Over Stock has all the items a person may need everything from clothing to gadgets and furniture. Fast shipping and nice people customer service are top line five star so feel safe feel comfortable and shop even on the phone there happy to help don't get discouraged they have it. I love them Overstock awesome...

“Products are subpar and pricing is incomprehensible”

Product I received had missing parts. We tried to buy some from hardware but two major crossbars are missing. Now they say we don't have the parts, take the whole thing apart, find a box and pay the postage to send it back to us. If it is this bad, and you can't fix it then send a new one. You get various coupons, many which are expired. How is it fair to charge different people different amounts for the same product. My other purchase which was a vacuum was of poor quality and seemed used. What does Overstock mean anyway. I think it means over the hill, over priced, over hyped but definitely not over any expectations. Extremely disappointed and will never use this website or company for purchases. I will let my consumer friends know why I have been so frustrated and outraged by the service that seems nice but accomplishes absolutely nothing. How embarrassing.

I recently brought a swivel bar stool. When I opened the stool I decided to send it back because I assumed it was two stool for the price I paid. I had a live chat with the intent to return the stool or purchasing an additional stool. I notice within a week the price increased $34. I asked for a refund and a return label. So the rep gave me BS you a valued you customer, if you keep the stool and I give it too you the purchased price will that be alright. I thought about it. I said, as long as I don't pay the increase price. I gave the jackass my information verified the height and same color. When the invoice displayed he charged me the current price of $189. When I complain we disconnected. Contacted another rep. The process took another 45 minutes. She was nice. My order was canceled, a shipping label was sent via email. I was told, I would receive a refund 3-5 days. I had 45 days to return the stool. I returned the stool within two day. Now I'm told I will receive the refund once they receive the stool.
I will never ever order from them again. Walmart and Amazon don't have their customer waiting for your refund that long. I order three items from Overstock, it's amazing how all three items increase in price within a week. Yet they say don't have anything to do with pricing. That's ridiculous.

I purchased a leather headboard. I'm a very comparitive shopper and was a bit nervous. The reviews seemed good so I placed the order. Well it was impossible to attach to the bed frame, one leg screw was bad and mashed the threads to attach to the base of the headboard witch was also drilled in crooked. Overstock asked me to review purchase for a free shipping- I did. They never posted the review and never came through with the free shipping. I waited several days and submitted the review - again- again they would not post the review. I was very respectful in the description btw. NOW YOU KNOW WHY THE REVIEWS ARE SO POSITIVE ON OVERSTOCK.COM.

I BOUGHT SOMETHING PAID IT OFF 1 DAY LATE BUT WAS UNAWARE OF THE CHARGES THAT WERE ACRUING. THEY SENT ME A BILL FINALLY STATING I OWED ONE HUNDRED AND TWO DOLLARS FOR A LATE CHARGE AND OTHER FEES, MIND YOU I HAD A ZERO BALENCE. THEY ALSO WILL NOT HELP YOU LOWER YOUR FEES UNLESS YOU KEEP YOUR ACCOUNT OPEN. THAT RIGHT THERE MAKES ME MAD. NEVERAGAIN WILL I ORDER FORM THEM AND HED THE WARNING.

Can I give them less than a 1 star? Sent wrong item, lied about refund being sent NUMEROUS times. A month later, and still can't get them to refund my money.

You will pay more to return the item than the item cost. Non-existant customer service. In addition, I found the same brand, same rugs for half the price on Amazon.

Tip for consumers:
You are doomed if you try to cancel or return an order.

Products used:
Gave away the rug because to return costs more than the rug itself.

I ordered an entertainment center through overstock.com. It was scheduled for a delivery date. Day of, did not arrive. I called them, they said that the item had arrived at their warehouse, but was not scheduled for a delivery. Scheduled delivery again and gave the # of my bf and my own for contact as my bf was going to be at the apartment all day awaiting the delivery. Day of, kept my phone with me ALL day, no call to me OR my bf. At the end of the day, contacted them, they claimed that someone tried calling me. I had no missed phone calls or a vm, neither did my bf. At this point, I just wanted to cancel and get a refund, which they agreed to. I proceeded to order an entertainment center through a different website. Next day I received an email from overstock.com saying that they would refund me, but I would be charged a $185 restocking fee. This was not explained to me when I expressed my wish to cancel and now I have ordered 2 entertainment centers and have neither of them! I emailed with a manager, they were not willing to let the restocking fee slide, so I scheduled yet another delivery date, specifying 3 times my phone number not my bf's this time as he could not wait all day this time. They called my bf's # and he had to cancel his physical therapy appt because overstock.com cannot get organized apparantly. I would NEVER order anything from this company again! TERRIBLE experience!

I saw ottoman chair with cow hides, they have the price for $125. When i tey to check out, price keep changing. I contacted them but they have ni answers, i have put a complain to BBB.

I've had two very bad experiences with Overstock in the last month. The first concerned an order I made for a white set of kitchen table and chairs. They delivered it to me but all of the pieces were yellow even though my order read WHITE, as did the receipt. The customer repI talked with was honest and told me that if I returned and reordered the white set there was no guarantee I would ever get a white set. I sent it back
About the same time I ordered a purse. It was from a third party but I didn't know that. I received the purse but the first (and only) day I used it, the clasp would not close and I was walking into stores with the purse wide open. The third party refused to accept a return as they referred to it as a normal item. I appealed to overstock and they refused to refund the money for my faulty purchase.
I've seen lots of bad reviews over the years I've bought from Overstock but now that I've experienced the disorganization and horrendous customer service, I will never buy from them again!
So change this to ZERO STARS.

I compare a lot of prices from Amazon to eBay etc. I find that overstock.com to be overprice.com I think they should change their name to overprice.com.

Be warned do not buy from this company. I ordered wall arches for my living room. I never received any shipping info a week after ordering. Contacted customer service numerous times they we're unable to tell me the status of my order. All they do is give you the run around, never a direct answer. The website doesn't update you at all to tell you when your item is shipping not does customer service know. 10 days after I placed my order it shipped. To me that's unacceptable. I told them to cancel the order, again I was sent a run around email telling me they couldn't cancel it. Why can't it be cancelled if it hadn't shipped yet? I finally get my order, and instead of the brown arches I ordered they sent me blue. Contacted customer service yet again. They said either ship it back for a refund or ship it back to get replaced. I live alone and am disabled I am not able to physically get it back to a shipping carrier. I asked for a small refund as part of compensation because they did in fact send me the wrong color. They offered to refund me $5 back. Lol what a joke and disgusting company. I will never order from this joke of a company again

I ordered a $4K+ bedroom from overstock in early November. After waiting more than 5 weeks for delivery, my $$K+ bedroom suit was delivered without parts. I called customer service because now my bedroom is inhabitable. I have parts all over my bedroom floor. See the pictures attached. The mattress is against the window. I called overstock to get HELP. I asked for a Supervisor to assist me. His name was Paul. He started by reading a card about how sorry he was about my experience, blah, blah. He told me that he could reach out to his partners to get some parts shipped out. Still not understanding my dilemma, I asked to speak with a Manager. He said it would take 2 days for a Manager to respond. Again, I asked Paul if he was understanding my issue. That I was basically without someplace to sleep for the night. Again, he said that he could reach out to his partners to investigate why the parts and instructions were missing. He told me that it would take 2 days for anyone to respond from Overstock. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT OVERSTOCK AGAIN. The customer service is non-existent. The pictures attached reflect my pain and dissatisfaction with Overstock!

We deliberated on a Bookcase for some time comparing options from Overstock and many other stores. Eventually we chose Overstock because there was one on sale and it had a Ratuken discount.

Without any notification or warning, Overstock cancelled our order. Had I not logged on to check the status of the order, I would not have known. Customer service says that after I placed the order they realized they were out of stock. The plan to refund our money but now we have missed out on Black Friday discounts we could have got for alternative options.

We asked that they re-instate our order and that we would be happy to wait for re-stock but they refused. We asked that the promise to offer the item at the price we paid for when it came back in stock but they refused. They said when it comes back in stock we could talk to customer service about the "best price" but refused to promise it would be the same price. Even if it was, we have missed out on the Ratuken cashback offer on Black Friday.

We are devastated that we are now left without a bookcase and will have to pay hundreds more because of their mistake.

My advice to consumers, avoid Overstock; particularly if the product you want is running out. They may never fulfil your order and they won't even tell you when they cancel it.

I love this site. Everything I have ordered has been the highest quality. The shipping cost is minimal and you receive your merchandise in less than a week. LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT!

I ordered two nightstands that is Nicole Miller Jesse Side Table Nightstand High Gloss Acrylic legs, payed $804 at the Overstock.com
Each of them had missing parts ( door pulls) and damaged.
I asked them to pick them up and they refused to cordinate the pick up.
I asked for discount if they couldn't pick them up and they sent me 15% coupon. I complained then they offered $120 discount. I never receive the credits nor the door pulls that they confirmed to send. The damaged pieces are still sittling in my bedroom. It was like a scam. I could not believe what I expericened with this big company. Once they get your money, they refuse to be fair. They care less about the customer service. I felt like I was dealing with a terrible company in thrid world country.
I wasted my time, and money. Be cauciouse!
I am not a good writer and I hardly ever write a review but I wanted share my experience, so the other buyers don't make mistake like I did. I wish I could upload pictures.

I purchased a mattress through Overstock.com I was delivered the wrong mattress on December 8th 2018. I have been jostled around by everyone about my purchase. This company is a scam! The mattress I received was not only the wrong item, but was also not even manufactured by Serta. The mattress was poorly made and flimsy. Overstock customer service tells me they only directly deal with Serta and not a third party company, yet this is not true. I was told it would take a few days to get the process going to pick up the wrong mattress they sent, yet when contacting Overstock again, they say to me they have no item such as a "Serta Gabbert" and asked for me to send pictures via email to "verify the mattress came from them" after sending the email and not hearing back, I called once again to verify they received my email of the pictures. Shawna told me she didn't receive anything and had me send the pictures through text. I received a text back saying I will now have to wait another 1-2 business days before I hear back from them. I will not be getting my money back until the mattress is picked up. I am disgusted in the way this is being handled! This is the worst company I have ever purchased from. I will still have to go and buy a mattress for my daughter from a reputable company before Christmas, as this was one of her presents. Upon trying to speak with a supervisor, I am told they are busy and will call me back. With the way things have been handled this far, I doubt I will get that call. Do NOT purchase from Overstock!

Possible never ordering again! Possible.

My brother was going to buy me a kindle but with little money he went on OVERSTOCK.COM to order me a E-Reader for Christmas and i was a little mad until i saw the E-Reader he wanted to get me.

But knowing my brother he can never keep anything a surprise so he asked me to order it myself with his card. [I did it of course.]

Don't worry i am getting to the point.

OverStock was advertising that they would Grantee Christmas delivery so we was pretty happy about that.

UNTIL...

I received my tracking code...

I was so happy with the fast shipping that i went on to track my order and just GUESS what i see...

Shipment delivery date 12-28-2010

Boy when my brother saw this he was hitting the fan.

Mainly Because this was the first year that he was able to get every one gifts and my gift was the most important to him.

I say this a lot this time of year is the most STRESSFUL time of all. And i get that things sometimes slip and all but i use to work with sales and i know how important it is to get things out fast.

Anyways i wish they did not grantee something and end up side slapping us with this crap!

Anywhoo i just wanted to let ya know that if this has happened or is happening believe me i understand how you feel

Ordered an expensive pair of German Haflinger slippers. LOVE the slippers but they left long black marks all over our hardwood floors. I called customer service and requested permission to go to a cobbler to see what could be done to eliminated the problem as I really wanted the slippers. Was told that was fine and she said she would make the notation in my file. Cobbler sprayed them with silicone but the problem still existed. I then spoke with the shoe store where I purchased the exact same slippers over 20 years ago and was told that nothing I would do would eliminate the problem, so I called Overstock and conveyed the results of my trials. They sent me a return shipping label and I reluctantly shipped the slippers back with a note explaining the problem. Yesterday, I received the slippers back with a note telling me that they would not take them back because they were worn and they couldn't re-sell them. Why would they want to pass a defective product on to the next victim? This business model will unfortunately prevent me from ever ordering from Overstock.com again or suggesting that anyone else orders from them. How would I have known about the defect if I hadn't worn the slippers around my home. I have ordered from them before and the products I received were perfect so I had no complaints, however, this situation is a whole different ball game and I could not be more disappointed in the fact that the company feels it is okay to sell a product that has a defect and waves all responsibility to take the product back. Buyer beware...

I specifically chose this set because it included white glove delivery. When I had not received a call to schedule the delivery (after two weeks), I checked the tracking information on Friday, 12/14/18. The tracking data stated that the delivery was scheduled on 12/10/18 (not true). I was contacted. I have been out of town for several weeks. I returned on Saturday, 12/15/18 to find that the new set had been delivered on 12/10. It was delivered without the delivery company obtaining my agreement with the delivery date. The dining set is packaged in large boxes that take up more than one-third of my living space. I called Overstock.com for a solution. I was told that my inquiry would be sent to their freight/overweight delivery dept. and that I should hear from someone (no name provided) by the end of the day of Monday. The rep told me that there was nothing else that she could do. I have ordered several items of large furniture from Overstock.Com and have never had this kind of experience without receiving immediate relief - providing the service expected or compensation for the trouble caused by being mishandled. I am so disappointed that customer service did not work harder to remedy the situation. I don't what's going to happen but I know I will be hesitant to order furniture from Overstock.com, again. I have attached photos to show how this delivery is adversely impacting me. I am not able to use my living area. The leather sofa and chairs pictured were also purchased at Overstock.Com; and the pictures on the wall. I'm a very loyal and long-time customer. I intend to donate my current dining set to Habitat for Humanity and was waiting to schedule the delivery date for my new dining set before scheduling a pick up of my donation. Now, I have two dining sets; one in boxes and one that is boxed-in. I expected better. Based on this experience I would give Overstock less than a star but because of past satisfactory purchases and customer service, I give them 2 stars pending outcome of this issue. I will update.

I cancelled an order of a sink ($500) but they would not cancel it and sent the item, instead! Now I must pay to send it back, IF THEY'LL even accept and credit me!

I am in the process of obtaining a 10x10 commercial grade canopy. A search on Google informed Overstock.com have them in stock. I am apprehensive about the durability of the frame so I wanted to see the product in person before making a purchase. I contacted Overstock.com via *******446 and verified the location (******* NW 57th Avenue, Miami Lakes, FL) and hours of operation before I made the 45 minute drive there. The employee assured me the store was open and we verified the location's address. I drove to the location, and it's a medical office, which the medical employee stated has been operational for approximately 1.5 years. I called Overstock.com again and the assistant gave the same location as open. Thereafter, he verified and updated that Overstock.com only operates as an online retailer.
Because of this error, I wasted much valuable time, which can never be replaced. My only available option is to never recommend or patronize this business ever again.

This is a horrible company. I purchased a 12x15 rug from Overstock having this membership in hopes that they would stand by their claim of worry free returns, but the exact opposite has occurred. They first sent me a rug that was quite obviously printed crooked and has made it an ever loving nightmare ever since. I have called them 11 straight days since the day this rug arrived, crooked, and have been told there is nothing they can do for me until I go out and BUY packaging for a 12 x 15 foot rug and repackage this 150 lb rug to acceptable standards for UPS to pick up. Then, while I'm recovering from a back injury sustained from packaging a 150 lb 12 x 15 foot rug, I can wait for it to arrive back in their warehouse for processing and THEN I can wait for them to process my refund. From start to finish I'm looking at an over month long ordeal (if I'm lucky) with countless hours wasted on the phone just to get my money back from something that should have been delivered correctly the FIRST time, when I gave Overstock my hard earned money. This company has set me in a perpetual nightmare that doesn't seem to have an end. I have been told so many stories yet here I sit over 20 days after turning over my money with a monstrous rug in the middle of my hallway awaiting someone to PLEASE pick this thing up b/c Overstock refuses to give me my money back with out a good... long... torture, all the while they sit with an acquired interest free loan compliments of my stupidity. Horrible doesn't even begin to describe my distain for this company.
