Over Stock has all the items a person may need everything from clothing to gadgets and furniture. Fast shipping and nice people customer service are top line five star so feel safe feel comfortable and shop even on the phone there happy to help don't get discouraged they have it. I love them Overstock awesome...
Product I received had missing parts. We tried to buy some from hardware but two major crossbars are missing. Now they say we don't have the parts, take the whole thing apart, find a box and pay the postage to send it back to us. If it is this bad, and you can't fix it then send a new one. You get various coupons, many which are expired. How is it fair to charge different people different amounts for the same product. My other purchase which was a vacuum was of poor quality and seemed used. What does Overstock mean anyway. I think it means over the hill, over priced, over hyped but definitely not over any expectations. Extremely disappointed and will never use this website or company for purchases. I will let my consumer friends know why I have been so frustrated and outraged by the service that seems nice but accomplishes absolutely nothing. How embarrassing.
Horrible customer service. It took 3 months for my order to come in and product was a joke and now I can't return for a refund cause if you order from the site no returns or refunds. I will tell everyone of the scam they are running.

Just had the most annoying transaction with overstock.com. My order clearly shows a Free Shipping by 12/25 banner, yet there is a shipping charge. After an HOUR on the chat system they still would not waive the fee. I was told two completely different justifications about the fee (did not meet minimum order and also was not close enough to 12/25). Really, it's all BS. Their banner clearly states that shipping is free. There is also no shipping charge listed in the Shipping Options menu. Yet, they charged for shipping. See image below (hiding the item itself). Really, I couldn't care less about the $5 - it's not even my money. It's just the principle of the thing. Such poor customer service. Shame on Overstock.com

DO NOT BUY anything large from overstock.com! I bought shower doors a month ago, today... exactly 4 weeks later they cancelled the order saying no stock. REALLY? How come its showing you have 9 in stock and I can verify it with a phone call to your customer service people. I asked for a supervisor and all he could say was I will investigate it and Sorry. Called me back to say Sorry again...You will have to reorder it again and wait another 4 weeks. WTF you guys suck

This company will not last long. Their customer service is lost and inadequate. My order was blocked at first because they couldn't be bothered to call me to verify their own security checks. Then it took 6 weeks to ship. 4 fake shipment notifications. They had no idea where or when my order was going to ship. Very poor experience.
I ordered a memory foam mattress for over $700, it was supposed to be medium, its awful, so soft you just fall into it and even though its 12" deep you go straight to the bed base. I complained, they said it was faulty, that they would refund my money, call me in 24 hrs to arrange collection, nothing happened, I called 6 times, emailed, different story every time. Now they email telling me it cannot be returned. I wont get a refund. Disgusting service, nowhere online does it say it cannot be returned.

Overstock sent a $200 rug to the wrong address. When I tried to explain to them that it was their fault they informed me that I needed to contact Fed Ex regarding this expensive item that already had been delivered to someone else. Amazon would have replaced the item immediately. Live and learn. I will NEVER buy from Overstock.com again. LOUSY customer service!
Hands down the worst company I have ever done business with. After weeks of searching for the perfect desk for my wife and I's office we finally found the exact one we wanted. After being beyond thrilled, we waited nearly 3 weeks for delivery. 72 hours before we were about to receive our purchase we were informed that the item we bought was given to another individual and we would not be receiving it. Their customer care was beyond useless and tried to sugar coat the issue by passing the blame to a third party vendor. After blaming the vendor who handles your inventory, their company did nothing to rectify the issue other than simply reimburse us our money. Now we are left high and dry with no home office for several more weeks, and will either have to completely redesign our office or spend endless hours trying to find the perfect desk yet again. I absolutely will never use their company again, and will be certain to persuade others to not do so as well!
I ordered a bed frame from Overstock, but realized I put in the wrong shipping address. I reached out to see if they could change it, and they said, no problem, they'd do so.
The next day, I check the tracker, and I saw that the package had been sent back to sender! I reached out to Overstock again, and was basically told that there was nothing they could do, that they'd issue me a refund, and can't even place the item on hold for me because it's out of stock. They are going to issue me a refund when the item gets back to their warehouse, which will take another week.
Unbelievable, uncaring customer representatives. The unwillingness I will never purchase another product from here again.
I ordered luggage from OVERSTOCK on wednesday at 3 am & chose expedited 1 day shipping which cost almost as much as the luggage... they decided to place my order on hold at loss prevention. They finally contacted me this morning to verify my address at which point I asked when the delivery was set for... the answer was next Tuesday the 21st! What was the point of me paying $150 for expedited shipping? To receive my shipment 4 days late?!?!? When I spoke to Shelly in management she was insincere throughout the entire conversation. Basically unapologetic. I will never use this website again! What a waste of time & energy... Amazon is so much more reliable.
I love this site. I bought my down comforter and Egyptian cotton sheets for a fraction of what they would of cost anywhere else, and the comforter and sheets are very nice quality. I also ordered three throw rugs for my rather long and wide hallway in my house. The total for all 3 rugs was under $100. The rugs look great and are holding up well despite our two cats running around on them. The carpets had obviously been stored for a while as it took months for them to finally lay flat, but they were worth every penny, our friends think we spent hundreds more than we actually did.
I have bought several pieces of furniture from here and never had a problem with them. They always have beautiful items at awesome prices.
So buy as little or as much as you want and you are still only paying absolutely nothing for S&H
I bought a chest of drawers for $130 here. It arrived about a week late and then fell apart right after I spent 4 hours building it and had thrown away the huge and heavy box (I live in a walk-up). Every single drawer was broken and my stuff was everywhere. They offered me a measly $25 compensation or said my only option was to spend hours carefully taking it apart so they could 'inspect it' and maybe offer me the exact same product as a replacement... absolutely not, bought one of Amazon. Avoid.
I spend hours on the phone trying to resolve issues with the cancellation of my order. No one helped or cared to help. I bought from so many other companies and this is by far the worst customer care experience I have ever had. Don't buy from Overstock.
We used overstock.com two years ago for Christmas gifts. One of the gifts we ordered was sent to another state. Constantly checking on where our order went to, we finally got a response and they claimed to mail a new one out. It turned out that the second order also got mailed to a different state! Continually trying to get resolution to the situation, we just gave up. We never got our intended purchase and we never were given any type of refund.
The prices at overstock.com are not really discounted. They may receive overstock items but some things are actually more expensive than if you were to purchase at a local retailer.

I bought 3 dresses from Overstock. 2 did not fit. They arrived in one package, but Overstock made me send them back as 2 shipments, paying for each. When I was notified about my refund being processed, I saw I was charged a random amount for "discount". It ended up being around $20 per dress, meaning I paid $40 for the privilege of trying on 2 dresses. Never again. I will not buy anything from there ever again.
My experience with Overstock has been stellar. I had a very frustrating situation recently where a piece of furniture (that was less expensive on Overstock than anywhere else) arrived damaged due to shipping. They immediately shipped another which was unfortunately even more damaged - again, clearly due to shipping. They could not have been more accessible (okay, there was a bit of a wait due to pandemic-era staff reductions, but still...), apologetic and professional. A full refund was issued, even though only a percentage off was fair for the damaged first item which I kept. I've purchased many things from Overstock over the years, have never had a problem due to company operations and will continue to shop there.
Ordered a small Bombay chest I thought would be a cute accent piece. Very very poor quality. The chest has three drawers, only one is functional. Second drawer the slide fell out within minutes of opening an undamaged shipping box and the third drawer won't even close completely because the slide isn't put on straight. Besides this, pieces of the "finish" fell off the front of the chest also within minutes of taking out of box. Read multiple poor reviews on "return" policy so we are not getting our hopes up on being able to return this item. Feel betrayed.
The lead tells it all. Were they kidding me? No, an acceptable substitution by Overstock's standards. I am not sure what kind of home these standard setters live in, but not home I have ever been in would be equally served with an end table in front of the sofa instead of a coffee table. I had to return this fiasco and buy an end table at a local store. When mistakes like this are made, you are only given one chance. I am through with Overstock.com. A David
Have ordered multiple times. They have responded quickly, and provided good products. I would like to be able to order singles - for instance I needed 2 love seats and a couch, but could not order the extra love seat... I would have liked stain protection, but did not see it offered.
Got a great value on an Oriental - style carpet, well made, but the color online was silver-grey-blue, and the actual is dark blue.
Will continue to shop with them.
I recently ordered a table from Overstock.com. I was unsure which color I wanted. The customer service rep suggested I order both and return the one I didn't like. I specifically asked about return fees. He assured me there would be no fee for returning, all I had to do was send it back in the original box. I am now being charged $50 to return the table. I spoke with a customer service rep regarding the matter. She told me "sorry that's our policy". Very upsetting. Terrible customer service. I would not trust any "guarantee" you are given from this company.
Ordered a set of 2 barstools from overstock, I received one. No matter I thought. Overstock cares for their customers and will solve this issue. 2 Weeks of painful correspondence later in which I was passed around from person to person, they refused to fulfil my order and as compensation offered a "free refund". So they wished to simply sweep me along with the rest of their falsehoods under the rug. Will never shop with them again and encourage you to avoid any business with them as well. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.

I use Overstock.com as one of many places I compare prices when shopping for a particular item. I've used their emailed FREE shipping or % off coupons to make those deals even better.
I've purchased a plasma TV & a new living room chair from Overstock in years past. I was very happy with the prices, shipping & condition of the items when they arrived.
These people are completely clueless. I have been waiting 2 weeks for my order and it has never left the warehouse. They won't reship it or refund my money. They keep assuring me that someone will contact me regarding this issue. I've been waiting 3 days for that to happen. Good luck if you choose to use them...
Purchased a patio chair set, and it came missing hardware and contained damaged parts. Customer service was dreadful, slow and nearly useless. After a month, I got replacement parts which also were damaged. The offered O Club membership (who cares?) and site credit (really after this experience?). This is the last purchase on Overstock.com for me. I couldn't be more disappointed by a company!
I ordered a shelf unit with their Presidential Sale. They would not allow coupon use due to special sale. The next day the same item was discounted even further, but overstock will not do a price adjustment even though they did not ship my item yet. Same sale, different price. Their prices seem to change constantly so you never know if price is lowest. Further, they wont let you cancel order.
I found out Wayfair offers a 7 day price adjustment if price you paid is reduced. Wayfair seems more reputable. So i ordered remaining items for closet system from Wayfair. Got Better pricing too.
I won't ever use Overstock again. I caution anyone who does. You will be disappointed.

Don't trust overstock. Overstock pricing seems to change by the minute, so you will likely over pay. And unlike Wayfair, overstock will not do any price adjustment. My recommendation is to use Wayfair. I ordered remaining closet system from wayfair and got better pricing and much better customer service in finding items I needed.
