Over Stock has all the items a person may need everything from clothing to gadgets and furniture. Fast shipping and nice people customer service are top line five star so feel safe feel comfortable and shop even on the phone there happy to help don't get discouraged they have it. I love them Overstock awesome...

“Products are subpar and pricing is incomprehensible”

Product I received had missing parts. We tried to buy some from hardware but two major crossbars are missing. Now they say we don't have the parts, take the whole thing apart, find a box and pay the postage to send it back to us. If it is this bad, and you can't fix it then send a new one. You get various coupons, many which are expired. How is it fair to charge different people different amounts for the same product. My other purchase which was a vacuum was of poor quality and seemed used. What does Overstock mean anyway. I think it means over the hill, over priced, over hyped but definitely not over any expectations. Extremely disappointed and will never use this website or company for purchases. I will let my consumer friends know why I have been so frustrated and outraged by the service that seems nice but accomplishes absolutely nothing. How embarrassing.

I have purchased fine china, drapery, bedding and furniture from this site. I have found the items that I purchased to be of an excellent quality and I was greatly pleased.

I don't like to start a new account with a password for every purchase, every website. There are already too many opps for people to scam me and steal my identity.
I want to log in with an ORDER NUMBER from a PACKING SLIP and start a return. I don't want to phone. I don't want to email. OVERSTOCK MAKES THIS VERY DIFFICULT, and I've had it.

Overstock is a good company. My friends and I have bought stuff at Overstock and were pleased. The shipping was free and if there is a shipping charge, it is very little.

I ordered a small braided rug to use in front of my husband's chair. The fiber content is 65% polypropylene/35% nylon which has turned out to be a rather slick material. The rug slides when stepped on even though I
Put a rubber mesh pad under it. It created a very hazardous situation for my husband who has mobility issues. I started the process to return the rug for a refund. When offered the choice of a prepaid return label or to handle the return myself, I opted for the prepaid label. The charge was going to $24.06! I paid only $35 for the rug. I changed to the other option. Then I read the rest of the fine print. Overstock states they will inspect the returned item and then determine how much of the original purchase price they will return. Why in the world would I trust anyone at Overstock to deem to refund my $35 when I have stated in the reason for return that the rug has been walked on, "used" for their purposes? Everything about their return policy is highly questionable. I have unsubscribed from their emails and I will never shop Overstock.com again. Buyer Beware!

I purchased a sofa, coffee table and end tables in Nov. 2021 the coffee table and end tables were shipped without incident, the sectional sofa on the other hand was where the problems started, on the day of delivery my wife took a vacation day so she could let the delivery guys in as i paid for the white glove service which is delivery, setup and removal of all packaging material, i received a call when they were at my address and the delivery guy told me they could not bring it into house because of covid and they were going to leave it in my back yard, (while it was raining) remember, i paid for the complete delivery service and did not hear a word from shipping company about non deliveries or any exemptions. When i got home a couple hours later my wife said she had to pay the delivery guys cash to put the sectional sofa which came in two separate boxes, in back door and it was still in boxes! Now as i was reading other reviews i saw there were other complaints about shipping company, to which overstock replied they were not responsible, yes they are responsible as they did not give myself or the other complainants the option of requesting their preferred shipping company. I will not be ordering anything from this company until they refund the extra money i paid for service and the cash my wife paid to have the actual sofa brought into house. I cancelled my Club-O membership and also left this same review on Overstocks website, i did not include photos or purchase info at this time pending legal action.

Tip for consumers:
be careful when oversized items are shipped to your home.

Pay your entire bill early unless you want an extra interest charge put on your balance even though you paid your entire bill. You get a big surprise and get to pay more.

I ordered from Google Express and the item shipped from Overstock.com. I needed to return it and both Google & Overstock refused to help me. Both stated it was the other companys responsibility to process the return. I HATE DEALING WITH OURSOURCED PEOPLE! All either side would do is regurgitate policy. They wouldnt problem solve. Ill never order from either company again.

The Overstock website is annoying, if you select an item to read about, and then if you then want to go back to the list, you need to scroll back down and try to find where you were!

Ordered a queen size bed set, queen size frame and two twin beds. Said over and over and over again it could only be delivered on Friday afternoon, Saturday, Sunday or Monday morning. Had to be given advance notice as this deliver address is a summer weekend home and we are only there on weekends. If it is to be delivered on Friday or Monday, I need to take a day off work so I need several days notice.

Called UPS (which your telephone person told me I had to open an account as they use UPS or FedEx for delivery). First lie. Received notice on Saturday 7/21 that part of my ordered would be delivered today and part of my order would be delivered tomorrow 7/24. No one will be there on either day. Told them repeatedly that no one is there on weekdays!

Called Overstock on Saturday after UPS call. Representative said she had arranged for EVERYTHING TO BE DELIVERED JULY 27 between 1:00 - 4:00. I agreed.

Today, 7/23 received another notice that my order was going to arrive tomorrow (it will be raining all week) and left by my house (in other words, in my garden, in the rain). Called again today told that my entire order would not be shipped on 7/23,7/24, but a partial shipment would be coming on Friday July 27 from 1:00 - 4:00. No one ever told me that the queen size bed would be sent at another time. Another day off work. They are good at selling and good at lying. Terrible at follow through or telling the truth. DON'T USE THEM!

I decided to return an expensive handbag because when it arrived I did not like the color. I went on my account for return instructions and my handbag came up "unreturnable". I know I would not have ordered the bag if I was unable to return it. So, I went back on the site and found that on the Product Detail Page, (which is the order page, i. E. "add to cart" page) there is a NOTE (yes, bold letters) at the bottom of the page which states: "Bag may NOT be returned if red security tag is removed". This statement seems clear enough that if you want to return the bag, it's fine as long as you leave on the security tag. I live chatted with customer care, she asked a bunch of questions and finally said someone would contact me in 1-2 business days.

I then went online and read many, many reviews. There was not one positive review from anyone who tried to return an item. Seems that even when they grant you permission to return an item, the return label is expensive and credit to your card can take a very long time, and there has also be reviews when the customers ended up with no product and no refund.

I have decided to keep the bag and just not order from them anymore. The fact that the product detail page indicates your item is returnable and the returns page says your item is nonreturnable suggests to me that this company is dishonest in their practices. I should have checked reviews before I purchased.

Rats. I messed up. I didn't know Overstock, but their ads were constantly on my laptop surrounding my email etc. I needed some bedding and towels. Went to Overstock. Prices weren't great, but on the order pages I noticed that it would say "1 set of 3" and that kind of thing, so I figured that meant 3 towels to a set, and the price seemed fair for 3 towels. When my order arrived, Overstock sent me crap merchandise that looked nothing like the photos and that did not match what I thought I had purchased. Overstock also sent me 1 towel and not 3 towles. When I went back to the website, I literally saw the words changing before my eyes. At one point it said 1 set of 2, then at another point it said 1 towel. Also the prices changed from what I was charged. And, worst of all, Overstock offered 15% off, then failed to give me the 15% off. Overstock promises in writing to send order confirmation to your email address, but in fact, it doesn't. Overstock has no customer service, either by phone or by email. Overstock refuses to communicate with customers after cheating them. All we can do is get the word out so people will learn before they are ripped off and cheated by Overstock.

Tip for consumers:
Do not buy from Overstock. They are not what they appear to be.

Since Overstock provides no return address and has no customer service, I am stuck with this nonconforming crap.

My item, that was on order for months, was never delivered, I was never notified, and I was charged over $200 for a return fee that I never requested. Don't trust Overstock!

Easy to shop at and find what you need. Emails often have discount codes. Not much, but something. Quality is generally good. Decent return policy. Cheap shipping.

Ordered a small dresser. This was the worst piece of an excuse for furniture. So cheaply made. I will never purchase through them again. Beware sub-par merchandise.

Two orders from Overstock.

1. A chase, it came completely torn and dirty in the corner.
2. An ottoman, wrong color.

Seriously, NEVER again. I got to Wayfair. Same price, not many issues, if any.

When overstock.com first started business. It was wonderful. Fantastic prices for very acceptable items. Now they are overpriced. Much higher than other sites and stores. Poor service. Junk..

Purchased a pricey Diane von Furstenberg Black Wool Wrap Coat from Overstock (vendor is KOTORE). This long coat is ridiculously tight in the shoulders, you gotta order two sizes larger than shown. Got a return authorization and shipped it back to seller who still has not issued the credit. Quite frustrating! A month later they refuse to credit my account forcing me to submit a chargeback request with my card issuer. OVERSTOCK DOES NOT HAVE CONSUMER RECOURSE OR OVERSIGHT OVER THESE UNETHICAL VENDORS! Buy elsewhere or get screwed like we did.

This site has been nothing but AWESOME when I have purchased from them. The shipping is $2.95 for whatever you order and they have tracking for your purchase. I believe I have ordered from them at least 10 times in the past year and have always received my items well packaged and in a timely manner.The items I've purchased have generally been small ticket items (shoes, boots, handbags, books) so I can't speak for their bigger ticketed items. I did have to contact customer service one time to see if an item had been shipped but I think I jumped the gun do to my son's constant nagging for this item LOL. I am also impressed by the company's ethics. They recently gave many of theur customers free membership into their o-rewards program because they refused to give in to state government demanding that taxes be charged in certain states. Instead of kowtowing to this they pulled their merchandisers from these states and gave what money they saved to their customers.(a free o-rewards membership and a $10 credit). You don't see this happening too often from any company. I have nothing but good things to report on my buying experience with overstock.com.

I WOULD GIVE THIS 0 STARS! This is the worst company to deal with. They do not care for customers. I purchased a fan on a saturday night a few minutes later a cancelled the transaction because i found it way cheaper on another site. I was informed that it was to late that it has been shipped i find that impossible. I called to cancel order they would not, I asked about matching the price they couldn't because I was not an O member which you have to pay $20 for it. After going back and forth they offer me the member for free so they can match the price. Once I asked to match the price overstock would not match it because it can not be a third party vendor. Overstock would rather loose business this way instead of pleasing a returning customer. This is my last time i would buy from this place. NEVER AGAIN.
BEWARE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE!

I bought several items in preparation of moving into a new address. First, they have no way to delay shipping until a later date, only 2 weeks. Second, they shipped one item and I received 2 emails simultaneously, one that it was shipped, one that it was delivered. The only problem? I hadn't moved in yet and I had no chance to call UPS to delay delivery( I had already arranged this on 2 items that had been sent out). When told of this screw up a SUPERVISOR tells me she can't do anything to fix it! I told her that I no longer wanted it and to return the item and give me a full refund and she insisted that I would have to pay for shipping to send it back, even though I didn't even have the item and it was their fault for not sending out the notice of shipment. In the end, I arranged for UPS to pick it back up, which they were happy to do but Overstock's Supervisor refused to do. Horrible customer service. I will never shop with them again. I gave them 3 chances to fix the issue and they never did and forced me to deal with it, as if I don; have enough to do with the holidays, works and moving.

I ordered a coffee table (Anjin Enzo Contemporary 2-tone multi-storage coffee table) with Brand of "Furniture of America" from Overstock.com. I received the parts a week after placing the order, just to realize that there were missing parts, without which I could not even start the process of building the table. When I registered a complaint with customer care of Overstock.com, the gentleman names Kade promised that I would receive USD 50.00 as compensation and that the parts would be replaced at the earliest. What happened next... Guess what! I get an email mentioning that the order for missing parts for "Altra Carson End Table' has been placed and I shall hear from their customer care in 2 business days! So wrong parts ordered for wrong product and not a mention of the refund! When i called customer care again to confirm what's going on, I hear that there was no refund promised or registered in system. Also, the parts were wrongly ordered as I had guessed. They corrected it in their system (apparently... let's see what email i receive next from Jessica). And there was NO promise for any compensation...

This is not the first time Overstock.com has messed with the delivery of parts for "Furniture of America". Just a few days earlier, my headboard that ordered from Overstock.com had parts with holes drilled in wrong places., They finally had to send replacement parts which arrived after 8 days of complaining.

NEVER AGAIN any order from OVERSTOCK.COM.

Particularly, Furniture of America SUCKS! As much as "OVERSTOCK.com"
