "returned" on the rug, but their CS says it was "delivered" my proof of delivery says it was one pound. I asked the rep if there was anything they could do for me as I'm moving and the rug needs to go under furniture that will arrive any day, and the CS rep was completely unempowered. She could do no more than, "create a ticket for the warehouse." The chat rep didn't even read what I was saying, he just kept saying, "so sorry for your inconvenience. I would be mad too." No matter what I asked!

Tip for consumers:
Look at your item close-up on a big screen, track your packages, and don't bother using chat. The chat reps have too many windows open at once, take forever to reply, and only give you standard pre-formatted responses.

I've never had an order from Overstock that was not entirely screwed up. First I ordered a leather upholstered king-sized bed. It took 2.5 months to arrive; I was expecting about 5 weeks based on the website. It had a nick in the corner, and i was told I would have to pay freight to return it, then they would credit my account up to $25 (my estimates were $125 shipping, a $100 loss for me.)

I ordered three rugs. Four weeks later I was told one was out of stock. The other two arrived, but were the wrong color. The CS rep initially tried to tell me this is what I ordered, then told me maybe I was color blind. Ultimately they arranged to pick up the wrong rug and had the new one to me quickly. I appreciated that part, but the mix-up was just a hassle. Funny to me was the CS who initially asked me to "pack it up and take it to the nearest UPS." I was like... the rug is bigger than me. I also laughed at the image of me driving my sports car with the top down and a big-arse rug sticking over the top of the passenger seat.

I've ordered other items here and there... often without issue. But too often descriptions are wrong and I've had to return an item. I once ordered a Bombay style chest with a marble top. The chest arrived. No marble. Cute as hell though. Not worth the price. I was told to ship it back and I would be reimbursed. I told the CS rep... I'd just keep it and save the hassle... and never order there again.

And... I never will. DONE.

They are always quick to ship and offer great customer service. Typically, they have great quality and free shipping. I love being a gold member and getting 5% back on all my purchases. Love them!

THEY LIED ABOUT SHIPPING! I ordered on 7/19 and they said it would arrive on 7/26. It finally arrived on 8/3; the box was ripped and distressed looking. I can't use it anymore because I needed it for a flip and can't return it bc I bought it on clearance "as is" I will NEVER buy from the again. No wonder AMAZON is so popular; they do what they say they will do.

Used to be great deals but they have gotten greedy. You can find a better deal usually on Amazon. But Amazon rips off their sellers to make their profits... big racket.

I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE OF ONLINE SHOPPING EXPERIENCED SUCH A DISASTER WITHIN 3 DAYS OF BEING A CUSTOMER! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM THEY CLAIMED TO HAVE NEVER GOTTEN MY VERIFICATION DOCUMENTS THAT I SENT THROUGH THE LINK THAT THEY SENT ME. THAT IS BULL$#*!! They SHIPPED ALLL MY ORDERS EXCEPT ONE BECAUSE THEY NEEDED VERIFICATION FOR SHOES AND A DAMN BATHING SUITS AFTER APPROVING MY OTHER ORDERS. THIS COMPANY IS $#*! BACKWARDS. It all started when I saw this TV on this site. Loved the looks of it. Then the horror starts. The shipment gets lost. Overstock then as they should refunds the money. Then the shipment was found and I say ok lets get it delivered. The day it arrives... I saw a hole in the box on the corner. I ask the delivery guy what happened. He said it came to them that way. I asked. Well is it broken?. He said No I don't thinks so. I unpack it in my living room right were the delivery guy dropped it off. Guess what... the TV screen it cracked real bad. I call Overstock and they are happy to send me out another one. Later that day I call overstock back and I said I just like them to pick the TV up and refund me the money back. They said ok no problem. Now today Overstock calls back and said that I received the TV in good condition and I have to pay for it. I told them there was no way I'm paying for a damaged TV that was delivered to my house with there white glove delivery service. They acted like I broke the tv. This guy was really poring it on. I got mad and told him I don't think so dude. I have pictures of the damaged box on the truck and unpacked. He then said ya we have them also. I could not believe this guy knowing the box was damaged and he had the pics to prove it and still tried to make me pay for it. Really... Now the battle begins to get this TV out of my house and refund my money. Hope I dont need a lawyer..

For about the first 5 years overstock.com was in business, I found a lot of good bargains... a wide variety of very good quality items at hard-to-beat prices and shipping costs. Now (and in the last 3 or so years), I rarely shop at the site because the prices (for often less-than-good quality) items are not at all competitive, often as not higher than the same or better quality items at almost anyplace else. I've also found the customer service reps, while polite enough, are certainly not able to answer even simple questions about items for sale on their website... nor are they able to get the answers from anybody else there. Whatever's going on there needs to be looked at and studied hard by the Powers That Be if the company wants to stay in business. There are a LOT of choices we consumers have, and from what I've experienced and from what I've read about overstock.com on sitejabber.com, overstock.com's days are numbered. I wish someone there would take a good look (and take seriously) these reviews by us - the paying public.

Tip for consumers:
Be honest and reasonable, stay calm, tell it like you see it, but don't be mean, ugly and unreasonable. Be a bigger person than any site, organization or person(s) with which you're dissatisfied and unhappy.

I ordered two outdoor carpets. They sent me the tracking. The shipment took longer than expected. I understood with the current issues. The shipment arrived poorly packaged but I figured they were packaged tightly and two were still in there so I opened to check (it was a plastic wrapping only no box) Once opened I realized it was only one.

1. Customer service said it would take them 1-2 business days to SEE what happened
2. After 1-2 business days, they would just refund me
3. I requested to get my second outdoor carpet (I ordered two for a reason)
4. They can not send me a replacement (for something I paid for) because now they are out of stock
5. They can not give me a full refund because the item needs to be returned
6. Oh no, you opened it you can not return the item then so you won't get a full refund either way.

This was the first time with overstock and definitely the last. I now have an outdoor carpet I needed two of for the. Space and now only have one so I will need to spend MORE money because I need the two to match. STAY AWAY FROM OVERSTOCK

AHHHH... I just realized that Overstock doesn't allow to place posts on their FB page, so I'll use what I can: last month, I bought from Overstock a table. It took (almost) a month for it to arrive. Unfortunately, I have missed the opportunity to use it for Thanksgiving as I wanted. Why? Because the delivery company couldn't care less. I ordered a dark GRAY table, and I got a BROWN one. So I called them and asked to return it. They asked me to take a photo of the table and send it to them if I want to be refunded and don't want to pay the refund fee (WTF?!). They want to see that it is BROWN and not GRAY, as I said. In their eyes, if they write on the website that it is gray, so-- it's gray (WTF2?!?!). The returned fee is 20% from the order. 20%!. It is rude, a robbery, and awful customer service. I am soooooo mad!
